Armfuls of balloons were seen delivered to the Jolie-Pitt residence in Prague on Sunday, which was Shiloh Jolie-Pitt’s first birthday. Brad, Angelina and their four children have returned to the Czech capital from Cannes and must have had a party for Shiloh.

Last week’s Star had a pretty rude article about Shiloh’s first birthday adjacent to the non-story about Brad and Angelina’s supposed threesome with model Karolina Kurkova. (I did not cover that, because it was based on one fabricated story from an Australian paper and did not seem to have a shred of truth in it. Kurkova says she never even met them.)

The article was titled: “Shiloh Turns One: Where’s Mommy?” and it focused on questioning whether Angelina would actually be around for the tot’s birthday.

As Angelina Jolie jets off to the Cannes Film Festival for the premiere of her movie A Mighty Heart, the whisper mill has already revved into high gear: Will the international mom be around for her precious daughter Shiloh’s first birthday on May 27?

Even though Angelina has often seemed distant from her only biological child, appearing to favor adopted kids Maddox, 5, Zahara, 2, and Pax, 3, Brad’s planning a fmaily party to celebrate this milestone. What kind of mom would miss that?

The article says that James Haven, Angelina’s brother, will likely be at Shiloh’s birthday and that Brad’s mom, dad and brother Doug will be coming too. I haven’t seen pictures of anyone else arriving but they could be there. They also say that Brad will videotape everything like he usually does.

While Star was pretty mean to made a dig at Angelina by suggesting she would miss her daughter’s birthday they seem to have backtracked this week. They feature a picture of them at the premiere of A Mighty Heart at the beginning of the issue, calling them “Hollywood’s most glamorous power couple!” Until next week, that is, when Angelina is a bad mom and they’re supposedly fighting again.
