Charlize Theron at the Cinevegas film festival awards

Charlize Theron looked gorgeous at the Cinevegas film festival awards at the Palms Casino on Friday. I don’t like her dress as the 60s sequined dress trend isn’t really my thing, and are black nails still in? Her hair and makeup are flawless though.

In attendance were Sir Ben Kingsley, 62, and his girlfriend of about six months Daniela Lavender, 32, a bit part actress who recently changed her name from Daniela Barbosa. Anthony Hopkins was also there. Here’s a link to the festival winners.

We haven’t heard much from Theron recently and one wonders if she should make an appearance at Hyde or The Ivy if she wants to get some press. Either that or some more carefully staged bikini pictures might give her a boost. Those same pictures are also used to fuel the gossip rags, so maybe that’s why she usually lays low.

The news that Theron is being sued by Raymond Weil watches for breach of contract is surfacing again. We reported in February that she was being sued by her biggest sponsor, the Swiss watchmaker Weil, for wearing a Dior watch in an ad for Dior. Weil paid her $20 million to represent them exclusively for watches and Dior’s perfume campaign was worth just $3-5 million. Theron is being sued for $20 million, the amount she was paid to represent the Weil brand.

Thanks to WENN for these pictures.
