Married country singer LeAnn Rimes has stirred up quite the controversy for herself. Yesterday US Weekly came out with a cover story in which they detailed video evidence that she’s having an affair with married actor Eddie Cibrian. The two costarred in a Lifetime movie together. Now US has released the video, in which the pair are clearly on a date.
Us Weekly has the exclusive video of LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian kissing, holding hands — and even sucking on each other’s fingers during a March 7 date at Mosun and Club M in Laguna Beach, California.
Twenty-two seconds into the clip, Cibrian arrives at the restaurant and they walk in hand-in-hand. Then they’re seated — as seen in the center left of the frame — and proceed to hold hands (36 seconds) and kiss (1:47). At the 2:10 mark, Rimes suggestively sucks on Cibrian’s finger. They leave together shortly after.
Us Weekly has seen the $95 receipt for the dinner, as paid for by Cibrian on his credit card and signed by him. The newest issue also shows photos of Cibrian and Rimes meeting up for a three-hour tryst March 14 at the Malibu Beach Inn — where the blinds were closed and a do not disturb sign was placed on the door. Cibrian was not wearing his wedding ring.
All the while, Cibrian’s pickup truck sat in the parking lot with a visible child’s car seat in the back.

US has been doing some hardcore investigative work. I wonder who tipped them off to the affair in the first place? Rimes has been vague in her response to the allegations, while Cibrian has denied them.
The stars of Northern Lights are not fusing together. So says Eddie Cibrian, who costars with LeAnn Rimes in the upcoming Lifetime movie and who awoke Wednesday to find himself the subject of a scintillating Us Weekly cover alleging an extramarital affair between the two.
“Other than being friends and two actors who were romantically intertwined in a movie-for-television we filmed last fall, there is no truth to the reporting initiated by Us Magazine,” the 35-year-old married father of two said in a statement obtained by E! News. “It is a fabricated story that is using random snapshots as connective tissue to create a scandalous relationship.”
Cibrian’s denial follows Rimes’ morning post to her website, in which the country-pop songbird lamented this “difficult time” in her life. “I would like to assure all of you that this is a place for you to hear things directly from me and as you all know, not everything in our lives is always black and white,” she wrote.
But while Cibrian has dismissed the pictures published in Us of what are said to be Rimes and Cibrian on a date, an employee from Mosun in Laguna Beach, Calif., tells E! News that on the night in question, the two were “quite clearly on a date… They came in holding hands, and they left holding hands,” the source said. “It was not a ‘friendly’ situation.”
“They were kissing over the table, holding each other’s hands across the table, kissing each other’s hands, touching each other’s faces,” the source said. There’s also surveillance video of the duo eating dinner, and “there’s no question of who it was,” the source concluded.

It seems like there’s nearly irrefutable evidence of an affair. At some point it’s better to just come clean. It’s been rumored that LeAnn’s husband, Dean Sheremet (who is one of her former backup dancers) is gay. LeAnn has never addressed the issue, but I can’t help but wonder if she’s hinting at something along those lines when she says “not everything in our lives is always black and white.” It’s safe to say we’ll hear some type of more official response from Rimes in the next few days.

I don’t know which is worse; the fact that they were filmed eating dinner or that they were totally eating each other’s faces. Probably the latter. I hate cheaters. She is going to find out, “How do I live?” when her husband kicks her busted ass to the curb.

Someone pointed out on another website that they have some cheesy Lifetime movie coming out and this is just publicity for the piece of crap (airing March 21 at 9 PM, folks! Check your local listings). I think that is the case.

I would think that it wouldn’t be too hard to prove it was them in the video. There were plenty of people around.
My question is —- WHY would you be so blatant about an affair? I mean — they aren’t exactly trying to hide it — AT ALL.
They are both married - he has kids? The nerve. Makes me mad. I hate cheaters too.

Cheating is immoral, but as i’ve no clue what goes on behind closed doors, I’m going to say that profiting off someone else’s family situation like this is worse.

I loathe cheaters. Unless they are both swingers or in “open” marriage and have an “understanding”, then it is what it is. Cheating.
And why is thwe concept of ending one relationship/marriage before starting another so hard for some people to grasp? Where’s the “love” in hurting people and being dishonest?

If it’s the restaurant’s footage, then the owner probably decided to cash in and sell the info to US. That’s my guess as far as sources go.

If her husband is gay- she doesn’t have to pay a dime, since it wasn’t really a “marriage” and she can annul the marriage as “fraud”.

lol, i saw the video and i instantly recognized leanne (she faced the camera while on her cell phone and the light played up on her face–it was her, no doubt). i don’t know about the guy, as he was wearing a baseball cap, but the side profile definitely looked like eddie. it wasn’t her husband that is for sure. lol, oh they are so busted! lol. gotta love surveillance cameras! ahahaha.
