People Magazine has confirmed that Calista Flockhart and Harrison Ford are engaged. The couple got engaged on Valentine’s Day, and last month we reported the rumors of the pending nuptials. Harrison Ford is 66 years old, and this will be his third marriage. Calista is 44 years old and this will be her first marriage.
According to People, they have been together for seven and a half years, which sounds about right. Allegedly, they met for the first time in 2002, and started dating soon after. Calista was (and is) a single mother to son Liam, whom she adopted in 2001 as a newborn. The rumor is that Harrison is very close to Liam, and that Calista wants Harrison to formally adopt Liam. Ford, 66, surprised Flockhart, 44, with an engagement ring on Valentine’s Day weekend while the two were away on a family vacation with son Liam.
Reps for the couple did not return calls.
The couple has been together for seven and a half years. No wedding date has been set yet.

Good luck with that, Calista. And I really mean that. She’s put in more than seven years to this relationship and she’s even let her son get close to Harrison. Harrison’s going to look like a tool (in my opinion) if he doesn’t marry Calista. I really hope this wedding happens… I think it probably will, but we won’t hear much about it. They both seem to take their privacy seriously. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Anyhow, I wonder how long it will be before he trades her in for a younger model.
That wouldn’t be a surprise because, you know, it wouldn’t exactly be the first time he would do it and, sometimes, karma plays little jokes like these on people…

They’re both so rude & nasty. A few yrs back I worked at a high end retail store that catered to alot of celebrities. Anyway, one day they came into the store (which I didnt care abt since I not a big fan of either one of them) but this man tells Harrison how much he admires him & what a wonderful actor he is & he coldly says ” Do u mind, Im shopping here” WTF?! And she was just standing there w a diva-esque look on her face like how dare he…fk ‘em both

This relationship really shocked me when it began because it seemed so unlikely. It has obviously worked well, though, and I think Harrison has decided he can grow old with this woman. Having the son is the icing on the cake.

GOd she looks about 10 years old. Harrison looks like a pervert when he is with her.

First off, Calista does not look like she is ten years old. She does have a curvier if somewhat still slim figure. You can tell that she has gained several pounds or more. She is not the walking skeleton she used to be. Her body type just tends to be naturally slim. For example, you can see her curves in the pics of her at the Firewall Premiere.It’s not like she has a body that goes straight up and down like an arrow. Also, I think I have heard she is an A cup which is small but that is not flat as a pancake. If you look at pictures of her at the premieres or the hollywood gatherings she shows off her figure nicely. The thing that I have observed is when she goes about her normal routine. As far as that is concerned I have seen pictures of her out and about and sometimes she has a tendency to wear clothes that are a bit on the baggy side which seem to emphasize her slim figure even more.
