Prince William exits hospital, returns shortly with Prince George: adorable?

wenn22443362

About an hour ago, Prince William left the hospital to head back to his London home, Kensington Palace, so he could pick up Prince George and bring him to the hospital. These are the brand new photos of William teaching George how to wave to the media and the happy onlookers as they arrived back at the hospital a short time ago.

I love the fact that William and George are matching their blues. And George is insanely cute with his little shorts and blue socks. I imagine that Carole Middleton dressed him – apparently, Carole has been at KP most of the day, spending time with George as Kate and William welcomed Princess Cambridge.

Word is that William picked up George because the whole Cambridge family – including Princess Cambridge! – will be heading back to KP before nightfall. Meaning we’ll be getting a big family photo-op outside the Lindo Wing shortly, probably within the next few hours. Apparently, the grandparents (Middleton or Wales) are not going to be visiting Kate and Princess Cambridge at the hospital, but everyone will be visiting in the coming days. Once again, I think Carole and Michael will be meeting their granddaughter before Prince Charles (which is exactly what happened with George too).

Charles and Camilla did send out a public congratulations to Will and Kate – go here to read.

Wow looking more like daddy every time we see him.

You think? I don’t see any resemblance to William. He looks like the Middletons in my opinion, particularly Pippa. He’s a gorgeous kid!

      • Deedee says:

That’s the spitting image of Michael Middleton. And William is looking more like Edward.

      • Jegede says:

        @Deedee
        He’ll be lucky.

Michael Middleton is better looking then Prince William, Prince Charles, Prince Harry and Earl Spencer.

With a fantastic head of hair!

      • Olenna says:

Agree. He looks like Pippa. And yes, he is a cute kid!

      • Two Degrees says:

Seeing ADORABLE Prince George was the highlight for me before the wee Princess of course. George is so Absolutley Adorable. Kate and William make sweet lil chillin, so so sweet.

I think he looks just like Kate and Michael Middleton, except with blonde hair ( and also baby Uncle Gary, go look at Gary’s baby photo in the Daily Mail, he and George look so much alike, down to even the blonde hair and cheeks.)

I’ve seen several photos of the Goldsmiths and Gary and Carole also had blonde hair when they were baby’s or toddlers. I think even though William has blondish hair, George’s hair may darken sooner.

He’s so sweet, awwww just adorable.

    • M.A.F. says:

Let’s hope he keeps his hair and not lose it before his 30’s.

      • luce says:

Agree completely that George looks like Granddad Middleton, but it always bugs me when people rag on men because of hair loss. I don’t even have any men close to me with hair loss, but it is always so mean-spirited, yet accepted because it’s a physical trait that is inherited. Yes, women get far more crap about their appearance, but the best way to remedy that doesn’t feel like it should be bashing men the same way.

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

I agree, Luce. It’s not like they want to lose their hair.

      • Two Degrees says:

If he takes from Goldsmith…Carole’s line, he may lose it, look at James and Uncle Gary.

  2. Vava says:

    He’s such a cutie pie!

  3. bluhare says:

GAH! That is one adorable little tot.

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

So cute, and I love little boys with haircuts like that. So adorable.

      • maeliz says:

My 66 year old father has had that haircut his entire life. That’s how my dad looks so young

      • vauvert says:

Just adorable! And given how we see other celebrity kids react (*cough North West*), you can tell George is just super at ease with his dad and comfortable, and “learning the ropes”. Now if Will and Kate would shape up and do something for a change, I would give them a pass on past behaviour, just for the sake of this cutie pie. They may be lots of things, but their child looks happy and well adjusted.

    Is Wiliam wearing velvet jeans?

  5. Krishan says:

I love his little shoes and his confused face!!!

  6. maeliz says:

Very cute. Love his outfit. My favorite color

  7. booboobird says:

the sweetest picture of William giving Big G a kiss is missing here.
love George’s clothes. and he is so adorable

    • Jegede says:

      That part was so delicious.

    • kcarp says:

I know everyone slams William as being an absentee day but I will say he looked way more at ease than one would expect from an absentee parent.

      • Olenna says:

I have to agree. I thought the gesture was adorable and George was so fascinated with the crowd, that he was like “whatever” with Dad smooching on his face.

      • veronica says:

Watching the live feed of it, you can tell that George is very comfortable with his dad. I am saddened that people like to put it out there that he never spends time with his son because you can clearly see George having no qualms with being with William.

      • booboobird says:

he is accused of being absent in his son’s life? I guess I don’t follow them that much but they both seem pretty involved to me. and G resting his little cheek on papa’s shoulder was also a beautiful sight.
somehow this time Will seemed really happy and relaxed and more lovey than when G was born.

      • Natalie says:

He really wanted a girl. I’m sure William loves George very much but perhaps he’s excited about having a daughter.

      • kcarp says:

Yes he is sort of accused of being not present in his wife or son’s life. It is thought she basically lives with her folks most of the time.

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

I agree kcarp. He looks very comfortable carrying and cuddling George. Will and Kate might spend time apart for different reasons, but I think people read too much into it. My husband and I are very close, but I often travel to see my family and friends without him, because he can’t leave work, and he travels fairly much on business without me. It doesn’t affect our relationship at all in a negative way. I can’t believe that Will would be anything other than a loving father after the example set by Diana and even Charles.

  8. kate says:

Love his chubby cheeks. Adorable dressing like his dad

  9. nicegirl says:

SOO much darling on a Saturday morning! Blessings to the new baby and her big brother!

  10. Jayna says:

Aw, how adorable. He’s such a cutie. I loved when Prince William kissed his little head when walking in. It’s not on here, but it’s in the video. I wish Diana were here to see her grandbabies.

  11. Seraphina says:

He is so cute. Good to see William bringing little George out. Being in line to the throne he needs to be comfortable around people and cameras. And hopefully not fall prey to his father’s dislike of being in the spotlight.

    • Kiki04 says:

Forget William and Kate, I want to see more George! They need to send him toddling out more 🙂

  12. Citresse says:

George looks so much like his father!!!
I love them both in blue!!!
I can’t believe Kate isn’t staying overnight to recover even though she must be in fantastic shape.

  13. THANK YOU for thes adorable photos!

  14. Heathering says:

I know many take issue with much that is British Royal Family, as a Brit of republican views, I do too. However, it’s good to sense that the younger generations are being given greater scope and support in their bids to be more naturally expressive at a simple loving parenting and family level.

Too much hidebound outmoded conventions demanded by grey establishment suits made their connecting with each other, far less others beyond Royal, a struggle in the past. I’ve never envied them some of the closeness or good times to be shared perhaps lost to the ‘stiff upper lip’ principle.

And that laddie always looks an engaging, bright wee cutey.

  15. Catelina says:

He looks so Middleton to me- don’t see Cambridge at all, except the fashion. He’s adorable. Congratulations to the whole family

  16. Kaiser says:

Kensington Palace just confirmed that William, Kate and princess Cambridge will be leaving the hospital at 1:30 EST.

  17. Janie says:

George is just adorable! Congrats on the new little Princess! Wonderful news!

  18. Lilacflowers says:

The video of this arrival scene, which is on the BBC website, is beyond adorable. William put George on his feet when he took him out of the car. He took a few steps and then reached up to be carried.

    • kaligula says:

Yes I wonder why he didn’t want to walk. Too overstimulated maybe, needed to have a birds eye view? He is just incredibly cute, they are so blessed. He’s going to be an excellent big brother 🙂

  19. Citresse says:

Wow- just saw Kate and William leave with the new baby.
What a change from last time with George.
There was no interaction with the press or public other than a bit of waving from the steps.
They waved briefly, went back into hospital, then returned with baby in car seat then left quickly.

    • Suzy says:

Agree they have become rather precious about themselves. If they aren’t in the public eye what is the point to the royals? Very disappointing and I fear they’re only going to get worse.

      • Tracy says:

“Precious?” Oh, come on. The woman delivered a baby mere hours ago. Gee, maybe on the days she GIVES BIRTH we could let her get out of bed, put makeup on, have her hair done, don a dress and high heels …and go the eff HOME! I don’t know if you ever had children, but my guess is if you did, you might not be feeling up to a press conference hours later…just a thought.

These people have jobs, but we don’t own them! Good grief!

      • PipaMid says:

DOC do women/ new moms a disservice showing up in heels, full make up hair. – few hours after delivery – really shallow for such a meaningful occasion.

Prince William was informal, and showcase for the first as seeing PG in GB UK- that he has ‘ daddy skills’ (without being stif).

    • Ana says:

It was extremely fast! Too fast I guess for those people who have been waiting there for so long. The Daily Mail’s helicopter followed their car until they went inside Buckingham Palace…a bit creepy, if you ask me.

      • Citresse says:

Many believe William will be even more protective of his family, now with two children. I think we saw evidence of that today.

      • ann says:

Creepy and pointless. Did they think they’d stop the car on the way home and get out so they could take more pictures of them?

    • Anna says:

While I agree both William and Kate kind of suck, she gave birth this morning. How long was she supposed to stand around for? There is a world of difference between 9 hours and two days postpartum. My hospital had a rule you had to page the nurse the first two times you needed to use the bathroom after giving birth because you were not allowed to walk alone.

      • AG-UK says:

This is the UK yes they went private but they expect you to shower AND take that baby with you. I said to myself man should have had mine in the U.S.

They have new PR reason they had re press at bay and they didn’t want all the craziness like last time.

    • melissa says:

It might have been quick, but how long was she supposed to stand? She had given birth this morning. It was different with George, I think because he was the first child they had to show the world

      • LNG says:

And she had a longer period of rest before bringing George out! 10 hours later and she comes out looking fantastic and joyful. Good on her! I hope she’s home in her jammies now.

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Really! The nerve of her to have a brief stay after giving birth. Some people are just so lazy. Lol

  20. JenB says:

He’s just too darn cute! Those are some precious pictures. I wonder if baby sis will get those brown eyes. He’s the only baby I’ve seen with brown eyes (gorgeous ones!) when neither parent has brown eyes, though I know it does happen. Can’t wait for princess pics!

  21. Betti says:

He is one cute toddler – looks more like Kate dad’s than William and i have to say Kate looked great, particularly for someone who just gave birth. Whoever did her hair and make up should keep doing it.

For names I think it will wither be Alice, Charlotte or Victoria but i suspect they will go for a name that can’t be shortened. As for middle names i think Diana and Elizabeth will be there, not sure about Carole.

  22. kcarp says:

It does seem George is living a pretty normal little life. He will have to get use to the cameras eventually but for now I think it is fine they don’t prance him out all the time.

  23. Congratulations to the British Royal Family!!! So happy for ya!

  24. Iheartgossip says:

It makes me happy to see Daddy & Son looking so comfortable together. Sweet, sweet photo.

  25. flowergirl says:

It’s so obvious that George has dyed/lightened hair.

  26. skipper says:

Geez, a lot of you act like they all owe you something personally and pick them apart so harshly. If I was them and read these comments, I would give you all the finger leaving the hospital. The nice comments are awesome though. The rest of you are just plain jerks.
