It might sound strange at first, but to me, it makes total sense. Two of the most annoying, cheesy acts in popular music are reportedly dating. Pop/opera singer Josh Groban and fashion-challenged, faux bisexual Katy Perry are supposedly embarking on some “low-profile” dates. Have you seen what Katy Perry wears on the red carpet? There is absolutely nothing low profile about this girl. Perez Hilton, who has been kissing Katy Perry’s butt for almost a year now, says he has the exclusive scoop on this new couple.
Multiple sources close to both reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that singers Josh Groban and Katy Perry are dating!!!!!!!!!
“They’ve been trying to keep it very low profile,” a source familiar with the relationship tells us.

Perry did admit to The Post Chronicle in an interview that she has a “crush” on Groban. I really have no idea why. Have you seen this kid? He is the most schmaltzy, sappy-looking doofus I’ve ever seen. He looks like a cross between a cocker spaniel puppy and Barry Manilow. But I guess it’s good news for Katie, who has been single since the holidays. I just pray they don’t decide to do a duet.

Aww. I adore Josh Groban. Something about a man who sings in different languages just gets me all swoony.

Oh, oh, oh, ew. Groban may look like a sappy little boy in dire need of a haircut who makes some hilarious faces while singing, but the man’s got all sorts of crazy talent and musicality. And I’ve just learned recently when he was on Nevermind the Buzzcocks that he’s actually funny and kind of cool and genuine, too. The latter two in particular make me feel uneasy about this pairing.

Have to agree with Annie, Groban is adorable! Watching him on Jimmy Kimmel you see what a sweetheart he is. And his voice is dreamy.

I can’t think of Josh Broban without remembering where I first saw him - on Ally McBeal, one my old favorite shows. So his ugly mug brings good memories which makes him more attractive.
As for Katy Perry…I think she is cute, but yeah, someone hit the nail on the head with that “tries too hard in every aspect of her life” comment. I think she wanted to get away from that “christian singer” label so badly that she lost all respect for herself to do it.
