Brad Pitt ‘can’t stand the sight’ of George Clooney, their wives hate each other too

137774PCN_Brad02

Here are some photos of Brad Pitt outside of the Whitney Museum of American Art in NYC on Wednesday. I didn’t even know he was in NYC! And it’s nice that he was stopping by a museum, although I bet his kids would have loved to have come to the museum too. But maybe Brad just goes to Whitney to pick up his male lovers. Obviously.

Earlier this week, Brad’s huge gamble paid off. Sort of. One of the biggest gambles of Brad’s career ended up being World War Z. The film was plagued with script problems, endless reshoots and a millions of dollars down the drain, but it ended up being a pretty successful film (I liked it, but then I never read the source material). The sequel to WWZ was announced months ago, but now WWZ 2 has a release date: June 9, 2017. Which means they’ll hopefully get the script together in the coming months and Brad will probably be another endless film shoot at the beginning of next year.

Meanwhile, there’s some fun gossip about Brad and how much he hates George Clooney these days. I WISH Brad hated George because George has been leaking try-hard all over the place and it’s getting embarrassing. But no, sources say Brad and George were fighting over the rights to a book. Plus, Angelina hates Amal and vice versa.

Brad Pitt and George Clooney have gone from BFFs to bitter rivals! The two Oscar winners are secretly “at each other’s throats” over a big-bucks business deal that went belly-up, sources told The National ENQUIRER. According to the report, the bad blood boiled over when Pitt’s company, Plan B, beat out Clooney’s production arm for a highly coveted film project. To Clooney’s disappointment, Pitt won the film rights to a book about an American lawyer’s crusade against Big Oil on behalf of the poor farmers in the Amazon rainforest.

The book, Law of the Jungle, chronicles the true-life story behind the 22-years-and-counting legal battle over pollution in the Ecuadorian jungle. The lawyer eventually won an $18 billion judgment against corporate colossus Chevron.

“George desperately wanted the project. Brad knew it, but he scooped it up anyway. He told George, ‘It’s just business, man,’” a source said. “But George can’t forgive him. He thinks Brad’s a big phony now – praising him to the press and then stabbing him in the back!”

Just last year, Pitt, 51, gushed over the 54-year-old silver fox, declaring, “Well, you know, George is one of our best representatives. He’s a joy to be around.”

But, said the insider, “Brad no longer feels that way about George. He can’t stand the sight of him anymore. He told him to his face, ‘I hate you! Drop dead!’”

Even the guys’ beautiful brides – Angelina Jolie and Amal Clooney – reportedly hate each other now. Said the source: “Angie thinks Amal is ‘putting on airs,’ and Amal thinks Angie is a pretender.”

[From Radar]

Brad shrieked, “I HATE YOU, DROP DEAD” as tears streamed down his face. His choked weeping consumed him as he tried to stare out at the ocean. Soon, Brad thought. Soon I’ll be able to hop on my motorcycle and cry my salty, bitter tears about George. But Brad knew The Leg was waiting for him at home. The Leg would not be pleased. Brad could feel The Leg’s wrath already and it just made him cry even harder.

Oh, and it wouldn’t surprise me if Angelina had literally NO opinion of Amal in general. And it wouldn’t surprise me if Amal had been trying to befriend Angelina for months. Remember, Amal went to the Summit on Sexual Violence in Conflict that Angelina organized last year. Amal was trying to throw herself in Angelina’s path and it seemed like Jolie just ignored her.

It is great he went to the Whitney!
I understand it has relocated to the meatpacking district?
Inspires me to go a museum nearby me today, locals can go for free on Thursdays and I have not been in ages. Thanks for covering, and thanks Brad!

  2. Kiddo says:

You forgot the ‘storming out’ part, Kaiser!

‘I hate you! Drop dead!’ Is Radar so desperate that they are hiring 9 year olds to write articles now? This is hilarious.

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

It was hilarious. Who writes this crap?

      • Aussie girl says:

I think they forgot ,” I hate you, drop dead” & then he ran to his room slamming his door and throwing himself on his bed. Oh wait that was me when I was 14 and my mum wouldn’t let me get my fringe permed ( thank god).

      • Christin says:

I imagine him saying it while angrily pointing, as his movie character Tristan did to his older brother.

      • Birdix says:

And you’re not invited to my birthday party! With or without your stupid tequila!

    • Esmom says:

Seriously. Sounds like they’re bypassing j-school for aspiring writers and looking to pre-schools. Might as well start ’em early!

    • Bridget says:

“Angie thinks that Amal is ‘putting on airs'”.

It’s like I’m in the room with them.

      • Liberty says:

HAHHAHHAA gasping HAHAHAHHAHAH “like I’m in the room w them”

        *falls over dead*

    • belle de jour says:

It’s because George will never, EVER understand him! He just doesn’t get it. At all.

    • littlestar says:

I actually burst out laughing at that. It’s too perfect!

    • laura in LA says:

I love this story, and I believe all of it, that is, up until the part where Brad cries, “I hate you, drop dead!”

At that point, though, I think we have ourselves the makings of a pretty epic bromance movie, no?

  3. bettyrose says:

I can’t imagine AJ having time for anything but indifference to Amal, but I totally buy that Brad & George were one-upping each other for the rights to a do-gooder film.

    • FLORC says:

      Bettyrose
It’s hilarious, but in some form I wish it was sort of true.

And yes. Amal and Angie are so busy. When the ind is occupied who has time to dwell on petty thoughts.

    • Bellejar says:

Bettyrose, I agree. I don’t think Ange even has time to give thoughts to Amal.
I do think Amal would drool at a chance to be around Ange though, because Amal certainly looks like she loves Hollywood lately, mired carpets, meeting Julia Roberts and hanging on her hubby’s film sets and even bringing family.

I never believed that Brad and George were much in the way of friends, mouth I do think George has a sort of man crush on Brad.

  4. klein says:

I’d guess that 95% of this is just made up speculation.

    Fun though

  5. Rosalee says:

I can’t erase an image of a sobbing Pitt burning Clooney photos on the beach during a sun set…

    • ncboudicca says:

hahahahaha, my picture was off him digging a hole behind the swing set in the backyard and burying a shoebox full of mementos.

    • j.eyre says:

And there needs to be some mournful ’80s soundtrack playing from a boom box. What do you think -HoJo? Paul Young? Air Supply? I know there’s a glockenspiel involved.

  6. Pinky says:

All this is true…if by true you mean the plot of an episode of Seinfeld.

  7. Catelina says:

Brad yelling ‘I Hate You!!! Drop Dead!!’ To George is hilarious. I think everyone knows at this point that they aren’t the best of friends or whatever some fans may want to believe and mainly just hang out when it’s convenient (ie happen to be at the same place at the same time) but most of this sounds made up.

    • Bridget says:

They’re co-workers, and seem to like each other a reasonable amount for co-workers. Clooney’s actual circle of friends is fancy enough to satisfy the tabloids but apparently it goes against their chosen angle 🙂

  8. RTMS says:

Considering Clooneys latest enviro claptrap got a beat down at the box office maybe he should let Brad take this. I think Brad’s movies are doing a little better these days than Clooneys.

    • MrsBPitt says:

I agree…Clooney hasn’t had a good movie since…..umm,,,,can’t think of one! Oh, Michael Clayton was good and that’s about it! Oh, and the Oceans movies, but I liked those more for Brad and Matt!

    • Lilacflowers says:

Clooney produced Oscar winner Argo and Oscar nominee August: Osage County (I agree that was NOT a good movie but it was Oscar nominated) and he was in Gravity. Gravity and Argo both did pretty well financially.

      • MrsBPitt says:

While Gravity did well financially, I thought the movie was a total bore! And yes, George was one of the producers on Argo, but that movie was Afflecks baby! I know a lot of George’s movies get nominated, but that doesn’t mean they are good. I hated the Descendants…Up in the Air was nominated, too! Another movie I thought was overrated! I guess I’m just not a Clooney fan!

      • Virgilia Coriolanus says:

I’m still stabby about “Argo”. I watched it like six months after the Oscars. While it was a decently made movie, there was nothing about it that screamed OSCAR! except for the fact that the Academy wanted to kiss its own ass for its ingenuity. The only part I was more than mildly interested in was what happened to the middle eastern maid who lied to the militants and said that the diplomats weren’t there.

      • Lilacflowers says:

I’m not a Clooney fan either but not all of his recent work have been failures and he still has clout and Brad has given us such recent gems as The Counselor. They’re pretty much on par business wise. I think Brad is doing much better happiness wise

      • crybaby george says:

Brad didn’t produce The Counselor & had a very small role, but Cormac McCarthy is an acquired taste. The Counselor was 10 times better than No Country For Old Men (another Cormac M story) and that won the Oscar. Fury was amazing- excellent acting (& original) and TYAS a masterpiece- many, many kudos for Brad & everyone involved for getting Solomon’s story told. Yes, Descendants stunk & Argo was good (agree- not “Oscar good”) if you weren’t Canadian- oh, the LIES. The worst though was Monuments Men (hide me Sony/Amy!)- was SO looking forward to that one- bad George. Yeah, it’s George that is always name dropping Brad- for well over a decade now. Both Brad & Angie have great reputations for being kind to others at all levels (cast, crew, wait staff)- on & off set. They never trash anyone or trash other people’s work. The same can’t be said for George, but maybe it’s the booze- Tequila!

      • EN says:

Gravity was a horrible snoozefest, and George gets a lot of credit for that. I though the same about Interstellar and Matthew M. And I am someone who love sci-fi. But George and Matthew are just boring, whatever on-screen charisma they had, they lost it.

      • Carmen says:

I recommend “Gravity” for anyone suffering from insomnia. It literally put me to sleep.

    • Dee Kay says:

I think Pitt has better taste than either Jolie or Clooney in the movies he picks. The last Clooney film I’ve liked (that he either starred in or produced or directed) in the past decade is Gravity. I love Jolie and Maleficent was terrific but I doubt it will last in people’s memories. Pitt, meanwhile, has had a really great run of films over the last ten years, ranging from very good to total masterpieces: Inglorious Basterds, 12 Years a Slave, World War Z, Fury, The Counselor. I’m not saying he was the best part of any of those films (well, I’d say he definitely brought it as the lead in Fury), but those were films he chose to do and all of them were excellent, and two of them will be remembered for as long as people remember films. Jolie and Clooney just don’t seem to have great taste in their projects (and I like them both, so I keep hoping they will pick better movies!!!!).

      • Bellejar says:

Except Angelina Jolie had one of the biggest box office hits ever with her Disney movie, whereas George’s Tommorrowland FAILED miserably lost huge money.

    • pwal says:

It’s also possible that Pitt is more appealing to writers and directors, mainly because he doesn’t try to overshadow them, especially when the final work earn award buzz and nominations. I hoped that HW would follow his cue after 12YAS, but that didn’t happen, as demonstrated by the recent award season (looking at you, Oprah!)

  9. Lucy2 says:

How very melodramatic! And as much as I care about the environment and companies being responsible, the movie they are supposedly fighting over kind of sounds like a snoozer. Plan B usually puts out good films though.
Given her career, I don’t think it’s a stretch to say Amal went to the summit for her own reasons, that have nothing to do with trying to befriend AJ.

  10. Beatrice says:

I can see how it’s possible that Jolie thinks Amal is putting on airs. Angie walks the walk–after all, she makes films, works tirelessly for the UN, and raises 6 kids. Lately, it seems that all Amal’s only “walk” is Pap strolling showing off thousands in designer duds and freshly blown out hair.

    • bettyrose says:

IKR. Does Amal even work any more?

      • Carol says:

She doesn’t have to be in an office to be working. With technology these days, she can basically work from anywhere.

      • V4Real says:

Does Amal even work any more ?

Yep she’s working that pavement during her pap walks.

      • siri says:

@Carol: I believe you still would have to meet your clients once in a while- in person. On the website of her chamber, there’s no news about her work since the Fahmy case (February).. You usually can read there how things are progressing with cases.

      • Virgilia Coriolanus says:

Lol, V4Real. I don’t mind Amal……but I thought she was way more interesting than THAT. The whole purpose of George getting with her was that she was above/not interested in Hollywood, whatsoever. Except she likes the attention. Not even discussing the pap strolls. No one who doesn’t love the attention allows themselves to be continually photographed with the editor of Vogue, John Galliano, and be featured in multiple issues of Vanity Fair….JUST for her wedding. There were at least two completely different sets of pictures in Vanity Fair pertaining to their wedding, and then the wedding itself was highly publicized. It’d be one thing if she already had these relationships with these people, somehow, and because she was “famous” it was being picked up on by more mainstream media (like people calling Liberty Ross a fameho after she and Rupert Sanders separated, for being photographed at parties, premieres…….no one knew who she was, except die hard fans…..now everyone knew her name, and her photos were worth more, imo)…….something about that bugs. But other than that–I don’t hate her, I don’t love her….

I just can’t believe she settled for George. I think she’s really strikingly beautiful, in a very non-bland way (you’ll always remember her face)……and she could’ve landed herself ANYONE. Unless she’s a Caroline Bingley or something.

      • Katherine says:

        “Carol says:
She doesn’t have to be in an office to be working. With technology these days, she can basically work from anywhere.”

Yea, I keep reading this at various sites but it’s far from true when you’re part of a litigation team. As someone mentioned upthread there are in person meetings that go on, brainstroming, strategizing, and all kinds of work that really needs you to be present. Unless she is just some fifth wheel researcher or brief writer.

I think it’s safe to assume she’s not exactly planning on getting ahead in her profession by being a hard working, ambitious lawyer. You cannot do that by phoning it in.

      • claire says:

I’m gonna put out a wild theory here but: 1 or 2 photos a week, capturing a few minutes of her day, doesn’t exactly account for all of her time. How silly to think she doesn’t work based on the photos we see.

      • Bellejar says:

I think Amal’s career now is to pose with George on redcarpets and follow him around on his movie sets as well as take a papz stroll every few days for pr.

  11. Maya says:

George is the one who constantly name drops Brad (even did it last week) for publicity. George is the one who is trying to make it look like him and Amal are the next Brangelina.

To my knowledge Brad has only ever spoken about George if asked directly. Never gives up much only replies to the questions.

Again Brad and Angelina has a close unit of friends who don’t ever talk about them. Their real friends are loyal towards them which had been proven over the years.

I personally think that the media and some haters just cannot handle the fact that even after 10 years together – Brad and Angelina seems happily in love, raising 6 gorgeous children, career has reached its peak, universally admired for their humanitarian work, more and more people are becoming their fans etc. so what do they do? Create bs stories about the couple, their so called friendships, their children etc to try and attack them.

Well thankfully the world has opened it eyes and more people see through the lies and are supporting the couple.

PS: George is in 50s and so is Brad – while George looks haggard these days, Brad looks divine. Kind of shows how happy Brad is with Angelina & Family while George seems to be not so happy.

    • lisa2 says:

Brad does look good here. He stays in great shape. I saw a comment from someone saying he had gotten fat. or out of shape. I don’t see that at all.
Why do Brad and Angie have to be drawn into the George/Amal marriage. Where are the Cindy and Rande stories. They are the BFFs. I don’t see Cindy and Amal hanging out.

  12. Kate says:

Er, Amal was doing her job. She’s attended and participated in dozens of similar summits. It’s not like she randomly showed up to one of Jolie’s premieres.

    • SuePerb says:

Yeah the summit was set up by AJ & William Hague. Amal is on William Hague’s committee for Prevention of Sexual Violence and has been since it was set up in 2012

      • Grace says:

Yeah, there’s no evidence Amal showed up to “throw herself in Angelina’s path.” She works with William Hague too and has for a while. I guess that’s not as interesting as Amal “forcing herself on Angelina”.

      • lem says:

B/C the two can’t both be successful in their own right and GASP actually get along. no no no one is equal to Jolie.

      • Virgilia Coriolanus says:

That’s pretty cool, I remember that she was there–I figured it was for either her job or she was networking…….see I wish George would talk about stuff like THIS/have the PR focus on that, not denying every crap story about Amal, etc.

  13. MrsBPitt says:

    Brad…………”I HATE YOU, DROP DEAD”
    George…….”I HATE YOU FIRST!”
Brad…………”AND I HATE YOUR STINKY WIFE, TOO, AND SO DOES ANGIE”
George…….”My wife’s better than your wife, she’s a lawyer and super, duper skinny”
Brad…………”EEK”…”My wife is a super, duper activist, and waaaaaaaaaay skinnier than Amal”

Angie on the phone….”Hi, Amal, the boys aren’t getting along on their playdate, today, do you think you could come pick Georgie up? I just know Brad is getting ready to cry and run from the room…I hate when he does that!”

That article makes Brad and George sound like five year olds! lol

  14. lisa2 says:

So I guess it is not enough for Angie to hate “EVERYONE” now they have Brad hating too. It seems they have exhausted their stories so now it is The Pitts hate everyone. ‘

Here’s a thought. Maybe nobody hates anyone and are just busy and not BFFs.. shocking but it has been known to happen

  15. Shambles says:

In a way, I’m kind of grateful for George Clooney. No, I’m not high, hear me out here. One of last week’s stories had the press asking him about babies, and now the tabloids are pitting him against his male counterparts. George Clooney is inadvertently blazing the trails for gender equality! You go, honey.

    • Palar says:

      LOL! Love it, yes!

    • Emma - the JP Lover says:

      @Shambles …

      🙂

      🙂

    • belle de jour says:

      It’s inspiring, really.

But do you think all these extra expectations and judgements make him look fat?

    • LAK says:

Brad is still ahead of him there. Brad is one of the few male stars whose looks are scrutinised like a female star.

People make comments, even on this thread, about how he looks, whether he has aged, how much better he looked years ago, how he is an old man now blah, blah, blah.

This has been going on since he burst on the scene.

GC has just started getting this type of coverage from media and fans alike.

  16. Jayna says:

“I hate you. Drop dead.” Where do these gossip rags get these phony journalists?. I could concoct a better “this week’s” jaw-dropping story that at least sounds more credible. Like Brad is even that type of person to talk to someone like that or hate someone.

  17. Catelina says:

Nice pictures btw, he’s back in LA now for Shiloh and Angelina’s birthdays presumably. Those clothes look really good on him.

  18. Miss M says:

We all know the fight started because they wanted to rent the same guy…

Ps: AJ and BP have 6 kids, do you think they have time to even think about arguing with a colleague?

Pps: didnt George praised BP as a producer in One of the late night shows while promoting his marriage? ( i meant to say tomorrowland not marriage)

    • Catelina says:

I heard he mentioned something about his pranks on Brad on one of the shows, maybe there was more though.

  19. lower-case deb says:

eavesdropper should stay until the end. obviously it was “i hate you, you drop dead gorgeous george, come to whitney with me? *googly eyes* *wink nudge*”

  20. stargazee says:

There’s just something about his body shape that I find so attractive, maybe the shoulders or the way he carries himself. This guy is nearly twice my age and I would.

  21. Claire says:

Why does he travel so much? We have pictures of him leaving or arriving at LAX in February 28, march, 6, April 10, May 15 and May 27. That s a trip per month. He was shooting a movie in April I guess but some of those trips are to France. I know the guy have a Chateaux in France, but I doubt he has to check the vineyards every month. Well probably he goes to see some art, like the David sculpture or something like that. The other weird thing is that he always travels alone while his wife always goes with a child or two. There is something wrong with those “Couple dynamics” Just saying.

    • Jesmari says:

Claire, I don’t usually defend Brad or any other man that dates underage girls (Juliette Lewis), but his travels don’t seem weird. He is an actor and he owns a production company. He probably has business meetings all over the world.

He probably doesn’t take the the kids because he is on business. The trips I see with Angie and the kids look like fun trips. Either the point of the trip it to take the kids somewhere fun, or it is a business trip where she has a lot of down time to spend with the kids. I think their marriage is probably fine.

    • roses says:

Saw on another site he was in NY for 2 days for his film the Big short. Seems they wrapped up on production. He’s a producer on the film so it seems that’s why he was there.

      • Claire says:

Ok. With Brange is always the paradise for their fans. It doesn’t seem very human. We will see what the future will bring.

    • Colette says:

Brad went to NYC Sunday night and was back in LA Tuesday night( May 26).He is a producer, an actor, he has MIR, the winery, etc so has many reasons to take short business trips.I am curious do you keep track of other celebs’ trips? When Brad fails to see his wife and kids for months not days I will be concerned.

      • Claire says:

Why does he never travels with one of his children while she always do that ?Except when she goes to Syria and those dangerous places. Can you also answer to that question?

      • lisa2 says:

Claire he has traveled a lot with his kids.. He took Pax to Australia, Maddox to NYC, Washington, the girls to Russia and so on. I don’t find it so strange at all. If he travels with the kids the first thing people rant about is how they don’t let the kids stay in one place. OR why are they not in school. I don’t see that with the Beckham kids who travel with their parents. Nothing strange at all. I guess you missed all those times with him and his kids.

      • Emma - the JP Lover says:

        @Claire …

I’ll just add to what @Colette wrote by saying that Brad was probably shopping for a unique, special gift for his wife’s upcoming 40th birthday. 🙂

    • Peggy says:

A smart business man always checks his business and yes the family that run the Winery, says he comes every month.

  22. Peggy says:

The tabloids need to stop pushing Brad and Clooney are best mates, not even when they were making Ocean’s 11, 12, 13.
As someone said earlier, George name drops Brad all the time, Brad is the opposite, unless he is asked about George, he’ll just answer the question and adds nothing.
Couples with kids usually hang out with other parents, except George’s buddies Rande and Cindy.
George and his PR is selling a load of BS about Amal as this top Barrister, the woman is in her fourth year of practicing law. She is a junior at her Chambers and they’re not above using her for publicity.
Notice the few times she is leaving the Court House they’re usually two or four older men behind her, that are doing the heavy lifting.

    • kai212 says:

SO true- unlike George, who is recalling pranks from years ago, David Oyelowo and Jack Black* hung out with Brad & Angie & with all their CHILDREN recently. I guess David & Jack weren’t exciting enough for these “journalists” or having fun with families doesn’t fit the evil, lying narrative.

*ice cream party & Easter egg hunt

    • lem says:

She’s in her 13th year practicing law. She passed the NY bar in 2002 and then in England in 2010. A firm such as the one she works for would not employ her if she weren’t carrying her weight (and then some). You don’t have to like George but there is no reason to belittle her career just because some find her resume more impressive than Jolie’s (not to belittle Jolie’s).

      • noway says:

Not belittling her at all here, but she doesn’t work for a law firm. She belongs to the Doughty Chamber in the UK. Which means in US terms she has a contracted/1099 position, not regular employee. This means two things, first she is paid and contracted by the case, and she can be hired to work on as few or as many cases as she probably wants. As far as the thought they wouldn’t keep her if she wasn’t carrying her weight, that is a very American law firm idea not a chamber since you aren’t paid if you don’t work on a case. I think she keeps her reputation with academic stints at Columbia Univ. and perhaps task initiatives she is involved in.

  23. Nicolette says:

It’s nice that Brad stops and takes pics with the fans.

    • Esmom says:

I thought the same thing, he’s a good sport. Never in a million years would I have the courage to ask him for a photo, even if he was standing two feet away from me.

      • nicole says:

I was in Italy a couple of years ago, actually it was Lake Como, no I didnt see George but I did see Ethan Hawke. I was with my mum and he was across the street , anyway we ended up folliwing him down the street, he was there with his kids and nanny, at one stage he looked around and I think he realised we knew who he was and he gave us a smile, at this stage my mum told me to go ask him for an autograph but i couldnt, then she was going to do it but I wouldnt let her, it just seems unfair to annoy him when hes on holiday with his kids. I must say he was very goodlooking and very tall.

      • Esmom says:

Interesting, I always imagined Ethan Hawke as little, not tall at all. I have run into a couple celebs in my life…Morrissey, Rupert Everett are the two “biggest” ones…but have always “played it cool” and not approached them. My husband once sat near Heidi Klum at a restaurant while out at a business dinner in LA. He said everyone was chattering about her presence but no one approached her.

  24. Shelley says:

yawn…not everyone worships at the altar of Brangelina. I dont think Amal cares that much tbh.
As for Brad and George…George was probably upset because he thought he was Brad’s only lover and Brad told him to get lost.

    • Tarsha. says:

Yawn not everyone worships at the altar of the Haters of Brangelina either.

      • curiouser1 says:

Yawn, not everyone who fails to be impressed by Brangelina are ‘haters’.

      • Tarsha says:

Yawn, most of them are that’s just fact. When they attack anyone who even DARES to defend them on anything, that is a clear sign of a Hater. It is what it is.

    • lem says:

This. It’s like you can’t be impressed by Amal’s work (and yes, she does work–take a gander at her wiki page) without it somehow detracting from Jolie’s work.

  25. Nayru says:

I think this will be the funniest snarkiest story today. There are already quite a few gems.

  26. Mispronounced Name Dropper says:

It’s probably because they see themselves in each other.

  27. serena says:

LOL, please Kaiser just write a Brangelina fanfiction XD!

  28. hd99 says:

I know you did not ask if we would, but I would hit it hard

  29. kri says:

Oh my god, Becky. “I hate you. Drop dead.” LMAO. “Give me lawyer in the rain forest movie back!! ‘”No, I saw it first-it’s miiiiine”!! “Is NOT” “Is TOO”!! Then what? They run home and rage in their Slam Books? Oh, this was good after all of the Duggar sludge.

  30. moon says:

Amal and Angie have a very similar look come to think of it

  31. chaine says:

The ponytailed lady with her back to the camera looks kind of like Jennifer Anniston out jogging, no? Surprised the photo did not spark a tabloid headline. Tragic Jen Begs Brad “Come Back!” After Justin Dumps Her for Rent Boy.

  32. moira says:

I am no fan of george or Amal, but to say she showed up at the summit to befriend Angelina is laughable.
Amal is a respected woman in her own right like alot of other women. Why would she so desperately want to be friends with her? As mentioned by previous posters, she was a member of william hagues commitee since 2012.
A little bit of perspective and unbiasedness when reporting anything to do with Angelina would be refreshing. Angelina is doing wonderful work and i respect her for it, but there is no need to judge every other woman against her, with your rose tinted glasses because they will always come up short.
I think if Amal was a cat she would lick herself but there can be no faulting her achievements in her career. Painting her as Angelinas deranged stalker is just ridiculous. She is acomplished in her own field, as is Joile and was there for her own reasons.

    • Jo 'Mama' Besser says:

For real. Trying to throw herself in her path? Getting rebuffed because she doesn’t walk on water, too (as some believe)? Based on what?

    • Guesto says:

      @Moira – well said.

    • Tarsha. says:

It seems to be the other way around, to me. Anti-Angelina tabloids (98% of them) appear to pit Angelina against other women, to make it look like Angelina is jealous and to justify the anti-Angelina agenda. All of these stories make Angelina out to be aloof, jealous and nasty. None of them are doing her a favour, they use anyone from Amal to Stacey Keebler (?) to make Angelina look like the bad guy. Unbiased reporting when it comes to Angelina would be refreshing but its never going to happen because the tabloids have a need to paint Angelina as the villain, at every single turn.

  33. The Original G says:

Well, it was very awkward when Brad and George called out for a rent boy and Justin Theroux showed up……

  34. Laura says:

I thought Amal attended the summit to listen to the stories of the women who were sexually assaulted and to take notes about this topic from people who experienced sexual violence first hand and study the situation on hope of finding a proper solution. I thought the rest of the lawyers, social workers, and activists were there for the same purpose too, not to take selfies and autograph from Angelina. If the latter was the purpose of the people there, then it makes me think how effective is the celebrities presence.

And if you guys meant that Amal was only there to get closer to Angelina and that’s why she was appointed on Hagues panel years ago, then i’m not sure what to tell you.

    • Lorenzo says:

That’s why she was dressed in red all over to get more attention from the people who experienced sexual violence and to remind them of their blood and the atrocities that happened to them?

Very sensitive choice of colour and clothes for this event, at least nobody could oversee her.

      Puke.

      • Grace says:

I don’t understand this. Is there a rule on colors people can wear to a summit? How would the color remind them of what happened to them? This seems like a reach.

  35. Jo 'Mama' Besser says:

Maybe they can’t handle the stench and it’s causing confusion.

  36. LA Juice says:

“George has been leaking try-hard all over the place and it’s getting embarrassing” ah, good times. I too am getting the “Cruise on a Couch” vibe from George as of late. I tried to chalk it up to a “give ’em more than they want and maybe the’ll leave you alone” strategy, but George has to be smarter than that, it will never work, Just ask E.Taylor, M.Jackson, Cruise, and Princess Di

  37. siri says:

The Clooney residence at dawn. George sitting in the kitchen, downing Casamigos, without ice, talking to himself. Amal, in a Chiambattista Valli Satin Moonlight Nightgown floats into the kitchen while George is mumbling: “Let’s sue Brad!” Amal: ” I was thinking of ordering a second one, in canary yellow, what do you think?” George: “Brad stole my Jungle Book!!” Amal: ” Poor baby, do you want to read my Vogue instead?” George: “Film rights, Amal, RIGHTS!” Amal: ” Oh my gawhd! I’ll call mom, and she’s gonna tell DM, and they’re gonna tell the whole world that book belongs to YOU!”……ok, I don’t think Jolie/Pitt have a lot of time left for/any interest in anything Clooney. They lead an active, creative, and busy life, and their circle of friends seems to be outside of the business, or at least not ‘famous’. I’m sure there’s some truth to the idea that George might not have been delighted about the rights to this book going Pitt’s way. But I’m also sure the author of the book did choose the (film) idea/offer that comes closest to his own understanding of the circumstances.

  38. Lorenzo says:

    Team Brange 🙂

  39. maggie says:

I don’t see the attraction. The guy in the blue shirt is better looking in my opinion. At the very least he doesn’t wear a goofy looking dirty hat!! Amal is the real deal, Angie not so much. A recent article says the Jolie/Pitt charities are floundering because no one is administering them.
Tabloid BS as far as the hate goes.

  40. Jib says:

As much as I think Amal is a fame-monger, Angelina is really not in the same class as she is. Amal finished college, went to law school, clerked for a woman who is now a Supreme Court judge, and did legal work, even if it’s not the same level as the work she claims to have done.

Angelina has had an OK film career, is not well educated in comparison, wore vials of her husband’s blood, publicly made out with her brother, and has cleaned up her act and tried to sanitize her image by doing some good works, although I don’t think she does anything like her fans claim she does, just like Amal in that way. But if anyone feels insecure and inferior, I would put my money on Angelina. People are intimidated by well-educated, intelligent people, and there have been stories about AJ feeling insecure in that area anyway.

And Brad yelling at Clooney!!! Hilarious, but I doubt it!!

    • Tarsha. says:

Here we go with the standard form list stuff against Angelina. Must we go through it again every time? Firstly lets get the education issue out of the way before getting onto the c/p form list bs. Angelina has real world expertise and education, Amal only has text books. Angelina has served on committees, addressed the UN, written a book and an OpEd. She graduated high school a year ahead of her peers. She is articulate and smart.
Now, she did not wear a vial at all (now all of a sudden it is vial(s) plural? the tales about her get more exaggerated each time) – she wore a teeny tiny pinprick in a locket pendant.
She gave her brother a quick greeting kiss on the lips, there was no ‘making out’,
and since she has never apologised for her past, and still claims to be a bit wild, that is at odds with the notion that she did it to ‘sanitise’ an image that she is neither ashamed of, nor has ever apologised for.
As for insecure, where the hell did that come from?!??!? Need I remind you, that we are talking about a woman who doesn’t give a shit what is said about her, and NEVER addresses any criticism, nor does she change her behaviour if she has been criticised. Angelina is not a fashionista. She dresses how she wants, not according to fashion. She cares nought about what people think of her. She has never once, not once, responded to criticisms of her. That also, is at odds with an 'insecure' person. Angelina is probably the least likely Hollywood celeb to be insecure, and the only 'stories' about her like that have been tabloid rubbish that haters swallow despite the fact that her devil-may-care attitude and quiet dignity and never responding nor caring, about any criticism, not even Sony leaks, shows she is a very secure and self-esteemed woman. A person who is insecure will attempt to look the best, be the best, will whinge about any criticism and respond to any and all criticism. Does Angelina? NO. She clearly couldn't give a flying flock what people think of her dress sense, nor what they think of her personally. She has never once addressed any criticism of her, personal-wise or otherwise. She brushed off Sony. She is very obviously grounded and very secure in herself, and this is more than obvious, so please quit the far out bs.

      • neer says:

        Very well said.

      • lisa2 says:

They have had the same list for over 11 years. Bring up the same things over and over. Take away their top 3 and what do they have? Nothing. And according to them she is the dumbest person in the world. You don’t have to got to college to be educated. If College was the tent pole of intelligence then we wouldn’t have so many uneducated, educated people. She works hard to learn about issues and makes changes in the lives of so many. Just because she doesn’t have a law degree doesn’t mean she is less than someone that does. She has met with Kings, Queens. Presidents, Popes.. and has handled herself in situations that others couldn’t . She has the respect of people all over the world and can walk into most situations and command the room.

Being a lawyer doesn’t make you better than anyone else. Good for her and her success.

      • Nancy says:

OK, so I want the guy who went to some conferences to talk about the brain to do brain surgery on my child as opposed to the person who put in the time and got an education. That you equate Jolie’s few years learning about world issues to a trained lawyer is absurd and makes me realize that there is no talking to one who is blinded by adulation.

By the way, you know all these things about her because you are friend? That she doesn’t care what’s said about her? That she doesn’t care about fashion? How happy she must be that her good friend Tarsha defends her!

And being a lawyer doesn’t make you better than anyone else, but it does make you more disciplined to go through the rigor and it makes you WAY more educated than Jolie. I don’t know her, but I bet she feels insecure due to her lack of a formal education. Such fan girl worship!

      • Kylie says:

What about YOU? How do you absolutely know that Angelina feels insecure due to her lack of formal education? Are you her friend? Or live with her/near her?
        Such celebrity hatred!

Also, Amal is not a brain surgeon. So, no. None of us would take our children to her to do brain surgery on, you included.

      • Tarsha says:

Nancy if she cared, then she would answer all the criticism. She never does. Therein, is the proof. My post stated that already. It appears that you yourself are not educated enough that you could not read what I already said. That you think a law degree makes you smart about world issues, when all it is, is a piece of paper to practice in a court, shows that there is no reasoning with such blind hatred as you. You are beyond reasoning with. A lawyer is trained in law for their country. Not world issues. Angelina is trained in diplomatic corps, ie world issues. Would you go to a local lawyer for information on world diplomacy? Or would you go to a UN Envoy? Answer that without blind hatred.

      • Jib says:

I want the educated lawyer, who is involved in world events, to give me information, not the movie star who dabbles in diplomacy. I don’t hate AJ, I don’t know her, you seem to think that if one doesn’t blindly worship her, one hates her. Such obsession for someone who you will never meet and if you did, she wouldn’t give one second of thought about you. Sad.

And BTW, I’m not a lawyer, but yes, I do have a graduate degree and I think they mean something.

    • Jadzia says:

Can I just interject something, as a person who HAD a federal appellate clerkship? Amal Clooney was a STUDENT law clerk for Sotomayor. That is basically like being an extern. While it’s not a position that is given to dummies, it is not the same thing AT ALL as being a “LAW CLERK!!!!” for a federal appellate judge.

I clerked on the 9th Circuit, which is very competitive, but for a relatively conservative judge (which for many people =less desirable), and we got 700 applications for the next year’s clerkships (4 positions), almost all of them from people at the top of their classes at Ivies and similar schools. A judge like Sotomayor, who was a rock star, probably would have gotten 1500. The level of competition for a “student” clerkship (which is basically a part-time, unpaid job) is not the same thing at all–it doesn’t have the same meaning in the legal profession.

      • siri says:

Thank you, that is indeed interesting. Like quite a few other details on her CV, this one was doctored as well, and for people not familiar with the legal profession/positions, it’s almost impossible to distinguish.

    • Lady D says:

“People are intimidated by well-educated, intelligent people” Actually, some of us are turned on by well-educated, intelligent people.

  41. Tracy says:

I just wish we would all get past the male fashion trend of the Little Stupid Hat. I’m so sick of seeing these dorky little fedoras on guys all trying to look like hipsters. Die, Little Stupid Hats, die.

  42. Lorenzo says:

    @ Grace

My post was about sensitivity according to the contents of the summit.
    Of course you cannot understand.

Sometimes people tend to dress a little more modest, because it’s not all about them or to be seen.

Sensitivity is a good thing, some people got it, some have a lack of it.

Obviously you and Amal belong to the second category.

  43. Kaianne says:

Lies and more lies. I think this story has been manufactured by someone. People no longer bites with love triangle story between Brad, Jennifer and Angie, so they have to create another story.
Two weeks ago it was about Julia Roberts hated Amal, now Amal and Angelina hates each other. Brad vs Clooney. What next?

    • siri says:

It keeps them in the news, keeps us reading and commenting. The motto is:”Even bad PR is PR!” Who’s making all this up? I noticed that Baria, Amal’s mother, does NOT own her PR company anymore. She had a company registered in London, Media Services Syndicate Ltd., Buckinghamshire. It’s dissolved. Later on, she was one of two owners of Globell Communications, offering services to people in the entertainment business, and very prominent on their website. Not anymore. I also noticed a change in George’s PR, and even though I doubt he fired Stan Rosenfield, there’s a definite focus on Amal now…

      • Kaianne says:

There was a whisper of George Clooney going to enter politics. Maybe the PR machine working overtime to push Amal into limelight so people will recognize her, the educated trophy wife of George Clooney.
