Josh Hartnett is expecting his first child with English girlfriend Tamsin Egerton

In some photos of Josh Hartnett and his girlfriend Tamsin Egerton, I’m like, “Is he dating Karlie Kloss?” But in other photos, she looks nothing like Karlie. Tamsin has a chameleon quality, is what I’m saying. Anyway, Josh and Tamsin have been together for years now – we started getting photos of them back in 2013, but sources say they’ve been together since 2012. Tamsin is an English actress – you may have seen her in…?? I looked at her IMDB and nothing stood out, so I’m sorry if I’m offending any Tamsin-loonies. Anyway, Tamsin and Josh are together and very happy. So happy, in fact, that they’re expecting their first child together. Yay!

Josh Hartnett is going to be a dad. The “Black Hawk Down” star’s girlfriend, English actress Tamsin Egerton, is pregnant, his rep confirms to Page Six: “It’s true and they are beyond thrilled.”

The pair reportedly met in 2011 on the set of “The Lovers,” but started dating in 2012. The flick was released in February. Hartnett, 36, who currently stars on Showtime’s “Penny Dreadful,” recently sold his Minneapolis home for $2.3 million. He previously dated Scarlett Johansson and Amanda Seyfried.

[From Page Six]

I don’t have any shade for this. There really hasn’t been much scandal with Josh or with this relationship. He’s 36 years old, she’s 26. While a decade is still a significant age difference, it’s not insurmountable or gross. Josh still gets some loonies, and I suspect there will be a few bitter tears about this. Even though… really, Josh is barely a celebrity at this point. He gives like one major interview a year and while those annual interviews always make headlines, Josh is pretty much now just a cable TV actor. Let’s wish him well. It seems like he and Tamsin are very happy.

He does exist! I forgot all about this guy.

    • islandwalker says:

He is one of the actors in Penny Dreadful on Showtime.

    • LeAnn Stinks says:

He has been starring on the Showtime series “Penny Dreadful” for the last couple of years. It’s a great show and Josh does a nice job of playing the Wolfman.

  2. SK says:

I thought I knew some of her roles, then I realised that was actually Tamzin Merchant! Oh well, congrats to them! I used to loooooove him. Still think he’s pretty hot!

    • Franca says:

She was in Camelot and Love Rosie. She was okay, but nothing special. She is stunning, though. Really beautiful.

  3. Lucy says:

    What happened to his career?

    • Mia4S says:

He’s been candid that he wasted his opportunities. He moved to Minnesota or something and refused or refused to read for some big roles.

I don’t blame him for turning down Superman at the time. He does say he regrets that he took himself out of the running for Nolan’s Batman. He thought it would be a bad career move and would typecast him. Then Christian Bale played it, made millions and won an Oscar. Yeah I can see he might second guess himself after that.

      • Bridget says:

I thought that was really interesting. He just made what turned out to be some very bad decisions when it came to his career, and simply didn’t realize that some of those opportunities weren’t going to come around again. That saying “no” ended up closing some doors. Hollywood is a fickle place.

**cough** see comments below…there’s some speculation of CO$ influence, either damage or payoff

  4. sassy says:

    First child **cough Suri cough**

    • Kaiser says:

I thought Chris Klein was Suri’s daddy??? 😀

      • Miss M says:

There is also speculation that could be Josh (She dated him after her engagement with CK ended and 2 weeks before she announced she was dating TC). Suri does look like him a bit… But they all have some similar features.

I used to have a major crush on him in the late 90’s!

      • Plain Jane says:

I always thought he was a strong contender for being Suri’s dad. I think Katie dumped him really quickly. And no real date was given for Suri’s birth, so we really couldn’t do the math to figure out the baby daddy. It was more of a, ‘You get the mirrors, I’ll grab the smoke machine, surprise it’s TC’s baby!’ kindof a thing.

But none of it really matters anyway. I hope he is happy and in a good place with this relationship and a new baby on the way!

      • qwerty says:

She looks nothing like Josh H. I think he’d make a pretty baby regardless who you’d mix him with and Suri’s not a particularly pretty kid.

  5. Aila says:

Good for them! He is great on Penny Dreadful.

    • j.eyre says:

He is great, the rest of the cast is great, the show is great – I cannot understand why PD does not have a following akin to GoT? Season 2 has been amazing.

      (and congrats to the couple)

      • LeAnn Stinks says:

I agree j.eyre. Dare I say, I actually like “Penny Dreadful” better than “Game of Thrones,” especially this season.

Eva Green is amazing as Ms. Ives and is my favorite on the show, but they are all good. The monster’s poetic way of speaking is almost as beautiful as Reeve Carney’s face. 🙂

      • grace says:

Hear Hear! Penny Dreadful is such a mind blowing show! I started watching it with scepticism, as it was too “supernatural”, but the acting is amazing, the chemistry between the cast is great and… I don’t know, I’m just disappointed people don’t really pay too much attention to it. It’s a pity!

        And Eva Green… swooooooon!

  6. Bea says:

She had one of the less offensive model-to-actress transitions and was quite good in The Look of Love. Congrats about the baby, they both seem like nice, quiet people.

  7. Mollie says:

She’s pretty, giving me a Natasha Richardson vibe, which made me nostalgic. 🙁

  8. Ferdinand says:

I’m still on the “Suri is Josh’s daughter and Scientology has everything to do with him going under the radar for a bit” wagon.

On the other hand, I’ve always admired his boho-hipster sense of fashion. I do think he should be given more credit for this, than say, Ryan Gosling or so.

  9. Debra says:

he may just be a ‘cable tv actor’ .. but Penny Dreadful is fantastic, and he is fantastic in it.

    • qwerty says:

There’s a sh!tload of actors who struggle all their lives to make it, he hit it big at a young age, got set for life (2,3 mln house etc) and now has a steady job that surely doesn’t pay badly compared to most actors’…. I’d say he’s doing fine. Must be hurtful to his ego knowing he was once the star and now people barely remember him except for hardcore fans but really, once you get over that you;ve got nothing to complain about imo

  10. Saks says:

I like Tamsin, I saw her in St Trinians (which is a movie I remember because it is not common at all that those kind of British films are released in Mexico).

About Josh, I remember everyone had a major crush on him in the early 00’s, but I never founded him attractive, I like him tho.

  11. Kdub says:

As a self confessed josh-loonie, he is not some cable TV actor a) penny dreadful is amazing. B) Eva green is his on screen counter part; is she also only a cable star c) boy can act, still hot (hair needs work but still) and d) all money isn’t good money.

  12. Hannah says:

Poor girl. He films Penny Dreadful here in Dublin and he is a dog when she isn’t with him. Way too small a city for that shit not to come back and bite him in the arse.
