There were rumors about Drake and Serena Williams back in July. Drake arrived in London for Wimbledon, and he really only seemed to care about Serena’s matches. When reporters asked Serena about her relationship with Drake, she reportedly rolled her eyes. She told another reporter that Drake was like a brother to her. Do you make out with her brother? Because Serena and Drake were in Cincinnati over the weekend and TMZ got their hands on some blurry photos of Drake and Serena getting SUPER friendly – go here to see.
Serena was in Cincinnati for the WTA tournament (which she won) and Drake was probably just there to spend time with his lady. The photos were from Serena and Drake’s post-victory meal at a fancy Italian restaurant. They were with other people, doing tequila shots and having fun. But the whole time, Serena and Drake “couldn’t keep their hands and lips off of each other … while several patrons watched.” E! News’ sources say that Drake and Serena have been happening for about a month, which lines up with Drake’s appearance at Wimbledon – that might have been the beginning of something. That was when he worked his way into her heart (again?). E! News also says that “their budding relationship is very new and the duo does not yet have a title, but Drake has always been a big fan of Serena and she is very much his type.”
I’ll admit it, I dismissed this speculation last month, mostly because I was pretty sure Serena was still bangin’ Patrick Mouratoglou. Even at the post-Wimbledon dinner, Serena was happily posing with Patrick and he’s been all over her Instagram for months. Maybe they split up but still remained friends. Or maybe Drake homewrecked her relationship! In any case, good for them. I’m glad to see Drake managed to get out of Permanent Friendzone. Also, TMZ says that Serena and Drake broke up in 2011 because he was spending time with other ladies, but now he’s much more focused on Serena.

Not bad. They are both adults and know what they want.
That being said Drake seems to me like the kind of guy that is in a relationship just for the sake of being in one. The guy who has a definite type even when it doesn’t work out often. The guy who loves women and has lots of female friends with some as FWB and who is charming enough to get along with them all. The happy-go-lucky dude who can break up with any girl amicably but finds it difficult to stick to one for a long time.

Good observation! Serena doesn’t even go into post-match conferences without showering and doing herself up. She is a major fashionista and girl loves to look her best.
As for Patrick, I always thought it was an odd romantic pairing. She is very on/off about her personal life.
Her tennis apparel for the last tournament in Cincinnati was pink and green with a black skirt. She appears to be wearing white in these pictures with Drake.
I don’t believe any of this. The word in the tennis world is that she has been with her “coach” Patrick Mouratoglou & has been for quite awhile. During Wimbledon coverage Chris Evert (who has know her since she was 7) made the comment that Serena was playing so well because she is happy & then said Patrick makes her happy.

I think drake likes to think of himself as a romantic, but in reality he can’t maintain a monogamous relationship for a decent amount of time because he can’t keep it in his pants. He seems like those nice guy types who complains of being “friend zoned” but when he finally gets the girl she couldn’t live up to his idealized version of her.
Love it. They’ve been good friends for awhile and they seem to have a mutual attraction. If this on again off again type relationship works for them then who am I to judge.
