Calvin Harris will sue you if you say he got a happy-ending massage, bye bye

Weeks ago, a photo agency offered up some exclusive photos of Calvin Harris entering a Thai massage parlor in LA. Gawker did some analysis of the place and from what they could tell, it was a totally legitimate massage parlor, not some sketchy rub-and-tug joint. Still, I guess Calvin Harris thought the photos looked bad, because many sites ended up taking down the photos after they had been published.

Skip ahead to this past weekend, which is when the British tabloids began claiming that Taylor Swift was enraged at the sight of her boyfriend entering a massage parlor. So enraged, in fact, that she dumped him. Except that didn’t happen – People Magazine’s sources (Calvin and Taylor) assured everyone last night that “They are happy and going strong.” I believe People Magazine. Not that I think Calvin and Swifty are going to be together forever and candy and sparkleponies and TRUE LOVE. I just think that when Swifty and Calvin do break up, it’s going to be epic and we’re going to know about it immediately and it won’t come from some sketchy British tabloid.

As for the massage parlor stuff, Calvin tweeted this:

He sounds… tense. It’s been said that Calvin and Taylor are sort of perfect for each other because they’re similarly successful and similarly melodramatic. Which I think you can see for yourself. I’m also going to wager that they’re very similar in how they obsessively control their images.

Actually thought his tweet was kind of funny? But maybe that’s because I love a good pun…

  2. Lora says:

    What a p***y seriously!

  3. Talie says:

He was an “ugly duckling” at one point, so of course, he’s obsessive about his looks and what he wants to be seen.

  4. Two peas, one pod.

  5. lurker says:

He’s such an immature little brat.

  6. Jess says:

I think that the defamation of character he implies is not because of the break up rumors, but it makes it look as if he was involved in prostitution basically. So I kinda see where he is coming from

    • ladysussex says:

Yeah in fact I go regularly to these Thai massage places and they are really not sketchy at all. Of course I am female, but still! I think any man photographed going in or coming out from a legitimate massage place is going to have all this kind of speculation. Kind of sad.

    • Saphana says:

true but celebs cant win such a case in the united states, they dont have enough rights for that. as a public person you give away those things.

  7. OhDear says:

He needs to realize that people don’t care about him as much as he thinks they do. His reaction seems over the top and just makes the whole thing look much sketchier than it is.

  8. Farah says:

It’s kind of shocking how many people went with the ‘happy ending’ narrative. Racism against Asians is still so accepted. If somebody implied I was using prostitution I would sue for defamation of character too.

    • Jess says:

      +1
I’m surprised at how many people are ignoring this fact

    • OhDear says:

I just think it’s weird because the pictures were from a few weeks ago and he’s only publicly addressing them now. His PR is normally pretty on top of things. He could have just released a statement as soon as they came out saying that he normally does not address rumors about his personal life, but the rumors about his getting “extra service” is untrue and racist against the workers at the place. Instead, his team got all the websites to take the articles down without explanation, which made it look really sketchy when there wasn’t anything sketchy there.

    • nora says:

However, based on the Yelp reviews of the massage parlor it IS actually a “happy ending” type of place…

      • Bea says:

        @nora
No it isn’t. Did you even read the Gawker piece or the reviews or do you just believe everything Radar publishes? The clickbait headline Radar used was that this place comes first when you search yelp for Thai Massage happy ending or whatever, but that’s because somebody wrote specifically in a review that this was NOT a happy ending kind of place.

      • hansy says:

Exactly nora. He us such a child. Bea…gawker literally is where I saw the yelp reviews…maybe you should read something instead of being a self richous witch…

    • Leah says:

Thats a whole different story. Is calvin addressing the racism? No, he is only concerned about his and Taylor reputation. This guy has made racist and sexist jokes before so i am not feeling like he would care about that angle.
I do think that its a bit racist but its also because he’s worth like 60 mill and goes to a massage parlour that looks downmarket. I honestly think if he gone to any massage parlour with a neon light shopfront it would have elicited these type of jokes. And this would have happened to any man in hollywood.

  9. Leah says:

He’s such a bitchy uptight man. Its hilarious!

    • Micki says:

      Isn’t she an uptight bitch?
It’s a match made in heaven.

    • Kosmos says:

He should just ignore it all and get on with his life…..don’t give fuel to the fire. Everyone knows lies exist in the tabloids. He and Taylor aren’t having problems, so that’s all he should be concerned about. I can see why he is upset, so next time, he should have the massage person come to him so he won’t be photographed going into a parlor. Once you’re a celeb, you have no privacy, right? Better get used to it, Calvin….

  10. AG-UK says:

That sounds like something my 14 y/o would say. Just drawing attention to something most would have forgotten already. He can take his acceptable in the 80’s somewhere else.

  11. ria says:

Nice looking body, douchey looking Face.

    Perfect pair.

Top of the World successful, absolutly cheat, fake Vanilla bland.

    World most perfect, BORING Couple

  12. Jayna says:

I thought his tweet was funny, at least.

  13. Saphana says:

i’d love to hear what Taylor said to that on the phone, i dont think she cares at all about men but she certainly cares fanatically about her image.
if this doesnt not go away immediatly Calvin will have to say good bye to her cats and we all can wait for her album about him. Knowing how he reacted with Rita Ora he wont be quiet about it.

  14. Tacos and TV says:

He is so extra to me. I just can’t with him. I also find him to be a bit much. And anyone who dates Taylor Swift Bangs, must have a thing and not a good thing, but a bad bad bad thing.

  15. Armenthrowup says:

and they’re both minimally talented a$$holes.

  16. Hannah says:

He sounds like a camp gay man.

  17. sauvage says:

I would sue, too if anybody accused me of consuming prostitution.

  18. debra says:

Awe! poor wittle Cal-Cal is gonna sue because Tay-tay is embarrassed. Bye Bye…. he sounds like he needs to go have his cookies and kool-aid then take a nap.. isn’t that what they do in nursery school? If I was as rich as this guy.. I’d have someone come to my house if I needed a massage.

  19. Cap London says:

Here he goes again. Very petty bitchy boy. Yes boy.
