I feel like I haven’t written about Jessica Biel in more than a year. How long has it been, really? Let me look… it’s been months. Not since April, which is when Justin Timberlake presented a photo of Justin Timberlake’s wife and baby, Silas Randall Timberlake. Biel sort of lost her identity during the pregnancy because Justin made everything about HIM. Justin Timberlake’s wife was giving birth to Justin Timberlake’s baby. Justin Timberlake made Justin Timberlake’s babymoon all about what Justin Timberlake wanted to do (ski), not about what Justin Timberlake’s pregnant wife wanted to do. Justin Timberlake’s baby announcement even cut Justin Timberlake’s wife’s head out of the photo.
But now that some time has passed, I guess Justin Timberlake’s wife gets to have her identity back, just in time to walk a red carpet so that Justin Timberlake can accept an award. Biel wore this form-fitting Dolce & Gabbana dress to last night’s Fashion Group International Night of the Stars Gala in NYC. Justin was being honored for his brand, William Rast. And Biel got to show off her trim figure. I actually like that she wasn’t in our faces during the pregnancy and afterwards. I actually feel like we haven’t seen her in a while and it’s good to see her out.
You might be wondering, “Wow, how did she get her body back after the baby?” First of all, she’s always been super-fit. She kept in shape throughout her pregnancy and she tweeted about her organic Paleo-inspired diet too. She adheres to Paleta, “a farm-to-table meal delivery service” which provides “3 meals & snacks at my doorstep.” Plus, she does yoga, lifts weights, hikes, does CrossFit, runs, etc. What I’m saying is that it would be shocking if her body did NOT bounce back.

EXACTLY. There’s this strange aura of distance between them that comes exclusively from his side. She seems like a wife, but he doesn’t come across like a husband. I’m doing a lousy job explaining this, I know. But it was always there even when they were dating.
I know just what you mean Sochan. He never looks mentally present when he’s with her, or charmed for that matter. I really think he takes her for granted. Perhaps she’s too much of a doormat? He wasn’t like that with Britney, but she kept him guessing.
@ Ankhel: Good perspective. Britney loved him but didn’t try desperately to please him. She was still very much a down-home country girl then, a bit of a wilding and not easily controlled. These are two VERY different women – both in upbringing, culture, and personality.

I’m in agreement too. Totally a guess, but I’ve always thought she just wanted to be Mrs. Timberlake, and he finally caved in. She gets to have that image, and he gets to have a wife to bring to events when he wants to appear classy. But I can’t picture there’s an actual marriage there. Who knows.
I’ve noticed that there are very very few pictures where he makes eye contact with her in public when he knows the paps are watching. But I don’t think it’s lack of chemistry but the opposite. I think he’s actually very shy when it comes to his genuine personal life. And when you look at the person you’re deeply in love with you can find yourself more vulnerable than when you look at anyone else. I don’t think he’s comfortable putting himself in that vulnerable state while the whole world is taking pictures.
I think it is mutually satisfying to both of them. He gets a gorgeous wife who is devoted to him and his career, and she gets a lovely life with no more stress about working for a living. There you go.
I find it funny that people call their trip to Montana during the winter their baby moon when they are here EVERY single winter and even own a house here. There’s rumors they’re going to raise Silas here too. So let’s stop using that against him.

I had an ass like that once upon a time…hated it so much. Couldn’t fit pants properly and I was so self conscious about it despite boyfriends and then my husband singing its praises. When I lost the baby weight after my first pregnancy, my ass melted away too. Now that it’s gone I realize how foolish I was!! Sniff.
Her ass is truly magnificent. And I have a never ending back. Sigh.

When she started to get super fit for Blade Trinity is when her ass started to round out from weight training and squats. I’m glad she’s one of the actresses that doesn’t want to be super skinny and has curves.

I remember when she dated jeter or a rod (gossip senility is kicking in) and seeing a pic of her on the beach…great ass.

@Artemis, Agreed, she is incredible. Jessica is major “fitso” for me. She is proof that hard work and dedication in the gym can do a body good! I’m a woman and I think she has the best butt on the planet.

Good for her for doing something challenging. So many schools have little to no real sex ed in this country ( coughBristonPalincough), lies are told about planned parenthood and women who express themselves in any sexual way are demeaned and demonized. This can still be a touchy subject and she is 100% committed so good on her.

Then of course the fall-out with Britney and he never missed an opportunity to hose that over and over again. Then the string of women afterwards: Alyssa dumping him, the fall-out with Cameron after a several-year relationship, and then he hooked up with Jessica, could not commit, did not like it when Gerard Butler had the hots for her, and then decided he could hang with Jessica, kept her waiting for a while longer, and then decided to put a ring on it. Pregnancy did awesome things to Jessica’s face. It looks much more proportional somehow. It always bothered me a little before, she was just so plain. Now I think she’s gorgeous.
