Would you ever date a man who famously, unjustly escaped being convicted of killing his wife? Would you continue to stay with this man even after he abused you for 12 years? Well, Christie Prody did. She was delusional enough to think O.J. Simpson was boyfriend material, even after his famous murder trial that revealed all the ugly details of his years of abuse of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown. Well, now Prody is revealing how O.J. abused her as well in a not-so-shocking tell-all book. And guess who’s not happy about it?
O.J. Simpson’s ex-girlfriend has penned a sensational book about her 12 years with the disgraced football great – disclosing a twisted life of drugs, sex, violence and betrayal.
In this steamy tell-all – to be published later this year – 33-year-old Christie Prody lays bare the couple’s private life, beginning with their meeting in Los Angeles in 1996 and ending with Simpson’s jailing for armed robbery and kidnapping last December.
“When O.J. heard Christie was writing the book, he went nuts!” an insider told the Enquirer.
“He was frantic trying to phone her. He wanted to control what she would say and even called her family members. But Christie isn’t pulling punches, and she’s not talking to O.J.”
Prody, who received a mega-bucks book deal, reveals that at the time the two met she was in denial over O.J.’s murder of his ex-wife. He later confessed to her that he killed Nicole Brown, but insisted that Nicole brought it on herself. Christie says 61-year-old Simpson preferred talking about his trial in bed nearly every night after having sex.
Christie fell in love with Simpson and had no fear for her own life.
“When she got pregnant two times in the first five years of their relationship, she had abortions,” disclosed an insider. “O.J. didn’t want any more kids, but he wouldn’t even drive Christie to an abortion clinic.”
The couple’s years together were fueled by booze and cocaine parties, and they even made a sex video. But there were also confrontations that pushed both to the edge, and the Miami police were called to Simpson’s home.
“During one fight, Christie pulled out O.J.’s pistol from a drawer in his nightstand and put it to her head,” disclosed the insider. “She was crying, threatening to pull the trigger.
“On another occasion, Christie kicked Simpson in the groin and dropped him to the floor in a hotel hallway. Police were called.
“O.J. often insulted Christie’s looks in front of his friends, and she would go off on a drug and booze binge to cope with the embarrassment.”
By 2008, Christie wanted to leave but was dug in too deep. “She still enjoyed living with a famous man. She enjoyed the attention,” said the insider.

What attention – the punches in the face? I guess if you’re delusional enough to get romantically involved with a known abuser and suspected killer, the kind of “attention” O.J. showers on you could be construed as positive.
Look, I have no love for O.J. but this woman is an idiot. I can’t see this book doing well. After all, nobody wanted anything to do with O.J.’s book. The public has decided that no one should profit from any aspect of O.J.’s life and that, to me, includes this stupid bimbo. I’m sorry that she had to endure this violence, but come on- did she really think she was going to get anything different than all the other women O.J.’s been with?

Seriously, I call bullsh*t. Where were all of these claims when he was dating her? People like this annoy me to no end. All of this was suppose to have happen while they’re dating. Sure, right. Then why was she still his girlfriend when he was arrested. She was the supportive girlfriend. Now that he’s locked up its as if she said “hmmm, let see how I can milk this for some money and attention?”.
Ugh. Sit down, woman. She’ll move on to Scott Peterson and start sending him letters in jail next.

If she can make some money out of her experiences with this a-hole, why not? Sure she’s trashy, trampy and probably not the sharpest knife in the drawer (pun intended), but most of it’s got to be true. Although MSat has a point that it probably won’t be a big seller. If she donated some of the profits to a women’s shelter, that might help. Time will tell.

Sounds just like this bastard to admit killing his ex-wife, but saying she deserved it. His mother said the same thing. She had deep, multiple stab wounds in her throat and he nearly decapitated her for good measure. He killed Goldman even more sadistically, if possible. I so hate this man.

you know, some people’s issues are subtle so you can’t blame people too badly when they make the poor decision to go out with a faulty human… but there’s no subtlety abotu OJ’s shortcomings… they’re blatant and obvious… so this is one of few cases where i say, she deserves it for being with him… sorry

Actually, the fact that she stayed with OJ for YEARS and didnt leave and write a tell-all, kind of tells it all. She waited until the distance of his arrest gave her courage to understand, reevaluate, lose the fear and then tattle.
