Madonna makes designer friends hire Jesus

Madonna and Jesus are closer than ever, according to Page Six. This, after the couple broke up right before Madonna headed off to Malawi to attempt to adopt Mercy James. When the adoption fell through, Madonna fell back into the arms of Jesus Luz – with perhaps a pit stop into Guy Ritchie’s arms. Some sources even claim that Madonna and Jesus have been inseparable since Madonna fell off a horse in the Hamptons, then blamed the fall on the paparazzi.

So what keeps Jesus and Madonna together? Mutual affection? Love? Contractual obligations? Career advancement? Page Six is making a case for career advancement, but just in Jesus’ case. Madonna has been calling up all of her fashion designer friends, trying to make sure Jesus has enough work to keep him in New York with her:

Thanks to Madonna’s high-powered pals, she isn’t recovering from her injuries alone.

Madge, who recently got tossed from her horse in the Hamptons, has reunited with her Brazilian man-candy, Jesus Luz, and insiders are crediting her friends in the fashion world for it.

Marc Jacobs “wrote a letter of support for Jesus’ work permit” to allow him to stay in the country, said our source. “Marc campaigned for Jesus, saying he is highly talented and a necessity to the label.”

Last week, Women’s Wear Daily reported Dolce & Gabbana’s fall-winter menswear campaign will feature Luz. Our tipster said, “All these fashion lines are hiring Jesus as a favor to Madonna. As long as he can legally work in the US, they can be together.”

Madonna’s rep said she’s “not at all involved in managing the career of Jesus Luz. His Dolce job was arranged through his agents,” and Madonna hadn’t asked anyone to help him. Jacobs’ rep had no comment.

Wow… just, wow. Is Madonna so powerful within the fashion community that she can just call up all of her designer friends, and they’ll hire Jesus for actual campaigns? And Marc Jacobs, personally, wrote a letter to support Jesus staying in-country? Madonna sure is putting a lot of effort into keeping her man-candy permanently at hand. Jesus is also beholden to Madonna in several different ways now – what happens when he pisses her off? Will the modeling contracts suddenly disappear? Will bookers no longer take his calls? And what in the world is Madonna getting out of all of this? The public image of a a fifty-year-old cougar who arranges everything in her boy-toy’s life?

Uh. The answer to that would be yes.

Yes and we should all be afraid of Madge’s power. 🙁

    Madonna disgusts me.

    …it’s “Madame” the blow-up doll.

@ the “wow…just wow” – Hey I had nothing to do with this. Lol. 😉

But this type of stuff goes on all the time. Call it celebrity nepotism, if you will.

It’s not your talent or your beauty in entertainment, it’s WHO YOU KNOW. Those things help , but the doors are held open by connections letting you in. That’s why so many talented people are never discovered. You may start out with none, but nearly everyone I know in entertainment has hustled to meet someone out here who can help you in the door in one way or another.

Madonna “makes” her designer friends hire him? I would believe it if I read that the designers kiss her a** in any manner to get publicity, but this way sounds lame.

Madonna did the Vuitton campaign as a favor to Marc Jacobs. He owes her one.

Besides, having Mr. Madonna in an ad campaign will certainly make people stop and look twice at the advertisers’ products. I know Mr. Halle Berry makes me look twice – then again, he’s gorgeous. But I notice him in a way that I wouldn’t notice an ordinary male model.

And in answer to your question “What in the world is Madonna getting out of it?”, she’s getting what the bad boys in my high school used to call a “hot meat injection.” It’s not the worst reason in the world to call in a few favors.

Oh I think what they are getting out of the relationship is a deep mutual understanding. I see a soul connection here. They probably spend hours discussing literature, works of art, and opera, along with semi-obscure historical events. It’s probably an intellectual connection, along with true lov—

Oh God, I can’t even type that without laughing my ass off.

Madonna is in it for publicity.

Jesus is in it for publicity and a career.

    End.

This woman’s life has become a very sad tale.

    “Pretty Jesus” the movie

  11. DiMi says:

This is getting sad. Does Madonna really have to do this kind of work to get a man to date her? I think she’s still an attractive and interesting woman. I’m sad for her. This is pathetic.

While numerous look to have overlooked the crucial detail of most of it, when it was expressed previous is unimpeded plus dead on. I am avoiding alleging that I harmonize on all details; all the same, I have to admit that you did presented me cause to pause and think of several of the details that I believed that I reserved as unfluctuating beliefs in that regards. Substantially expressed, and it is now time for my own brain to ponder a bit more connected to a few of your outstanding items. In all it’s clear you have written many good points.”
