Kendall Jenner thinks she’s psychic because 7 psychics said she was psychic

If you ever want to think to yourself, “Kim Kardashian and Khloe are geniuses,” just pay attention to Kendall and Kylie Jenner for any amount of time. Kim and Khloe honestly seem brilliant compared to their little sisters. While I think Kylie is powerfully ignorant, Kendall has always seemed more like she’s willfully single-minded. She’s focused on being a model and that’s all she seems to care about. But Kendall has hidden depths, according to Kendall. Kendall is probably psychic. She believes she might be psychic because seven psychics have told her that. You can’t beat that logic, can you? Of course you can’t.

Kendall Jenner opened up about her intuition and ability to trust people on her website and app Tuesday, and let’s just say women’s intuition is totally legit. “I don’t trust people right off the bat, but once you’re in my inner circle, I’m extremely loyal and open—a lot like a cat!” she shared.

Once inside that “inner circle,” however, friends might be able to benefit from one of Kendall’s hidden talents: she’s psychic!

“I swear, I’ve had a keen sense of perception since I was a kid. I’ve just always had really good intuition,” she explained. “I’ve actually even been told by like seven psychics that I’M psychic! There’s a way you learn how to navigate this crazy world, and I really base it on my gut feelings.”

[From E! News]

CB has a notoriously low tolerance for psychics and snake-oil salesmen, but I generally think of psychics as overwhelmingly harmless. Even if the psychics are con men or con women, what’s the worst that could happen? They would incorrectly predict your future? That you would pay them a few hundred dollars to hear something you want to hear? Maybe I have a higher tolerance because my father could read palms (to this day I don’t know if it was real or just a con though). And it sounds like Kendall is spending her money to hear that she’s a little bit psychic, and if she wants to believe that, so be it. But she probably knew that already. KENDALL IS IN YR BRAINZ, READING YR MIND.

She’s not only stupid, shes mean and bratty.

The problem with psychics and healers and other charlatans is that they prey on vulnerable people ( the old, the sick), take their money and screw them over. So I feel sorry for those people.
For the rest, if you’re stupid enough to believe in psychics, you deserve to lose money.

Get ready for it … another business opportunity … Kardashian Psychic HotLine!

    • dAsh says:

I’ve always thought Khloe was the meanest among the KTrash family, but I think Kendall is right up there with Khloe.

    • LadyMTL says:

My dad says that my grandmother used to read tea leaves, and when I gave him my “oh really” look he laughed and said that she would only do it for pregnant women, if they wanted to know the baby’s sex. Apparently the women would come to her, chat / have cookies / drink tea and then my grandma would read the leaves. She never charged them and would only do it if she was asked; supposedly she had a really high accuracy rate.

That said, I don’t believe in the Psychic Friends kind of cr*p, nor that Long Island Medium joke, but I do think that some people are maybe a bit more intuitive than others. Would I ever pay a psychic for anything? No way.

      • swak says:

My mom always seem to know when there was something wrong in the family. Think it was more intuition and observance of how people were behaving than a psychic ability.

      • lucy2 says:

I agree, I think there are some people who are more intuitive or see things differently, but I believe the vast majority of people “working” as a psychic, medium, whatever are charlatans. I’m disgusted by the ones who prey on grieving or suffering people, or who try to become rich and famous from their “gift”.

      • Willa says:

I guess she would have a higher rate. Odds are 50/50!

      • prettylights says:

@swak my Mom too. When someone in our family or extended family is pregnant she knows before they announce it because she dreams about it. She also knows what sex the baby will be and if it will be healthy or not. She also knows when someone will die – she smells flowers out of nowhere. Usually someone in our family dies within a day or two when she smells them.

I have it to an extent but not as strong. The best example is when I was about 12 my cat was missing for a few days. I dreamt about its body lying in a field around our house with its neck snapped and saw it in detail, even saw that its tongue was hanging out. The next day I went to that spot and found his body exactly like in my dream. It totally freaked me out and made me believe. I now pay close attention to any vivid dreams I have and they usually do tell me something, everything from knowing that my sister was depressed/having a hard time when I hadn’t talked to her for a while to knowing that my boyfriend was cheating on me.

Weird stuff, I definitely believe some people are just more sensitive to things – if you pay attention. I wouldn’t even call it being ‘psychic’. I would just call it a sensitivity to things around you.

      • paolanqar says:

        Prettylights

        Oh my god. Me too.
I usually dream the baby and THEN tell the mother.
I dreamt my boyfriend’s sister being pregnant and when I told her so she said it wasn’t possible. Then she took a test and there it was. Positive.
Another time I dreamt of a friend’s pregnancy and i told her about my dream on the phone while apparently she was taking the pregnancy test. I told her it was a girl and 7 months later she named her daughter after me.

I also know when someone dies. I smell flowers out of the blue. A really strong scent of flowers, almost too strong and disgustingly sweet.
When my aunt died, the night before I dreamt of her saying gooodbye to me and telling me she was fine. Also when my grandmother died, she visited me in my dreams the night before she passed away. And also my uncle. He squeezed my arm and told me that he was ok and that all was good. And then at the funeral they were all wearing the same clothes they wore in my dreams.
Spooky. I had no part in dressing them for the service.

Once I dreamt of my brother having a car accident. He was lying on a table at the morgue and his body was covered in bruises and cuts. I was crying buckets until i woke up. He told me he just had an accident but he was ok, it wasn’t injured. But I freaked him out.
My mother always tells me that she hopes I will never dream of her or at least that I would let her know.
I am no psychic but sometimes I am scared of my dreams because I fear they will all get real. Especially when someone I love is not very well I am afraid to dream of them and wake up in tears.

    • vilebody says:

+1. I went to a psychic ladies’ night with my friends (don’t ask–I was forced) and I found it despicable. This guy was giving life advice to women who were clearly in really bad places in their lives, and they were ALL taking it seriously. A lot of these women were crying–they needed serious help, not the vague phony promise that “a better man will show up in a year” or a “new job will be opening soon.”

      • Wren says:

That’s exactly what I wanted to say. I believe that “the gift” or whatever you want to call it is very real, we don’t understand it but how often have things been passed off as witchcraft or impossible that we now take for granted? But those who take advantage, who are in it to earn money, those who seek to enrich themselves in some way, those are the fakers, and alas there are so, so many of them.

    • saras says:

  5. “Cats are open and loyal” No effing way they are! They are selfish, narcist, moody and all sorts of mean.

    • BengalCat2000 says:

That’s why I love them, lol!
      Cannot stand Kendal Jenner tho.

    • swak says:

My cats are sweethearts. But that is probably unusual. The female lets my grandchildren mess with her totally.

    • AnnaKist says:

I’ve had cats all my adult life – we have 4 at present – and I can confirm that most (not all) of them look down on humans. “Feed me, give me warmth, clean up after me. I’ll let you know when you can entertain me. Other than that, leave me alone.” 😺 This girl is a ninny, but I’m sure she thinks people hang on her every word.

    • Erinn says:

Honestly – I came home sobbing one day, and my cats ran to me before my dog even acknowledged me.

I think cats are just selectively sweet. They know when they need to turn on the charm. And I love all of their self-absorbed, asshole moments in between. EVEN when they make eyecontact with me and slap cups off the counter.

      • Wren says:

My cat is a huge bitch who hates everyone but me, unless she decides she wants to sit on their lap. No petting allowed, just be a lap.

One day I was having a terrible time. One thing lead to another and I was sitting sobbing on the floor of the bedroom. My cat stared at me for awhile, then went to the kitchen and came back with a potato. She dropped the potato at my feet and purred and pranced around. I couldn’t help but laugh and somehow everything was so much better. She’d never done anything of the kind before. It’s a joke now in my house.

    • magda says:

But cats are loyal! My beloved cat was so focused on being “my pet’ that in her long, 20 years life she NEVER allowed any other person to touch her. And with me she was a sweetheart. It was so nice (“she loves only meeeee”) and sooooooo annoying in the same time – leaving my cat for the weekend/vacation with my parents was big dramatic event every time.

      • lucy2 says:

I think our cats must be related. Mine hates everyone but loves me. I just got back from a short trip and she’s been stuck to me like glue.

    • Kitten says:

Nope. My cats are anything but mean to me. To others, that’s a different story…

      • My experience with felines have been very painful. A stray cat scratched my hands when i offered it bread, another cat ran at me because she thought i was going to steal her kittens, my brothers cat bit me the first time she settled her little paws in our home, every time the little fiend sees me she grrrs and her hair and tail are up, giving me filthy looks. I hate cats and they hate me just the same.
I love chickens instead, they love eating treats and are nice to you, by way of giving you eggs. I miss home especially observing Mr. rooster and his girls
:'( they are not loyal but they are lovely!

    • thelazylioness says:

I’ve had many cats in my years and they are all very different. Goldie was mean. Poochie was moody and a user. Jezebel was sweet but the messiest pet I ever had. Samantha was my soulmate, she hugged me and kissed me all night as we slept. Tabitha and Sebastian were affectionate and adorable. And now Raven… she’s adorable and sweet but she only wants to play and is only affectionate when SHE feels like being pet. I love her anyway… just her silly expressions make my heart flutter.🐱

      • Lucretias says:

That is so sweet. I love hearing you talk about your cats. I want a soulmate like Samantha! My Marmelade is like your Raven, she wants what she wants when she wants it, but I love her just the same!!

  6. AnnaKist says:

Psychic, eh? And yet she failed to predict or recognise the “Eurotrash boys” who supposedly “kidnapped” her from a wharf while she waited for a boat to take her to the massive luxury yacht… I wonder if she can see how quickly hers and Kylie’s new book will make it to the best-seller list? Or the bargain bin. Whichever comes first.

    • guest says:

A book someone else wrote and Kylie, Kendell and Kris sat in a room skimmed through a few pages, and said,”this will do” before signing papers to have Kylie and Kendell’s name slapped on it.
Just like they did with Kylie Lipgloss.
I will the buy the book, then post a picture of it on amazon of me using it to pick up dog crap.

      • AnnaKist says:

I hope you’ll wait until it’s in the bargain bin before shelling out, though, guest. No sense in throwing away your hard-earned cash to fund their extravagant, superficial lifestyle.

  7. Little Darling says:

Everyone has the ability to tune into the vibrations of others and of the universe. Some are more finely tuned. Some pay more attention. Some work on their intuition (it is something you can learn to tune into) but if Kendall wants to follow her gut and call it psychic, sure.

Although, wouldn’t she have *already known that she was psychic before seeing the psychic*? Hah, psychic humour!

    • “tune into vibrations of others and of the universe”
pardon me, but what exactly? They didn’ teach me this in physics classes. I cant believe we are talking of psychics in 2016!

      • Naya says:

I dont believe in this stuff either but I think we should leave people to their chosen beliefs. This vibration business is no different that the theories about gods, after lives, demons, angels and messiahs. I personally find it all incredibly absurd but I just have to accept that some people dont.

      • Erinn says:

Yeah, there’s definitely no reason to be rude to Little Darling – especially as a direct reply to her post.

I personally think some people are more sensitive to certain things than others. Think what you will. But you don’t need to mock people for it.

      • I only asked an honest question since i have never heard of vibration business. It is 21st century, folks, we are allowed to question now.
@little darling I am sorry if i came across as rude. It was not my intention to mock.

      • GingerNYC says:

Not sure why you are surprised, most of the planet believes in some kind of a higher power and they don’t teach that in physics either. In the US more than 70% of adults believe in angels!! And don’t get me started on creationism…

      • Josefina says:

“They didn’ teach me this in physics classes. I cant believe we are talking of psychics in 2016!”

Given the education Kendall received, she probably thinks “physics” is a fancy word for exercising.

      • Jwoolman says:

People just use language like vibrations to try to explain what they’re picking up. No need to overanalyze it.

I actually am a real physicist (Ph.D.) , and I suspect that some people are just more sensitive to physical clues than others. Even such things as the electromagnetic fields around a person might be involved – we know a few people actually sense the e-m fields around house circuitry so well that it’s like tinnitus, their brain interprets it as background noise. Proper shielding of the wiring relieves the problem.

But also people can become adept at picking up nuances from speech even on a phone and of course body language.

Olfactory clues are also possible – at least that seems to be the case with other animals with more sensitive sense of smell. My bet is that our natural odor changes during brain activity depending on what we are thinking about. Cats and dogs can pick this up, which explains certain weird experiences with visualization methods of communication with them (which I can personally confirm as a real phenomenon). Some humans might veer into a similar range of sensitivity.

Some people can see a little into the infrared (one of my physics colleagues was like this), so sensing heat variations by sight might be possible in some cases.

In other words — although a lot of “psychic experiences” people report can be explained by coincidence (people forget how many times they thought something was wrong with a faraway relative when it wasn’t), I wouldn’t dismiss the possibility that some of it can be explained by observational skills combined with some variations in sensory apparatus that provide far more clues than the average person picks up. Testing of such skills would be difficult because often it’s not a constant thing and the conditions of the experiment might not be conducive to expression of the skills. I wonder if the increasing miniaturization of wearable sensors might provide some interesting data. But it’s still a very complex experimental problem.

And as someone else said – we’re basically talking about differences in religious belief and so need to be respectful even if we don’t believe it ourselves. People look for comfort where they can, and it can be worth the money to them.

      • @jwoolman, as a student who got publicly shamed in biology lessons by an overly religious professor, according to whom learning evolution is only meant for getting marks in exams and that we should not take it seriously. He called “the theory of organic evolution” as a satanic theory. As a naive student who should have known better, i had scribbled fanaticism on my text took right next to creationism. He saw that and humiliated me, while other kids looked down on me at the same time. I totally understand the feeling of getting mocked in the real world. Fortunately, my parents are open minded and support me. little darling talked about vibrations and believe me i still get nightmares remembering the chapter of oscillations and waves in physics! i thought the poster had some scientific basis which i was curious to read not that i was mocking her beliefs, i would not do that although my tune must have made it so, i am a college going girl and this is how we talk. Your comment made me go into optics and em spectrum internet rabbit hole. Thanks for sharing that info.
@josefina not sure what you mean by saying( writing) physics as a fancy term, but the part of world i come from, it is a most beautiful subject capable of wringing tears from your eyes!!
Again i truly apologize for hurting anyone’s beliefs, that was never my intention.
ps never thought science would be discussed in kardashian thread.

      • Josefina says:

        @nullius in verba
You asked why people are talking about psychics in 2016. And I replied implying Kendall Jenner probably never attended a serious class of physics, that’s why she believes in these things so easily.

      • Little Darling says:

        Vibrations= energy

I was speaking in more esoteric terms as in living breathing energy that we all, as humans, have. We are constantly sending out vibrations into the world based on our moods, our experiences, our encounters.

Some are finely tuned into this in a number of ways. Some observe and are able to pay close attention. Some get a more physical sensation in their bodies, like when something *feels* wrong. Some people are too caught up in *energetic* static inside of themselves to tune into anything else but themselves.

I think of all that, to varying degrees, plays a part in intuition, which is what I think my point was. I don’t remember now!!!

Thanks to those who had my back, although I now understand the replier was confused, although it came across as fairly rude. (: no harm no foul!

        Now let me get back to this tarot deck I’ve been studying… (;

Well, she means intuitive – which she claimed to be last week and which she does not know the meaning of either. But she can’t say intuitive – too many syllables – so someone told her to refer to herself as psychic – only two syllables and easier to say. Lot’s of personal growth going on here.

  11. swak says:

Am I wrong or what. I don’t equate being intuitive to being a psychic. A psychic may be intuitive, but just because you are intuitive does not mean your psychic.

We have 3 Bengals and a rescue tabby. The two male Bengals treat me with disdain, and when they do deign to allow me to pat them, it’s usually because I’ve opened the fridge door, and they know that’s where the ham is kept. They’re accustomed to getting a ham treat from my daughter, and hope I’ll be as generous… Meee-yow. Our 8-month-old female, on the other hand, is quite affectionate and likes being with humans.

  17. Very annoyed says:

Psychics are harmless as long as they don’t such all your money out of your pocket and as long as they don’t derive your whole life. Though the latter does probably apply not just to psychics.

Though it is quite interesting that the older terms like “fortune-teller” or “mentalist” or “diviner” or “prophesier” seem to be less valued than the term “psychic” although all are basically the same. its all just “marketing”, right?

Btw. some of modern-day snake-oil salesman are so called “stategic advisors” who are often quite educated and make guesses about the future on basis of their education. Politicians and even Presidents do consult and employ them. For example: Bre_zez_ins_ky. There is an article on wikipedia about him. Essentially these guys are just well-educated and well-connected and very well-paid psychics.

Looking for and buying snake-oil isn’t just a habit of the less academically educated. *zynicgrin*

Do you think that a (Native American?) medcine-man is somehow more capable than a (medieval) European quacksalber or a European barber (who did the hard surgical and otherwise “dirty” medical work in the middle ages)?

      • Green_Eyes says:

DingDing, you onviously do not know the true role & purpose of a Medicine Man. MM (and women) work with the spirit world as much as they work with the living. They are not just healers of the body, but of the body, mind, and soul in this world & the spirit of the next world. So yes they do more than a barber did. Today there are still active respected Medicine Men.. so I’m not sure if you were serious or being sarcastic.

If she’s psychic, why did she need 7 other psychics to tell her she’s psychic?

  22. Mark says:

We all laugh at her, but she is very rich for being famous and most people are jealous at her. I don’t need to be a psychic to predict, that her career is far from over.

  23. MiniMii says:

She’s a psychic? Well then, she should just sign right up for James Randi’s experiment and win herself a million dollars!

I never thought I’d say this, but thank goodness for Kris Jenner. Without her “Momager” Kendall would be in a world of hurt, because obviously she’s dumber than a box of rocks.

  24. Iced Green Tea Latte says:

I think the Kardashians are having serious money problems. All the stories Pimp Mama K has been leaking to the daily mail are crazier than ever. She’s also the dean of some Legacy University Business School that scams people out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Can you do an article about that Kaiser?

  25. India Andrews says:

Eye roll. If you are pschic or a medium, you don’t need other people to tell you. You know already.

    • Mare says:

It also doesn’t make her psychic if you “don’t trust people right off the bat”. Most of us don’t trust someone until we get to know them. That’s just common sense, which I don’t believe anyone in the akoven has.

  26. rudy says:

In her defense for who knows what reason, I think Kendall means intuitive. Most probably psychics get by on physical clues and intuition as well.
