Star is set to report that Jessica Simpson has been dumped by current flame Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine - via text message!
Although some say Simpson’s link with Jude Law was just a case of someone mistaking him for the less famous Levine, Star reports that now that Jessica is free again, things are heating up between the two:
It all started when Levine blew-off their Valentine’s Day date as Jess pressured him for answers. It took a while to sink in and when it did, she told her best friend, “I just got dumped.” And by text message, no less. Ouch!
Not that Simpson will have trouble finding companionship. A source tells Star that she and British heartthrob Jude Law have been calling each other non-stop - even though they’re thousands of miles apart.
It’s heartless to use a text message to tell someone you need space. It doesn’t matter how hot you are, if a guy is a commitment-phobe he’s going to bolt.
