Wait…people were thinking Lindsay was financially supporting someone?

    • Sigh... says:

Right?!? I thought the same thing, cuz didn’t everyone assume she was gold-digging/long-conning/grifting, complete with fake pregnancy? Maybe she said otherwise in that recent pointless interview in Russia…?

    • Michelina says:

I normally always believe it when someone says they’ve been abused, but with Lindsay, I’m calling BS big time. She was all over social media refusing to take her engagement ring off and basically putting it out there that she would happily get back together with him if he would publicly apologize to her, and once he didn’t, it turned into how he was such a terror and she’s a victim. The video that supposedly showed him “manhandling” her on the beach was really a video of Lindsay acting crazy and abusive, ripping his phone out of his hands, throwing it out the window and then running to grab it before he could. That is childish and abusive to him. If a man were filmed doing that to a woman, it would be front page news. He was simply trying to wrestle the phone away from her because it was HIS property. When the fight was over, she jumped back into his car and refused to get out when he asked her to. Lindsay is the abusive, unstable party in her relationships. She creates the problems. I hate that this has gotten her back into the limelight a bit. She seems to be of the school of thought that any press is good press. I’m willing to bet if Egor would have her back, she would be with him in a heartbeat. He was her meal ticket. I guess it’s back to the Saudis for her.

I certainly didn’t . Is she even making any money? I haven’t seen her in anything in a long, long while.

    • Lindsay says:

She was claiming he was lazy and she was the one supporting him financially because he was “flat broke”.

  3. HH says:

They’re pretty late on this… she’s lost so much steam. I mean she can put on a great show, but I just feel no excitement for her.

  4. LolaBones says:

How the hell Steven Avery is engaged (again!) and I still struggle to keep a guys attention??

  5. Bridget says:

    Ugh.

  6. Dolkite says:

They should pick someone with more mainstream appeal. Nobody over 30 gives a rat’s ass about Lady Gaga.

I’m still hoping Weird Al gets the gig one year.

    • naomipaige says:

Weird Al would be awesome! I’m with you on this.

    • Bridget says:

Nobody under 30 hugely cares any more. Maybe the people that really like her on AHS will be excited?

      • Dolkite says:

I’m not trashing her, but the Super Bowl isn’t exactly a youth-dominated event like, say, the VMAs. I felt the same way about Beyonce…she’s a superstar to under-30s, but a lot of middle-aged people could care less. I think they’d be better off going with an older group that everyone is familiar with.

      • Bridget says:

LOL, I was more responding to the OP saying “No one over 30 cares about Gaga”. She’s not really someone that appeals to the youth audience or the grown up audience, there’s just a lot of smoke and mirrors there. I am of the opinion that she’s on the PMK track or is blackmailing someone, because she’s being given a push and some great gigs that make no sense why they would go to Gaga.

    • L84Tea says:

I saw him in concert a couple years ago. He seriously puts on an entertaining show.

    • BB says:

      Weird Al w/b awesome!!!

  7. Scarlet Vixen says:

I just don’t get this choice. Gaga isn’t terribly relevant anymore, nor does she appeal to your average Super Bowl viewer. And, we all remember the blowup over seeing Janet Jackson’s nip–it practically ruined her career. So, they’re going to give someone who practically lives in pasties an entire halftime?

    • ria says:

Relevant for everyage and with THE MOST MAGNIFICENT Show stopper Songs ever,
We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions,
Known in every Sports Arena around the World.
QUEEN with their new Singer Adam Lambert.

As third Song ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST and Superbowl would rock to the sky.

ME, over the top fan as you can see, hubby also, we were at a couple of Concerts from them the last two years. Above everything else.

  8. L84Tea says:

    Lady Gaga? Is it 2011?

    • SheDoneAlreadyHadHerses says:

Exactly my thoughts! This would have been awesome news a few years ago. Now – meh.

  9. Blue says:

Hey, don’t blame Canada for Cruz! America raised him and Drumph.

  10. Lindsay says:

Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber split up! So sad…

  11. Jeanette says:

This Jim Carrey stuff is crazy. He is a real douchebag.
