Kanye West during a concert: ‘If I would have voted, I would’ve voted for Trump’

FFN_VAH_West_Kanye_111116_52229118

Kanye West’s Saint Pablo Tour took him to San Jose last night. Throughout this tour (and in previous tours as well), Kanye likes to have breaks in between songs where he pontificates at length about various subjects. Previously, he’s used his Saint Pablo stage to rant about politics, race, Drake, Jay-Z and more. The concert in San Jose was slightly different, in that Kanye is getting a ton of headlines for saying that IF he had voted (YEEZUS CHRIST, KANYE), he would have voted for Donald Trump. As much as I want to walk away with an “I’m done” right now, I have to keep writing.

Apparently, the rant spanned many music breaks, with Kanye saying at various times that he would have voted for Trump, that Trump’s campaign was “entertaining” and “absolutely genius because it f–king worked” and that he’s still planning on running for president in 2020. He also told the crowd that he’s been a Trump supporter for a while, but family friend and major Clinton supporter Scooter Braun (manager to Ariana Grande & Justin Bieber) advised him not to talk about his Trump support before the election. Here’s the video of Kanye saying he would vote for Trump. His words? “I said something that was sort of politically correct, I told y’all I didn’t vote, right? But I didn’t tell you – I guess I told you – but if I would have voted, I would have voted for Trump.”

Here’s Kanye calling Trump’s campaign “absolutely genius.” NSFW language.

Kanye on race: “To black people, stop focusing on racism. This world is racist, okay? Stop being distracted to focus on that so much. It’s just a f—king fact. We are in a racist country. Period.” NSFW language.

@RaptorJesuss was live-tweeting the concert, and his tweets are absolutely worth a read – go here. Some other sh-t that Kanye said:

I just can’t. Kanye’s wife was a Hillary Clinton supporter. Kanye’s mother-in-law was a Hillary Clinton donor and supporter. Why couldn’t they talk some sense into Kanye?

    I’m done.

    • Megan says:

      Me, too.

    • LAK says:

THIS is where you get off this crazy train?

Not the few hundred crazy stops before?

    • BengalCat2000 says:

      I’m with y’all.

    • Jenni says:

He is emotionally and mentally unstable. I don’t get why people take him seriously.

      • original kay says:

That’s what people said about Trump, and look how that worked out.

      • Becky says:

Jenni, you got it. I got into Kanye’s music about the time of Dark Fantasy, but some time ago it was obvious he has some issues and I pretty much try and avoid reading about his crazy behaviour.

      • jwoolman says:

That might be why Trump resonates with Kanye — he sees himself in Trump. He admired Trump’s style in the second debate – the one where Trump lumbered around the stage, looking as though he were trying to avoid exploding in a narcissistic rage (calling out and proving a narcissist’s many lies will trigger that rage), trying to keep in the urge to hit somebody (probably Hillary). Poor Kim.

    • Annetommy says:

He’s even more of an idiot than I thought, and I already thought he was a massive idiot. Is he looking for an appointment to Trump’s team? He would fit in nicely – apart from the whole being a POC thing and he doesn’t want to focus on that…

      • jwoolman says:

Maybe Kanye is angling for an invite to perform at Trump’s inauguration. Then Trump can point to Kanye in his speech as “there’s my African-American supporter!”.

      • Annetommy says:

I believe they are having trouble getting other performers…maybe Clint Eastwood could resurrect his dialogue with the chair?

    • Mumzy says:

The movie “Idiocracy” is coming to mind.

    • SM says:

I never was a fan of his music. As a metter of fact i can’ t name even one of his songs. But can we ask his fans to boycot his ass. I have no interest in music that comes from someone ad delussional. He may be an entertainer and a good one from what I hear but for god’s sake. Not everyting is entertainment. Politics should not be a for of entertainment. He needs to go away

    • I Choose Me says:

Kanye was already on my permanent sh-t list. So I’ve got that going for me.

Dude lives in an alternative universe it seems like. So anything he has to say I automatically file under IRRELEVANT.

    • Really now says:

Why does this site vilify anyone that doesn’t agree with their political agenda? If a black man voted for trump why the F wouldn’t you just publish it and move on? You have to add your rhetoric to the article just to make other trump voters feel bad. Why not mention Hillary and Benghazi or Hillary accepting donations from Saudis? I’m done with celebitchy. One sided group think driven site.

      • jwoolman says:

I don’t see how Benghazi (which even the Republicans had to admit was not Hillary’s fault in any way) and Saudi donations to a charity providing healthcare in their region is a minus for Hillary. Who by the way won the popular vote (once all votes are counted, she probably won by one to two million votes).

You are free to think Trump is the greatest thing since sliced bread, but we have never had someone so ignorant and so seriously unstable in the White House before. We are in for a very rough ride. And unless some patriot disables his access to the nuclear codes, we may not survive it very well.

      • Otaku Fairy says:

Why on earth shouldn’t Trump voters ‘feel bad’ about supporting and giving political power to western white supremacists, misogynists, rapists, and people who plan to attack the rights of women, transgender people, and gay/bisexual people, as if hurt Trumpster feelings are anywhere near as important as our rights, safety, and need for equality? The dangerous and idiotic political choice you people just made sends a message to people about what sort of beliefs and behaviors are acceptable and is going to effect rights and laws in this country. If some of you are starting to ‘feel bad’ about what you’ve done, that may be a sign that deep down you’re able to realize and care on some level about the fact that your actions and political choices have consequences for other people. Congratulations, you may not be a sociopath.

      • Trashaddict says:

We often have reasoned discussions on this site over things on which we disagree. With people who do not apply bobo logic. Bye-bye, Really Now. No loss.

  2. SBS says:

Okay, will those who continue to excuse his behavior finally admit what a huge misogynist he really is?

    • DeniseMich says:

I have defended Kanye in the past. I will never do so again.

First he didn’t vote and says that is politically correct.

Second, he says he as a black man, would have voted for Trump.

      He is officially an idiot.

  3. Birdix says:

They are not too different in their narcissism, need for attention, delusions of their own brilliance, and tendency for public tantrums. So Kanye probably thinks if Trump can win, he could too.
Would it be weirder than a Trump presidency? Not much.

  4. NeexKC says:

This dumdum is playing towards Kanye 2020 but no one cares now that The Rock is a possiblility. Bye!

    • LoveIsBlynd says:

The Rock! Love him- but this one? Kanye…what can I say…another reality tv episode of the socioPath to the presidency Will we ever see the day again when a true public servant with foreign policy experience would lead the free world? I think we are basically doomed- our nation has become the corn syrup we consume- you are what you eat, right?

      • Lascivious says:

LIB, love what you wrote: “our nation has become the corn syrup we consume.” That’s a great way of putting it! I hope you don’t mind if I quote you.

  5. Nicole says:

    Yeah F you Kanye.

    • Fl girl says:

I’ll second this emotion. Can you imagine the debates though?

      • Pandy says:

The debates would be a joke. He’s not coherent enough to get his point across. What a tool this guy is!!! The level of delusion … just because he’s recorded a few albums and designed full body spanx as outerwear …

Somebody needs to sit him down and tell him he’s a punchline now.

      • BonBons says:

        Imma gonna let you finish……

  6. Patricia says:

When anyone starts by saying “I didn’t vote but…” I take that as permission to blank out on everything else they have to say and just go to my happy place inside my mind.

    what a tool.

    • Sullivan says:

      Me, too. I can’t hear a word he’s saying.

    • minx says:

      Same.
I don’t want to hear anything from this narcissistic tool. But I really don’t want to hear that he didn’t vote, or that he “would have” voted for Trump.
      Shoo.

    • Kitten says:

This though. Nobody cares what you have to say if you didn’t vote.

    • mazzie says:

      Yup.

    • Alix says:

      No voting, no bitching privileges.

And heaven help me, “If I would’ve..?” Grammar is dead, apparently, along with common sense.

    • Amy Tennant says:

I came here to say that! I hear “If I would have voted… STATIC… “

    • Lascivious says:

Yup. It’s like when someone says, “I’m not racist, but..” and SLAM go my ears 🙄

    • naomipaige says:

For anybody that didn’t vote they need to keep their f’ing mouths shut. Nobody gives a crap what they had to say. Their voice should have been heard at the polls. Stupid a** MOFO’s!!!!!

  7. effoff says:

One more reason to hate him.

  8. Ayra. says:

Was Kim really a Hilary supporter? Didn’t she say that she might vote for Trump then backtracked?
This isn’t even surprising, no wonder Jay doesn’t bother with him anymore.

his rants were never entertaining, he isn’t deep, he can’t make a point, his music has bee crap for a few years. Need I go on?

    • Jayna says:

I don’t believe Kim voted either. I doubt she could be bothered.

Kanye disgusts me. How about voting on issues and what Hillary wanted to accomplish or preserve that Trump wants to repeal or defund, etc,

    • eggy weggs says:

I kinda wonder if this isn’t also wrapped up in their falling out. “Oh, Jay-Z and Beyonce are doing a concert for Hillary? Well then, I like Trump!” What a petty, nasty little man he appears to be.

      • Lisa says:

What with being a petty, nasty and vindictive little man, Kanye would sure fit in with The Orange One and his son-in-law. What a sell-out he is!

      • jmacky says:

you called it. just like much of this election–its based on personality, narcissism, personal vengeance and entitlement–no intellectual discourse on policy. people hating each other for not voting the way they want others too…U.S. is sick these days.

    • anna says:

kim said she cares most about gun-control and women’s access to reproductive healthcare and that her vote reflects that. so hillary all the way. the whole family treats kanye like a beloved fool, or a kid, someone who is entertaining but not expected to be reasonable. i guess no one took little kanye out to vote, so he didn’t. because thats how much he cares.

    • lightpurple says:

She came out in support of Trump, then backtracked when she got flack for it, and then claimed she supported Clinton.

      • Pandy says:

Of course she supports Trump. Don’t doubt that for a minute. Reality Star risen to the highest office in the land … she’s all for legitimizing reality stars!

      • Tina says:

She, and Kanye (would have), and an awful f-ing lot of rich people, voted for Trump because they want lower taxes. They don’t give a crap about anything else.

  9. Lalu says:

Ha! I think this is pretty funny because this guy just never quits and people are always there to defend him. I want everyone to keep defending his behavior now.
My favorite part has to be him saying that he didn’t vote… But if he did…. Gah! The fact that anyone listens to him his disturbing.

  10. yellowrocket says:

Kanye’s ‘accept the world is racist’ rant just ended my lifelong fandom. Tone deaf and privileged bullsh!#

That’s easy for him to say when there’s no chance of him being shot on sight by a rogue cop.

  11. Tate says:

    I give up.

  12. anna says:

first paris hilton, now this joker. the stupidity knows no bounds. i want to lie down and cry long and hard for democracy and the values of enlightenement. we had a good run.
but now politics is viewed like reality tv. facts don’t matter, as long as it makes you feel something. the greeks called it ochlocracy. the reign of the mob.
granny said yesterday she is so glad that she’s old, she doesn’t want to see the world burn one more time. (ww2/ east-germany/ russian occupation)

  13. Lemons says:

First lil Wayne then Kanye. We shouldnt be surprised though. Lil Wayne started making big money as a kid and Kanye was raised in privilege. Any solidarity they claimed with young men of color was manufactured to retain street credibility. Now that they are super stars, they no longer need that cred. White college kids would in fact prefer that they distanced themselves from BLM (as Lil Wayne did) or pander to their burn-it-down-for-Bernie mindset. Jay Z gets so much flack for so much but you’ll never see Jay Z sell out like this.

  14. Kiki says:

I have been done with Kanye West when he went mad at the Grammy’s when Beck won album of the year and talking shit that Beyonce should have win. HE IS GOD my ass, if he knew the comparison of Beck making his album by himself rather than Beyonce who has 200 producers to make her album, who deserved the best album.

Anyways, then he has some nerve to say that Trump is a GENIUS. Kanye us a Jackass and he should be prayed for.

  15. RussianBlueCat says:

Coming up next on Keeping Up with the Kardashians:

Kim is horrified at Kayne’s support for Donald Trump. She does not understand how her husband can support someone who has made racist comments in the past and has appointed people with racist views into his cabinet. Kim is now reconsidering having a third child and is instead going to focus on protecting her children from Kanye’s increasingly bizarre behaviour
Kris: ” I love Kanye like he is my own son, but I feel this time he has gone too far”

  16. Merritt says:

    Not exactly surprising.

  17. BeBeA says:

I’m sorry Kanye I can’t hear you because. …… well…….. I have better things to do.

  18. BangersandMash says:

I agree with every thing he said.
    God i love Kanye.
The country was going to explode either way. Hillary was the most competent candidate. But she was no khaleesi. Racism would have kept alive and well… There would be protests all over the place by pro Trump people feeling shafted by a Hillary win.
At least the same guys who creep behind “skankhunt42” keyboard heroing, but claim to be all about equality and gay rights are out there and in your face. Better the devil that you know…
    Kanye is not lying

    • Lalu says:

The people who say the pro trump people would have been protesting all over the place if Hillary won always get a chuckle out of me.

      • swak says:

You think they wouldn’t have protested? We heard even before Trump won cries of “Rigged election” coming from Trump’s mouth and his camp. Not to mention implied comments about violence.

    • Jess says:

The devil you know? That’s some BS you been fed and not at all true. most people including political experts don’t even know what positions he holds because he’s contradicted himself so much. At least with Hillary she had a known foreign policy. Also how does the world is racist so let’s just give in to and appoint white supremacists as chief advisors make sense to you? Terrifying attitude.

    • iralagi says:

      agree with you and kanye.

    • Leah says:

      @bangersandmash @iralagi
Kanye: The world is racist and I support making it much, much worse.

  19. Talie says:

Of course all these celebs are coming clean now…they aren’t affected by who is president. They still get to be rich and protected…even better if it’s a republican to get them those tax cuts they want.

  20. original kay says:

Can we just accept that things shifted and that for many of us, this is a place of sanity in a much needed time?

Things change, evolve. Change with us and be a part of it, because well, we all know the outcome when people refuse to see things are different.

  21. als says:

The most disturbing think about Kanye is his lack of personal responsability. He says Scooter made him hide his support for Trump, before that Kim came out to defend him from mean Taylor Swift, his mother in law caters to his every whim, his wife’s family must be present to all his events to keep his feelings in check.

And the If he had voted, he Would have voted for…
If all Trump supporters would have been as reliable as Kanye, Trump would have lost big time.

  22. Div says:

This is incredibly disgusting and yet not surprising. Back in the day, I was a huge fan of Kanye but he became awful as time went on and I don’t think it is only the result of a mental illness. The insane misogyny, the bizarre, cruel rants against random people, and now praise of Donald Trump. F*ck Kanye.

While I can usually separate the art from the artist, actively supporting a fascist is beyond the pale. There’s an extra level of disgust because said fascist employs people that are incredibly bigoted towards people that look like Kanye or me. Self-hatred or just a lack of empathy to those who do not have his money and will be subject to an increasingly terrifying world? Who knows.

    • Kitten says:

You said everything. I used to be a huge fan and a bit of a Kanye apologist. Over the years my support of him has steadily waned..this is the final nail in the coffin.

  23. Sam says:

I can’t wait for folks to keep defending him like they always do. He’s always been misogynistic. This is nothing new. The sentiment around here the last several months has been “go Kanye! He and Kim exposed that snake,” and no matter what he’s done the last few months that was their defense but just because this summer Taylor got exposed doesn’t change the fact that Kanye belongs in the trash.

    • Kitten says:

      Completely agree.

    • Lalu says:

Sam… This was my comment above also. There are always people bending over backwards to defend this “genius”.
I assume him grabbing a mic from a young girl was forgivable but they’ll finally hate him now.

    • Josefina says:

I never understood why that video made Kanye look good. Like, you’re still the one who wrote the lyric. The lyric doesn’t stop being mysoginistic and disgusting because Taylor Swift gave you permission to sing it. That makes her look awful, but it doesn’t make Kanye look any better.

      • Lightpurple says:

Especially as it was so obviously edited and he didn’t have the guts to release it himself but hid behind his wife

    • Saks says:

Yes! Also because for some reason people say he is a genius…(?!) I mean he is a good producer but that’s it.
He is awful in every level he has exposed himself.

  24. Shijel says:

You know I can’t even be outraged. Sometimes something is so unbelievably stupid that all you can do is let your forehead slam into your table and hope it’s enough to take your comprehension of the world away and replace it with sweet, sweet simple bliss.

What are the chances that Kanye’s saying this batty crap just to generate publicity? Dude doesn’t care about being laughing stock as long as he’s in the news.

    • swak says:

Slam your head several times. That way maybe you’ll have amnesia! 🙂 Feel the same way, just want to bang the head at it all.

  25. AnotherDirtyMartini says:

Fuck off, Kanye. And don’t even think about running in 2020 like you threatened.

  26. Guesto says:

Known moron says moronic things shocker.

  27. HK9 says:

The man is a complete jackass.

  28. Jayna says:

Kanye didn’t want to pay higher taxes, since he’s the one percent. That is probably the bottom line. Me, me, me.

  29. AnotherDirtyMartini says:

Oh I love what he said about racism. Basically get over it. Reminds me of that jerk Chelsea Handler refusing to discuss sexism when she was a guest on Kathy Griffin’s former talk show. It’s easy to dismiss racism & sexism after you’ve made it. Who cares about anyone else, right?

  30. Katie says:

I don’t even believe him. I think he just wants to be on the “winning” side of history.

  31. hey-ya says:

…isnt that exactly wot I said …Trump won..Perot got dumped way before the race began…team Donald understands publicity..
btw just like to say its good that the Mayor resigned..because her comments came after the vote when Donald was being so concillatory …poor Flotus…some folks have no love in their mean hearts…

  32. S says:

I have said, repeatedly, during this election cycle that if the Democrats had somehow nominated Kayne West, this bleeding heart liberal would vote for John McCain, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio or even Ted Freaking Cruz over A CERTIFIABLY INSANE PERSON which is what Kayne, and our (still gags me to say) it President-Elect, are.

    I weep for this country.

  33. Mich says:

    Moron.

  34. Tourmaline says:

How can Kim stand him? No wonder she looks so dead-eyed all of the time. I know they don’t really live together, etc. so that must help.

  35. Lyla says:

Is this the same Kanye who went on TV and said “George Bush doesn’t care about black people?” Now he doesn’t care racism?

  36. Heat says:

This from the guy who, during a telethon to help victims of Hurricaine Katrina, said “George Bush hates black people”.

    • BonnieJean says:

      Yeah, that really helped…

    • Jayna says:

      Yep.

    • Sunnydaze says:

I wonder if kanye caught trump’s position on stop and frisk….

Hopefully his bs won’t inspire his fans to support this monster.

    • nica says:

I remember watching a clip of Kanye at the telethon and being struck by how genuinely angry and hurt he was on behalf of Katrina victims. It wasn’t just what he said, it was all over his face and in his voice. So whenever I’ve come across a story of Kanye saying something ridiculous that clip pops into my head and I think better about him. But it’s not working this time. He didn’t vote??? And if he did he would have voted for Trump???

Anyway, for those who haven’t seen it this is the clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDMyArnIdzY

  37. Olenna says:

    TSTL.

  38. Josefina says:

So I guess we can officially say now that Kim is the smart one in the relationship?

    • K2 says:

It’s like admitting the goldfish is smarter than the algae, isn’t it? Truth, but not accolade.

      • me says:

No. Remember in a recent interview Kim said she was “undecided” on who to vote for. Which doesn’t make sense since before that interview she was pro Hilary.

      • K2 says:

That remains a lot smarter than the words quoted for Kanye. As my granny used to say: it is wiser to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool, than to open it and remove all doubt.

  39. Jess says:

Not surprised. They are practically the same person.

  40. Allie B. says:

Kanye is my favorite artist. I can’t ride with this. I’ve spent thousands on this man. He has worked VERY hard to make me lose all respect and interest in his music. I held on as long as I could. I don’t mind egos and narcissism because they’re(entertainers) all narcissistic whether they show it or not. He used to truly speak to me in his lyrics, but as everyone knows, that Kanye is gone. Oh well, more mourning…

    • jwoolman says:

Narcissism is a spectrum with a benign end and a malignant end. Everything we know about Trump points to him being a malignant narcissist with other problems such as severe attention deficit issues and sleep disorders.I don’t know if Kanye is explained by that spectrum or if something else is going on, but whatever it is – Kanye is getting worse with age. He has different cycles – sometimes he seems reasonable, but more and more he seems manic. His thoughts are disorganized in a way that suggests illness, not just lack of training. When non-manic, he speaks coherently.

  41. Margo S. says:

I know what he’s saying is crazy. But I love crazy kanye. He’s so unhinged and nuts and hilarious.

    • Sunnydaze says:

I’m not sure what’s hilarious about him endorsing such a vile person and likely influencing impressionable fans to buy into the trump rhetoric…which included support for stop and frisk, a horrifically racist policy that thankfully was ruled unconstitutional, but resulted in tons of police brutality incidents against people of color (mostly black men). I can just imagine all the people cheering after he said that who might not know the truth about what’s going on. That’s not remotely funny.

    • Lightpurple says:

Unhinged and nuts, yes. Just like Trump.

    • OhDear says:

      I don’t know – I really think he’s not well.

  42. Sage says:

I miss the old Kanye, the College Dropout Kanye..

This man has been boarding on a breakdown for awhile.

  43. Juniper says:

No surprise. Can’t string more than a few ideas together. And the pity is that his mother was s college professor.

  44. nat says:

People like him are the worst – people without an opinion.

Before the election they were all pro-Hillary etc, now as they know she lost – they’re all Trump ass kissers.

  45. Lambda says:

I place Kanye on a continuum of male narcissists, right there with trump and Charlie Sheen, and there must be others. They’re outrageous and entertaining, but I really think we’re rewarding them by discussing them so much.

    • jmacky says:

THIS. with all the breakdown during and post election, the insane need to blame someone—we can’t take ourselves out of the equation. media reflects the stories people buy and what their corporate sponsors sell. we need to stop buying what all these narcissists are selling to us.

  46. MSat says:

So, the guy who went on national TV after Hurricane Katrina and said, “George Bush doesn’t care about black people,” is now telling his flock to stop talking about race so much? Wow, fame and $$ sure have changed him. Funny how all the rich guys are going for Trump now because they want the tax break.

  47. robyn says:

He is an idiot trying to make money off of other idiots. Everything he says is for attention.

  48. Leah says:

2005: “George Bush doesn’t care about Black people” – Kanye 2016: “Black people need to stop focusing so much on racism” – Kanye

  49. Val says:

Mmmm. Speechless. Above all, his quote on racism.

His mind is case study for a PhD in Psychiatry. One of a kind.

How come any of the people in the crowd keep listening at this clown after THIS rant ?
Are his fans dumb too ???

  50. me says:

Interesting…didn’t Kanye and his wife pose for pics with Hilary and even donate to her campaign? Now all of a sudden he’s a Trump supporter AFTER Trump wins. Yeah OK Kanye. The fact this a$$hole and his wife were lecturing others to vote yet he didn’t even bother to vote says A LOT.

    • Nina says:

Maybe dude thinks he needs to protect himself now and that appealing to the Trumpkins is how he needs to do it. To show them that he’s not one of “THOSE” black people.

  51. Leah says:

Hilary won the popular vote in any other western democracy she would have been president. America has a strange outdated system.

    • Bashful says:

The US use of the Electoral College is neither strange nor outdated. It is a necessary tool to be inclusive of all the states, and prohibits politicians from only campaigning in areas of large cities to garner the “popular” vote.
It also helps prevent vote stealing. No system is perfect but it does work even if we don’t like the results!

      • Leah says:

        Nope.
The American people chose Hillary Clinton. She lost because the Constitution does not choose the president democratically. Its outdated.
Had the Constitution been framed and ratified even a decade or two later, the president would have been chosen by direct popular vote. Not only does no other comparable democracy use any system like the Electoral College, no American state does.

      • Lightpurple says:

State rights are protected in the US Senate. No need to do that again in the presidential election

      • Bashful says:

        @Leah and @LightPurple we will
just have to Agree to Disagree on the importance of the Electoral College. 😊

And due to today’s Political Climate : I will disclose that I did not vote for Trump

Hillary was the better choice for a number or reasons. The #1 being she’s not insane.

    • La Blah says:

In many other western democracies a candidate or party can win government without winning the popular vote.

    • Lucrezia says:

Actually, it’s far more common not to directly elect the head of state.

What’s weird about the US system is that you vote for electors who do nothing but elect the president AND for politicians who you want to represent you in congress. In most places the elected politicians choose the head of state and have other duties (are members of Parliament, the Assembly, the Diet etc).

  52. MellyMel says:

This is called Getting Attention 101. This family, Kanye included, can’t go too long without being in the news for something. Crazy doesn’t even begin to explain him…

  53. Anastasia says:

Oh, were you not getting enough headlines lately, Kanye? You incorrigible attention whore. Stick to your songs and STFU. And by the way, no one is going to just ACCEPT and shut up about racism! Easy for you to say with your MONEY.

  54. me says:

If he likes Trump so much why didn’t he vote for him? A vote is private, who would have known? Please Kanye jumps on every bandwagon. Someone please post that pic he took supporting Hilary lol. Also, if this jerk says he didn’t vote (and he probably never has) why should anyone vote for him in 2020? Hypocrite to the fullest.

  55. Harryg says:

    Shut up already, fool.

  56. ria says:

I wonder if all his Fans here will ever call him Genius again?

Wasn’t QQ going to see him December the 4th?

  57. lucy2 says:

Great. Enjoy being stopped and frisked, Kanye.

  58. Suzie says:

You wonder if he’s trolling at this point. Still somehow this made me sad. I’ve always kinda worry for him strangely, especially after he opened up about how he felt guilty for his mum’s death, but that I just can’t stomach.

  59. Bee says:

We have a madman with an extremely short temper and a vindictive nature in charge of deciding whether or not to launch nuclear weapons. He has wondered aloud why we can’t use them.

F anyone who voted for him, or thinks its fine that he won.

    • naomipaige says:

I’m with you 1,000%. I don’t think those who voted for him truly understand what they have done. It’s all going to back-fire on them. He’s gonna F us all!!!

  60. Radley says:

Mental illness? Or is he high literally all the time? He stopped making sense a long time ago. No wonder he’s on the outs with Jay-Z. Sometimes you just have to cut people off. There’s no reasoning with them.

  61. nnk says:

lol, celebitchy’s No. 1 imaginary boyfriend/daddy disappointed it? lol

You have been defending his abhorrent appalling behavior for the past 5 years now. Defend this as well. If this had been Tom Brady, you would drill him a fresh new hole. But with kaye, it is simple ‘I’m done’.

Maybe reevaluate your celeb crushes. Kanye West is even more repugnant than Dim Kartrashian, and anyone who defends this repulsive man must get their head checked.

  62. Zoe says:

Don’t you know Kanye is the only one who can complain about racism?
Fashion industry don’t want his basic designs=racism.
Police violence against black men= Black people shut up and stop complaining.
Kanye is a disgrace to black people, trump supporters can have him, lil Wayne and Azelia banks.

  63. A. Key says:

I’m sure he would be equally supportive if say in 10 years an old white racist dude grabbed his daughter by the pussy and called her the N word……..

  64. Laura says:

Today is the first day I cannot defend Kanye West. Sadly.

  65. Amelie says:

I have never been a Kanye fan despite enjoying some of his songs. Never understood his apologists either, and there are a lot at Celebitchy. I think some of you found him amusing and entertaining. The man is definitely not stable. Just the way he talks I can tell his mind is scrambled, trying to say too many things in one sentence and getting side tracked into a million different tangents. Nobody thinks in a linear line all the time but his mind is a cobweb. I gave up trying to understand him a long time ago. Of course it takes him to align himself with Trump now everyone is abandoning ship.

  66. vespernite says:

Fuck you Kanye! I’m DONE! This includes the whole K Klan! Finished!

  67. Tanakasan says:

In the video he very clearly says “I would have voted ON Trump.” Not FOR.

  68. Msanne says:

“Soon as they like you make ’em unlike you
Cause kissin’ people ass is so unlike you”

y’all ever listen to his lyrics?

  69. jugil1 says:

I hope Kanye gets as much grief as Susan Sarandon is getting on this site & others. At least Sarandon voted….albeit for a candidate without a chance, but not voting at all is worse IMO.

    • Otaku Fairy says:

In my opinion his public endorsement of Trump and the things he stands for deserves more flack than Susan Sarandon’s third-party vote.

  70. Kath says:

Does this mean we are finally done with sympathetic coverage of this misogynistic, megalomaniac nutjob?

  71. Otaku Fairy says:

No words. This just really shocked me because even though we all know Kanye is an idiot with a history of foolishness, drama, and sexism himself, I didn’t think being a Trump supporter was a low that he would stoop to. (In what universe is George W. Bush worse than Donald Trump, Kanye?!!!) He may have had a sliver of a point about racists really exposing themselves now, but that’s still not a justification for supporting/encouraging Trump’s behavior, and those racists exposing themselves still comes at the expense of other people (but Kanye doesn’t feel effected by that, apparently. Didn’t he beat some guy up for making a very racist/misogynistic comment about him and his wife 2 years ago?) The only good thing about this story is that Kanye didn’t even actually go out and vote for Trump, but the fact that he calls the things Trump stands for genius and tells people to just shut up and accept racism doesn’t make him much better than the rest of this country’s Trump Trash.

  72. naomipaige says:

Oh, please delusional Kanye. He truly needs to seek some serious mental health asap before it’s too late.

  73. Gorgonia says:

The likes with the likes. Two privileged, arrogant men, they are soul twins, even if they have different ethnic roots.

  74. jwoolman says:

There were a lot of signs that the racist remark to the wife/Kanye into the fray was a Trumpian-level lie started by Trumpian-level liar Kim. See, they really are alike.
