No worries, Donald Trump went golfing for the 14th time in his presidency

I chose not to write about Emperor Bigly this weekend, not that there was a lack of articles about him. I just needed a break from Bigly Updates. But it’s Monday and another fresh hell is upon us, so let’s get to some of the stories going around.

Bigly went golfing again this weekend. He’s spent more time on weekend vacations and on the links than any previous president has in their first few months. This was actually his 14th golf outing in his 10 weeks in office. This weekend, Bigly went golfing with Rand Paul and they talked about healthcare, because why not?

Bigly’s new interview with the Financial Times. He says he’s still working on healthcare. He says “I don’t lose. I don’t like to lose.” He still blames Democrats for the Trumpcare failure.

Bigly tried to bully NBC’s Chuck Todd. Todd is the moderator of Meet the Press. Todd is also – just my opinion – one of the most trustworthy journalists on NBC, or any network. Baby Fists tweeted Saturday morning: “When will Sleepy Eyes Chuck Todd and @NBCNews start talking about the Obama SURVEILLANCE SCANDAL and stop with the Fake Trump/Russia story… It is the same Fake News Media that said there is ‘no path to victory for Trump’ that is now pushing the phony Russia story. A total scam!” Yes, the Russia story is so fake that the FBI has been investigating it for a year. Also: Bigly is such a moron.

Bigly admires the Pence marriage. Bigly must read the blogs, because he was aware of the story last week that VP Mike Pence refuses to eat meals alone with any woman who is not his wife. Bigly told reporters: “I will tell you, he has one hell of a good marriage going.”

Susan Rice & the “unmasking.” Allegedly, Obama’s NSA Susan Rice was the Obama official who requested the “unmasking” of several people who were in communication with Trump officials. Which is sort of what I suspected – Obama did not “wiretap” Bigly Trump, but Trump and his people were at times caught in a larger NSA dragnet in which foreign nationals’ communications were being monitored. And Dr. Rice was one of the Obama people who knew who was talking to whom. Of course, now the Deplorables are like “PROOF!!1!!”

Mike Flynn is super-forgetful. He forgot to include all of his shady Russian speaking fees from his financial disclosure forms. So forgetful!

April is National Sexual Assault and Prevention Month. Bigly, an alleged sexual assailant of more than a dozen women, made a statement.

Last thing: this came out last week and I just never got around to posting it. Here’s a short video of Bigly compulsively organizing and reorganizing stuff in front of him. People wonder if he’s slightly OCD.

Another thing to add: Jared Kushner is in Iraq. I have no idea what even qualifies him going there, unless he wants to open a hotel.

    • Lightpurple says:

Oil. He’s there to steal the oil.

    • Nicole says:

      Nothing. Nothing qualifies him

      • INeedANap says:

He’s not qualified to do his original job of real estate management — Daddy got him that gig. But you will take the myth of natural-order superiority out of white men’s cold, dead hands.

      • Radley says:

The arrogance plus incompetence enrages me. This is a shining example of white privilege. Imagine if Obama had dispatched his brother in law to negotiate in the Middle East??

There are people who study diplomacy. There are people who have knowledge of international policy and law. Make use of those people. Just because they’ve made a career of government doesn’t mean they’re on civil servant welfare. The disparagement of career diplomats and the edification of spoiled know nothings like Jared by the Trump administration is totally sickening. I am LIVID!

        PS He will surely fail.

      • Imqrious2 says:

Has anyone been reading the LA Times editorial(s) about him? It’s 4 parts; the first was yesterday, and it’s SCATHING! Here’s the link to the first (you can click on the second (today’s) on top: http://www.latimes.com/projects/la-ed-our-dishonest-president/

      • Kitten says:

I LOVED that LA Times piece. One of the best I’ve read so far (and that’s assaying a lot).

      • swak says:

The second editorial is up. One of it’s lines is: “If one of his lies doesn’t work — well, then he lies about that.” How many times has he done a 180 on a subject – and always both are lies. Also am surprised he has not tweeted about the LA Times being “fake news” (or I missed it).

      • april says:

Yes, I loved the LA times articles (4-part series). Read the second one today. Thanks for sharing the link. So if you haven’t read it, I highly recommend.

    • swak says:

Because if something bigly and good goes down in Iraq, Trump can take the credit. (eyes rolling back now).

    • doofus says:

and another thing to add unless, I missed it?

the signing-non-signing of the EO on (I think) Friday?…

Drumpf walked into the room, made his little (fisted) announcement of the EOs he was about to sign, and took a few questions from the press. someone asked him about Flynn and he basically ran out of the room. without signing the EOs! Pence chased after him and was like “hey man!” and Emperor Bigly was like “you go get them, just grab them” and Pence looked surprised/dumbfounded/etc but dutifully went back to the podium and grabbed the papers.

what a scared little man he is.

      • Shambles says:

Adam Schiff said, ” you can say a lot of things about the president, but one thing you can’t say is that he’s subtle.” And it’s so true. That move was so glaringly, “HEY HI I AM GUILTY” that I would be embarrassed for the man if he wasn’t such human garbage.

      • bleu_moon says:

I thought it looked like Trump was heading for the exit before the question was asked. I still think he shows the early signs of dementia. He became confused about what was happening and so he bailed.

    • PunkyMomma says:

Why is Rex Tillerson, a guy with supposedly huge cojones, allowing himself to become a joke as Secretary of State? It’s apparent to anyone with a level head that Kushner is the de facto Secretary of State for Cheeto Mussolini — are there any people in congress, or in government authority who will stand up to this bulls@it? Where are the politicians of America before party? Someone has to point out that the Emperor has no clothes — and fast, before North Korea blasts the West Coast into oblivion.

      • Megan says:

@Punky Tillerson’s job is to make oil deals. He has no interest in foreign affairs or diplomacy. State department staff are not allowed to make eye contact with him, much less speak to him.

      • Jenns says:

The no eye contact thing is hilarious. Settle down, Barry Manilow.

      • Lucky Charm says:

“and fast, before North Korea blasts the West Coast into oblivion.”

They probably think that would be a good thing, since the West Coast is primarily blue and clearly not comprised of mainly Trump, or GOP, supporters.

    • NotSoSocialButterfy says:

      @ lightpurple,
      I agree wholeheartledly.

    • Tiffany :) says:

The list of things Jared is in control of in this Administration is LONG and terrifying and vast in scope.

    • WendyNerd says:

Didn’t you hear? Jared thinks he’s the only one who can fix the Middle East situation! THAT is what qualifies him! He’s just the best. The best guy. The top person. He knows how to fix the Middle East. He knows how to do it because he’s the best guy, with the best ideas, all the best words, the hottest wife, and he’s just got the… best ideas. He’s going to fix the Middle East. He went there to do that, and he’ll do the best job. Just the best. He’s got the best ideas, so he’s going to fix it. It’s going to be great.

      • Chrissy says:

        LOL! He’s so delusional…..

      • jwoolman says:

I dunno – an Orthodox Jew who’s besties with the Israeli leader might not be the best choice for diplomacy in the Middle East. Better to get somebody more removed from anybody involved in the conflicts. I actually knew a Quaker who acted as a go-between for shuffling messages between Israelis and Palestinians. Everybody knew he was neutral. He felt at some point they all had to admit they had done terrible things to each other at various times and move on… He also said that water was going to be a more important issue than oil.

  2. MunichGirl says:

Funny how no Trump supporter complains about the costs of his golf trips.

    • Lindy79 says:

Nope, they’re too busy screaming about Obama’s holidays even though he took less than any previous sitting President in recent years and certainly less in his first 100 days than this gobshite.

      • Annie says:

While President Obama was president I didn’t pay attention to politics much. Didn’t have to. An adult was in the White House. Therefore, I didn’t even realize President Obama’s vacations were an issue. All I ever thought while President Obama was in office was that he didn’t take all that many vacations. It seemed to me he did in August and at Christmas. Imagine my surprise coming to understand people were bitching about the few vacations he did take. And those same people do not bitch, now, about Trump. Hypocrisy, much?

    • Lightpurple says:

They counter with “but Obama golfed too!” and “Obama’s vacations!” and “but he isn’t taking a salary” even though people are giving them the facts about the actual number of golf trips, the self-dealing on Trump’s trips, the actual number and costs of Obama’s vacations against Trump’s, and the fact that the Orange Turd has now cashed three paychecks. They continue with their delusions.

    • Nicole says:

      Well trump is white so…
…thru were just mad that a black man will be remembered among the greatest to lead this country and it makes the sad racists really mad

      • IlsaLund says:

Which is why they are all so hell bent on erasing Obama’s legacy from history

      • PunkyMomma says:

Exactly. Trump is obsessed with removing any traces of Obama’s presidency. Obama humiliated him at the Correspondent’s Dinner and that moment is permanently stuck in Cheeto’s brain. It was okay to spend years questioning Obama’s citizenship, but the second Obama fought back and made a laughing stock of Cheeto, the die was cast.

      • Kitten says:

I was just thinking last night about how this quest for revenge started at a freaking comedy roast. SMDH.

The thing is, I HIGHLY doubt Obama was thinking about “fighting back” when he made that joke. He probably didn’t realize that he was dealing with such a humorless baby-fisted clementine and assumed that Trump would react in a good-natured way, you know, like most humans.

      • Shambles says:

        Kitten,

So you’re essentially saying that Barack HUSSEIN Obama (emphasis is Tomi Lahren’s, not mine) is responsible for the Donald Trump presidency? In which case….

        Thanks, Obama?

        😉

      • Kitten says:

LOL Shamby..yeah this is CLEARLY Obama’s fault. 😉

    • LadyMTL says:

Not to mention the cost of providing security for Melania and his son while they live in NYC. I’m not sure how accurate the numbers are, but I heard on the news (I think it was NBC) that it costs almost one million PER DAY to pay for that. If they move to DC after 7 months, for example, that would have cost the taxpayers over $200 million!

So what if President Orangepeel doesn’t take his $400,000 salary? He’s still leeched hundreds of millions out of the people’s pockets.

      • Lightpurple says:

That is what it is costing the City of New York. There are additional federal costs. The Secret Service has to rent out a whole floor of the building, from Trump himself and the Department of Defense has to rent space too.

      • Lama Bean says:

Interesting thing: even though he’s not taking the salary, he’s “donating it to charity”. We know his history with “charity”, but regardless of where he “donates” the money, he gets a tax deduction, so he still makes off like a bandit.

    • Beth says:

I mention this to my Trumpster parents. They always say that Obama golfed all the time and vacation in Hawaii. My mom insists that Trump pays for the security at Trump Tower and pays for all these trips to Florida. I get so frustrated that I want to rip my hair out

      • IlsaLund says:

What’s that expression? Denial ain’t just a river in Egypt.

      • Frida_K says:

Don’t get mad. Point at them and laugh. Say, “Bless your heart” and then, to nobody in particular, “Why, aren’t they sweet, so delusional, oh have mercy bless me Jesus” a couple times as you walk away.

It will outrage them, but who cares?

      • bleu_moon says:

My Trump parents say he golfs with people he’s negotiating with and that’s where wealthy people strike deals- on a golf course. They’ve seen all the TV shows and know exactly how rich people live.

        Plus he’s white…

      • Beth says:

@FridaK, yesterday as my mom and I were leaving, my father had the news on. The people on the news were commenting about Trump and the Russians and how he keeps trying to distract us with other things. I laughed and asked her if she was still happy and proud of voting for him. She snapped and said “shut up!, drop it!” I’m pretty sure she regrets and feels stupid, but won’t admit she was so wrong. Very few Trump supporters want to admit they were conned with his unbelievably obvious lies. It’s definitely easy to laugh at them

      • Annetommy says:

I feel sorry for you guys struggling with these parents. Mine – and RIP both – were polite, deceptively conventional internal rebels all their lives.

      • hnmmom says:

Sadly I have noticed my Trumpster parents just getting more and more entrenched in the crazy. It’s heartbreaking. I will never look at them the same and they have lost most of my respect. My husband is with his father this weekend, who my husband always thought was a pretty rational thinker. Since his dad has stopped working as much he has Fox News on all the time and he has become so awful, intolerant and bigoted. My husband almost came home, he said it is so bad. I think this weekend has done irreparable damage to the way my husband views his father.

      • Beth says:

@hnmmom, my father never shuts off friggen Fox News. I don’t know what happened to my parents. They were always Democrats and payed attention to facts. Fox News is known for making up stories and twisting the truth, but my dad doesn’t believe that. They voted for a guy who wants to take away the things they need, and I still can’t believe it. My parents have lost much of my respect too

      • noway says:

Yet all these Fox News loving people think that the fake media reports from the Russians had no effect on the election. If it has no effect, why the hell are they all parroting Fox News and watching it continuously. News Flash advertising, which is what this is works. Made my living in advertising, and trust me it is my favorite thing to hear people say it doesn’t affect me. Sure it doesn’t. In my advertising hey day you could put one message out there and immediately see the sales. Not so much now as the message mediums have diluted it, but the more sophisticated campaigns like the Russian propaganda machine can get the message out there. The world is full of suckers who don’t see they are being sold. Trump is the biggest bag of used goods anyone is selling, and I can’t believe so many bought it.

      • Tiffany :) says:

Its so sad. If you google “Fox News My Father”, you get all kinds of articles from people who say Fox News has changed their parents and have driven a wedge between family members.

        “The Brainwashing of My Dad”
“I Lost My Dad to Fox News”
“How Fox News and the Right -Wing Media Machine Made My Dad Crazy”

…it’s really sad. My father is in the same boat.

    • Esmom says:

I know. This weekend I saw Trump supporters on the NYT FB page saying how he hasn’t been golfing, he has been working weekends while at the gold course. Again, it seems that nothing, NOTHING, will make them back off their support.

      • Beth says:

I’ve read people saying because he was in Viginia and not far away from DC, so “libtards” need to stop the whining

    • Christin says:

These trips are to his for-profit properties. Can you imagine the immmediate outrage if another prez constantly did that?

      • Lightpurple says:

And the Secret Service has to rent golf carts from him.

      • Beth says:

When he does this, it shows what a sleezy, con artist, business man he is. I’ll never understand what his voters were thinking

      • Tiffany :) says:

Exactly. He is paying himself to have expensive dinners at his own businesses.

    • Shark Bait says:

Some of them think he is paying for it with his own money.
Also like lightpurple said, they counter with “Obama golfed too!” “We had to foot the bill for the Obamas to go to Hawaii” etc.

  3. Alix says:

I hate this cretin with every fiber of my being.

  4. Jules says:

It’s on when a white man golfs……………….no outcry from our racist GOP voters…………

    • Megan says:

Exactly. They didn’t really care that Obama was golfing, they just criticized every single thing he did because they are racists who needed to attack a black president nonstop.

      • Who ARE These People? says:

Yes, but I’d like to add they did care that he was golfing because it was a whites-only sport for decades. Obama as a black man was literally encroaching on their “turf.” Their safe (green) space.

  5. Tate says:

He looks like shit. Also, he sent his son in law to Iraq. What’s up with that?

  6. Lightpurple says:

The tweet about there being so much “love” in the Republican party to deal with healthcare sickened me. “Love” has nothing to do with depriving millions of medically necessary treatment.

And he is advertising Fox & Friends again this morning. Smells like he is on their payroll.

    • swak says:

IIRC, when AHCA failed, Trump said they would not pursue it anymore and just let Obamacare implode. So now he’s saying they’ve been working on it all this time. Can’t keep his lies straight.

  7. Lindy79 says:

Didn’t he also walk out of an EO signing because the press asked him questions, without actually signing anything leaving Pence standing there.

I love how this bloated mess decides he’s over talking about the Obama wiretap when he’s the one who brought it into the public domain by tweeting false claims.

And he’s not OCD, he’s just an ahole who doesn’t want items too near his tiny baby hands for size comparison reference

  8. Jenns says:

    Also, he just tweeted this:

“Did Hillary Clinton ever apologize for receiving the answers to the debate? Just asking!”
    https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/848857910297980928

    1. He’s still living in the campaign
    2. You can’t get answers to a debate question. It isn’t a pop quiz.

    • Lightpurple says:

And he would like us to forget that HE got questions to one of the debates too.

      • Beth says:

And he never even actually answered a question. During the debates, he just kept turning the questions around to blame Hillary for something. Pathetic and careless when he already knew questions

    • B n A fn says:

Everyone and their mother, Republican or Democrat knows Hillary did not need to be fed a question. The woman was the smartest one in the room, and he knows it. I still blame Comey and Wikileak for Hillary lost. Putting out negative info on one side done her in. Just before Comey came out she was leading the fool by about 4%. , I don’t care what anyone says. She was given a raw deal. Can anyone imagine this buffoon as president?

      • jwoolman says:

She did win the popular vote by at least 3 million votes, assuming no tampering with the totals (we don’t really know). So the polls were right and maybe Comey’s actions didn’t have that much effect. The Orange Maroon won the electoral votes by a very small margin — just 80,000 votes combined in the right handful of states would have given it to Hillary. I don’t think we really know who won because with those margins, hand recounts are needed to sort it out and that was simply not done (and in many cases could not be done because the machines had no paper backup). I knew something was off, though, when Trump sent his lawyers to block the recounts. The only reason to block a pre-paid recount is if you think (or know) you didn’t really win.

    • Chrissy says:

He’s just deflecting again. He’s scared to death about what Flynn will tell everyone about the Russian links and Trump’s connection to everything.. He always seems to bring up Hillary or Obama when trying to change the conversation.

    • jwoolman says:

I wonder if President Tweeter knows the alleged questions were for the primary debates? There is also no evidence that Hillary even saw them (and she certainly had no need to do so). I still suspect altering (not impossible to get past the authentication tools if you have the resources of a government and a team of excellent programmers) because the subject headings and contents were just too weird. But even if we believe they were real, there was nothing there that Hillary didn’t already know cold. Nothing was seen in the other stolen e-mails that indicated they actually passed them along.

  9. RussianBlueCat says:

” I will tell you, he has one hell of a good marriage going” If I was Melania I would be pissed by my husband saying someone else has a good marriage. It is like he is saying his own marriage is on shaky ground. On the other hand is Trump laying the groundwork for an announcement of a separation between him and Melania? I want to see if Melania actually moves to Washington in June

    • Megan says:

I would have no objections to my husband saying someone has a good marriage. Had he said they have a “real” marriage that would be different, because it’s pretty obvious Melania is a contract wife.

As for divorce, I don’t see that happening unless she is actually forced to move to D.C., which I also don’t see happening.

      • swak says:

Divorce comes when he is out of office and he will be the one to initiate it.

      • Ankhel says:

Trump probably thinks Pence’s has come up with a convenient cover for cheating – never taking his mistresses anywhere public, or treating them to anything. Trump’s greasy little conman heart warms with admiration, I bet.

      • AnnaKist says:

I’m with you on this, swak. If I were Melania, I’d be transferring *small* amounts of money into a private account, starting yesterday. I know they’d have a pre-nup, but a secret nest egg never goes astray. He looks grey and ill, so I’ll qualify my above statement by adding, “if he lives that long…”

  10. Ayra. says:

One thing that I’ve been really confused about and what has been bugging me for a while, is why hasn’t there been any commotion to remove him from his presidential duties for conflict of interest with all the has done with Jared, Ivanka and more?
Are the FBI waiting for more information about Russia to hit him with everything at once or is there some special procedure with COI?

    • Alexandria says:

Because the Republicans are special snowflakes and do not value country above party.

      • NotSoSocialButterfy says:

        Collusion, duplicity and avarice.

      • Ayra. says:

So for him to be removed because of conflict of interest, it depends entirely on the Republicans to start the process?

      • NotSoSocialButterfy says:

        @Arya
They control the House of Representatives and the Senate, and the Tantruming Tangerine occupies the position of president. It’s a tantrum trifecta. They are colluding, deceiving, and stalling, but we still have hope that the Justice Department and Supreme Court have some integrity. It is depressing af.

    • swak says:

Just a thought, but they may be waiting to get enough so that he can’t wiggle his way out of anything.

    • noway says:

The people who actually work for him would have to initiate conflict of interest proceedings, and this could happen with the Russia probe and Comey if they can find justifiable criminal actions. Now the congress could impeach him, but that isn’t going to happen until we have more Dems than Republicans, and we need the media to pursue it too for the public to buy into it. Honestly, I think we might have the public now, but the public’s attention span is short and we need the attention on the problem to keep it going. Remember Watergate took almost two years. Most normal people recuse themselves from areas they have interest in, but we aren’t dealing with normal here. Even the Attorney General, Jeff Sessions recused himself. I don’t think Trump will ever do that.

      • Ankhel says:

This is the problem with the two party system- the dominant party gets too strong and too immoral, who will stop them? It’s nearly two years to the next election…

      • Ayra. says:

Thank you for the explanation, as it’s quite different from the impeachment methods used here in France.
That’s more of a dangerous position to be in than I thought. From what I see, it looks as though they’re going to use him to pass as many bills as they can before he becomes either too uncontrollable for them or the FBI gets him for Russia, a little puppet.

  11. Patricia says:

With the OCD type behavior on that video: I think that he’s just a fidgety little shit head. He just likes to flick at stuff in a disgusted manner and is never content, even with the angle of the paper sitting in front of him.

I cant imagine what defense his bozo supporters have for his constant golfing. Didn’t he go on about how he would NOT be golfing, about how he would be working non stop?

And that whole post about how Russia is fake news and the wiretapping should be front and center… he is truly, truly spinning an alternate reality for his low- information followers to occupy. It’s truly dangerous because the shit is going to hit the fan at some point and how will they all react??

Celebitchy thank you for being here, commenters with brains thank you for being here. It’s such a solace to me.

    • Lindy79 says:

Any defense I have seen on the golfing is that he’s been doing business on the golf course. even though it was proven he’s only golfed with people that would apply to a few of those times.
They dont care, when he joked during the campaign that he could walk onto 5th Avenue and shoot someone, we all laughed but honestly, I believe that now.His supporters are die hard and simply don’t care what he does it what his ties are to Russia or how inept his administration are so long as he ejects all the brown people and builds that wall and throws a a few manufacturing jobs to middle america.

    • Kitten says:

He fidgets because he is nervous, uncomfortable, and deep-down he knows he doesn’t belong there and that he’s WAY in over his head.

I doubt he even fully understands or absorbs what is being said at these EO signings because he doesn’t understand policy. I think he fidgets because he’s anxious and eager to get the eff out of there. All of this inspires incredible confidence from the American public, because who doesn’t want a president who is completely and utterly incapable, with an apparent allergy to policy details?

      • Esmom says:

Yes, Kitten, this is exactly my take on him. He’s scared sh%tless at being exposed for the ignorant tool he is. The thing is, he’s already been exposed. I can’t think of a bigger farce, with so many in power complicit and enabling this buffoon.

      • nicole says:

Completely agree, underneath it all he knows he is out of his depth with being President.

  12. Darkladi says:
  13. Becky says:

He also said in the FT interview that he was willing to start hostilities with North Korea.

  14. Sixer says:

He really doesn’t like being President, does he? It never occurred to him that accountability would be a factor.

    • Becky says:

It appears it was all about “winning”, but governing is quite different. A hell of a lot of responsibility for a start.

      • Megan says:

I think he loves it. He is now the most famous person in the world. He will continue to be outrageous and provocative so he will be all anyone talks about. This is the ultimate substitute for the real love and admiration he desperately craves but is too self destructive to ever realize.

      • Nicole says:

“Ah winning was easy young man governing is harder” -Cabinet Battle #1

The Hamilton reference sums up Bigly’s campaign and ‘win’ perfectly!

    • kNY says:

I think he HATES the day to day. He covets the title, but doesn’t feel like it’s actually worth the work. His life has basically been other businesses using his name and him getting a cut. He’ll show up, cut a ribbon, call it a success. No substance involved.

      • Sixer says:

Yes. I think he thought it was like being Elizabeth II or somesuch. You show up, cut a ribbon, people applaud. Your minions bow and scrape to you and do all the actual work.

      • NotSoSocialButterfy says:

        @ Sixer-
This, precisely. He thought VP P*nis and the GOP grunts would do all the heavy lifting, which he could proclaim was his success, and gather the accolades.

Can’t wait until his low- information supporters get 3rd degree burns from him. If he isn’t impeached first.

    • Lightpurple says:

I don’t think he ever read the actual job description. Instead, he thought it would be more like a chairman of the board situation and he would show up for quarterly meetings, bark orders, and go back to what he was doing before. He never realized there was actual work involved, that he would have to read policy papers, and be answerable to anyone.

      • SusanneToo says:

He never planned to actually govern, that’s the VP’s job. trump only planned to MAG(rift)A.

      • Sixer says:

Yes. See above too. So a combination of Glorious Leader and Executive Director. Not actual accountability or, you know, the existence of an opposition.

    • Rapunzel says:

@lightpurple- what?? Trump got debate questions too? I never heard that. Details, please?

      Eta: wrong post. Sorry.

    • Chrissy says:

Sixer, I think he had no idea what being President entailed. He probably thought that he be seen as an Emperor who could do whatever he wanted and tell everyone what to do and they would bow down, say “Yes, Sire” and do his bidding. To heck with the Congress, the Senate, the Constitution, the FBI, Protocol, American Allies etc. etc. His eyes have been opened IMO and just looking at him, I can see that he’d rather be elsewhere.

  15. original kay says:

    His last tweet is priceless.

About Hillary getting the answers to debate questions. He meant getting the questions in advance! the replies are hilarious.

  16. Eric says:

And Jared’s in Iraq. And Diaper Bigly wants to go it alone in North Korea. And Icahn is a crook. And Wilbur Ross is a crook. And Emperor Zero has secret monies in a Cyprus account. And Scavino violated the Hatch Act.

And EZ-D continues to deflect/distract from RussiaGate and is purposefully interfering in an ongoing investigation via Devin “numbnuts” Nunes.

The end can’t come soon enough!

    Resist! Persist!

    • Chrissy says:

I really hope Nunes gets charged with Obstruction of Justice. What he did was outrageous. I hope the FBI are adding him to their list of Trump’s flunkies to take down.

    • jwoolman says:

Devin Nunes is very likely one of those “unmasked innocents” in the docs he scurried off to view all by his little self. That’s why he’s desperately trying to make the unmasking sound like a crime, which it really isn’t.

My guess is that proper procedures were followed. These were classified docs and they didn’t pass them around to people not in a position to need to know. Obama clearly didn’t do anything with it to affect the election. They must have seen something in those transcripts that suggested illegal activity, might be money laundering instead of evidence of collusion for interfering with the election, who knows. Not surprising that they were paying special attention to who was saying what to whom, to see the pattern. And not surprising that they took steps to protect the reports, considering the foxes were coming in to protect the henhouse.

  17. IlsaLund says:

He says “I don’t lose. I don’t like to lose.”

That says it all. It’s not about doing any actual hard work. It’s all about ego and being seen as the big dog. He was raised with the mentality of winning = good and losing = bad. He can never be seen as comprising or losing. It denotes weakness.

God help us all…we are subjected to a bunch of pyschotic, white alpha males.

  18. Lolo86lf says:

The Trump administration is like a horrible nightmare from which you can’t wake up.

  19. Eric says:

He’s on a twitter roll this morning. Probably some BIGLY news about to hit the fan.

    • IlsaLund says:

I believe it was the Washington Post editorial board that asked the question, ‘What is Trump hiding cause he’s obviously doing everything in his power to distract and obfuscate attention away from the Russian investigation.’

  20. Eric says:

Not making light of it, but maybe an important Russian source just died in the St Petersburg metro explosion. Just asking!

    • Rapunzel says:

Would not be surprised. I’d hope anyone who has intel would be out of Russia, and surrounded by bodyguards, lots of them. Putin is a ruthless SOB.

  21. Jenns says:

Another tweet in which he cites Fox News and tags the FBI. OMFG.

.@FoxNews from multiple sources: “There was electronic surveillance of Trump, and people close to Trump. This is unprecedented.” @FBI

    • Megan says:

Trump doesn’t seem to get that this “evidence” does not vindicate him, it implicates him.

      • Eric says:

        @megan
He does have an uncanny way of pointing his little finger directly at himself!😂

  22. Christin says:

I realize Joe and co-host are not popular here, but I tuned into the first few minutes of their show this morning. They were going at his weekend tweets and how concerning (and dumb) it is.

Maybe they are exaggerating their level of contact with those behind the scenes, but today they said that people around orange (I think they included family) have wanted to confront him in private, but cannot follow through. I wonder if even his nearest and dearest are getting their PR ducks in a row and leaking that they know there’s an issue, but just can’t do anything with him.

  23. Syko says:

Ya know, I think I preferred him orange. Without his makeup, he looks like something that had to be helped from its coffin.

I’m so tired of him, and despise him so much, and all his little cohorts.

  24. Rapunzel says:

Trump is the student that cheats in class and whines about the tattletale who brought his cheating to the teacher’s notice.

He’s also the student who argues points with no proof.

    • Chrissy says:

He’s so vindictive he would also do something horrible to the tattletale for making him look bad. And then lie about it.

  25. Rapunzel says:

Meanwhile, 10 dead in St. Petersburg, and as usual, Trump doesn’t care and would rather be on Twitter.

    • SusanneToo says:

Has he even mentioned Colombia? I guess hundreds of dead Colombians don’t put money in his pocket. Unless he can build a trump Xanadu over the ruins of their homes.

      • Chrissy says:

But those are brown people, SusanneToo. Not sure he has any properties there either. Ugh.

    • Christin says:

I think a very close family member of mine had OCD. She only moved things when it dealt with symmetry (being lined up a certain way). Such a sweet lady, who clearly could not control certain thoughts and actions.

He just seems nervous and fidgety to me.

  30. eggyweggs says:

He looks really pasty and powdery, like he’s rotting from the inside out. Like “I have to wear this powdered wig because the syphilis made all of my hair fall out” pasty and powdery. Maybe his madness stems from tertiary syphilis.

    • Shark Bait says:

Like Al Capone. He looks awful. He should go back to the cheeto tan!

      • eggyweggs says:

I think that, as with Al Capone, it’s going to take an accountant to bring him to justice. That’s why Bigly won’t release his taxes.
I also tend to think Bigly is gonna look bad however he styles himself so, sure, why not go back to the tan-and-bronzer look.

  31. Lisa says:

Loser. That’s all I can say about this guy. Just a bigly loser.

  32. Shark Bait says:

I took my kids to the kite festival in DC this weekend. My daughter said “I hope we get to meet Donald Trump.” I said “don’t worry, we won’t, I’m sure he is in Florida this weekend.”
I saw tons of teenage tourists wearing Make America Great Again red hats (they sell them in those stands on the street) and people were wearing red make America great again sweatshirts. It was awful, I side eyed all these people.

    • robyn says:

P*ssygrabber Trump supporters should be ashamed. I want to gag when I think of red hats, tic tacs and so many things that once seemed ordinary but now have a sleazy slime over them. So-called president Trump is so making America NOT great. :/

    • Angela82 says:

Saw them last weekend at the Cherry Blossom Festival. They must be getting bused in from the red states b/c you rarely see any Trump stuff in the DC area, even in the suburbs. One thing I did notice: not one minority among them.

  33. Anna nuttall says:

He look so white and ill in that photo.

  34. Shambles says:

    Y’all.
Maxine Waters is QUEEN OF EVERYTHING. Her comments to CNN were flawless, look them up if you haven’t read/ watched them.
I want to get her entire statement tattooed on myself.

  35. Deeanna says:

Wow! El Trumpster looked absolutely dazed at that Executive Order signing. WTF?

    Random thoughts:

1.) I feel really bad for those of you dealing with parents who are Trump supporters. Just try to be as kind to them as you can, I guess. There certainly does seem to be a kind of “brainwashing” that has taken place. Sadly, it may not be until he does something that affects them directly that they come out of their Trump-fog.

2.) With the amount of golf this idiot plays, his handicap must be really good, right? What is it? Anybody know?

3.) Trump may have won the election, but he has lost. Bigly. Because by winning, he has exposed himself as the incapable, petty, incompetent azzhole that he really is. The man craves love and respect. He will never get it. He will continue to lose – day after day after day.

Trump can whine and tweet about how badly the press treats him from now to next doomsday, but it will never, ever stop. Because the job of the press is to report on him and his performance. And his performance is and will continue to be shyte. Because he is absolutely incompetent.

4.) His physical appearance has deteriorated greatly in just the time since he was inaugurated. I have hopes that he will leave the Presidency due to health reasons.

    Resist! Persist!
Please, please take the time to contact your congressional representatives. Yes, they do indeed take note of the “incoming”, cumulatively if not individually. Email works best for me.

    • jwoolman says:

Part of that impression of deteriorating health is just that he’s not using the fake tanner or coloring his hair. He’s naturally very pale, which means red in the face happens easily. I think he looks better this way myself. He also doesn’t bother smiling and so we rarely see that awful Grinchy look. He lacks a sense of humor so smiling isn’t natural for him, when campaigning he was just doing it because people told him he had to do it.

So he might not actually be deteriorating physically as fast as it appears, although the weight gain isn’t good. But I don’t think he’s happy in the job.

  36. Eric says:

I’ve heard his handicap is about 4, which is pretty good. Of course, when you spend centuries golfing, you tend to get better.

For those dealing with close friends and relatives who remain in the Trump-fog this article is worth reading:

  38. JRenee says:

Well at this rate, if the properties are in the red, with enough visits, the American people will pay to get them back in the black.
    Unbelievable! !!!

  39. why? says:

Is the article about Susan Rice written by a Russian press outlet? The article also mentions that the Ezra guy, who was the person who gave Nunes “proof” is the leaker of the Susan Rice information. Why are Nunes and the 3 WH staffers given all of this power to disrupt the investigation? Why is Trump complaining about leakers when Ezra is leaking things to Nunes to stall the investigation?

Is it me or does Nunes story seem to change every time he appears? He first told reporters that there was unmasking, but when he spoke to Schiff he told me that the names weren’t unmasked, but that he could figure out the names. Now we are back to the names being unmasked? Why isn’t anyone calling Nunes out for all the lies he is telling?

    • jwoolman says:

What?!? You mean all the harping about unmasking is just that Nunes (part of the transition team, Trump supporter who knew the staff) could guess the names?!? That’s not “unmasking”. That’s called “knowing everybody involved”.

  40. Julia says:

    He’s bad at both. SAD
