Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s magical Parisian holiday continues! They arrived in Paris earlier this week, seemingly to mix business with pleasure by doing a series of appearances in between some relaxing tourist stuff, like shopping and going for romantic dinners. Last night, they attended the eighth annual (?) Series Mania festival at the Grand Rex in Paris. These are photos from the red carpet, where it seemed like Justin and Jennifer were the only stars in attendance.
While I’ve been enjoying Jennifer’s fashion in Paris in her other outings, I can’t say I like or respect this Givenchy dress. Then again, I rarely like Givenchy these days. There are times when a really crazy/architectural Givenchy will end up on a woman who can really carry it off, but those times are few and far between. This Givenchy isn’t even all that special – it’s just a high-neck tube dress with a cheap-looking ruffle. I think the “cutout” at the knee is supposed to be high-design, but it makes it seem like the dress is falling apart and/or unfinished. Aniston’s jewelry here is by Jennifer Meyer.
Something nice: I do think Justin and Jennifer look nice together. I would like to see Justin wear a flatter heel though? His wife is short, even when she wears heels. There’s no need for him to wear all of these lifts and heeled boots.

This is the earth orbiting back into place. Finally, FINALLY, the karma from the nasty affair reached her ex and even if she says she doesn’t care, she’s GLOWING because the universe is finally right again.
Kat: I’m not entirely sure you’re not being sarcastic but in my humble opinion Aniston traded up from Pitt to Theroux and that’s karma enough, I think. There were a whole bunch of horrible dudes in between (Vince V started off that loser-parade not so nicely – yuck!) but Theroux seems amazing.
@Kat. Jen split a couple that had been together for 14 years. That same karma will be looking for Jennifer. She should glow while she can, it is coming.

and yes, same goes for the Pitt/Aniston split; Jolie didn’t break that marriage up, Pitt did. though, from all reports, that marriage was on its last legs anyway.

She looks fine- her style isn’t risk taking, but nearly timeless. I think it ‘s a good choice and her man looks genuinely happy; not “commending” her for “his feelings”, IJS it’s a nice couple’s photo.
I wouldn’t mind taking some scissors to her hair, either.

I’ve been wondering about him. I wonder if the beard is the new hair cut/color that it is for women. He looks fresher somehow.
First thought when looking at the picture was: Has the seam let go? Quick, get a needle and thread. Next thought: How much did she pay for an unfinished garment?
I don’t like the cut out either, it makes it look like a seam came undone.

I think these shoes are horrible and the one thing I have consistently liked about Jennifer is her shoe game. She has some to die for, gorgeous pairs of shoes. These look clunky. Hey maybe that’s how her dress ripped:)
the back part does look a bit clunky but ends in a pretty severe spike. not sure I could walk in those (!) but I love the way they look.

It is such a great show, I’m excited for it, too. I saw that Carrie Coon is in Fargo now. She’s awesome. I look forward to seeing where the rest of the cast lands after this series is over.
I just started watching it last weekend (HBO ran a marathon of S1) and it’s my new obsession!! I can’t wait for Sunday!! JT, CC and really all of the cast is so good!! #alltheawards

While critics have really loved the show pretty much all along, there has been very little love from the Emmys, Globes, etc. Here’s hoping that season 3 brings the producers, writers, director (Mimi Leder-boss!), Coon, Theroux, Eccleston, etc. all the award nominations/wins they truly deserve.

Yes, here’s hoping!! Since I just got on board, I’m shocked that the only award nom has been for CC (SAG, I think?) although she’s deserving. Everything about this show is amazing!! Even the music is great…damn…so underrated.
While I don’t particularly care for this dress, I would love to own her closet of LBD’s.
She looks nice. The dress is fine. Very much inside her comfort zone. Let’s be honest, she’ll probably never leave it!
I never thought JT was attractive until I started watching The Leftovers. Yowza! And he is so good on that show! (plus I appreciate a guy that doesn’t prescribe to gender norms – let them all wear heels!)

pru, I had the same issue with Tom Hardy. so many folks were all “he SO HOT!” and I didn’t see it until I saw him IN something (not sure what it was…Inception, maybe?). but in motion he is DIVINE.
Agreed. I think it’s partly the fact that his wardrobe is “rugged male” on the Leftovers, plus the facial hair. It’s the metro look I don’t think brings out his hotness. And, yes, the talent–which is clear on the show too.
Eh, not a fan of the dress but at least she seems to be trying different styles lately? She used to get ragged over how she wore more or less the same dress for events.

Neither one has very far to fall. Consequently they can pull themselves together and look good. But it’s just good for them. They’re average looking people.
Aniston’s like your old friend from highschool, who had a couple nose jobs and works out all the time. You know, that woman.
She’s well pulled together, will never be caught with her gray roots (or his bald spot showing) but in the end they could more easily be your real estate broker and her interior designer husband, than glamorous people.

Agree she looks fantastic. Minimal weight gain, darker hair, lovely, toned figure and better sartorial choices have made her look years younger. The husband may have something to do with it as well, as in happiness. At any rate, #goalsfor48, or as close as I, a relative poor, can manage!

I confess – I love men’s heeled boots. I think the shape looks nice, nicer than a flat shoe/boot anyway, and it also lifts the butt the same way women’s heels do. Rock those heels, Justin!

There’s something navy about those stripes on Justin’s t-shirt. They both look great but the high neckline and the cut at the knee are creative touches that Jennifer’s dress could have done without imo.
Justin Theroux is hot. He is better looking than Brad Pitt
I kind of think the comparison is unfair. Pitt is in his fifties and, lately, looking great for that age bracket. Theroux is much younger and has spoken about his intense exercise regime especially for the Leftovers and his long-time avoidance of sugar.
I think Pitt’s looks were deteriorating for awhile probably due to alcohol and substance abuse of some sort as well as , possibly depression, which he has spoken of in the past. While he has def improved, to reach back in time to look forty-ish would probably look bad on him. By all means get healthy and in shape, but don’t look as waxy and strange again after some kind of facial work. IMO, he looks better without it.
Theroux is in his 40s – it’s not like he’s 20 years younger than Brad tho he looks it. So it is fair to compare the two.
I don’t agree that Pitt looks better he looked terrible at the lost city of z premier. He looked better during the allied promo because those photos were airbrushed. Compare the two premiere pix and you’ll see what I’m talking about.
