Megan Fox on marijuana, addictive tattoos & mutilating dolls

2009_transformers_revenge_of_the_fallen_031
Yesterday, I gave myself an embargo on Megan Fox stories. The girl just can’t keep her mouth shut, and every time she speaks it’s either something inane or crass. I was a little sick of it. But once I declared an embargo, it seems Megan was trying to reach in and grab me, force me to somehow repeat all of her dumb quotes. Anyway, Megan is now trying to clarify some of her old statements – but the statements she’s back-tracking from aren’t even the most offensive! She’s clarifying her quotes about marijuana – a few weeks ago we reported on Megan’s comments in her GQ UK interview where she talked about the legalization of marijuana. Megan’s words were, “America’s war on drugs is propaganda…I can’t tell you how much bulls**t I’ve been through because I will openly say that I smoke weed. People look at it like it’s this crazy, hippy, f***ed-up thing to do. And it’s not! I hope they legalize it and when they do I’ll be the first f***ing person in line to buy my pack of joints.”

Megan offered her justification for those quotes in a press conference for Transformers, saying that she’s not “going into clubs and using cocaine.” She just wants to see pot legalized:

Megan Fox has defended her comments about making marijuana legal.

The Transformers actress, who stars in Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen with Shia LaBeouf, caused controversy after her remarks about smoking cannabis in an interview with GQ magazine.

“I wouldn’t call it recreational drug use… that makes me sound like I’m going into clubs and using cocaine,” she corrected at a press conference in London, adding: “I talked about the legalisation of marijuana, which I think in the United States it should be.”

She added: “If alcohol is legal, I just think marijuana should be, that’s all.”

Megan also admitted that she’s torn between being completely open or staying schtum in interviews.

“I feel like I have the best intentions when I do these interviews and when I speak the way that I do, but it’s unfortunate when journalists choose to knowingly twist the meaning of my words,” she said.

“And that discourages me from being outspoken and honest, but it’s something I want to do. I hate reading or watching bulls**t interviews, and watching these things that have been created and presented to you on television, that are fake or manufactured. I am trying not to be one of those.”

[From The Press Association]

She hates people being fake or manufactured? This is Megan Fox we‘re talking about – the Budget Jolie, the girl who has “original” thoughts like claiming to be bisexual, whining about how beautiful she is, and making fun of anyone smarter than her. “Faux” is her middle name.

Also, I’ve got more brilliant Megan Fox quotes. Here’s one from Starpulse, about her early childhood: “I played with Barbies but I used to decapitate them. I used to take their heads off then dye their hair and do weird things.” Edgy. Megan’s so misunderstood, even as a young child with her original nose, chin, forehead and cheeks she was so much cooler and more destructive than any of us. Megan also was talking about her big, ugly tattoos recently, and said that tattoos are “definitely addictive. I don’t have any that I truly regret yet, but I’m sure I will at some point. I’m trying to refrain from going forward for that reason. I don’t want to be 40, looking at my arm in the mirror and going, ‘Oh my God — what did I do?” Too late! I already see this in Megan’s future.

You can’t get any more manufactured than this chick right here. Her management team’s plan to turn her into the next AJ is such a joke.

She could stand in as AJ’s stunt double, but that’s about it.

and you’re trying too hard. a person shouldn’t have to work at being genuine. the whole point is to just relax and be yourself. thats why it’s so obvious fox, jolie and most celebrities for that matter aren’t genuine people. because they have to try to seem like they are.

if she was really the honest person she claims to be she would come clean about all the plastic surgery she has gotten. when someone like her is held up as a beauty ideal they should be honest about doing extreme procedures to look they way they do.

Good for her for actually admitting that she smokes pot and wants it legalized. She’s right. If alcohol is legalized, why can’t pot be too??? It is ridiculous.

This article actually made me kind of like Megan Fox. Marijuana should be legalized, it would be good for the economy.

  11. Ned says:

I think she is doing the same thing many other actresses did in the 90s to get attention.

Angelina was one of them and that was exactly how she got attention.

    So, perhpas it still works.
If that fails she can always join the UN and do some photo ops with indigent people in Africa.

If that will stop working she can start collecting husbands and have affairs with engaged or married men.

Megan’s got 2 decades of a great PR textbook to get attention.

I can’t wait until this trouble maker starts promoting her movie ‘Jonah Hex’ next year with the other trouble maker, Josh Brolin. I wonder who will put their foot in their mouth first? Megan is hott & transformers should be good. She definitely needs to stick with action movies & keep her mouth shut. Also, I just saw ‘Hope in Faith’ – good God, & didn’t recognize her. She did get plastic surgery & darkened her hair. Totally had the lips plumped up!

  19. Christina X says:

She has an opinion most of America has.

    Big deal.

And as far as “mutilating dolls” is concerned, I thought everyone did that. My friends and I always abused Barbie dolls. Too bad none of us were putting on some artificial “tough” front.

And if marijuana was legalized, she’s probably stop doing it or stop talking about doing it, because discussing her penchant for weed is just acessory to her “hard-ass” image.

I can’t believe people fall for her schtick.

  20. Michelle says:

God, I’m really starting to dislike her. She tries way too hard to be “edgy” and tries to sound intellectual but ends up looking just plain stupid. It’s also kinda like she read interviews that Angelina Jolie gave ten years ago, switched and substituted a few words, and then regurgitated it out.

Megan Fox just seems like an obnoxious, bratty poser to me.

I always thought Megan was decent looking, but the newest transformers she kept pouting her lips in every scene.

Now her dumbass quotes? Geeze. Her tatoos honeslty are a bit too much. “Expressing herself” yeah bitch, right. She’s trying to overdo it! Honeslty the Monroe tat on her wrist really killed her look.

Whoever posted that she should just go to porn, I agree. Let a intellectual new actor/actress come into this Hollywood world.

  30. Think says:

Anyone with more than sawdust in their head has long since realized that pot should be legalized. The fact that it is far and away less harmful than perfectly-legal alcohol is beside the point. The real question is: Does any legitimate government have the right to tell grown men and women what they can ingest in the privacy of their own homes? If you answer yes then go pick up your Nazi armband from the dry cleaners. If you answer no then congratulations, you have common sense and are against tyranny instead of in favor of it.

I’m no fan of Megan Fox and certainly not of her trashy looking tattoos that make her look like she’s on her way to the dockside to wait for the Navy to come in but nobody with any sense thinks the “War on Drugs” should continue.
