Leighton Meester is a 23 year-old actress who currently stars on “Gossip Girl.” She tends to keep a low profile and we don’t hear much about her, although she made some headlines last year when she admitted that she was born in a jail. Her mother was serving time in a state prison in Texas for smuggling marijuana when she gave birth. She was released 16 months later and went on to raise Leighton.
Meester also has a new album coming out later this year in the “electro-pop” genre. She’s not bad, but she’s not exceptional, either. Her record deal with Universal Republic surely has more to do with her celebrity status than her talent.
TMZ is reporting that Meester’s profile may be elevated soon by the lesser-celebrities’ jagged route to fame - a sex tape:

We’ve learned a Meester tape is being shopped around town. It was shot a few years back, and shows Leighton in mostly innocuous though nude scenes — with several big exceptions … one involving her very talented feet.
We’re told a company called celebhotline.com is negotiating for the video. The company’s spokesperson, Kevin Blatt told us, “We’ve seen the tape and we’re hoping to close the deal.”
We contacted Leighton’s rep but so far … no comment.

TMZ is usually right about these type of stories and I would bet that a sex tape does exist. If it gets out it could work to Meester’s advantage. I hate to say that, because I know I would be mortified in that position, but look at Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian. Both of them rocketed to fame after their sex tapes were released. They each dealt with it, moved on, and continued showing up to every event with lots of fake hair and plenty of makeup as if nothing was wrong. Meester could get plenty of publicity for her music venture with this tape. She’ll fight it publicly and maybe she’ll sue, and it will get released or it won’t. If she can get over the shame we’ll all be talking about her enough for her to make a pile of money and get her face in the tabloids for a few weeks.
I know that’s a really cynical stance to take and that it’s not fair to compare anyone to Kardashian or Hilton. If there is a tape and it was taken without Meester’s permission to distribute it she should of course sue and it will hopefully be blocked. This is just yet another example of why you should keep sexy times undocumented.

I actually like her so I hope it doesn’t lead her down the same career path as Kardashian and Hilton. She actually has some talent and deserves better than a reality show and Playboy.

Regardless, Leighton is still an amazing actress. I feel this is being blown way out of proportion. She’s an adult, as is her boyfriend. And, it was years ago. How about we all go back to anxiously waiting for the return of Gossip Girl?

The things those young “actresses” (?) would do these days to get their name out there.
If she is 23 and indeed she was filmed many years ago- she’s got nothing to worry about since it’s illegal.
I just don’t think that “tape” exists or that it was “made” years ago.

I feel slightly intrigued that someone like Leighton Meester might have a sex tape out.
At the same time,I do feel sorry for her,as an ex would actually try to capitolize on her fame.
She seems like such a good girl,so if the tape does indeed exist,hopefully no one gets to see it.
As for talented feet,can’t imagine what that means.lol……..Her boyfriend at the time must of had some kind of foot fetish.

Yes, the tape is out. Yes, there are stills, and yes, what I’ve read says she has talented feet, and it doesn’t mean dancing. lol (and no, I haven’t seen anything other than words pertaining to it, because I refuse to click the photo links.)

Why is she wearing professional makeup and has her jewelry on?
Even her hair is with that blond highlights she has been sporting lately.Looks like a cheap publicity stunt.
Very sad she is doing whatever she can to brand herself as a “naughty lolita”.
The guest appearances as a promiscuous young woman in Entourage and (especially) House are one thing, but this is way lower.
