Back in April, Brandi Glanville and LeAnn Rimes seemingly buried the hatchet. They posed for a selfie – posted on Brandi’s IG – and Brandi later said that they had gotten together and hashed everything out at long last. No one really believes the peace will hold. I mean, Brandi and LeAnn have “made peace” before and it’s never stuck. It always ends in drama, usually when LeAnn crosses some line with one or both of Brandi’s sons, Mason and Jake. So, let’s see… LeAnn posted the above Instagram for Stepmother’s Day, which was a few days ago. Brandi has asked LeAnn repeatedly to stop posting photos of Mason and Jake on her social media, but LeAnn never stops. Anyway, LeAnn attended the American Idol finale (why?) and she ended up chatting with E! News about how she makes a blended family work:
Despite some rough waters, LeAnn Rimes says it’s smooth sailing with her stepsons’ mother Brandi Glanville the ex-wife of Eddie Cibrian. Last night at the American Idol Finale in Los Angeles, the country singer talked to E! News about how their modern family makes it work.
“The key to doing it right? A lot of grace. A lot of not taking things personally,” said the 35-year-old star, who is a stepmother to Jake Austin Cibrian, 11, and Mason Edward Cibrian, 14.
“The kids are the most important thing and they know the love is there and like any blended family everybody sees, even though you don’t think the kids see, everybody sees the ups and down,” said the “Blue” singer, who has been married to Eddie since 2011. “They know everyone loves them, they know everyone is committed and we’re always there for them.” She then joked, “As long as us adults can act like adults which seems to be an issue sometimes.”
Despite some serious past turmoil with the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, LeAnn said, “I know I can speak for myself and I can speak for Eddie, but little things don’t bother us any more.”
Honestly? It’s been almost a decade since LeAnn and Eddie got together. By that I mean, Eddie was married to Brandi and he was cheating on Brandi all over the place, and LeAnn ruined her own marriage to Dean Sheremet by stalking Eddie until Brandi finally got fed up and dumped him. It’s been about nine years since all of that went down. You would think that they could have buried the hatchet a long time ago, but no. Now, suddenly, nine years later, LeAnn is acting like she didn’t spend the better part of a decade Single-White-Female-ing Brandi and starting dumb sh-t with her. Sure, whatever. It will be fun when this sh-t blows up again.

Yea Alternate Title: Leann realizes no one buys her victim act and makes “peace” with the woman who’s life she stole.
Who is Leann kidding? She acts like we didn’t see her SWF Brandi for years and purposefully bait her. Heck their reality show tried to paint her as crazy and it just made Eddie and Leann look desperate.
Brandi only has to survive a few more years until the kids are 18 and then she’s home free.
I cannot believe Eddie stayed with her this long. I know everyone thinks he’s with her for her money, but I don’t think she has any.
I doubt he’s able to maintain a home in their preferred zip code by himself, so what else is there (assuming she is running low on money). I doubt any wealthy women are lining up for him these days.
Ed may be making other plans.
He has this new show plus there are RUMORS he will be on next season of American Horror Stories. There were articles about it.
Lets face it, Leann’s lifestyle has diminished drastically sense her hay day of wooing Ed w cars,Rolexes,designer clothre, Cabo vacations on yachts and 15,000 tree houses for the boys.
LeAnn alone use to wear outfits totalling $20,000.

She is literally the last person who should be asked how to make a blended family work. What a joke. And at this point there’s no way those young boys are getting away unscathed from the last decade of selfish foolery from the adults in their lives.

Hasn’t Brandi said as much? I seem to recall her stating that LeAnn was a great stepmom and that the boys love her.
yea I’ve heard that. Leann may cross the line with Brandi, but the boys seem to adore her. I know someone like that-she doesn’t think about her actions in regards to the mother of her step kids, however she would do anything at any time for those kids. It’s interesting.
TBH I see it totally differently! To me, the one sitting next to her does not look too thrilled or genuinely smiling. More like he’s grimacing because of a snake dangling over his shoulders. Note he’s not fake-casual-neck-hugging her back, he has his left arm in protective barrier mode keeping her from getting closer to him.

I saw her step mother day Instagram story.
The youngest was not thrilled and he use to the one who interacted with the most.
When there are pictures he stands near dad or his brother.
He posed in pictures with w Ed a lot on his Bday while had to use a old picture.
I have no clue what happened but Its been a drastic change.
The oldest has a life away from everyone else as a teen dating and having fun.
I can get my boys to smile like that for five bucks 😂

So I was watching the AI finale when she came on and sang Blue with one of the finalists and her little sister (who is seriously the cutest stinkin kid in the history of kids), I completely forgot what a voice Leann has.
It’s so sad she’s thrown away her career on petty shit, because she could be at the top, but she’s more interested in tabloid celebrity.
It is sad. She has wasted an amazing gift.

The last two gigs she actually showed up for was a gym/ recreational center and hotel.

Lol riiiiiiight, I just saw an article maybe yesterday on daily mail and LeAnn bought herself the exact same ring Brandi’s ex boyfriend bought her last year. It’s a unique looking ring so there’s no way she didn’t know, or maybe Eddie knew since she’s claiming he bought it. This chick is still insane and stalking Brandi, but good for them if they can hide it for the sake of the children. I hope one of them writes a tell all book one day about how crazy she is.
It’s so funny seeing a story about them this morning because last night I saw a commercial for Eddie’s new series. He has a show with Rachel Bilson and it starts on ABC in mid June. Just glad to see this dude is getting out of the house ☺

All I got is those boys are gorgeous. I can’t believe how fast they have grown. I don’t follow all her & Brandi’s craziness on social media. I only follow coverage on here. I haven’t seen the boys since the whole fiasco started. Now, they are young men. I feel so old. 🙂
What are she & Eddie doing for money? I don’t get how they live an affluent lifestyle when neither one works steadily. I quick check of Eddie’s IMDB page shows he has worked fairly steady in the last few years but nothing significant. We know she is not selling out any shows or recording any hits.
Who is paying for all of these vacation trips” she is always posting about? I guess the same people paying Tori Spelling to vacation. SMH…….

I always thought Eddie was so ridiculously, incredibly handsome back in his Sunset Beach days, and he’s aging annoyingly well. That salt & pepper is doing him right. SO right. What a waste!

An outlet reported Ed was using Rachel as a decoy while he is really ALLEGEDLY dating an assistant on the set.
But that’s not true bc LeAnn” is the only one who matters” and “divorce is not an option”.

Some things never change. I remember one of the DM articles I noticed years ago was about a large stone ring that turned out to be exactly like the ex had. Plus the cancellations and trying to prove “true love”.
I guess the one difference now is few if any bikini strolls on luxury vacations. Now it’s plaid and hats in Montana (singin’ for supper, maybe). So there is that.
Hilarious. SWFing Brandi for years and refusing to let her husband co-parent with the Mother of his children, is such a perfect example of “grace”. I see she’s cancelling a lot of her performances again. She’s still getting photographed out and about looking absolutely fine, when she’s supposed to be deathly ill. It must be hard being on peen watch this many years into her relationship. It isn’t normal for the spouse of an actor to follow them to the set every day. It screams insecurity and lack of trust.
They’ve all had their messy periods – LR, EC and BG – but credit to all of them: they’ve maintained a fairly stable shared custody agreement for a long time without back and forth. The kids spend time with both parents, and it looks like one parent chips in when the other has work commitments etc.
I’m sure that takes a lot of work – especially considering the bad blood between them – and it’s a situation that many divorced couples cannot manage. I give them all credit for it.
I don’t think EC has ever disparaged BG’s parenting skills in public, and vice versa.
