Kylie Jenner deleted all her social media photos of Stormi Webster’s face

happy birthday North & P.. 🖤

A post shared by Kylie (@kyliejenner) on

For months now, Kylie Jenner has been posting photos of her daughter Stormi Webster on social media. Stormi is a real cutie, and I was actually a bit happy that Kylie didn’t seem to want to hide Stormi away. Kylie went dark through so much of her pregnancy, and she returned to ‘gramming and Snapping soon after she gave birth. But as soon as people got a good look at Stormi, a lot of people were like… “huh, this baby looks like she has some Asian blood.” Tyga is half-Vietnamese, and Kylie’s hot bodyguard is an Asian-American cop named Tim Chung. Kylie has always claimed that Travis Scott is Stormi’s father, but that hasn’t stopped people from noting over and over again that the baby looks absolutely nothing like Travis. People leave comments on Kylie’s social media all the time about it. So… Kylie decided to delete all photos of Stormi’s face from her social media.

Kylie Jenner recently deleted all photos showing her 4-month-old daughter Stormi‘s face from social media — and a source tells PEOPLE the new mom plans on keeping it that way for a while.

“Kylie felt so protective of her baby when she was pregnant. This is why she didn’t share any bump pictures while she was pregnant,” says the insider. “After Stormi was born, Kylie was the proudest mom. She couldn’t wait to show off Stormi to her fans. She posted pictures, because she was so excited to be a mom. Unfortunately, social media is a crazy place,” continues the source, noting that “people have been making nasty comments” about Jenner’s baby girl.

“Kylie is shocked and doesn’t want her daughter’s pictures to be a part of something negative,” explains the insider. “She might reconsider in the future, but for now, she won’t post any more photos of Stormi’s face.”

On Sunday, Jenner, 20, posted a makeup-free selfie featuring just a peek of her baby girl’s forehead on Instagram. In the comments section, users inquired as to why so many photos of Stormi had been deleted.

“Yeah I cut my baby out. I’m not sharing photos of my girl right now,” replied Jenner to one user who asked why she had “cut her baby out” of the new snap, according to E! News.

[From People]

If you couldn’t tell, I believe that Kylie did this because of all of the paternity speculation, especially as Stormi gets older and her features “come out” more. The baby clearly looks like she’s part Asian, and many of the comments on Kylie’s Instagram reflect that. Do I think it’s unfair and mean? Eh. A little bit. But I also think that there was always going to be some paternity speculation with Stormi, quite honestly. No matter how much Kylie and her family want to whitewash the conception dates, I’ve never been convinced that Kylie wasn’t dating both Travis Scott AND Tyga when she got pregnant. And maybe (hopefully) she was also banging Tim Chung on the side.

I feel sorry for Stormi having to grow up with this speculation, but she is totally Tyga’s baby.
That bodyguard is hot, though! Wow!

    • PoodleMama says:

Even if she is not she just looks so much more like him than Travis. Although there hasn’t been any stories about Tyga getting evicted or having his cars repossessed recently so maybe he is the father…

I wonder if we are going to get anymore pap shots of her and Travis or if that’s part of why she’s doing this.

    • Kitten says:

I think the speculation is super f*cked-up TBH. I mean, on one hand I hate defending anyone in this family and yes, they’ve put so much of their lives out there for public consumption that the speculation is almost inevitable…but still, the baby doesn’t deserve that.

And yes, holy hell her bodyguard is sexy AF. Damn.

      • Olive says:

exactly, these are real people. Easy to forget with the reality TV Kardashian side, but Travis’ parents, his brother, all his family are spending time with Stormi and love her. We’ve seen videos and photos.

      • HeyThere! says:

Kitten, same! That body guard is nice! I hope Kylie was getting that but I highly doubt it. Lol Stormi is a cutie no matter what! Also, your ‘father’ is the person who looks after you and cares for you so if Travis is doing that, yes he is the father.

    • MeowuiRose says:

The baby has brown skin tho and as much as the Kardashians try and be black, they wont ever be….so I doubt it’s the bodyguard’s but maybe Tyga???

    • Anna says:

The problem here is nothing whatsoever had to be said about who the dad was. BUT, it’s Kris Jenner and her flock of liars who just have to perpetrate a lie. Kylie’s pregnant. She’s a single mom. The father of her child will remain a private matter PERIOD. Like many single mom actors who adopt or choose not to disclose the father. Kris gotta lie. She will have a seizure if she doesn’t. Travis Scott needs exposure and I am sure she doubled his fortune to be in this “relationship”.

  2. mamacita says:

where is jerry springer when we need him?

  3. Umyeah says:

I love that she posts a picture wishing her nieces happy birthday with a picture of herself lol.

  4. PoodleMama says:

Taking the photos down isn’t going to silence the paternity questions. But I do support not having your children’s photos all over social media when they are too young to decide for themselves if that’s what they want. Let’s see how long this last though because delete Instagram photos is Kardashian Stunt Queening 101 (example: Kendall when she got her lips done)

    • jwoolman says:

Yes, it’s much safer for people to not know what her baby looks like.

Plus all the speculation must be a tad depressing for the adults involved. If Travis acts like a father, he is the father. It only takes a second or two to become a sperm donor so that’s irrelevant.

  5. ChillyWilly says:

I don’t care who this trick’s baby daddy is but that bodyguard is FOINE!!! More pics of him please.

  6. Ratsy Pomona says:

Hmm, I don’t follow her social media but she claims the baby is 4-months old, but supposedly she’s trying to walk (from what I’ve read others report). It’s more than strange. Maybe little Stormi’s much older than she’s claiming?

    • jwoolman says:

I would not be surprised if she hid the baby long enough to prevent any speculation that Tyga was the sperm donor. That seems like a common practice amongst the famous. Sarah Palin did it with her pillow baby (undoubtedly actually Bristol’s first), he was clearly not a newborn when they posed with him outside the hospital. Bristol also seemed to do the same with her next two children, messing around with the public birth dates to fit her narrative.

  7. Baby says:

I rarely comment but I just had to pop in and say that I am 100% white (my DNA confirms it) but I looked full on Asian when I was an infant. My dad thought they messed up at the hospital at first and I got switched. A lot of pple in their family have almond shaped eyes – it’s definitely possible that the baby isn’t Asian.

    • aang says:

I’m 1/2 native american and when I was born the nurse asked my mom, way back in the unPC 70’s, “is the father oriental?” But to be fair I still look vaguely asian/pacific islander.

    • Jordan says:

My best friend is Italian and so is her fiancé (Italian-German). She’s got the olive complexion and Adam is as looks as light as me (I’m French mostly). Their second child, little man apparently came out six shades darker than Adam. They showed me pictures and told me about how the nurses gave Adam looks right after little man was born. He looked like he wasn’t Adams. Now fast forward four year later, and he’s the splitting image of his dad. From that, I think it’s too early to tell the paternity for this. My daughter looked just like her dad when she was born, so much so I joked I gave birth to the female form of her dad LOL

    • Jenns says:

Mexican and white here, but my coloring and what I think of as my Welsh eyes (very almond and hooded as a baby) had people certain I was part Asian as well (I still get guesses that I’m part Filipina).

I think MANY babies start out with almond shaped eyes or smaller lids, especially when some babies have such chubby faces, it’s less eye shape and more face squishing 🙂 I think what is more telling is if Stormi spends time with Travis Scott’s family. They would know and probably include her and Kylie accordingly.

      • Grumpy says:

I have Welsh and Irish blood and when I was a child my eyes looked totally asian, even at high school I got called ‘slitty eyes’. These days they are Renee Zellwegger style. I am pale skinned and blue-eyed.

    • Marigold says:

Same. I am Irish and Scottish and looked very Asian as a baby. People are still shocked 37 years later when my mom tells them a picture of baby me is, in fact, me.

    • bucketbot says:

Reminds me of all the paternity concerns surrounding Prince Harry all through his teen years. Now we know he is the spitting image of the Sea Duke in his youth. So much unnecessary drama and grief caused by the media and royalists.

    • Kitty says:

Khloes baby has almost the same eyes as stormi, no body seems to mention that one

      • Sophia's side eye says:

Probably because little True looks just like her daddy who has almond shaped eyes. It’s different with Travis. I’m not saying the speculation is okay, you can’t tell paternity by looks especially on a baby that changes every day.

  8. Babs says:

Yeah this baby looks nothing like Travis but looks nothing like former-Kylie either and I think it’s pretty awful to question someone’s paternity, I know this family asks for people being nosey but this baby cannot do anything about it.
I relate a little because my baby looks nothing like his father and some people are joking about it, they mean no harm but still it’s really hurtful to me.

  9. Wigs says:

That baby’s Tyga’s, but I’m willing to give Kylie the benefit of the doubt and maybe she really did believe it’s Travis because only a heartless person would willingly make a man raise a child that they knew wasn’t his. It’s time to own up now cause even for the Kardashians this one is pretty cold, making a man raise a child that isn’t his.

  10. Va Va Kaboom says:

Removing the photos was the right decision for many reasons. I hope she sticks to not posting photos of Stormi’s face, as she gets older it will allow her at least a little anonymity.

    • Naomi11 says:

I give her a couple of weeks, and no doubt she’ll be posting baby pics again.

    • Heat says:

Isn’t the new season of KUWTK coming out soon? Time to start brewing up some speculation/drama.
Also, that baby really does look more like Tyga.

  11. courtney says:

this kid is going to have such a privileged but messed up life. i hate to be the cynic, but i think the uploading and then later removing of all these photos is typical kardashain strategy. she put them up for attention/fame/etc and removed them later to appear to be a decent parent, trying to protect her kid. damage is already done. she will exploit this baby just like every other member of this family. no one is off limits, very sick and sad.

    • Naomi11 says:

Agreed. You hit the nail right on the head with your comments. I feel you’re 100% right.

  12. Lillian says:

I’m an aunt and there’s no way I’ll ever post a picture of my nephew. People are terrible.
His privacy is sacred to me.

If I become a mom, no way.

    Good for her

  13. ChrissyMS says:

Wow, who would have thought that the smartest Kardash/Jenner would be Kylie?

    • Rachel in August says:

I don’t think this is about being smart at all. I think it’s about maintaining the lies they’ve already told. The baby is much older than she says and that’s why all the secrecy around the birth date … she was still seeing Tyga when the baby was conceived. Also Kris Jenner’s response to the rumours of it being Tyga’s baby: “Just a bunch of silly rumours.” Can’t come up with some more original, Kris? Lame statement on her part. Also, the body language between Travis and Kylie suggest to me a friendship, not intimacy. Stormi is starting to look like Tyga, so this “good parent” and “privacy” stuff? Complete horsesh*t 🙂 When did you ever know a Kardashian to not lie about something? I mean ANYthing? Unless of course intense pressure from a sibling to come clean about a surgery procedure, e.g. Khloe telling Kylie to come clean about her lip injections. (Oh, the hypocrisy). That’s Tyga’s kid. Travis Scott is just a pawn so she could put his name on the child’s birth certificate. “Oh the tangled webs we weave when we practise to deceive.” Tyga did say it was his baby and then retracted the statement by saying it wasn’t his. Probably paid handsomely by the K Klan to say that, too. I had to laugh at statements made around the pregnancy that Travis was present and involved. Riiiighht, lol. No doubt they’ve paid him too.

      • minx says:

They lie like they breathe. I think this baby is older than she’s supposed to be and so is Khloe’s because someone else gave birth to her.

  14. Ib says:

Remember when everyone was convinced baby Suri cruise was part Asian? Yeah. And is clearly her fathers daughter from looking at her now. This speculation is deeply disrespectful and unhelpful for the kid who has to grow up and live her life.

    • A says:

Yup. This kind of speculation is really bad, especially because it so often winds up being completely untrue, but by then you can’t take back the years that was spent speculating about this and the toll it takes on the child especially.

  15. sam says:

If she was shocked by people leaving nasty comments then she’s either very naive or just dumb…or both. I mean she’s not new to social media, she should know by now that it’s a toxic place. Doesn’t matter if you’re famous or not, putting your kids on social media is a bad idea imo. I also feel like there’s an issue with consent, the kids haven’t consented to being shown on their parents social media and I don’t think parents should post photos of their kids until the kids are old enough to understand social media, and at that point they should be asked “Do you mind…”. I see parents post (somewhat) embarrassing photos of their kids on fb all the time, it used to be that embarrassing childhood photos were hidden away in a photo album…now they’re online for the world to see. This is an unpopular opinion…I’ve been told.

    • Kitty says:

I don’t see a problem with putting my kid on Facebook…now I don’t have people from all the world looking at my pics either. My friends and family can see them, that’s all. And I don’t put up embarrassing pics, no naked pics, no tantrum pics. My daughter had her ears pierced a few weeks ago, my mother in law wanted to post a video of it on Facebook but my kid was crying a bit, I told her no, she wouldn’t want everyone to see her crying like that.

      • Jordan says:

All of my family is in Georgia and I’m in Washington. I post pictures of my kiddo so my family can see her. I don’t have people I don’t know on my list. I’ve a mere 118 and I know every last one of them. I won’t post on my Instagram of her face or much less her since it’s so open on there though.

      • Kitty says:

I had this argument on imgur this morning. Someone saying I could stay in contact through FaceTime and Skype. I have 20 aunts and uncles( not including their significant others), 47 first cousins, three living grandparents, two brothers, one sister, two nieces, two nephews, mom and her husband and family, dad and his wife. And add in my spouses family, which is small, but I’m very close to. We are all spread out in every corner or Canada and even in Ireland. Facebook is just so convenient.

    • Wren says:

Unpopular or not, I’m right there with you. I’m a super private person and the thought of baby and childhood pictures of me being shared on social media gives me the shivers. What some of my friends think is acceptable to post astounds me. Thank goodness all the embarrassing photos of me are safely in photo albums where you actually have to physically drag them out of their box to see. However, there are a few couples I’m friends with that very, very rarely post pictures of their kid or even post about them much at all, so we’re not alone.

      • OriginalLala says:

i have friends who regularly post all sorts of naked pics of their toddlers and also post about their tantrums, poop situations and meltdowns, all to be funny and get attention and I feel like these kids would not be happy to be the butt of their parents’ jokes on social media.

  16. AnnaKist says:

None of us knows who the baby’s father is, regardless of whom (who? God, I forget!) Stormi resembles. I’m glad K has taken down all her baby’s photos. Keep children off those things, I say.

  17. A says:

Hmm. This is not what I heard. Apparently the nasty comments were more along the vein of people threatening to kidnap Stormi. I don’t blame her for deleting those pictures.

Don’t know who the father is, but I remember a lot of people asking if various family members of mine were Asian when they were babies, even though none of us are. One of my uncles still gets asked that on the regular. I can’t tell you who the father is, but in my experience, people are always really quick to project what race they think you are onto you, even if it couldn’t be further from the truth.

  18. Lynnie says:

Supposedly Travis’ mom has asked for a paternity test too so…

Whatever they’re hiding will come out eventually. They should just post another 11 minutes video explaining everything paternity/timeline wise since that worked so well the last time smh lmaoooo

  19. Janet Gerber says:

For the love of God, if she didn’t hit on her bodyguard, she should. He’s as fine af. But like Jen aniston, her picker is off. Judging by Tyga, she gravitates towards the losers, sponges, cheaters, etc. I know nothing about her other boyfriend.her bodyguard also has a job. Seemed like Tyga’s job was living off Kylie, his much younger girlfriend whom he groomed while she was a young teenager.

  20. me says:

Kylie hasn’t gotten much press lately. This was her way to get back in the headlines.

  21. Rachel in August says:

That picture of her holding the baby? All about her, not the baby at all. What a poser.

  22. RspbryChelly says:

I read she took the the pics and stopped posting her face bc of some apparent threats. I don’t think this will last long though, if her baby is giving her attention, she’ll use her

  23. Amanda says:

I wonder if Tyga is on the payroll now or if it was just a lump sum payout. He sure did pipe down about paternity really quickly and I haven’t seen any stories about people repossessing his stuff or evicting him lately

  24. HannahF says:

    1. I also read that she deleted the pics and upped security because of credible threats of kidnapping.

    2. My dad was convinced niece #2 had been switched at birth because she was so swarthy looking–today she is blonde hair and blue eyes.

    3. A carpool mom asked me whether my bro and I were adopted==I’m short with dark hair and eyes and he’s tall and lanky with blue eyes and, at that point, a complete towhead. Said mom had obv never met my dark haired dad– only my blonde mom.

    4. People have long thought my dad had some Asian in his background due to eye shape and hair color. Per 23 and me–he’s 99.8% Ashkenazic Jew. Looks can be deceiving…

  25. Jag says:

Duplicate post due to timeout error

  26. Jag says:

I don’t understand why she’s not getting a paternity test and posting it on her Instagram for all the world to see that Travis is the father. (I don’t think he is.)

Isn’t the bodyguard her ex-bodyguard? I read that Travis didn’t want him around anymore, and didn’t he himself say that she was a past client? (I would hope that he’s the father.)

  27. ennie says:

Ir really thought that telenovelas would cease to exist as tv evolved into internet series and such, who would’ve guessed that some people would willingly and shamelessly sell their lives and stage them for public consumption?
