Ugh, could she be any more high school.

  2. Skittlebrau says:

Where he’s totally moved on but still grudgingly agrees to hang =\= BFFs forever

  3. stinky says:

Sounds like ‘friends with benefits’ is all to me.

  4. Betsy says:

    Someone’s nose looks freshened up.

  5. Deanne says:

I know a guy whose needy ex was his “best friend”. She interfered with every relationship he had for years. Overstepping every boundary to make sure every woman who came within 5 feet of him, knew how incredibly close they still were and always would be. She also tried to paint every new girlfriend as insecure for finding her behaviour inappropriate and was always lying about them and telling him that they weren’t good enough for him. It took him years to see what she was doing and it was kind of pathetic. I get the feeling that Lena could make her look like an amateur.

Hmm…I don’t care for Lena but that Jack guy is no big catch. They are both obnoxious.

      • Ankhel says:

Yes. If Lena plans on being the kind of friend who sabotages all his relationships, she’ll be doing the rest of us a favour. ( You know she’ll try the “If we don’t have anyone by that age…” ploy too.)

      • Deanne says:

Fully agree with that. I just get the vibe that she’ll use the “best friends” think as a way to interfere with him moving on. The guy I know wasn’t exactly the catch of the century either.

  6. Frosty says:

I love Helen Mirren, but this is a no. Actually the only one I can remember looking good in D&G is Christina Hendricks.

    • lucy2 says:

I don’t care for the dress, but the designers behind it are appalling people and no one should be purchasing their stuff.

    • minx says:

Don’t like cabbage roses on Helen at ALL and the designers are odious.

    • Frosty says:

Yes, he’s mean, and I long ago got bored with the bitchy fashionista stereotype. Still, I refuse to get wound up about him. He likes to be cutting and outrage people. IMO his talent doesn’t justify the level of his mouthiness.

    • Janetdr says:

She looks good for somebody’s grandmother at Ascot, but not for her grand self.

      • Ankhel says:

The dress is pretty good, except for the clunky belt. It’s the accessories that are bad. Overgrown fascinator – if you want to go big, get a proper hat. Boring shoes that don’t really go with the dress. Same with the purse.

It’s a pity that Dolce and Gabbana are such awful people, because I think flower patterns and traditional, feminine cuts are great.

  7. Léna says:

Nanette was amazing. I laughed, cried, and asked myself a lot of questions since watching it. I will watch it again this weekend. For once i’m glad Netlifx put it on my front page.

    • Ange says:

I’ve been a long time fan of Hannah Gadsby and have seen her live a few times. I deliberately never read much about Nanette because I knew it was coming to Netflix and when I watched it…. wow. It’s just SO RELEVANT to our times. She talks about those issues with such heartfelt emotion I honestly wonder how she goes out there night after night to perform that, it must take a toll. So while it’s not the same as her previous work it’s important, it’s needed, it’s intelligent and I’m so glad I watched it.

  8. Parigo says:

WTF is wrong with people??? Jesus, I would never call the police unless someone was physically in danger. I think they have better things to do.

And seriously what a b*. She says they were screaming, but they’re on a busy SF street!! Urgh, I’ve seen interviews she’s done, racist b* already got her 15 minutes of fame, shouldn’t let her justify herself!
