Debbie Rowe is clearly at the end of her rope. Michael Jackson’s ex-wife – and probably the mother of his children – is being hounded by the media regarding her plans to fight for custody of the kids. Rowe lost it on a reporter yesterday and threatened to beat him up, and frankly I don’t blame her. She’s not a celebrity and it’s clear being famous didn’t agree with her. She never adapted to this kind of scrutiny and attention, and it’s clearly taking a serious toll on her.
Michael Jackson’s ex-wife Debbie Rowe was in a feisty mood on Sunday. While leaving a restaurant in Lancaster, Calif., Rowe snapped back at a photographer who was peppering her with questions about the custody of her kids with the late pop star.
“Are you ready to fight for your children?” one reporter asked repeatedly. After he got a little close, Rowe lashed out: “Are you ready to get your butt kicked? Don’t f—-in’ touch me!”
Rowe, the biological mother of two of the children, told a NBCLA reporter last week that she’ll fight for custody. She’s planning on seeking a restraining order against Michael Jackson’s father, Joe Jackson. “I am stepping up. I have to,” Rowe said.
…Though a nasty court fight for custody of the kids remains a possibility, Rowe and the Jackson will have to keep things civil at least for the first half of this week. Rowe has been confirmed for VIP seats at Jackson’s memorial service on Tuesday in Los Angeles, former Jackson associate Marc Schaffel told ‘Good Morning America.’

It’s clear Debbie can’t deal with the press and was never really able to. Several years ago Michael Jackson made a rebuttal video to Martin Bashir’s documentary “Living with Michael Jackson.” Most of the footage was taken at the same time as Bashir’s by a camera Jackson set up. The interview with Debbie was added to MJ’s version so she could tell her side of the story. Debbie comes across as remarkably normal and fairly rational.
She says she finds it amazing that anyone wanted to pay $500,00 for a picture of her pregnant with Michael’s baby. She also says that “Michael and I will always be a family unit… I did not leave my children. My children are with their father, where they’re supposed to be.”
Debbie also says the real reason she and Michael broke up was that she couldn’t handle the attention and living under the microscope of fame. “We split up because I got to a point where I couldn’t deal with it. I couldn’t go to the grocery store. I couldn’t get followed. I wasn’t used to it.” She said that Michael was always very generous and helpful and he’d say things like “You don’t have to go to the grocery store, I’ll get someone to go,” but he just wasn’t able to understand that she likes doing things for herself and wanted to keep up regular activities. She even seemed uncomfortable at times during the interview, noting: “Doing this is very uncomfortable for me. Talking about these things is extremely uncomfortable for me.”
That could have a lot to do with why Debbie has been a little wishy washy on her custody plans. She clearly isn’t happy living with the Jackson fame, and would have to do that for several more years – maybe even the rest of her life. Obviously the kids should come first, but they’re not going to be happy if they’re living with someone who’s miserable. From her interview, Debbie sounds like she agreed with most of Michael’s parenting choices and would probably choose to keep the kids living a relatively sequestered existence. But for now, she’s going to have to get used to the spotlight again.

SAYS WHO? Until a DNA test says otherwise, Michael Jackson is the father of those kids.
TMZ reported that neither Debbie nor MJ are the bio parents. TMZ editor Harvey Levin said he was 1000% sure that information was true. Can we trust gossip site?!!
Perhaps MJ wasn’t bio dad, but Debbie IS bio mother. I think the story about Dr. Klein as a sperm donor is false!
Debbie was a well paid surrogate and lackey by MJ and his kingdom.
She was granted visitation rights and post the trial MJ chose to live in Bahrain, Ireland, England, therefore, unable to see the kids.
Problems on both sides of this family. I hope the kids are able to enter therapy and have visitation with mom.
I thoroughly despise this piece of flesh (refuse to call her a woman or a lady). They should have rephrased the question of “Do you plan to take a cash settle for your kids?” by adding the word “again” at the end of it.
She’s not normally bothered by the paps nor does she want to be. I would have been like this too if those a-holes swarmed me when I came out of a restaurant.
Not that I know a whole lot about the intimate details of their lives but those children do not look like they are even close to being biracial. I have biracial children so I have a bit of experience. I guess there is a long shot that MJ is their biological father but common sense would have anyone questioning if MJ actually is so. They have blond hair, very fair skin (I am not sure of their eye color). It isn’t the craziest idea ever that Michael Jackson isn’t their biological father.
I think the kids would be better off with her and Nanny Grace, out in the country,where they can greive,heal and adjust to a far less circus-like life. Living with Katherine and the influence of her and the rest of the wacko’s is not heathy for any kid. She is too old and not capable of taking care of and protecting them from the rest of the clan.
I agree on that, mE! My guess is that Mj is not the biological father. The kids are to “white”, and even with all that cirurgies that Mj did to himself, from inside he STILL was a black man. But who cares? He took care of them, so that’s ok. About Debbie Rowe? Oh God, i’m glad i’m not a celebrity, or rephrasing, a ex. wife of a celebrity. This is just to much for any human being.
If they were conceived the natural way, does that mean she had sex with Dr. Klein?
It’s not a secret. In fact it’s been in the media just last week. The kids were conceived via artificial insemination from a donor, a white donor. Michael is not the bio dad and how could he be since they’re white. Also, Debbie tried to get custody during the molestation charges. Other times she phoned and her calls were not returned because Michael wanted to be sole parent. When he moved to Dubai again she couldn’t see them.
Wow! And everyone thinks Joe Jackson’s the monster, I beg to differ. I wouldn’t want those kids with that trash. Michael was right to cut her out of the will.
Why would she be in the will?? She was already paid, and said she didnt want custody.

I’m certain her “I want custody” claim is prelude to another cash settlement for her children. Hasn’t she requested an audience with the Jacksons already? Her career is actually selling and re-selling those children. Remember that when she made noises about the kids’ welfare when the molestation charges came up, she quieted down real quick once her payments were re-instated (one more creditor Jackson had stopped paying). I do believe she’s despicable for so lightly abandoning those children to their uncertain fates with Jackson.

As for the comments above, none of us knows the personal details of the kids’ births and family situation. Calling her a monster and other names is out of line.
This person has no dignity at all. She is self-serving and the paparazzi would be better off recognizing that there is no story and in MJ’s words just “beat it”.
So I guess magically all the media scrutiny she’s not used to and doesn’t want will disappear once she has custody of her meal tickets, oops I mean her kids. It’s sickly amusing that she’s suddenly remembered her duties as a mother now that Micheal is dead when she shrugged them off like so much dirty clothes for all this time. The vultures are circling.
There were picures of Debbie Rowe out at lunch @ The Ivy a few days (?) ago with her lawyers. Dont tell me she isnt loving the media attention at least a little bit…
