LaToya Jackson: Michael was murdered in a conspiracy

michaellatoya
Echoing her father’s claim that “foul play,” was at hand in her younger brothers’ death, LaToya Jackson, 53, has claimed that Michael was murdered in some kind of conspiracy. LaToya foolishly granted an interview to News of The World in which she gave evidence such as Michael telling her he was on a detox and the fact that he looked healthy the last time she saw him – two weeks before his death at their parents’ 60th anniversary party. Refusing to name the people involved for fear of jeopardizing the police investigation, LaToya said that Jackson told her two years ago that he was afraid he would be murdered for the rights to his song catalog. She also claims that $2 million in cash and jewelry went missing from his rented home in the hours following his death:

Speaking out for the first time since Michael Jackson’s sudden death on June 25, the singer’s sister LaToya Jackson, 53, is raising alarming allegations.

“Michael was murdered,” LaToya claims in an exclusive interview with London newspaper the News of the World.

“We don’t think just one person was involved in the murder,” she added, refusing to name the people she believes are responsible for the death during her four-hour interview in L.A. “It was a conspiracy to get Michael’s money.”

According to LaToya, Jackson himself always feared for his life. “A couple of years ago Michael told me he was worried that people were out to get him,” she told the paper. “He said, ‘They’re gonna kill me for my publishing. They want my catalogues and they’re gonna kill me for these.’ ”

In the months leading up to his London performances, Jackson told his sister that he was on a six-month detox to prepare for his comeback, but LaToya says she had other suspicions.

“Michael was being inappropriately treated by people who got him hooked on drugs,” she told the News of the World. “He had many needle marks on his neck and on his arms, and more about those will emerge in the next few weeks. But nothing has changed my mind that this was murder.”

And despite the family’s best efforts to reach out to Jackson recently, LaToya claims that those plotting against Jackson “tried to keep the family away at all times.”

LaToya is not the only family member who believes there was a conspiracy to take Jackson’s life. The family patriarch, Joe Jackson, echoed his daughter’s sentiments, telling ABC News on Friday, “I do believe it was foul play. I do believe that.”

[From People.com]

Family always want to believe the best about a loved one, especially after they pass. From many accounts Jackson fired anyone who questioned him at all or tried to curtail his prescription drug use. Even the longterm nanny to his children, Grace Rwaramba, claimed that he got rid of her when she tried to stage an intervention with his family. She also supposedly said that Jackson’s mother asked her in their first phone conversation after Michael died where he hid his money. Someone may have opportunistically lifted his cash and jewelry and it doesn’t mean he was murdered for it.

We’ll learn more about this case when the toxicology reports come back in an expected two weeks. It’s hard to see how Michael wasn’t responsible if he engaged in the kind of drug-seeking behavior we’ve been hearing about. He’s definitely worth more in death than he was in life, but his family also stands to benefit. Maybe people did conspire to keep Jackson in a kind of weakened state, but it seems like he was determined to stay there. If someone did kill him deliberately, would that show up in the toxicology reports or was he taking so many drugs on a daily basis that it will be hard to tell if he was murdered?

She needs to shut up. I believe she would sell her whole family out for a little bit of publicity and money. Sucks to be a Jackson with no talent.

  2. vixenella says:

It wsa foul play in the sense that the Dr’s were so star struck and money hungry they went on administring the drugs knowing the dangers. I am not sure why they would have a motive to murder him.

  3. Candi says:

I don’t see what the conspiracy is?

Micheal Jackson was went into cardiac arrest due to the many dangerous medications he was abusing.

    Large doses of Xanax,Demerol,Vicodin,
and an anesthetic(which is not supposed to be scripted, only meant for hospital use).

Just goes to show you, that if you are rich and famous enough, wealth can buy you literally almost anything and everything.

People overdosing in Hollywood is not a new trend,it’s been happening since the 50’s when people like Marilyn Monroe to Jimi Hendrix started abusing barbituates, benzodiazapines, and opiates.

Latoya Jackson is a nutter, and Joe and Catherine are even worse. All they seem to care about is Micheal Jackson’s money.

Janet seems like the only sane one in the family, and I hope that she gets custody of the children, providing that she is willing to take on such a responsibility.

Very similar to Anna Nicole’s death. Keep em doped up so that the people around them can have control of their financial matters.

Does anyone know who has control of the catalog?

  5. CandyKay says:

Anyone planning to murder Michael Jackson for money would have to be convinced there would be a quick and easy payoff.

But Jackson’s affairs are so tangled it’s hard to figure out when or who will get paid, or if there will even be anything to distribute after all his debts and the estate’s legal fees are paid.

That’s a pretty dim motive for murder.

  6. Linda says:

Here is another prime example of why I worry about the future of these children – these people are nuts – all of them.

Joe’s out there talking about putting them on stage, etc. and Katherine is doing the same thing she did with Michael, nothing. Then you have LaToya spreading this conspiracy theory instead of facing up to the truth – the truth might have saved Michael – the family didn’t care enough.

  7. Kelly says:

    Truth dilemma:

On the one hand: it’s News of the World.

On the other hand: it’s LaToya.

  8. nelly says:

Damn! She looks like her brother!
And i agree too, this lady is crazy, crazy, crazy. She needs to shut up and change that wig.

  9. Lila says:

Whatever Michael had she’s got. I think she’s bald and clearly has the same pigmentation issues that her brother had. In any event, let her go through all the stages of grief that she’s entitled to.

  10. Point Neuf says:

Is it just me, or does it seem that the members of the Jackson family will do ANYTHING for attention?

Michael Jackson was completely estranged from his family when he died, and he had been for many years. He often expressed his dislike and resentment for his father and never seemed to care much about anyone else but Janet and his mother. Still, when he died, neither of these two women seemed to be particularly close to him by any means.

These people have a lot of nerve to go around pretending that, had it not been for the “evil doers” that surrounded Michael and kept him from reaching out to them, they would all have been a happy and united family. I am sure that, if anything, they are doing this to ensure that the press will give any attention to them as individuals, as well as to ensure that they will get the biggest possible share of whatever is left of his fortune.

I was never a Michael Jackson fan at all (he was massively overrated as an artist and never did anything significant for anyone, while fancying himself some sort of singing Messiah), but I cannot help to feel disgusted by the attention-seeking, greedy and exhibitionist behaviour that all of his family are deploying. It’s utterly despicable of them.

  11. mojoman says:

I have a question: what’s with the nose hang-ups this Jackson family has? all the siblings including both parents have that particular post surgery nose shape (MJ and La toya are the worst obviously). Is there a story behind buy 1 rhinoplasty get another 1 free?

  12. Hieronymus Grex says:

A conspiracy of emotional neglect initiated by his parents, perhaps.

  13. Jo 'Mama' Besser says:

I was looking at that pic of her in the cowboy hat. My eyes were itchy, but once I stopped rubbing them, I realized that it was not, in fact, a ‘really let herself go’ photo of Kathie Lee.

I know that it’s not in the spirit of grace to judge people, and I’m far to immersed in my work to spend gobs and gobs of time on this. So I don’t know every tidbit of info that keeps popping up. I’m going to be hypocrite by saying that by and large, I don’t like the idea of virtue-by-proxy, wherein an individual elevates his sense of his own moral superiority by putting a flash light on the contents of the ‘sin bins’ of others.

Still,I wouldn’t trust any of these maniacs with my allergy medication. And I’m including ‘Saint Katherine’ in that category. You can’t tell me that when she had a number of progeny working in the entertainment industry to rival the size of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir that she had no resources to save her kids. We could hem and haw about the time, race, economic circumstances and what-not. But after a point, it just becomes hand wringing. Hey man, I’m a black female, too. And I’m denigrating the struggle, I was born long after the Civil Rights movement, and any racism that I experience pales in contrast to what someone of her age had to endure.

But, I still think that she’s at best complicit, and at worst culpable…also, she’s about 80, isn’t she? And what if she gets custody? Is she going to stick to her tried and true method of doing a metric fuck-tonne of nothing while her walking excrement ex runs roughshod over another set of lives? This isn’t Dickens, you’re not ENTIRELY helpless.

Man, I really feel for these kids. What are the options? Maybe Rebbie or Marlon, but what ‘this centipede is hot’ even mean?

  14. gg says:

As I shake my head in weariness, I just say, LaToya says this crap all the damn time. She never shuts up. If one of the members of the Jacksons is talking, it’s always gonna be her. She has no filter from her brain to her mouth.

She’s also done press conferences saying how Michael should not be with young boys and she thought he was guilty of molestation. Great sister.

And just because she bleaches her skin too, does not mean she’s also got vitiligo. Lil Kim wanted to be white too so she bleached herself.

  15. celina says:

The whole family was disfunktional. It seems like none of the family not even Katherine and Janet really cared about Michael.Micheal loved his family so much and they never returned the favor. They didnt deserve Micheal.Noone did.Micheal was the sweetest kindest most caring guy who was often mislead, tricked,or taken advantage of.None understood him or even cared about him.All he needed was one person 2 love him and noone was there 2 do so.I believe his death really could of been prevented.

  16. lway says:

    She looks 105 years old

  17. lway says:

@ Celina. You should google “Michael Jackson’s legs” and perhaps then you will see why this man was addicted to painkillers. Love would not have prevented his death darling.

  18. Rena says:

Anyone who thinks Michael was not murdered is an idiot people kill for a lot less than what he was worth! I agree with Mel who will control the catalog which no one seems to be talking about!

To think that he was broke is a joke as long as he owned the catalog there was no other way to get the catalog back than to claim he was a junkie and send in a broke doctor to murder him?
