I had to google this guy to figure out who this guy is, and I’ve seen the Sex and The City movie and write about celebrities for a living. That said, I’m sure I’ll never forget the name Gilles Marini after seeing these pictures from his upcoming 2010 calendar. Some of these shots made my tongue hang out of my mouth as a guttural sound escaped from the back of my throat. Gilles is not my type at all when he’s clothed, but with his shirt off he has inescapable universal appeal. I’m not the type to ogle at Playgirl photos, but this guy is hot!
Gilles, 33, is a French actor who starred as Samantha’s hot womanizing, showering neighbor in the Sex and The City movie. He was also on “Dancing with The Stars” earlier this year as Cheryl Burke’s partner, finishing second behind Shawn Johnson. It’s nice to see pics of an up-and-coming hot guy that I don’t have to feel guilty about ogling. R-Pattz and Taylor Lautner may have great abs, but Lautner isn’t even legal and Pattison is barely there at 23. Give me a man that’s much closer to my age any day.
Marini has been married for over ten years to his French wife, Carole, and they have two children, son Georges and daughter Juliana. He served in the French army as a fireman after high school and went on to become a model. He’s since had roles on soap operas including “The Bold and the Beautiful” and TV shows such as “Ugly Betty” and “Dirty, Sexy Money”. I had a hard time concentrating on writing all that, because my mind is still racing. It must be the extra coffee I drank this morning.

Yes you are definately alone. I watched dancing with the stars just for him. He is a relatively nice guy. He could have chemistry with a freaking bottle of water if he wanted! He is smoking hot, I had to roll my tongue up and stick it back in my mouth as well. Typically he wouldn’t be my kind of guy either but with the clothes off how can anyone resist?

NO YOU ARE NOT ALONE.. I get tired of women who think they have to take everything off to get attention.. Can’t stand it from them and can’t stand it from men. If all it takes is a great body and abs then no wonder women are still looking for Mr. Right. A good looking man is a dime a dozen. A GOOD MAN.. regardless of abs now that is worth finding.
I would like to see him do more then just take off his cloths.

To be honest, I found him rather arrogant on DWTS and just because he is half naked does not make him hot. It is my opinion though, and I respect that other women and men find something appealing about him. He is very full of himself and I have no idea why because he was in what? A few seconds of SATC with his weiner slightly exposed and he came in second on DWTS. Why he is famous, I have no idea.

What exactly does he DO? I mean I am late to this party as I’ve just only seen the Sex in the City movie on dvd, so I know he was in that. But was he known before that or is he just known for being semi nude in that movie. I recall one of the judges on DWTS referencing that.

Karen, You’re undoubtedly right and noble and blah, blah, blah, but damn, that is one sexy man. I can’t believe people are taking issue with the shape of his mouth, his body hair, etc. My favorite shot is of him in bed. Wow. That is some tasty eye candy.

The toast one is so ‘effin cute! And the one after that iz zupar zexy… who doesn’t like to look at a nude sleeping man (ok, ppl who don’t like men ;p). I do that to mine all the time! The finale lets me know that his ass is also jawsome.
Of course, I’ve never seen those shows and experienced his douchery first-hand. Otherwise I’d not find him as attractive as I do. Good call Fiestarter!

At first when I saw the name Giles and Sex in the City I remembered that one episode when Carrie has a fling with an increcibly good looking French man named Giles. He was just one of those impossibly good looking people that must travel with their own lighting crew or something.
And you gotta love a guy who is willing to show the goodies in American movies.

Have you guys actually have a look at the Calendar? It’s really a work of art. All of the pictures are in B&W and very tasteful. I’m a huge fan of Gilles and also of a the work of Fred GOUDON, the guy who’s discovered him originally before we had him on Sex and the City.
