Joe Jackson wants sons to duet with dead Michael, Natalie Cole style

Joe Jackson

Creepy Joe Jackson – completely unaware of the public’s feelings about aforementioned creepiness – has decided he’d like to keep making money off deceased son Michael for as long as possible. How’s he going to do that? By resurrecting his vocals and pairing Michael’s voice with his brothers – forcing them to get back together once and for all, without Michael’s say.

Daddy Dearest’s newest horror show: Grinning like the dead-eyed zombie Michael Jackson portrayed in “Thriller, smirking shyster Joe Jackson – who shocked America with his child-abusive plan to push grandkids Prince Michael, Paris, and Blanket onstage as the so-called Jackson 3 – touched off a furious family battle with his latest ghoulish scheme: reuniting The Jackson 5 with Jermaine, Jackie, Marlon, and Tito backing their dead superstar bro’ on unissued vocals discovered in his vault.

Said a horrified source close to the family: “Unlike Natalie Cole’s ‘Unforgettable’ duet with deceased dad Nat King Cole, a labor of love, Joe’s spooky scheme is to resurrect meal-ticket Michael and enslave him forever as what he never, ever wanted to be in life – a dumbass oldies act!” The King of Pop’s money-grubbing brothers are – surprise, surprise! – 100% behind Puppet Master Pop, but enraged sisters Janet and La Toya vow they’ll fight the old man’s tacky exploitation of Michael’s memory tooth and nail.

[From the National Enquirer, August 3, 2009, print ed.]

Joe was always pushing for a Jackson 5 reunion, but Michael never agreed. There were rumors he was vaguely into the idea – but considering nothing ever came of it (and all the other brothers and Joe were very much on board) it’s safe to assume he didn’t want to be involved with the project. And if he were going to resurrect old songs, it would have made a lot more sense, business-wise, for him to do his own.

Joe Jackson is evil. There aren’t a whole lot of people who have Evil Eyebrows that aren’t. In fact I can’t think of a single one. When your eyebrows look like that, your personality matches. I’m guessing it’ll never get off the ground because of all the legal issues involved, though obviously a lot of it will depend on who owns the rights to Jackson’s unissued vocals.

In related news, TMZ is reporting that Michael Jackson’s death will “almost certainly” be ruled a homicide.

Law enforcement sources tell us the L.A. County Coroner is scheduled to release the autopsy results in Michael Jackson’s death next week, and the cause of death will “almost certainly” be homicide — death at the hands of another.

We’re told the Coroner himself will make the call mid-week, after he gets the final toxicology report from an outside consultant. But based on the draft report as well as what has become “clear evidence,” causes other than homicide — natural, accidental, accidental overdose, and suicide — have been ruled out.

We’ve already reported that for weeks, the LAPD has treated Jackson’s death as a homicide. They have served multiple criminal search warrants — most recently at Dr. Conrad Murray’s Houston medical office. Dr. Murray is actively being investigated as the person who may have administered the powerful anesthesia Propofol to Jackson the day he died.

We’re told both the Coroner and LAPD have significant evidence that Propofol caused Jackson’s heart to stop.

[From TMZ]

If you were surprised they’re saying homicide, remember homicide is divided into two categories: murder and manslaughter. Though the first assumption might be manslaughter, remember that it is murder if it happened as the result of the commission of another crime or as the result of recklessness endangerment. Depending on the specifics, either one of those could apply to Murray administering Propofol illegally to Jackson. Obviously the police initially suspected him of some sort of wrongdoing since they impounded his car from Jackson’s house right away, and since then the fishiness has only grown. I’m betting he’ll be arrested by Tuesday.

I can’t believe his brothers would agree to this. They’re just as bad as Joe, aren’t they? Since they stopped making music, have they ever done an honest day’s work for an honest day’s pay?

I hope Janet and LaToya can stop this.

  2. vixenella says:

I have a feeling it’s only just begun. I bet we see all kinds of crazy stuff being put out there by Joe. I read somewhere Tito and Jermaine were just as money hungry as their dad.

  3. Annie says:

Can someone throw him into a home already? Please?

  4. Sauronsarmy says:

Wait, Natalie Cole’s duet was “labor of love” and NOT creep? Really?

  5. TaylorB says:

That man gives me the creeps, frankly at this point I get the overwhelming feeling that even Honduran sweatshop overlords get the heebie jeebies from Papa Joe’s pathological financial exploitation of children.

  6. Bill Hicks is God says:

I’m sure that’s something a .45 could arrange without the need for any clever editing.

  7. Bill Hicks is God says:

Taylor B, betcha even the greasiest of greaseball pimps give him the “WTF?!” side-eye.

  8. so what says:

    Of course he does…

  9. Giz says:

It’s no wonder Michael cut himself off from most of the family. …Now the brothers want to cash in.

…Which reminds me, wasn’t there an attempt to revive the group for a concert at MSG in NYC some years ago? If memory serves, the concert fell through because the asking price for tickets was ludicrously high. But I could be wrong.

Who would want to see the Jackson 5 without Michael? I wouldn’t!

  10. lizzie says:

I would much rather see MJ at his best on his music videos and other videos of him available on youtube than pay to see his money hungry brothers use his memory for their own gain. It’ll just be too fake because if MJ would be alive you know there is no way he’d be doing some lame concert with them, hence he was going to do his own tour minus them.

  11. Diana says:

There aren’t too many people I’d consider soul-less. Joe Jackson is a soul-less man, completely self-absorbed, unthinking and un-feeling toward his children and the world in which he lives.

As to the homicide charges, I will not be surprised if doc,(s) are charged. Jackson backlash will occur as MJ’s drug history of the last 25 plus years are in the news, daily.

As Liza Minelli said at the time of MJ’s death, “All hell’s gonna break loose.”

(I’ve just started reading La Toya’s book, and have two others to read. More to be pulished = )

  12. girl x says:

I’m sad to say this: If Joe and his others son’s are agreeing on this idea, then Joe probably wanted Michael dead.

I mean really, who promotes a new record label not even 48 hours or less while his son is laying in the morgue?

When Joe passes, I will be the first in line to dance and crap on his headstone because he is going straight to hell for the f’n love of money instead having some kind of decency toward his own flesh and blood.

  13. the original kate says:

    that is one creeped-out man.

  14. ! says:

I firmly believe this is a man who’d sell his children into kiddie pornography if that was the only option he had to make money.

  15. CeeJay says:

These sorts of antics are all that Joe Jackson knows how to do. He never parented in the fatherly sense of the word. He worked his kids day and night to satisfy his own need for success. When he found the success his antics became justified and consequently he sees nothing wrong with continued promotion of his dead son.

Hopefully most of Michael’s money will go to pay off debt and provide for his kids so that Joe has not capital with which to promote his schemes.

  16. Sakota says:

Few people know this, but after the Motown 25 special, after Michael performed “Billie Jean,” his family gathered around him, congratualted him, and then said “the Jackson 5 are back man.” It was all about them and restarting their band. Not about what would be the triumph of Michael’s career.

No wonder Michael was a wreck, always dodging his family who wanted to use him and exploit him to make money of their own. Frankly If he offed himself, I don’t blame him one bit.

People keep ignoring what cultlike families do to their children and how they are abused. Michael was used for everything he could give to people and then some. What a bunch of greedy pigs.

  17. Mme X says:

AlaskaJoey makes a good point, though I’m not confident the Jackson women will be able to stop evil Joe, when we consider that the mother seems to have turned the other cheek–or perhaps been threatened into silence–in the face of the father’s behavior lo these many years. What a sad spectacle. I wish he would do like Michael says as he turns into the beast in “Thriller”: GO AWAY!!

  18. Nebraska says:

If this “duet” were to transpire, I believe that Joe will be struck down dead in the act. This is just plain wrong.

  19. Giz says:

    It’s called a restraining order!

  20. faithy says:

oh goodness….i already lost all respect for joe “beelzebub” jackson, but now the brothers are losing all my respect. im so surprised at them, they all seemed to love mike, and defend him but they seem to be just as money-hungry and selfish as joe ! this is a disgrace, and people are not gonna support him

  21. maritza says:

It goes to show you that the only one with real talent in that family was Michael. They never stood a chance when he left the group, so now the only way they can pull a crowd is to keep using Michael even if its as a hologram.

  22. daniel says:

WHY WONT THIS EVIL TOAD JUST GO AWAY??

  23. Maddie says:

GOD forgive me, but I think the wrong Jackson died.

  24. yae says:

Annie, you made me spit my coffee out. (cleaning the monitor) thanks 😛

  25. Cheyenne says:

Everybody back up. Nowhere does it say that the brothers have actually agreed to this. And as for Joe forcing them to do anything — the brothers are grown men. They can make their own decisions.

Maddie: God probably agrees with you 100%.
