Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush have split! Reggie and Kim had been together since April 2007, which is basically an eternity in vapid Hollywood years. There were plenty of rumors about an engagement, but both Kim and Reggie denied it pretty thoroughly. As far as questions over infidelity or anything like that, Kim’s rep only confirms the split. One “source” tells US Weekly, “Nobody cheated… This is just a case of conflicting schedules and their lives going in different directions…It was a totally mutual decision.” People Magazine’s version is pretty similar: blah, blah, scheduling conflicts, blah, badonkadonk, blah:
Kim Kardashian and her boyfriend of two years, New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush, are going their separate ways, the reality star’s rep confirms to PEOPLE.
The pair, who recently returned from a charity trip to Africa with Kardashian’s sister Khloe, just last May talked about “heading” toward marriage, but sources tell PEOPLE their relationship suffered from the time they spent apart – with yet another separation looming with the upcoming NFL season.
“They never get to see each other, ever,” the source says. “It’s been a long time coming. They still love each other and are part of their lives, but Reggie spends six months out of the year in New Orleans, so it’s tough.”
Kardashian, 28, the star of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, had been dating Bush, 24, since 2007. The couple were seen as the perfect Hollywood pair, stepping out on red carpets and posing for a GQ spread together.
“They were the cutest couple,” another source tells PEOPLE. “They loved each other so much but they hardly saw each other. He starts his football training camp this week and she starts filming Keeping up with the Kardashians this week. They just need a break right now.”

It strikes me that Kim Kardashian and Jessica Simpson are sort of in the same boat. They were both dating their football players for more than a year and a half, Kim and Jessica are around the same age, they both seem like girls who just want to settle down and get married, and they neither of them seems to have the good sense God gave a goat. Something tells me that Reggie is going to be way more respectful about Kim than Tony is being about Jessica. Reggie always seemed like a nice guy. In my mind, that is. I barely know anything about him, but I do get caught up in the occasional Keeping Up with the Kardashians marathon. Kim really seemed to adore Reggie… maybe the split will be temporary. Or maybe Kim is moving on to greener pastures. Or maybe Reggie was just tired of Kim’s enormous badonkadonk. Who knows?

I’ve never been a huge Kim fan, but I just don’t think the comment “Or maybe Reggie was just tired of Kim’s enormous badonkadonk” is fair. Kim has been working out/losing weight & she looks great – why not give her some credit for that instead of slamming her with a negative comment that is no longer true…

It just seems to me that Reggie is less Hollywood than Kim and all she wants right now is to be Hollywood. I see him being married to a girl next door type, someone who unlike Kim doesn’t crave the Hollywood spotlight and doesn’t need to parade him around as a trophy.

Even though I don’t understand why Kim even got famous, but I never had the feeling that she’s a bitch. I even heard some people said she’s actually polite and easy going irl to “the commoners” like us.
