E! promises that we’ll see a special one hour E! News on Monday featuring Jon Gosselin’s on-again barely-dropped-out-of college girlfriend, Hailey Glassman. Like the former Star reporter before her, Hailey is going on national entertainment television to insist that she’s not in it for the fame and genuinely loves Jon. Hailey, who has staged several photo opportunities with Jon for the paparazzi, claims she’s not a famewhore and that she’s been in hiding for three months. I think it’s pretty clear from the pattern of photos that Hailey is more than happy to come out and pose as Jon’s drunken arm candy whenever he’s willing to have her. How is that being in hiding? As for the other woman, Kate Major (she doesn’t address the cocktail waitress nanny), she’s “cuckoo” according to Hailey, who “believes what Jon tells me.”
The 22-year-old sat down exclusively with E! News on Friday, dishing on the Plus 8 parents, how her relationship with Jon is holding up in the wake of intense scrutiny and, yes, how she feels about Kate 2.0.
“I’m not some fame whore,” Glassman said to her detractors. “Take my 15 minutes, you can have it back. Please take it back!”
Glassman was quick to dispel speculation that her relationship with Jon, unexpected as it was, played any part in the Gosselins’ split.
“Jon and Kate have moved on with their lives—it’s only the viewers who haven’t moved on,” she said.
As for how the rabid interest in her and Jon’s personal lives has affected the budding paramours…
Glassman, who calls Gosselin her “first love,” began their friendship in May—months after Jon and Kate separated—while Gosselin was staying at her parents’ house. Although it began innocently, it quickly blossomed into something more.
“He was living in my house, the person I joked around with. He was sad and bored, I was home and bored.”
Glassman, who said her biggest fights with Jon stem from the public scrutiny, also had some fighting words for would-be love rival, all-too-roving reporter Kate Major.
“I wasn’t worried,” Glassman says, adding that Jon and Kate 2.0 were never romantic together.
“I know what Jon tells me and I know him…but she’s cuckoo, cuckoo, you know?”
As for why she has chosen to speak out now…
“I want people to know the truth. Right now I’m speaking from my heart, myself. I’m not some celebrity, I’m not some famous person—I’m just a 22-year-old girl who got caught in the middle of all this.”

This woman appeared on the cover of People Magazine, and gave them an exclusive interview, and she’s saying now that she wants her 15 minutes of fame to go away? Hailey Glassman had a legitimate Facebook account that was exposed right after she was named as Jon’s latest fling. For that account, she replaced her personal photo with a paparazzi picture of herself in which she’d cut Jon out of the frame. She then deleted her Facebook account once the news got out, but the damage was already done. She relished the attention, and now that it’s obvious that her boyfriend is having other flings and playing all these women for fools, she wants it to go away.
In related never-ending Jon and Kate news, Jon felt the need to address the paparazzi gathered outside his estate to explain the fight that went down yesterday with his estranged wife, Kate. (As reported yesterday, Kate tried to get access to the home and was apparently upset that Jon had a babysitter, who he’s been rumored to be having an affair with, over. Jon refused to let her in, and Kate called the cops.) He characteristically blamed Kate for the altercation, saying that she tried to enter the home at a time when he had visitation with their kids, and that he never bothered her when she was with the kids. Jon told photographers that Kate was “crying it up” for the cops, but that they called it a domestic dispute and didn’t let her in the house. No one was arrested and no charges were filed.
“She tried to come home yesterday, and I wouldn’t let her in the gate, and I guess she called the police,” Gosselin tells Splash News. “The police came and said it was a civil matter.”
“An officer pulled me aside and I said, ‘This has never happened before and I’m just trying to spend time with my kids and she’s [Kate] gonna have to leave,'” he says.

Jon says Kate “tried to ‘cry it up’ with the cops and it didn’t work and they said, ‘You have to leave.’
“It was a miscommunication. Kate said she was coming home, and I said, ‘Well, it’s my time to spend with the kids,'” Jon goes on. “I don’t come home when she’s with the kids, and vice versa — and that’s how it’s supposed to be.”
What sparked the fight?
Jon says he called babysitter Stephanie Santoro — a 23-year-old single mother and aspiring model who has stayed overnight and partied with Jon — to watch the kids while he was filming Jon & Kate Plus 8.
“I guess she didn’t agree with my babysitting,” Jon says of Kate, adding that it was the first time he’d seen his ex wife for “a long time” (they announced they were separating in June).
When asked why Kate was upset about Santoro (who also works as a “shooter girl” selling shots at local club Legends), Jon says, “I have no idea. I guess ’cause she didn’t have approval.”
Jon says he’ll only approve of Kate’s babysitters “if she’ll approve mine.”
No one was arrested during Thursday’s fight and no citations were issued.
A teary-eyed Kate immediately checked in to a local Days Inn.

Jon and Kate have since talked again – at least they had some sort of strained, uncomfortable meeting that was of course captured by the paparazzi. This family really needs to stop airing their dirty laundry, and call it quits on their reality show for the sake of their children. Jon clearly hates the show, and it’s “fans,” because Hailey said “it’s only the viewers who haven’t moved on.” Pull the plug on this runaway train and let Jon make event appearances for a living. He’d probably gladly give it up, not realizing all the millions he’s forfeiting to support his new “independent” lifestyle as a douche.

I don’t think it should have been such a dramatic scene that the cops were called, but I think it must be said that if I were in Kate’s position I sure as hell would have gone to check on the situation as well.
How could any mother sleep easily at night knowing that this man was in charge of their children and home? Jon hasn’t exactly shown the best judgment when it comes to the people around him and thinking of his children lately.

These people have millions of dollars at stake, bodyguards, and they haven’t decided on babysitters? I think this is all one big publicity stunt like the rest of their lives. I’m sure whoever the woman was who was their “helping” Jon watch the kids will probably have her own interview very soon.
its kinda pathetic/scary that in the interview with Radar, jon said that he’ll approve of her[Kate] babysitters if she[Kate] approved of his… it shows just how much he’s missing the point– it should be whether the babysitter is actually suitable and qualified to watch their 8 children.
also, jon said that they have a full time nanny– so why does he need an additional babysitter there at 11 p.m.? even 8 year olds should be in bed at that point. himself and the full-time nanny (that i assume both parents signed off on) should be more than plenty to handle 8 sleeping children. i don’t blame Kate one bit for going to see what was going on at the CHILREN’S home. and i don’t believe that she showed up screaming– i think jon knew what to say to infuriate her and when its her children’s safety that is in question, you better believe that any mother would be screaming just as much as her.

I completely agree with this statement. I am not totally up to date on all the details of this story but if you are going to pull the “my kids! my KIDS!” crap, you need to step out of the spotlight and make sure they grow up okay, not whore you (and them!) out for money and notoriety.

Hailey is not caught in the middle – she and Jon put there right there, smack in the middle of it all and she’s happy about it. She needs to go away. Jon needs to get a grip and grow the hell up and be a father.
