Over the weekend, Lindsay Lohan finally unveiled her collection for Ungaro. What’s that? It wasn’t really her collection, she was just the “artistic advisor”? No matter, Lindsay walked the runway with designer Estrella Arch to take credit for all of her “work”. I’m not sure why Lindsay bothered, though, because she was only taking credit for a collection that was universally loathed. The Huffington Post has a slideshow of the clothes (they’re hideous, childish and they look like budget hooker-wear), and HuffPo describes the outfits as “a plethora of hearts, from sequins on the outfits, patterns in the cloth, hats, and even heart-shaped pasties covering many of the models’ nipples, exposed by unbuttoned jackets and plunging necklines.”
Women‘s Wear Daily (via Dlisted) called the collection an “embarrassment” noting that the clothes looked “cheesy and dated”. The New York Times referred to the show as “the final gasp of celebrity madness” and noted the multiple wardrobe malfunctions, “bits of black masking tape or sequined pasties popping from jackets tricked out with hearts.” NYT summed up: “. Yet will this collection of hearts but with no soul be enough to entice young women who could probably find these looks anywhere?” The lesson: if you want to look like a cracked-out hooker, you kind find versions of this ugly stuff at Wal-Mart.
As for Lindsay, if it’s possible, she looked worse than she did at the Vogue party last week. Something about Paris does not agree with her – either that or she can’t handle the hardcore Parisian street drugs? All I know is that this girl’s face looks ridiculous. The puffed-out lips, the sketchy blonde hair, the bad skin… topped off with her ridiculously glassy eyes. Did she hit the pipe before she walked the runway? Afterwards, paparazzi caught her partying with Busta Rhymes at a Paris nightclub. Her hair looked a little better, but other than that it looks like Lindsay was “celebrating” her ass off. I don’t have any sympathy for her anymore. She doesn’t want to get better because she doesn’t think there’s anything wrong.

That slideshow is . . . wow. I almost puked at 1) the teeny-weeny tube top/bikini thing on that emaciated model with horribly visible rib bones but no actual breasts and 2) the one non-pasty wearing model proudly showing off her breast implant scarring.

Baby steps Lindsay, I really hope she finally finds stability. She really was such a cute tike when she first came into hollywood and was so hopefull. It’s heartbreaking when hollywood consumes another potiental talent. So I really do hope this girl surrounds herself with people of the good kind. I certainly don’t want to see her die the way so many young talents have as of late.

I’m in my mid 30′s and have yet to get anything done and I’m not saying I won’t at some point-I’m taking year to year…but seriously, somone come bitch slap me if my face starts to look like that!!!

Dag … this girl has aged rapidy (and by that, I don’t mean “matured”).
She looks like a sea hag and an ancient wreck. 23 and her forehead could be used like a chalkboard to write sheet music (while storing extra sticks of chalk in her lips).

I don’t see her as a spent product of Hollywood so much as a spent soul from deplorable parenting (as is mostly the case for most Hollywood children -it’s the parents who are to blame).

Yes, agree with Kaiser. LL has managed to snort the sympathy right out of me! I detest looking at any pictures of her; she is looking increasingly grotesque and all of her contrived poses are laughable. She lives in the land of the unreachable. Why would this ‘designer’ want to embarrass the brand in what is surely to end up in another LL debacle? Oh well. To each his own.

This one isn’t Hollywood’s fault, it’s her parents. People like Tina Fey, Streep, the producer of GEORGIA RULES, etc. tried to warn her and help her but she wouldn’t listen. Her parents just enabled her.
Most child actors struggle to get cast as adults and she was handed an adult career on a platter. She blew it all away.

I hate to admit this but I am ‘technically’ old enough to be her mother, granted I would have to have been a 13 year old mother, but it is possible… anyhoodle, I have fewer wrinkles and look younger than she does and I am not being vain I look like a woman my age should, she just looks that old, and that is sad.
That poor girl just looks like a mess, her skin is effed up, her eyes are unfocused and glassy, she is skinny as all get out, and what has she done to her lips?
How can her parents not see what she has done to herself?

The one I really feel bad for is Estrella Archs. It was reported that she wasn’t happy with the collection, and she had been given orders to rush the whole thing. Lindsay can stumble away from all this, but this is Archs career.

Huh??? She is an adult. She makes her own decisions. She’s been into rehab how many times??? This is her choice – and, because of her continued bad behavior and choices, she’ll continue to spiral down to hell until she dies. Which will hopefully be very, very soon. For those of you who are commenting on that model’s surgery scar (particularly mollyb), that’s not a scar from breast implants. Scars like that are usually associated with breast lifts. Although it’s a nasty scar, it comes with the territory of getting a breast lift. The scar also doesn’t mean it’s a botched job. It looks pretty fresh to me, which may be why it looks like that right now.

there were SOME pieces that i kinda liked. what bugs is that this is supposedly some “big name” fashion house.. and the stuff on the catwalk is the same crap I usually see in cheaper stores getting scooped up by tweeners with mommy’s credit card and too much free time.

Geeze….I am in my 30′s and I feel a lot better now. LiLo has more lines in her forhead than I do! Maybe she should have put the filler in her wrinkles instead of her lips!…Anyway I would never be caught dead wearing any of these clothes. Yikes! Call me crazy but this stuff is just a bit scary…

Katyusha: I’ll believe that she had a breast lift, but there was also some scarring around her nipple (a la Katie Price), which would indicate that she at some point did have implants (I’m going to assume they were taken out after that, or they’re the smallest implants I’ve ever seen).

Those scars are the marks of a breast REDUCTION (with possible lift); they do not indicate removed implants. Alas, She was probably too large for the modeling industry!
