You know what makes me happier than bright shiny new babies or soft bouncy little puppies? Justice. Hard-ass, throw-the-book-at-em justice. And that’s exactly what Jon Gosselin got today. Earlier he and soon-to-be e-wife Kate were in court, and the only word that was released was that the hearing was brief and they’re both due back in court in two weeks. The hearing was over the $230,000 Jon took out of their joint accounts without permission, which he has totally denied even though every little withdrawal has been completely and accurately documented. Now we have word on exactly what went down – and it’s good. Really good. Jon has to pay back $180,000 pronto. By the next hearing – which gives him only thirteen days to come up with the money. Otherwise he’ll be held in contempt. Yippee!
Jon Gosselin has been ordered to return $180,000 in marital funds, which were removed in violation of an arbitrator’s order.
According to Kate’s lawyer, Mark Momjian, “The remaining sum of $55,000, which Ms. Gosselin used for household bills and expenses relating to the children, will be subject to further determination by the arbitrator at a later date.”
Jon is required to repay the loot by October 26 — the next hearing — or appear before the judge for a contempt proceeding.
The judge also ordered Kate to provide an accounting of past expenses — also due by Oct. 26.
Kate says, “As difficult as this has been for me, I am pleased that the Court has ruled fairly on behalf of myself and my children. Now that this matter has been ruled on, I look forward to returning to private arbitration, as we have agreed to do, to resolve any remaining issues.”

She stole the credit for a book she only ghost wrote and is collecting the profits of same. How anyone can say that is ok is beyond me. Kate is also trying to erase all the details of the past, in that Jon was a good father, having done alot of the work that she was just oh too tired to do! He was working a full time job as well as catering to her, and looking after his children at night. Not until he left her, did he all of a sudden become someone she didn’t know. Um, you mean you weren’t listening to him and seeing the signs of marital troubles Kate? Gee why is that? If she had treated Jon with respect, appreciated him as a man and a father, he would never have left. How is that all was ok til he said NO more. At the end of Season 4, you could see the wheels turning in her head as to how she was going to convince Jon to carry on with the next season. He’d already had enough at that point, stated as much, but nope .. Kate would not listen to him. She could have compromised and said hey, you know what? You’re right. Let’s take a year off and just focus on our lives for awhile. Nope, she just wants the money. I am still waiting to see how much she has put aside for the children. If as she says, they are well taken of for the future, then who freaking cares what he does or she does for that matter? Neither one of them should have custody of the children at this time in any event. Why no one has stepped in and investigated this is beyond me.

John has done nothing as far as trying to shoulder the day to day expenses, so Kate, allegedly, has used that money, which was for those things, to pay the bills. How does anyone think the family lives? Someone has to use the money to pay the bills, and we know Jon sure as f#$@ worry about that.

So Kate (who can’t pay her bills) and her team of three different attorneys from three separate law firms won today. What TOTAL B.S.!!! I woke up early this morning (5:30 a.m) and was flipping channels when I stumbled on an old Jon and Kate episode. In that episode alone, she told him he was fat and got him enrolled in a weight program–not for his health but for her own ego. In the episode, he mentioned that he had already gotten hair plugs “for her,” and while they were doing their interview, she tapped his chin and said she hoped he could get rid of the double chin, as well. He said, “She just wants me to look the way I looked when we first got married.” Everytime he tried to open his mouth to answer questions during the interview process, he’d get two words out and she would cut in and talk over him. He just took a deep breath and sighed liked he’d been whipped. I HATE THAT BITCH.

The reality is this: they had 8 (eight) children. What other parents (aside from the Duggars) do you know that get paid to raise their children. Up until Jon stopped the show, both Jon and Kate were being paid for doing the show, although it was supposedly about the kids. So why do people keep jumping up and down about how did Jon earn his money? Doing the show. How do you think they earned the money to buy that bloody house? Jon owns half of it. Jon pays support as stated, which she is also to be paying and apparently hasn’t. As for the custody arrangements, why argue about that? They came to their own agreement about who has the kids and who doesn’t. That’s between them, and from what I’ve heard/read/watched, there have been no complaints from either of them about that … except that Kate wanted to change the arrangements for the birthday. If you’ve watched the show, then there can be no argument that Jon worked at raising his children. Kate wanted to be a stay at home mother and that is what she got, while Jon worked both in and out of the home. Kate had alot of free help so I have no sympathy for her. Kate is just a whiner. Whine whine whine. But, now that Jon doesn’t want to be a part of the drama with her as his wife, suddenly she is the high road saint? Not bloody likely. If, as she says she is taking the high road, why then go public with what Jon did? and then only to be told that she also has to replace 55,000? There are details that none of us are hearing about, though I think Jon was trying to get some of that out. Unfortunately, Jon is not as adept as Kate at spinning the truth. Has no one wondered why their other home hasn’t sold? I find that very odd. Re: Kate being the responsible one. Coughcough. In many households, one or the other handles the finances. If you have ever watched the show, she in one episode says to Jon that she wishes he would do more, whereupon he responded that he would be happy to except that she is never happy. She then declares that she is the only one who can do things right, and so she wants the control. She admits it on television folks. As for Jon being a wimp, when did a man being a gentleman, a gentle soul who wasn’t raised to be rude to a woman, or hit her back become a wimp? Towards the end, Jon started to answer back, stop her from interrupting and one could see that things were beginning to shift. So none of what’s happening is really that big a surprise is it? I feel badly for all of them, that in their pain, neither one of these “adults” can see the forest for the trees. The children were/are the “stars”. Jon and Kate shouldn’t be getting stars for being parents. What alot of rot. If we are going to grade them on being parents, then I think they’ve done a good job. The kids are polite, seemingly happy (as kids can be during a divorce albeit so public a one) and engaging. I have no doubts that these kids will be fine, and Mady will be the one who straightens them out. She’s always seen the truth, which is why Kate is always so quick to shut her up.
But when you don’t accept that you, by nature, can’t have children, force nature to do what it wasn’t meant to do, and then end up with 8 kids, the only people I really end up rooting for are the children. Jon and Kate will survive all of this. I certainly don’t wish either of them poverty. They did their job for four seasons. Jon finally woke up and realised just how famous he really is (and we did that folks by watching their show, attending their “donation” talks in churches, paying to see Kate yabber on, buying

Keep in mind that these people employ at least three full time nannies. Those three nannies probably make at least minimum wage. Assuming a work day is 7 hours and the nannies make $6.50 an hour, with 52 weeks in a year (I’ll give them each a month off per year total, so 48 weeks), and they normally work Mon-Fri… That’ $10,920 per nanny per year, with a total of $32,760 per year for childcare. That’s a lot of money, and it is only for one part of their lives.
Jon can say he didn’t take the money all he wants but if the court requests transaction records then they’ll tell the black and white truth. Same goes for Kate but it seems they already know she took 55,000 they just need an accounting of it.

They’re both using money to harm each other. She calls the police on Jon and they tell her to leave. He doesn’t want her back, stated it publicly, which probably embarrassed the heck out of her, and this is how she chose to deal with it. Make a big deal of this, so no one will pay attention to what she’s doing. MMM coincidence … I think not.
He fights back (like many other ex’s have done regardless of gender) in a less than intelligent manner. She again plays victim except this time again she is found to also have played a part in the drama.
What will she think of next?

Lol … with so many other celebrities making a hash out of their lives, this is almost boring now. With Michael Jackson’s kids now slated for a new reality show (along with the brothers who all of a sudden have a “career”), or Lindsay Lohan apparently close to “suicide” … the Gosselins have nothing. Just another middle class couple thinking they’d made the big time, hangerson glomming onto them to make as much money as they can before the public figures out they really aren’t real at all…. In twenty years we’ll be reading stories about “do you remember when”?. Jon needs to use his freedom (not sure how free one is with 8 kids) appropriately, and stop talking to the stupid news magazines that do not have his interests at heart, and Kate well… her day will come.

The reality is Jon is a child, Kate had to treat him as such. She took/takes care of the ‘real world’ responsibilities of parenting. Whilst Jon comes and goes as he pleases and behaves in a completely disgusting way, his behavior continues to sink to lower and lower depths.
Honestly, I think the looney bin let domestic out of her cage. 10 rants in a row? And still not a single one that makes any sense at all… We all get it. You and Jon are soul mates. I’m sure when Hailey’s done she’ll pass him off to you.
Lol .. no one is as douchy as Spencer Pratt … oh wait … the Jackson brothers may be in contention for that title! Jon just isn’t calculating enough.

Fortunately for the former Gosselin dogs, they are being well cared for. Not so so many other dogs. No offense to the breeders but there are alot of dogs out there who need to be loved, sitting in these shelters. Hopefully this campaign will help find homes for some of them.
