I’m a casual fan of Dita Von Teese, and I tend to love how honest and nonchalant she is about subjects that would make other celebrities squeamish. She seems like a throwback performer, and sometimes her quotes sound like something from The Mae West Handbook For Being Awesome. These new quotes, not so much. Dita is talking about her past drug usage and how it ravaged her body in the 1990s. When she was getting clean and getting her body back to a healthy weight, Dita found that her old boobs weren’t really coming back. So she got herself some perky implants:
DITA VON TEESE went under the knife for a boob job at the age of 21 – because years of drug abuse had ravaged her body.
The burlesque beauty admits she began dabbling with illegal substances when she was a teenager, and her habit spiraled out of control throughout the 1990s.
Von Teese confesses the drugs took a major toll on her figure, but seeing herself so gaunt gave her the motivation to kick her addictions and she eventually opted for surgery to repair the damage.
She says, “I was a bit of a party girl in the early ’90s and used LSD and Ecstasy. Eventually my weight dropped to 6stone 7lbs and I looked terrible, so I gave up drugs. My breasts never recovered, so when I was 21 I had 32D implants. Now I‘m a healthy 8 stone and 2 pounds.”

Call me crazy, but I didn’t know Dita had implants. That’s how good the work is – they look natural enough to my eyes, and I’m usually pretty good at spotting implants. I do wonder if she just got the implants put in and that’s it, or whether she’s gotten multiple procedures to keep them looking so perky.

AT 21? That’s sad to me. You shouldn’t go under the knife to modify your body when it’s so young, in my opinion. I shouldn’t be surprised, I guess, but I do find it sad.

5ft 6 (167 cm) and she thinks 8 stone 2 (114 pounds) is healthy? Her BMI at that is considered underweight and that isnt even including her implants!

Thanks to those who posted the stones-to-pounds conversion. Hmmm…I was a 36DD in high school. Now in my mid-40′s I’m more like a 36 or 38 “F” or “G” bra size. They’re “all natural” and extremely HIDEOUS! “Big” & “Real” are not always good things…lol…

Has anyone been to Michigan? Unless you live near the water, there is literally nothing else to do but get into drugs as a teen. Keeps your nipples from freezing off. I always thought she had naturally awesome boobs. They must look natural because she has a softer body than most rail-thin chicks we see with them. Chicks so thin they prob. wouldn’t have boobs otherwise.

Wow, I’m so, SO GLAD I’m not from Michigan, or any other Northern cold as f*ck state. Sounds horrible. I kinda think of Michigan as a worse Ohio, which would make it pretty bad because Ohio is the worst place I have ever been in my entire life. So I guess that explains why she is so pale, there’s no sun up there! Doesn’t explain the fake boobs though…but since I am cursed with bigger boobs, I will never understand why anyone would pay for something that is such a pain. Oh well.

I am always amused when they say ’32′ and then ‘DD’ after that…do they even make bras like that?
I mean,the normal size for DD is r more like 38,which is petite,to 44,as far as width of the torso or however you describe it.
I myself have been 36C since high school-at times i’ts been a bit much,at others,seems just the right size. Though when pregnant,before i ever got a stomach,boobs were about the size of torpedos. I had to get refitted in a ginormous nursing bra at like 2 months into pregnancy. The woman reassured me ‘dont worry,your stomach will catch up’…gulp.
I sympathize w/those who are E,F and beyond! Yikes.

So,you know,my point is,the ‘number’ of your frame size SHOULD be an indicator of what your body can physically/healthfully support for the ‘letter’ of your cup size. If you are 32,probably a tiny A or AA is appropriate,B at the max.

Well im a 34 DD and it is hell finding a bra, i usually end up with a 36 D my tits are way too big, when i gain weight it goes straight to the tits which means I need to shed some poundage and get back to my 34 c’s now those were nice!!!
As for the chick in the pic she does not look like she weighs 114 if she does she must have absolutley NO muscle!

@ Kristen- I have lived in Michigan my whole life. There is plenty to do besides drugs. Its the lazy people that resort to drugs for a good time. You dont have to live near the water, hell its hard not to with all the lakes we have. But anyways…

As one cursed – yes, cursed – with naturally bid breasts, frankly, I don’t get why people PAY for implants. Some of the disadvantages:… you have to be very very careful not to look trashy. Forget about wearing some fabrics. Most dresses just don’t fit and you need a 2-pieces set. Except for bathing suits. I have yet to find a bikini that didn’t make me look like a…. at 5’5′ 120lbs, I am a natural 36DDD. Of course many men love it but these same men also don’t see beyond those babies.

I’ll buy her weight estimates, but there’s no way she’s 5’6″. I’d say she’s 5’2″ max in bare feet.
And ditto the comments on LSD and E – they don’t make you lose or gain weight. The same goes for any other psychedelic.

As for the talk of bras- they do make 32DD/32E. Though it is harder since many stores like Victoria’s Secret don’t even carry them. Although most women do not know their correct size (I didn’t either till I got sized- and some places do it wrong even professionally.) One of my sisters and I are both naturally a 32E but it doesn’t look out of proportion because most people do not guess I am a 32DD. Most of the time people guess I am a B-C cup. My sister is 5’6 and around 120 lbs with a very curvy but healthy shape so I don’t find it unbelievable that Dita could be that weight either. I too have to agree that I thought her breast implants look well done- as I feel they are usually extremely obvious and hers don’t look bad.

You obviously know nothing about breasts…..38 is large, not petite. 32 is petite. I am a 32DDD, on a small frame, natural. The size of your back does in no way correlate to the size of your ta tas.
