I didn’t even know Chelsea Handler was going to pose for Playboy, but here you go. She’s the cover girl for the December issue, and Jay Leno “surprised” her with the cover shot last night on his show. By the way, just FYI, Chelsea’s official birthday is February 25, 1975. Does anyone buy that this chick is 34 years old? I think she shaved off ten years, but maybe that’s just me. In any case, no matter her real age, Chelsea does have a nice figure, and she’s shown it off before, like this now-infamous shot of her from an issue of Allure several months ago. Chelsea seemed happy enough with her cover shot (I think it looks cheap, but whatever):
Chelsea Handler’s Playboy cover has been revealed (scroll down below the video for a full photo). Handler, 34, graces the December issue and poses naked inside.
The cover, which Handler had not seen, was revealed to her and to the world on Leno Wednesday night. First the two shared barbs – Handler called him ‘exactly like David Letterman’ when he said she needs a guy to tell her no, while Leno poked fun at Handler’s boyfriend’s age, saying he got the cover by calling Hefner, ’cause he and Ted went to school together.’
With that, a huge blowup of the cover, which features Handler in a bikini and over-the-knee boots, was dropped from the ceiling.
Handler said she quit drinking for ‘like a day and a half’ to prepare, and she works out anyway, so that didn’t change.

The Ted person that Jay references is Ted Harbert, the CEO of Comcast and Chelsea’s ultimate boss. She’s also claimed that they are living together, so I guess her very nice tatas are getting all kinds of attention, not just from Playboy. Anyway… not the best cover, but not the worst. Maybe I’m kind of “meh” on it because I don’t really care for her.

I am sorry, she is funny and all, but not my idea of a cover model for Playboy.
I do not think she is 34, I look younger than she does and I am older. If she is 34, she doesn’t look good for her age. Sorry, but that is my opinion.
Talk about Photoshopped, that cover was PS’d to death.

She’s a very funny snarky comedienne who has her own show on, I think E! It’s hilarious (especially little Chewie).
As for her age – I’d go with shaving 5 years off, but not 10. I think it’s that she usually looks like she has bags under her eyes and part of her schtick is making fun of herself drinking and doing drugs (not that I think she does drugs).

I saw one of her comedy stand up shows last year and even though I like her comedy, she absolutely sucked. Her filthy-mouthed rants weren’t even comical and she was so drunk/high/out of it (take your pick) that it was such a waste of my time and money. I was embarrassed for her.
That girl looks way older than 35 but she is damn funny on her show.

i like her quick wit and she seems like fun to hang out with, but no way is she under 40. and that allure photo was photoshopped like crazy – it looks like her head on someone else’s body. i’ve seen her show and though i think she’s attractive, but she is not really that toned. but she can do playboy if she wants, who cares? it doesn’t make her any less funny.

You know last night was the first time i watched the jay leno show at 10pm (for the old folks). ONLY b/c ms. handler was on. She was funny Jay was an ass. I just hate jay’s show.

I think she’s really funny and I like her show, but she’s not necessarily someone I’d like to work with on a daily basis.
I don’t doubt her age, but she does look older than she is. It happens. I think it’s probably a combination of too much sun and partying and genetics – some people just age better than others.
I used to watch the show she had before her talk show, and it kind of seems like her face has changed since then – cosmetic surgery, aging, or maybe she’s one of those women whose face looks gaunt when they keep their weight down?

She is 34, but the lifestyle has taken a toll. Regardless, it’s her prerogative to pose nude whenever and wherever she chooses. It seems ironically sexist for women to voice criticism when another woman chooses to participate in art/glamour or erotic nude modeling. More often than not, it’s simply a symptom of insecurity or envy. Even for those that disapprove of the context, let’s give her credit for baring it all and being over — gasp — 30 years of age. Lastly, photoshoots of the world’s top models, even those in their teens, undergo hours of Photoshop/Wacom tablet editing. That’s the nature of the business.

So what the hell is the schedule for her show. I used to think she had every Friday off, then every Friday & every Monday. Now her show is only on occasionally once or twice a week.

virtualvice, I think it is YOUR insecurity to call out someone else on their insecurity… regardless of what you may think, I still wish for a day when women don’t feel like showing off their bodies is some sort of side job to whatever it is they do primarily…
My beliefs are based on what I think would best benefit women as a whole so regardless of your trying to put a spin on it, it ain’t the case…

I agree #31. She roasts celebs and then acts like a big fan when they come on her show. And, posing for Playboy makes you appear as trashy as those dumb blonds hanging on to that crypt-keeper, Hefner. To me, she’s over-rated. Many of her jokes are lame and racist. Definitely not a fan.

I think she looks like any 35 year old you’d see out in the real world. I guess in comparison to other celebs, who somehow preserve themselves ridiculously, she may look older. But really. 35 is not way off. And this is coming from a 20 year old.
Plus, do take into consideration her heavy drinking. It may have taken it’s tole on her at least a little.
