Re: the kid who can’t stop sneezing…doesn’t everyone close their eyes when they sneeze? I thought it was an uncontrollable reflexive sort of thing. Not that I don’t believe her or anything.

The sneezing girl – saw it this morning, and she’s not really sneezing, it’s more of a strange tick that she can’t stop. Something must have triggered it, and I feel bad for her, hopefully they can work it out and it stops.

Its so sad that she can’t stop the sneezing, it must be quite annoying to say the least. It can be an allergic reaction that the doctors are not detecting because its being triggered by fine particles in the air.
I once had a cough for 5 months that was not related to a cold and i would get a nagging itch in my throat that would trigger the cough. After going to a few doctors one finally said it could be an allegery but even then with all the medication it took forever for the cough to go away.
Thankfully her sneeze does not seem to be disruptive and is not as powerful as a traditional sneeze otherwise she could end up with serious problems because of the force.
I did find that the doctor on the Today show was a bit out of place suggesting that the child was doing it for attention – she hasn’t even examined her. It could just be her nerves or even if psychological not deliberate. Quite annoyed by her saying that – not that it may not be possible.
