Now we all know why pro golfer Tiger Woods was so desperate to protect his privacy last week. Apparently, the National Enquirer and US Weekly were only hitting the tip of the iceberg with their cheating reports. Currently, the number of women in Tiger’s infidelity harem is now at seven – and could be climbing. So, how is Tiger coping? Sources say he’s trying to convince wife Elin to go away on a secluded vacation with him. Because after finding out your husband’s been sticking it in at least seven other women while you were carrying his children, of COURSE you want to spend all kinds of time with him, right? Ugh. Is anyone else reminded of the last-ditch reunion effort Chris Brown and Diddy tried to orchestrate with Rihanna? That didn’t work, and I doubt a vacation is going to help this situation, either.
As the names of Las Vegas party planner Jamie Jungers, New York club regular Cori Rist and Orlando restaurant manager Mindy Lawton’s names are added to the mix, this column has learned another reason for the ongoing intensity of Mrs. Woods’ fury over her husband’s transgressions.
Tiger’s spouse’s rage was further fueled after she learned two of the women allegedly involved with her husband — Lawton and Jungers — had actually had trysts with the superstar golfer at the couple’s Windermere, Fla., home. ”While Tiger’s straying mostly took place in Vegas, New York or elsewhere in the Orlando area, it was those two supposed flings at their home that has got Elin crazy angry,” said a longtime Woods associate. ”Could you blame her?”
• Despite the ongoing revelations, I’ve also learned the Woodses are continuing to work on saving their marriage but would like to find a way to do it outside of their Florida home where they’ve been virtual prisoners — hiding from the ever-present media surrounding their exclusive enclave. They would like to figure out a way to escape from Windermere and fly somewhere where they could have total privacy.
”These days, that’s virtually an impossibility,” said my source, who added they would need ”a private preserve with total security, in like Montana or Idaho.”
• According to a Las Vegas casino executive who knows model and party promoter Jungers, the 26-year-old blonde is known for her obsession with celebrities. According to the Bellagio Hotel honcho, an engaged Jungers previously — and unsuccessfully — attempted to hook up with Charlie Sheen, Michael Jordan and Derek Jeter.
• Another casino manager, originally from Chicago, told me Saturday he agreed with that analysis of Jungers, but added that kind of behavior was also true of the other alleged Woods galpals Jaimee Grubbs, Kalika Moquin and Rachel Uchitel. According to the source, landing a famous man is ”a full time job for women like them.”
Tiger’s also mulling over the possibility of coming clean on the Oprah Winfrey Show as a last-ditch effort to save his marriage and career.
Tiger Woods was last night urged to confess all to chat show queen Oprah Winfrey – as allegations of a SIXTH mistress emerged.
The golfing star’s team of lawyers and PR advisers are desperate for Woods to spill the beans on Oprah’s sofa, possibly alongside his devastated wife Elin.
A source said: “Everyone around him believes it is the only way he will salvage any respect or even attempt to rebuild his family man image.”
I’m sure Oprah would love this – imagine the ratings! But at this point, why bother to “rebuild his family man image” since everyone knows it was all a lie in the first place? If the newest reports are to be believed, Woods has been having sex with other women practically since day one of his marriage to Elin. I don’t see how he can put out any kind of statement saying that his wife and children are his first priority now, since clearly, they never were. How does a supposedly devoted family man even have time to interact with his wife and kids when he’s juggling seven mistresses? I can’t see a scenario in which Elin chooses to stay with a man who has never been faithful to her. Not even with millions of dollars as an incentive. There’s only so much humiliation one woman can take.
UPDATE: The list of “Why Elin should divorce Tiger ASAP” just got even longer. New sources are revealing the following: the number of skanks Tiger was slamming is now at ten. That’s right: ten. A If you care to see the whole list, People has them for you, including one woman hilariously identified as “Anonymous Florida Cougar.” Also, it’s now being reported that Woods refused to use protection with at least two of the women.
Jaimee Grubbs — a 24-year-old cocktail waitress who broke the news to Us Weekly that she had a 31-month affair with Tiger Woods — says the golfer, 33, never wanted to use protection.
“He didn’t use a condom,” says Grubbs, who adds that Woods also didn’t ask if she was on birth control, either. “It wasn’t even discussed. He just never used one.”
Apparently, he also didn’t use condoms while bedding 33-year-old restaurant manager Mindy Lawton, according to Lawton’s sister, Lynn. “She said he never wore condoms,” Lynn told British tabloid, News of the World. “I was so worried she might catch a disease, especially as we suspected he was promiscuous.”
Experts tell Usmagazine.com that not only did Woods risk his own life, but also the lives of his wife, model Elin Nordegren, and their two children, Sam, 2, and Charlie, 10 months.
“It’s self-destructive behavior,” says psychotherapist Rhonda Findling, author of Don’t Call That Man! “Sometimes it’s just momentary stupidity, but this seems like sexual addiction.”
And finally, The Daily Beast reveals that Tiger’s injuries on the golf course fueled a long-standing pill habit that led him down a path of promiscuous sex. The report also states that the star athlete was “snoring” at the scene of the accident, and his already documented Ambien use could have been the reason for the accident in the first place.
Florida police have not yet released a full report from Tiger Woods’ immediately infamous SUV crash on November 27, but the most curious detail to emerge came from a neighbor, Jarius Adams, who reached the accident scene almost immediately, dashed into his sister’s house to call 911, then returned.
“At that point, he was, uh, he [Tiger Woods] was snoring,” Adams told the police.
“He was snoring?” asked the investigator.
“He was actually snoring.”
Trauma doctors I interviewed said that Woods should have been hyper-alert because of the adrenaline rush naturally associated with such unexpected excitement and stress. Various reports have suggested that Woods’ crash was influenced by prescription medication, taken for an injury. But one law-enforcement officer, familiar with the investigation, tells The Daily Beast that police on the scene suspected that Woods was disoriented and loopy because he had taken Ambien, a highly popular prescription sleeping pill. A person familiar with Woods’ medical treatment two years ago tells me that Woods has used prescription sedatives, when injured, to help him sleep.
As far as Tiger’s advisers and family were concerned, the potential problem, this source stressed, was more focused on whether the prescription pills might take a minute edge off Tiger’s reaction time and somehow adversely affect his game. But at least one physician was concerned enough to directly raise with Woods the potential of addiction and his need to wean off the pain pills.
Here’s my take on the accident: Tiger gets busted texting one of his slam hounds, but has already popped his nightly Ambien. Elin confronts him and he takes off, in no shape to drive – as evidenced by the fire hydrant/tree. Elin comes out upon hearing the crash and sees her husband seemingly unconscious (read: fast asleep!) in the drivers’ seat. The car is likely locked – most new cars have an auto-lock feature – so Elin grabs a golf club and smashes out the rear windows to get to Tiger. Who is snoring.

The Mirror is not even close to being a reliable source. Elin has always been very low-key. I don’t think she’s ever done an interview. So going on Oprah to talk about the worst time in her life is far-fetched. I’m sure Oprah and every other news outlet is trying to get an interview with them.

Was wondering when someone would mention a possible appearance for Tiger on the Oprah Show. As much as I like Oprah, I hate it when all these “fallen stars and celebrities” decide to go on a talk show to almost beg forgiveness from their fans. The only reason they appear on these shows is to make sure that the ones who pay for their lifestyle( the public) will not stop seeing their movies or buying products they promote. It all comes down to money.

I just get the feeling this is all going to come down to money, both on her side and his, and his gazillion mistresses. I can’t envision the damage control. Tell his wife the truth and all the ho’s to F off? There go endorsements. Pay off the ho’s and present a happy family? That would take two, wouldn’t it? One to destroy, two to build. Despite the fact that Tiger disappointed many of us but i must also say that marriages are ‘for better for worst, in sickness and in health, till death do them part’.This is the time Elin shld show that indeed she truly loves her hubby no matter what…If she leaves bcos of infedelity, how does she know that some other guys she may meet wld be better?.I advice that she stays put and makes sure that some gold diggers do not destroy her home…If she forgives her hubby now, i bet u, Tigre will honour her. I’m of the opinion she knew all about the women before and after the marriage and simply married him with the agreement that he could fool around with as many people he wanted while she gave him the wholesome family image and she would happily go along with it as long as it never came out in public. SHE is the one that needs to get away. If I were her I would take my kids and a close family member of friend for support and just get away from all the chaos and media circus. Poor Elin, no one deserves this kind of humiliation, but even those of us who have known it have only had our immediate circles in the know. This woman has to know that everybody she comes into contact with is looking pityingly at her.
As for Mr Woods, perhaps this will scare him straight. Don’t we all know men who have been cheaters who are no longer? Sometimes they mature out of it, sometimes the right woman elicits a behaviour change, and sometimes money and shame talk. IMAGINE the world of hurt if he even THINKS of cheating again!

While I’m usually one to believe rumors of “marriages of convenience” (see Cruise, Tom and Holmes, Katie) and that the wife knows the deal going into it, I find it hard to believe in this case. Tiger’s career has suffered since he was married (not appreciably mind you; it just necessarily takes away some of the focus and that can be seen in his failure to win some majors that he should have won). Tiger, obviously, is all about Tiger. Marriage and kids at this stage in his life weren’t a necessity and were, in fact, only a distraction to his larger goals.

Poor Elin-there’s really no good option for her, is there? Either she stays with someone who cheated constantly or she packs up her two young kids and she leaves him. Either way, she’ll have plenty of money. If you think his image is bad now, it’s nothing compared to how it will be if he tries to stiff Elin and the kids in a divorce proceeding. The public may forgive the affairs, but nobody will forgive that. If she stays I am sure he is offering a huge payout, and if she leaves, prenup be damned, she’ll get plenty in a settlement, alimony, and child support.

However, I think it would be easier to forgive his situation with all of these cocktail waitresses for whom he was clearly just using, than if he had a one serious ongoing relationship with one woman, esp if she was in their social circle.

princess pea: please re-read my post. I never said it was the only reason, but family is a factor as it takes away focus. I’ll give you another example: Jeff Gordon — since marrying (again) and having a child, his performance has deteriorated. Not saying it is the only reason (and it isn’t with Tiger) but it is a factor. many many articles/columns/sports psychologists will tell you the same.

From what I’ve read he and Elin got engaged in South Africa…. it’s pretty safe to assume he’s got a ho’ there or two probably from the “engagement trip collection”. The boy gets around. Are the current 10 only in the U.S.? Wouldn’t that be part of the sport of it all – doing as many women in as many countries as possible? If this is true I hope that this is the first step towards divorce. Tiger’s actions are beyond distasteful, disrespectful and if he was not practicing safe sex, dangerous to boot.

Wow!! The incredible thing about many of these comments across so many sites is the underlying self-righteousness and indignation that really comes across by so many of you. It would be interesting to have each of your lives put under a microscope 24/7 to see how good and perfect you all are. Yes, he has slept around. It seems to be a hell of a lot more devastating for people who’s only knowledge of the situation is sensationalist media tripe. Fact: It was common knowledge he was a major player (and not the golfing type) prior to his betrothal. To think that his wife was ignorant of this fact is foolish. The wife knew full well what he was like, and went in with eyes wide open and a clever financial adviser. It has been a marriage of convenience for both parties. Each from the beginning anticipated benefit in different ways. Do you really believe that the woman married him for love? Give me a break! The man was and is a commodity to be had, only someone got too greedy. The question is…which of them was it?

Ok, have taken out my crystal ball, dusted it off and am now gazing into the future (actually just staring in to space but if Msat can be a detective, I can be a psychic) I see Tiger running at full speed screaming apologies right into the door of Betty Ford, Promises, Cirque or whatever to “cure” his addiction to sex and drugs, doubt they can cure rock and roll, lol. Elin will stand by for a minute then eventually will bow out cause marriage wasn’t meant to withstand this type of pressure.

Even if the reports about unsafe sex are not true condoms don’t protect you completely! These women he cheated with are nasty! It is more than likely they had diseases.
Ugh. I would have no problem dumping my husband for cheating it’s the diseases that scare me!

With all due respect this is not some solitary infraction wherein one could entertain hopeful aspirations of repentence. He REPEATEDLY messed around on her for years with various women and then had the nerve to put her and their children’s lives in danger by sometimes foregoing protection. That’s not the type of indiscretion for which one should exercise such seeming surface morality as “stand by your man”. It’s sickening and trite: yet another woman who has to be some man’s crowbar and we are supposed to honor her for her tacit suffering and matrimonial martyrdom. Please. Whether she stays or leaves is obviously up to her, but it’s hard for marriages to come back from repeated betrayals of this magnitude, particularly if the woman possesses a healthy sense of self-worth.
Furthermore, these golddiggers didn’t act alone. It’s not they who destroyed Tiger’s home as wasn’t their responsibility. It was, however, Tiger’s. This is not to say that they are somewhat accountable, but too many times we go after these women upon whom we project all of our anger and resentment when it’s the man who needs to be held equally culpable. Maybe more so if it’s his family at stake.

In response to a couple of posters: sex addicts can compartmentalize sex with their wife and sex with other women. They want hearth and home, and sex with many women. It is not extraordinary, and I do believe that Tiger Woods is a sex addict.

Hey, Ya’ll! It’s time for a “reality check”. I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised, if Elin had to sign a “confidentiality agreement” in order to have her prenup beefed up. If she up and leaves now, more than likely she’ll only be entitled to no more than the initial 20 million she signed on for.
A divorce is not going to break Tiger Woods, financially. He may lose a few endorsements but as long as he keeps winning tournaments, other advertisers will step in where the others have left off. Athletes are well known to be “serial cheaters”. Tiger Woods is not the first and he certainly wouldn’t be the last. To be perfectly frank, if he has indeed, cheated with women at his primary residence, he does have serious mental issues that need to be addressed. He has the money and there’s no excuse for him not to get the help he needs. If this is the case, he needs help QUICK, FAST AND IN A HURRY!!!

No self-respecting woman would stay with a husband who cheated on her so hurtfully, for so long a period of time, and so publicly. There is no amount of money that will buy back your self-esteem.
To those who say marriage is for better or for worse, I would encourage you to read your Bible (or whatever it is you obtain your ideology from) because NO GOD MEANS FOR A WOMAN TO STAY THROUGH PHYSICAL OR EMOTIONAL ABUSE. Make no mistake, what Tiger has done is definitely emotional abuse.

That seems entirely counterproductive to me. Why would he change his bad behaviors if he truly knows that no matter what he does she will still be there to clean up after him & pick up the pieces? Before you can say it because of a higher belief in God?

And your beliefs do not seem to be rooted on christian values,The bible does indeed say that divorce is permitted on the ground of sexual immorality (which includes adultery/infidelity/unfaithfulness). Or if your spouse is physically/verbally or emotionally abusive to you or your children.
You need to have boundaries in every relationship and he needs to prove to her that he sincerely repented of his behavior not that he is sorry he got caught. You seem to be endorsing “doormat” behavior and that is ungodly to begin with. God did not create you to be abused by another.

I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. It hasn’t and the PGA, Tiger Woods and his sponsors are all hoping with bated breath that it doesn’t.
The other shoe is the prescription drugs Ambien and Vicodin Woods had. These are both sedative drugs used by PGA players to ensure their bodies are relaxed and subsequently leads to a smoother form with their golf swing. By all accounts the use of sedatives on the PGA mirrors steroid levels of use by MLB players. It’s hard to think of sedatives as performance enhancing drugs, but in the case of golf they are. Much like Fuzzy Zoeller of yore or John Daly of the not so distant pass would use stiff alcohol drinks as their sedative, the current players of the PGA rely on prescription handed out by their doctor. I hope someone investigates how long Woods has had these prescriptions. Woods’ knee surgery is long ago, no need for Vicodin.
For me, Woods’ Major Titles now has a Barry Bonds * next to them. I’m sure he used Ambien for performance in the bedroom, but I’m even more sure he used it for performance on the golf course.
