From what little I know about Sadie Frost, she seems pretty cool. Maybe not the best person over all, but she’s a hell of a lot more interesting than many of the cookie-cutter celebrities that take up so much dead space. Sadie is known as many things – an actress, the ex-wife of Jude Law and mother to his three oldest children, and as a cougar extraordinaire. Now, I know many people hate the use of “cougar”. But I think it applies here, because Sadie was doing it before women like her were called cougars. Sadie met Jude in 1994, when she was a 29-year-old actress with a husband and a child. Jude was 22 years old and about to break into the big time. She saw his potential not only as an actor, but as a husband, and after she divorced her first husband, she and Jude were happy until 2003, when they divorced.
Since then, Sadie makes the British tabloids consistently for her on-again-off-again relationships with younger men, for her friendships with other high profile celebrities, like Kate Moss and Daniel Craig, and for the occasional orgy. It seems that following her latest breakup, Sadie decided to pose nude for Grazia Magazine (which is a British tabloid magazine), and the photo is… quite nice, actually.
After a string of celebrities appearing on magazine covers photoshopped to within an inch of their lives, it is refreshing to hear that one star has ordered her pictures not be retouched.
It is even more admirable that Sadie Frost, who is best known for her partying days with Kate Moss and marriages to Jude Law and Gary Kemp, has also agreed to do the pictures naked.
Luckily for the 44-year-old mother-of-four, she has few blemishes to worry about.
But she also admitted: ‘I’m in my forties. I can’t believe it happened. I can’t make myself look any younger but I can do what I can to make myself look the best I can.’
Sadie, who is a vegetarian and who eats healthily, said she had been tempted in the past to look into surgery on her under-eye bags but said she now uses frozen peas on them instead.
The actress, model and designer, is now single after ending her relationship with Jackson Scott, who was 14 years her junior.
She was previously married to Gary Kemp (they split in 1995) and Jude Law (they divorced in 2003) and has also suffered from post-natal depression.
In 2002, her father David Vaughan also fell ill.
‘I couldn’t eat… I went down to about 7 stone and it was a very unhealthy place for me. I dealt with my sadness, my loss, my grief by going out drinking and partying. Everyone has an opinion. You may not be doing the right thing but you’re just doing anything to get through the pain.’
Sadie, who starred in a one-woman show last year, is appearing on stage in Fool For Love and Richard III in the next few weeks.

As much as I enjoy Jude and Sienna together again, I’ve always secretly hoped that Sadie and Jude would end up back together. They make a lot of sense together, and I think he was at his best professionally and personally when he was with Sadie. Allegedly, they are still close, and I think Sadie still is a big part of his life. And you know what? Jude has done a lot worse. He should go back to her!

Wow, I don’t know if it’s just the haircolor, or the angle of the photo, but her face looks hella different in those two photos. If you hadn’t captioned the first photo, I never would have guessed it was her. Is she saying she’s never had any work done?

From time to time she seems to be a bit loopy but I’ve always liked her. I think she looks really good and no photoshopping = pretty cool IMO. Not many stars go comando like that after all..

I think Sadie looks AMAZING, then add to it her age and the fact that she had 3 kids–even more AMAZING! She should be showing off her natural body.

I find it hilarious that time and time again, you go out of your way to judge people who aren’t you. I am willing to bet that if you had even a shred of transparency, we could all cut you down to size, and quickly. After all, its easy enough with what you’ve shown us with your personality. Being a fit and attractive person who happens to have compassion and warmth is infinitely harder than your claim of working out five days a week. Moving your body is easy. Having decency takes real effort.
Why must you inflate your own worth by putting yourself on a pedestal by comparing yourself to other people? Do you know how silly and pathetic and desperate it seems? I think she looks fantastic for a 44 year old mother of four. Especially because she parties and drinks a lot. It’s difficult to look like this with her all habits. I guess this is where her money plays a part…
Anyway, she used to be an actress in the past, but now, I wonder what she’s famous for, other than being Jude’s ex and hanging out with Kate Moss. I wonder how she’s got such a privileged life without working. I want the recipe.

@Misty_* Sadie’s is back at acting. She did a one-woman show last year – for which she’s nominated for an award of somesorts – and she’s doing two plays this year.

I’m sorry but this photo wreaks of Desperation. It has nothing to do with size or anything, it has to do with a mother of 4 publicly posing nude for the world to see. If it was up to me nobody would be posing naked. But I can’t help but feel especially bad for her teenage son who must certainly feel awkward about his mother’s public nudity…

I think Sadie looks great! And even before I read the article I looked at the pic and thought that it didn’t look airbrushed. I love that. Mags really need to stop it with the airbrushing already. Ads are meant to sell a beauty ideal, but seriously, they are taking it too far these days!

some people can’t help but be skinny, sometimes its in their genes. calling someone a size 0 a bag of bones is no better that calling someone overweight a fat pig. i’ve been called anorexic when i’ve been able eat 5 slices of pizza etc and never gain a pound. time has caught up and i’m 15 lbs heavier then i’ve ever been but i’m still a size 2. i think sadie looks decent and at least its a real picture for once and not a photoshopped painting.

As for sizes, I have never understood the obsession. Height will also affect what size you are. At 5ft9 I’m perfectly happy to be a size 8. In fact my GP this week said I was a little underweight. I’ve actually increased how much I am eating and hope to be a size 10 this year.

I’ve been called anorexic my entire life… And it’s quiet annoying, especially because most people think that they’re entitled to say such rude things, tactless. What if I really were anorexic?
Anorexia is a disease, and there’s no need to be mean about it.
Anyway, in my case are my genes, my sisters and brother are skinny. I’m 5ft5 and my weight is 103lb, and believe it or not I eat healthy (and I’m healthy).
I didn’t know that Sadie was Lucy in F.F. Coppola’s Dracula, completely different features. I still don’t know why she is famous though…

I think she held her kids birthday party at Soho House in London and one of her kids found half an E on the floor and ate it.
She used to go drinking alot during the day, the press were all over her and her best mate Kate Moss and their little gang but i think she’s calmed down now. She used to lead a pretty debauched life (remember that partner swapping scandal she and Jude with Pearl Lowe and Danny Goffey)
I wasn’t aware she had a huge divorce settlement from Jude. Good for her if she had, she supported him for years before he made it.

Sizes are different for different brands. I can wear anything from a size zero to a size five.
I don’t think it’s fair to call skinny people gross either. Although it is fair to call Diva’s comment gross.
