This week, the Sun got some photos of “removal vans” around Royal Lodge, the home of disgraced and unroyaled Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. We’ve heard such different things about Andrew’s move out of Royal Lodge, and there were even some rumors that Andrew wouldn’t even be able to move into his new Sandringham farmhouse until mid-year. The removal vans seem to indicate that things are moving quickly now, although I wonder if renovations are being conducted AS Andrew’s crap is being packed up. In any case, the Mail’s little royal elves are now saying that Andrew will be out of Royal Lodge before his 66th birthday on February 19. Oh? That’s a lot sooner than I predicted.
Renovations on Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s new home are in full swing as he is set to be kicked out of Royal Lodge before his 66th birthday next month. The disgraced royal was forced to give back his tenancy agreement for his home on the Windsor Estate when he was stripped of his prince and duke titles in October over his ties to paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Workers have started renovating inside the run-down Marsh Farm at Sandringham, while six-foot wooden fences have been erected around the home to make it secure and private. A JCB digger was seen at the estate on Tuesday, and electricians were making the farm buildings habitable for the shamed former prince, including installing CCTV for extra security. At least six workmen were seen going inside the detached property, and a van from a specialist security company was also spotted at the farmhouse.
Andrew will move into a temporary, smaller property on the King’s Norfolk estate as early as the end of this month and before his 66th birthday on February 19, The Sun reports. He is set to stay there until Easter, when the work on Marsh Farm is scheduled to be finished.
‘The snow or rain hasn’t delayed the work on Marsh Farm but it still needs a lot of attention to make it habitable,’ a Palace insider said. ‘But one thing for sure is that it is a lot, lot smaller and less luxurious than Royal Lodge.’
It is believed that Andrew was keen to move to the five-bedroom cottage Wood Farm – where Prince Philip spent his retirement – but there had been some debate over whether that might mean he is ‘too close’ to the rest of the family. Andrew will instead move into Marsh Farm, which is two miles west of Sandringham House and has been empty for several years. It is understood that the farmhouse and the surrounding outhouses previously belonged to a former tenant who had died some time ago.
Going purely from memory, Prince Philip adored Wood Farm and there were special renovations done to make it wheelchair accessible, modern and cozy for Philip and his special friend(s). QEII also stayed at Wood Farm with him occasionally. I believe Wood Farm is basically sitting there empty since QEII and Philip’s deaths, although in previous years, Charles allowed Andrew to stay there over Christmas. I guess my point is that Wood Farm would have been the easier solution for Andrew’s immediate needs, but the Windsors love to allow recently-renovated royal homes to sit unoccupied out of spite. It also sounds like they’re going all out to renovate Marsh Farm, which (again) looks like a perfectly lovely home. You can bet that Andrew will have full-time staffers on site as well.

Punishment my ass. A lovely renovated 5 bedroom home and stables and grounds!! He belongs in prison!!!
He had to be hidden out by the Queen when the FBI wanted to talk to him. He is not being punished, he’s set for life. He can have his social life with his pals and have hunting parties. He should have been turned over to the authorities.
I agree completely with Tessa and Susan Collins, but I want to know who the hell would associate with Randy Andy now? Who is going hunting with him? Because those people probably need to be on a list of some kind.
I hope Fergie is out of there now.
Chuck finally got Andrew out of royal lodge. It only took over 30 yrs. LoL. I assumed it was Charles and Philip that didnt want Andrew to have royal lodge but the tabloids kept bringing Charles up.
I blame qe2 for this. She got him to quit the navy which led to full-time begging. She shouldve let her children get jobs. The only one that got to have a job is anne and thats because QE2 liked horses!!
Andrew’s not getting wood farm because maybe special friend is still there.
We already know that the Windsors are terrible landlords. Sounds like the Windsors are cheap, greedy, and a bunch of hoarders, but one would expect they would maintain better upkeep of their own estates. However, they seem to just let things fall to rack and ruin rather than spend money on regular maintenance. They don’t seem to do the required maintenance of the Crown Estates either- consider Frogmore Cottage. At least someone isn’t being kicked of their home to accommodate Andrew.
“At least someone isn’t being kicked of their home to accommodate Andrew.”
One tiny baby step. Along with That Ass in the White House (Until He Paints it Gold) poisoning himself, today is turning out to be a very sunny one!
I wonder if WandK will. Also be claiming Royal Lodge as their next forever home.
I can’t believe this guy is only 65 about to turn 66, he looks ancient.
Chances are those moving vans were for Fergie’s stuff. I just don’t see Pedo Pal Andy going anywhere before next year. (If then)
i think its probably Fergie moving out, since she has to find a place. when you hear stories of pensioners being evicted from their homes most rally cry against the machine, but in this case, the lessons are hard, because there is no learning for him no accountability for how he lived his life. Both Andrew and Harry should be lessons for the the non heirs do not depend on the firm for your livelihood and well being Andrew felt free to do as he pleased because he had the firm to back him and rely on as long as he is “loyal” its particularly annoying that the firm dont see him as doing anything wrong . Rolf harris who painted the queen and influenced many young artist was jailed at age 84 so there is still time for him to go the clink. This is not punishment do people age out pdf ? because now he is in a place with no checks on his behaviour
Andrew’s and Harry’s cases are totally unrelated. Harry and Meghan are not working royals since 2020. They are making their own way. Harry and Meghan are not accused of associating with criminals. Andrew was and is.. And did not disavow Epstein and Ghislaine. Andrew had work as an ambassador and took side trips to Epstein’s residences instead of taking the work seriously. And could have retired from the work but he chose not to lead a respectable life and the Queen did nothing to stop this and even gave money to Andrew or so it was said to pay the damages to Virginia G for the lawsuit. Harry and Meghan were willing to work for the Firm but were forced out.
Experts should audit EVERYTHING coming out of Royal Lodge and return valuables that Andrew looted in his former position.
Part of me wonders how much of it was plundered from other countries or unjustly paid for. Selling antiques to Middle East sheiks isn’t going to make up for how much The British looted from the Middle East.
Could Andrew have nicked a DaVinci drawing, a Rembrandt or a Caravaggio? Absolutely. The Royal Collection has more than 7,000 paintings and 30,000 drawings and watercolors. They own work by all three of those artists.
