Alert, alert! Costco is rolling out an oversized mint sundae in their food courts. I repeat: Costco is now serving a giant mint sundae! The Double Chocolate Mint Sundae has been spotted at certain Costcos and will be added to all Costcos soon. It’s being sold for $2.99 and features mint ice cream, cookie crumbles, and chocolate syrup. It’s reportedly a limited edition dessert in honor of St. Patrick’s Day and in most locations, will be replacing the Caramel Brownie Sundae. Move over, Shamrock Shake. There’s a new minty cold hotness in town.
Heading out for groceries in the middle of winter can require a little extra motivation. But if you’re a regular Costco shopper, you already know the food court provides plenty of reasons to leave the house.
Sure, the oversized pizza slices and the legendary $1.50 hot dog make a compelling case. But the latest sweet addition may be the most tempting excuse yet to lace up your sneakers. The Double Chocolate Mint Sundae has arrived, layering cool mint soft serve with chocolate, cookie crumbles, and a drizzle of chocolate sauce for an indulgent finish that still feels refreshing.
If you need a little extra incentive to make that warehouse run this week, this might be it.

Early reactions already suggest shoppers are eager to try it.

A three-dollar chocolate mint ice cream sundae at my favorite store?! Say less, as the kids say. But seriously, I cannot even tell y’all how excited I am for this new dessert. I am one of those people who generally only f-cks with mint chocolate chip ice cream because it is the far superior flavor, but I have tried Costco’s Caramel Brownie Sundae and can confirm that it is quite delicious. My favorite Costco treat, however, is their Double Chocolate Chunk Cookie, which reminds me of the chocolate chip cookies they’d sell in the cafeteria when I was growing up. This may change that. I haven’t been to Costco in over a week, so I’m not sure if it’s at my store yet, but I’m crossing my fingers and toes that it is.
