Keanu Reeves stepped out in NYC with his longtime partner Alexandra Grant

Keanu Reeves stepped out with longtime girlfriend/partner in New York just after the Easter holiday. Keanu has been with Alexandra Grant since at least 2019, probably earlier, and they were friends for years before that. They always get a lot of attention because he’s dating someone age-appropriate and Alexandra doesn’t dye her hair. That’s it. They’re not even that age-appropriate, as Alexandra is 53 and Keanu is 61!!! Where is the age-gap discourse??? Do age-gaps not exist when the lady has silver hair??

Anyway, I think I knew this from seeing their photos before now, but seeing them walk side-by-side on the street, it’s suddenly very obvious that Alexandra is taller than him. Google says Keanu is 6’1”, so Alexandra is quite statuesque, and it’s not just her boots (the heel on those boots isn’t even that big). Keanu is such a king – loving a cool silver-haired lady in her 50s who is taller than him. Goated.

Keanu is currently promoting Outcome, and the premiere was last night, and Alexandra was Keanu’s date for that as well. Keanu also appeared on The Late Show last night too. He’s such a lovely man.

It’s just nice to see two grown people together, unbothered about the celebrity of it all. Plus, they look good together.

Always good to see Keanu. This is a comedy yeah? Would love to see him in more movies.

If Keanu is happy, then I’m happy! King.

Love him. Her hair is amazing.

These pictures came out yesterday and I asked my husband what he thought of Keanu’s girlfriend. He said “oh the older lady?” and I just about lost it. I told him she’s almost a DECADE younger than Keanu. We kept talking and he said “the older lady” again. I said that’s it I’m googling her age and I hope she’s younger than you. Alas, she was 3 years older than my husband but I don’t think he’ll refer to her as that again. BTW, my husband is usually wonderful.

I think it’s breaking people’s brains because she’s so much “older” than the 25-year-old we expect an actor of Keanu’s stature to date. Yay for Keanu!

I think the hair color is what causes this. So many women dye their hair as they age, myself included. Bc Keanu is the older one but presumably he dyes his hair and has a beard.

It’s gotta be that. Not that many people at her young age let it go grey if they are in the entertainment business specifically. We don’t often see many female celebs that don’t dye it. At least not in their early 50s. And I think Lizzbert is right too, the fact that she isn’t under 35 is unusual for a Hollywood guy, especially someone who presumably has loads of women interested.

Her hair is great and looks great with her eyes/skintone so why not?

I don’t know anything about her but she looks really kind. And while you can’t tell if someone is kind by looks, I feel like I am right bc Keanu probably wouldn’t date a jerk. They look great together and he deserves some happiness.

She’s given her height as 6’1” in interviews. So theoretically it’s shoes making the difference. But I think his various injuries are catching up with him, especially the knee fracture on Good Fortune. I saw the video of that picture and he is noticeably keeping his knee bent while walking. He stands up straight for the cameras, but not otherwise.

Oh, that’s too bad if that’s the case. I wonder if he’s going to keep doing action movies like Wick or the Matrix. A new Matrix script is being written by Drew Goddard who wrote the Project Hail Mary script but it’s unclear if Carrie-Anne and Keanu will be a part of it. My guess is that they will but the script may try to pivot to new characters who can carry on the IP. If it’s written well, I wouldn’t mind seeing them in another matrix by any means. The last one didnt do so well but that was coming right out of covid and iirc Tenet didn’t do that hot during that time period either. But also fr want Keanu to take care and do roles that won’t hurt his body. Jacob Tierney mentioned wanting to do some sort of a father-son movie with Keanu and Hudson Williams and that made me realize we’ve never seen Keanu in a father-type role that I can think of. But I’d watch it. Canadian wasians for the win. Sorry, no, technically he did a father role in the most recent Bill and Ted bc they both had daughters iirc.

He played a father in Knock Knock and Replicas. Fatherly type in Hardball (as a messed up male role model) and To The Bone (therapist – one of his best performances IMO).

I love that Keanu was doing Samuel Beckett on Broadway. It feels like there’s less and less people willing to dive into Beckett who is as relevant today as when he won his Nobel.

So many people are making sure to appear on Colbert’s show before it ends, an anti MAGA warrior who is losing his stage. Going completely live on Jan 6 to deliver a furious monologue against those burning down the Reichstag tells you who he is, he didn’t get much pushback on that bc MAGA doesn’t know what it means. I’d love to see Prince Harry on it one more time. It’s not a perfect show but the Resistance needs all the voices it can get.

Thank you thank you for a Keanu and Alexandra post, I needed this after all the stress in the air today! I love seeing them together.

  9. jferber says:

SummerMoomin, Same. It makes me feel a little better just knowing that Keanu and Alexandra exist and are together and enjoying their lives. She is a really stunning woman and they look great together. Such a lovely couple.
