Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox are said to have had a huge falling out when Cox couldn’t make it to visit Aniston on set in Oregon where she’s filming. Aniston is working on the movie Management with Woody Harrelson and Steve Zahn, and she’s out in the small town of Madras staying at a hotel without room service that looks like a no-frills adequate three star. She’s said to avoid hanging out with her costars after work, and is supposedly lonely.

Star Magazine reports that she asked Courtney to come visit her and to bring her daughter Coco along and Courtney had to say no because her husband David Arquette didn’t want her to go without him. This supposedly made Jen tell Courtney that she wasn’t being a decent friend, Courtney said Jen was acting selfish, and now they’re not speaking:

Things came to a head when Jen asked Courteney and her 3-year-old daughter, Coco, to come see her on the set. But Courteney’s husband, David Arquette, didn’t really want them to go, says another source, and that set Jen off.

“She called Courteney from Portland,” says a source. “She’d had a bad day on the set and wanted to talk about it. She was hoping Courteney might come to Oregon to see her. But when Courteney told her it wasn’t a good time, Jen lost it. She broke down and screamed that Courteney wasn’t supportive and never makes time for her anymore.

“Courteney was blown away. She feels like all she ever does is listen to Jennifer whine…

“Courteney told Jen that she was being selfish. But Jen didn’t want to hear it and slammed down the phone. They haven’t talked since.

Of course this means that Aniston has been contacting her ex, Brad Pitt. Star claims that they’ve been “exchanging a flurry of e-mails for weeks,” and that Aniston is being flirty in e-mail. But then they push this questionable tale to the limit by adding that they’ve been talking on the phone too. If Brad and Jen were really talking on the phone, why didn’t Star lead with that tidbit instead of focusing on the e-mails first? It all sounds a bit suspect, like most of the other cover stories about the long-dead Brad/Angelina/Jen triangle.

She’s really winning Brad’s heart with her e-mails. She knows Angelina Jolie doesn’t have much of a sense of humor, so she makes her e-mails to Brad extremely entertaining. She’s flirting. She’s like Meg Ryan with Tom Hanks in You’ve Got Mail. She’s opening up her heart and trying to build a bond.”

Besides pouring out her heart in her messages, Jen has also been talking shop with her ex, the friend reveals.

“Brad wants to help her with her career,” says the pal, “and Jen has even suggested a private meeting. I think she asked him to visit her in Oregon, but that’s totally unrealistic. If Brad flew out there, it would look just awful to Angie – and to the whole world.

All that sounds like total bullshit to me, but it could be true that Aniston and Cox are fighting. You could see single Aniston getting upset when Cox doesn’t drop everything to be with her. As for the supposed e-mails and phone calls with Pitt, it’s doubtful.

Yesterday we published the story that Aniston was partying it up in Los Cabos, Mexico with Courteney Cox, Sheryl Crow and Courteney’s family for the holiday. Flynet online has some pictures of the group out to dinner, and it looks like Los Cabos is a favorite with celebrities this season. Apprentice winner Bill Rancic and his girlfriend E! star Giuliana DiPandi were there along with Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton. Flynet reports that they all ate together at the same restaurant on New Year’s eve. Adam Sandler and his wife were also seen out in Los Cabos that day.

The former stars of Friends and the pop music singer spent a relaxing week in the sun along with Courteney’s husband, David Arquette, and their two and half year old daughter, Coco:

Singer Sheryl Crow went along with the two BFFs, as well as Courteney’s husband David Arquette and their daughter Coco, who’s now 2 and a half years old. “They flew into the Los Cabos airport on Dec. 27,” an insider tells Star. “They were shuttled to their resort in a new, luxuriously Chevrolet Suburban. They stayed at the posh, five-star resort, Esperanza.” The resort is a luxurious, top-of-the-line Auberge hotel, known for its plush amenities, fantastic location on the gorgeous turquoise Sea of Cortez, and high level of guest security. Both Jennifer and Courteney have vacationed in Los Cabos before.

Aniston recently beat out her nemesis, Angelina Jolie, in a Parade magazine poll of best celebrity bodies. Aniston came in second to Jessica Alba, with Beyonce in third. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were voted top celebrity mother and father.

Advance buzz on Cox’s new show on the FX Network, Dirt, is mixed. Cox plays a ruthless tabloid editor with conspirators that include a schizophrenic paparazzo. Some reviewers claim the show isn’t fun enough and can drag at times. Dirt premieres Tuesday night at 9:00 PM.

Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox were photographed canoodling at a party in Malibu over the weekend. I’m not sure who the older woman is, but Aniston is majorly sucking up to her while Courteney looks kind of annoyed. Aniston is also all too aware that she’s being photographed.

No wonder Aniston is so self-conscious around the paparrazi. She just settled a lawsuit for an undisclosed amount with a photographer who took topless photos of her sunbathing at her place. Aniston is going to donate the settlement to cancer research, cause she realizes that she’s not known for charity work and better improve her public image fast.

The paparrazo’s defense is pretty weak and kind of laughable. He said that he “didn’t go looking” for Aniston topless, even though he was outside her house with a telephoto lens, and that he uh, didn’t want to sell the naked pictures, even though he mailed them to magazines.

This is Aniston’s second settlement with a photographer over nude photos. She got 1/2 a million dollars in 2003 for nude pictures of her that were taken and published in 1999. No word what she did with that cash.

Courteney Cox says that Jennifer Aniston is a great friend that she can rely on in a crisis:

Cox recently revealed that she had some trouble in her marriage to funnyman David Arquette and that they wisely sought counseling to straighten it out.

She also adamantly denies that Aniston is engaged to Vaughn:

I bet Vaughn and Aniston are broken up already. Either that or they’re fighting constantly. Neither of them look happy together in the rare paparrazi photos that come out.

Star reports that Aniston and Vaughn are having trouble because Aniston doesn’t want kids, but that’s probably just speculation.
