Paul McCartney’s Family Holiday With Ex-Wife

heatherpaul.jpg
According to News of the World Paul McCartney has agreed to go on a holiday with his ex-wife Heather Mills.

After a year of bitter wrangling Heather suggested the American break with three-year-old daughter Beatrice as “family bonding time”.

A source close to Paul, 65—whose classic Beatles hits include Fool on the Hill, We Can Work It Out and Help!—said: “Incredible as it may seem the idea looks like a goer.

“It won’t be a conventional family holiday, there’s still tension.

“But if they go to Macca’s Hamptons mansion in New York, as they’re thinking, they’ll be away from prying eyes and pretty much on neutral ground.”

As a child of divorce, all I can say is that it’s a good thing they can afford to rent a huge place to stay – lots of space for avoiding each other. So far, the Mills-McCartney divorce has not been a very amicable one, although things have been quiet in recent months. Probably because they’ve been in separate countries while she appeared on Dancing With The Stars.

In other Macca news, his former Wings band mate Denny Laine is set to write a book. They formed the group in 1971, but fell out in 1980 after Paul’s arrest for marijuana on tour in Tokyo.

What kind of rockstar has a falling out over an arrest? I thought you had to get arrested before they’d let you in to the Hall of Fame? And smash up a hotel room, not to mention behave inappropriately with groupies. I want sordid tales of life on the road dammit!!

Paul McCartney’s fashion designer daughter Stella is also pregnant again, with her third child. She has two other children, Miller born February 2005, and Bailey born December 2006. They’re a boy and a girl respectively, since like most celebrity babies it’s hard to tell by their names.

Thanks to The Bosh and Fox News for these photos.

Heather Mills thinks $56 million doesn’t make her a gold digger

Heather Mills told Ryan Seacrest “’If I was a gold digger I would be a very wealthy woman now, and I’m not,’” on his radio show. That’s classic. Mills recently won her assault trial against British photographer Jay Kaycappa, who grabbed Mills and spun her around in order to get a better picture of her. Mills had been bicycling with a group of people to her seaside home. The paparazzi had been following them, and Mills got separated from her group in a pedestrian passageway that was underground. Photographers surrounded her on either side of the tunnel.

I felt concerned…because I had one there and one there and I felt like a trapped animal,” testified Mills, who was not in court Wednesday to hear the verdict.

“I felt him pull me round and then run back to get my picture. He yanked me round. I was facing the wall and he was pulling me round because I was not letting him take my picture. He then pulled me round and took my pictures.”

[From E News]

I’m no Heather Mills fan, but that is a completely jerky thing to do to someone. No matter what everyone deserves their personal space, and you don’t get to touch someone, let alone move them around as though they’re there only for your benefit. The photographer gave conflicting accounts to the police.

Prosecutors presented two conflicting statements given by Kaycappa to the police, one saying, “So I spun her around, I must have spun the bike around as well,” and the other saying, “I wish to clarify—what I actually said was, I would find it hard to spin her around when she was on the bike.”

Kaycappa, who denied the charges, was also convicted of assaulting Mills’ friend, Mark Payne, the following evening when he showed up to take more pictures of Mills.”

[From E News]

He sounds like a relentless jerk. As terrible and aggressive as the paparazzi can be here, I can’t believe the way they behave in England. As much as I’m not a fan of Heather Mills, I’m glad she pressed charges against the guy and that she won. No one deserves to be manhandled like that. My favorite part of the trial is when Mills said that they should just send a pack of journalists after Saddam Hussein, noting “They find everything.” It’s a funny point, made funnier still by the fact that they found and executed Saddam quite a long time ago. Clearly she’s had other things on her mind. Like not being a gold digger.

Mills McCartney Divorce gets NASTIER

mills.jpg
The Mills McCartney divorce is set to jack up the nasty and add a little crazy — and this split already has porno snaps, wine glass assaults, hooker allegations and butt-kickings aplenty. So when they decide to kick the nasty up a notch — they oughtta just call it Miss Jackson and flash its aged bood. The whole sordid episode does have a sort of aged boob feel to it … or is that just Paul?

Richard Johnson at the NY Post reports

PAUL McCartney’s divorce from Heather Mills McCartney is getting so nasty, she’s now threatening to make unsubstantiated claims that McCartney’s poor parenting in the past led two of his children to contemplate suicide.

“Paul is asking for full custody of their child, Beatrice,” a friend of Mills told us. “Heather is furious. There is no way she would ever, ever agree to that.”

Strangely enough only two of the aged boob’s children contemplated suicide despite having to grow up on vegetarian sausage and listening to Wings while being mercilessly bullied by Stella.

Which two moody little bastards … it’s like a blind item so sightless no one cares.

and … Yes, Heather Mills still has friends … they talk to The Post about her custody negotiations, but then again beggars can’t be choosers.

Meanwhile, the financial settlement is still far from being completed.

“Paul gave Heather a gorgeous London home, but now she wants a home in L.A., too,” Mills’ pal said. The friend added, “At first, she told Paul she would walk away for just $100 million – which is very cheap. He is worth billions. But now that [the divorce] has gotten so nasty, she wants more.”

Beggars was perhaps more of a metaphor for her inner spiritual poverty – given that her low ball figure is 100 million. But as long as she hangs onto that baby, and Stella doesn’t take out that contract on her with the ninja branch of PETA, she should be golden …

In her desperation, Mills is asking for full custody of 3-year-old Beatrice. She is also acting as her own lawyer – having fired her divorce attorneys because “she felt she could do a better job herself,” her friend said.

I love that friend.

They say that a one-legged hooker who represents herself has a fool for a client. Actually they don’t say that … but I bet they will now.

Then she kicked him in the ass.

I can just see the commercial now……..

Heather Mills-Gold Digging 101

Gold Digger Heather Mills has been busy this week. There was a false news story “leaked” to the news media that Sir Paul McCarthy agreed to a $62 million cash and property payoff to end their horrible D-I-V-O-R-C-E. I’m not saying she had anything to do with the false story but based on her past antics, you fill in the blanks.

Heather-the-gold-digger-Mills, 39, has been dragging Sir Paul through the mud in the media since their split. McCartney has been accused by Heather of verbal and physical abuse during their marriage.

CASH…the real love of Heather’s life, is at the center of everything. Sir Paul is estimated to be worth over $1.5 billion and she’s going to make sure that she gets as much gold as she can dig from his fortune.

It’s sad to see Paul McCartney, an icon to the world of music and great talent, get his reputation smeared by a bimbo like Heather.

For all you tramps and gold diggers out there, Heather is truly an inspiration. I don’t think she’ll be happy until she gets at least 30% of the fortune. Anyone care to wager?

Heather Mills is living the “green” lifestyle

Paul McCartney has agreed to pay nearly $4,000 USD a week for a rental house for his estranged wife, harpie Heather Mills. Mills and McCartney reached the agreement during their ongoing divorce proceedings. Experts say it is common for rich people to provide housing for the other party in a divorce:

HEATHER Mills has won the first round of her increasingly bitter divorce battle with Sir Paul McCartney after he agreed to pay the £2,000 a week rent on her new home.

Macca, 64, is to foot the bill for his estranged wife’s pad near Regent’s Park in London where she will live with their daughter Bea, three.

The move comes after friends of 39-year-old Heather told how she has cut all ties with the former Beatle over his alleged refusal to reinstate her security after she got deaths threats from gangsters.

One pal said her rent agreement was “negotiated in court” and added: “Heather says Macca has to pay for their accommodation. She thinks the divorce will be settled within the year.”

Heather will no doubt be pleased with the order, but it won’t ease her fury over the security issue.

Heather recently threw herself a 39th birthday party at a Slovenian ski resort. She paid for 40 friends to join her at the party, including the 22 year-old personal trainer with whom she is rumored to be having an affair.

Mills is launching a website to help spread the word about her green lifestyle. She is also promoting a new makeup and personal care line. It doesn’t sound that environmentally friendly to me to fly in 40 people for a party, but at least she’s getting the word out. She certainly has enough green money to go around.

Last week I was quick to poo-poo a report that Paul McCartney’s stepsister and stepmother said he was verbally abusive to them as a young man and that he made a sexually charged remark and patted his then 13 year-old stepsister’s butt. Readers pointed out that I was being pigheaded and shouldn’t dismiss their claims so quickly. People said that abuse is often hidden and that it was not right of me to question the accuser’s account due to Paul’s gentle public persona.

It may turn out that the truth of what happened in Paul and Heather’s marriage is not as one-sided as I like to think. While the British press and bloggers like me like to vilify Heather, she may be telling her version of the truth, and Paul could have pushed her around. She comes off as smug and self-righteous, and has been caught lying multiple times in the past, so it’s hard to trust her. Whatever happens with the divorce settlement it is likely she will be set for life.

Is Paul McCartney actually the mean mofo that Heather claims?

Heather Mills brought all sorts of ridiculous claims against beloved rocker Paul McCartney in their divorce proceedings. She claims he choked her, cut her with a wine glass, and pushed her on top of a coffee table during their four year marriage. Mills is known to be a serial liar, is said to have invented colorful stories from her past, and was even found to be impersonating a journalist also named Heather Mills. Everyone from her father to the guy who introduced her to Sir Paul has discredited her, and most people think that her claims against Paul are ridiculous and unfounded.

Heather even said that Paul was abusive to his first wife, Linda. One piece of evidence in Heather’s favor may have been the hours of audiotaped conversations between Paul’s wife Linda and her friend Peter Cox, with whom she collaborated on a vegetarian cookbook published in 1989. McCartney paid Cox an amazing $380,000 for the tapes, and people assumed he was doing it to ensure that none of the intimate details of his first marriage would be released to the public during his divorce proceedings.

Now The National Enquirer reports that a Beatles biographer has hours of audiotape from Paul McCartney’s stepmother and stepsister in which they claim that he was cruel to his ailing father and has always treated them with contempt. If you read what they’re saying, it sounds like they didn’t get along with him and are bitter and pissed off that he didn’t support them:

[Beatles biographer] Giuliano says Heather’s claims of abuse by McCartney are very similar to allegations made by Ruth and Angie. [Paul's stepmother and stepsister]

“For decades there has been a code of silence around Paul. Now Heather has blown the lid on it,” Guiliano told The Enquirer.

“There is clearly more than the kernel of truth in what Heather has said – I’d say more like the whole cob.”

Angie married Paul’s father Jim in 1964 when Ruth – Angie’s daughter from a prior marriage – was just 4 years old. Paul stayed for extended periods with the trio in a five-bedroom house that he had bought for Jim.

“It seemed like a kind thing to do, but Paul ruled the house like a tyrant when he was there, and would remind Angie and his father they should be grateful for his genorosity,” revealed Guiliano.

On the tapes, Angie said that when Paul was upset, he would shriek: “Don’t forget I put every crumb of food in your mouth!”

“I never forgot that,” said Angie.

Angie also told Giuliano that Jim had bitter arguments with Paul for smoking marijuana in the house.

“Jim knew that he smoked pot and didn’t like it,” said Angie.

“My dad would say to Paul, ‘Don’t be doing that here,’” recalled Ruth. “And then it would break down into the ‘Whose house is this?’ argument.

“this is my bloody house – I’ll do what I want,” Paul allegedly told them.

[from The National Enquirer print edition, January 15, 2007]

That all sounds like pretty tame, normal family arguments to me, like stuff that could be blown out of proportion. If this is true maybe the sister was snotty to him or something and he shot back at her, and maybe he did get pissed at his dad for telling him not to smoke pot in the house. That doesn’t sound so damning to me.

The article goes on to give what must be the two worst incidents the stepmother and mother told this author. Paul was said to have once yelled at his arthritic father to get up and walk and to have told him that his illness was in his mind. He also supposedly patted his stepsister on the butt while she was passing him in the hall after taking a shower. She was only 13 at the time, had filled out early and was embarrased to run into Paul when she was just in a towel. He said “My, my, my… Look at you, you’re getting to be a big girl. You’re growing up, aren’t you?”

Everyone says that Paul is an exemplary, peaceful man except for Heather Mills and his stepmother and stepsister. Their book was never published because it’s clear they don’t have much dirt on him. From their statements about Paul, it sounds like they didn’t get along with him, wanted to get money from him and failed. If Paul has an abusive personality the news would have come out sooner than this. As it is, there are only these two claims that are motivated by greed.

Update: I am not implying that it is ok to grab a 13 year-old’s butt and make sexual comments about her, that’s deplorable if it happened. I’m not sure how much of it is true and that’s what I was trying to say here.

Heather Mills to potentially get over $200 million secret settlement

It’s being reported by a less than reputable source that Paul McCartney is going to secretly give harpie Heather Mills a $235 million divorce settlement so that she’ll stay away from him and he can be done with this whole sorry business.

Mills is stupidly representing herself in divorce court, and a divorce attorney friend tells me that it’s likely she pissed off her high-priced lawyer, who may have told her that she should go another route if she wasn’t willing to follow their advice. My lawyer friend also says it’s incredibly stupid of Mills to try to represent herself when most any representation would be better than going it alone.

All that might not matter if this news is true though. Paul is said to be trying to make it seem publically like he’s giving lying Heather just $19.5 million, when the real amount is more than ten times that amount

Sir PAUL McCARTNEY will give his estranged wife HEATHER MILLS a $235 million (£120 million) divorce package to safeguard his health, according to a British newspaper.

The News Of The World reports the former BEATLE was urged to agree the deal by his daughters STELLA and MARY because they are concerned the bitter divorce battle is affecting his well being.

The siblings reportedly told their father, “If this goes on, it could kill you. Being happy is more important than money.”

The newspaper claims McCartney will publicly give his estranged wife a mere $19.5 million (£10 million), most of which she’ll donate to charity.

But she’ll actually secure an enormous secret package including $5.9 million (£3 million) a year as a divorce settlement, $15.7 million (£8 million) to buy homes in America and Europe, $5.9 million (£3 million) for English accommodation and more than $3.9 million (£2 million) a year for staff and general expenses for the next 15 years.

One of McCartney’s aides tells the newspaper, “It’s a done deal and Paul is relieved.”

There’s also a bizarre story that someone found heaps of personal photos of Paul and Heather, including more skeevy shots of Heather nude, in a public garbage heap. It sounds like someone planted them there:

Private photos of the former Beatle and Mills – including one of Mills in a bath wearing nothing but diamond earrings – were found dumped at a British rubbish tip.

The bizarre find also included pictures of Mills draped in a sheet in bed, with her artificial leg standing in a black stiletto nearby.

There are others in which she poses nude, showing off her bump while heavily pregnant.

There are also pictures of McCartney’s special moments with his and Mills’ daughter Beatrice.

One set shows McCartney feeding her with a silver spoon, and another of him cuddling his daughter, who is wearing a T-shirt with the words: “My Daddy Rocks”.

Tender photos of McCartney’s first wife, Linda, on holiday in Australia were also in the bags found at the tip.

The pictures appeared to be from a McCartney family album. However, nobody could explain how they got there.

Sir Paul told British newspaper The Sun in London he had no idea how the pictures found their way to the tip.

“I’m very grateful to The Sun for getting these pictures back to me,” McCartney said.

Now how would someone find these and contact The Sun about them? It’s all a bit suspicious.

I hope that this story about Heather getting such a huge settlement is false, though. She doesn’t deserve more than a kick in the ass.

Thanks to Gossip Rocks for these stories.

Heather Mills to represent herself in divorce court

Heather Mills can’t afford the nearly $30g a day that her fancy lawyers demand to represent her in her divorce proceedings against billionaire rocker Paul McCartney. Instead of writing an IOU or hiring a cheaper lawyer, she’s decided to represent herself in court some of the time. It seems like she could have found a more affordable fill-in lawyer instead of trying to go it alone, but she’s extreme and determined like that.

She’s also rather stupid. If she had a competent lawyer with her at all times she’d be more likely to get a decent settlement. The judge is probably going to give her less in the settlement after listening to her haughty sourpuss arguments. By saving thousands here she’s probably screwing herself out of millions. That sounds like the fiscal strategy of a lot of bosses I’ve worked for.

Heather Mills, the estranged wife of Sir Paul McCartney, has taken the unusual step of representing herself in the divorce battle with the former Beatle.

Ms Mills dispensed with barristers for an appearance at the High Court last week and on Wednesday during applications to keep Sir Paul out of her home and to gain access to his.

It is believed that Ms Mills, who has retained the services of London law firm Mishcon de Reya in the main divorce battle over money and custody of three-year-old daughter Beatrice, is trying to keep her legal costs down. Barristers can charge upwards of £15,000 a day.

Her final legal bill could already top £1 million, although she is likely to receive at least £20 million and as much as £100 million. Sir Paul has an estimated £825 million fortune.

When Ms Mills brought her own action in the High Court last week she was photographed clutching an A4 note pad containing scribbled notes. The notes formed the basis of her speech and were headed: “I’m seeking an order for occupation of the matrimonial home. The decision on her application to have Sir Paul, 64, kept out of her home in Hove, East Sussex, is expected soon.

Everyone and their brother is calling Mills a liar after she claimed that Paul abused her and was cruel to his ex-wife, Linda. Her own father said she’s a notorious liar and that it’s not true that Paul laid a finger on her. The latest person to hate on harpie Heather is Paul’s cousin.

Pictures found at Lainey’s gossip.

Latest celebrity divorces have one thing in common: toddlers

All of the latest divorcing celebrity couples share one commonality – they have toddler children. In fact none of the splitting couples are childless and all of them have children between the ages of one to four.

Whenever celebrities get divorced I am particularly interested in their children – how many they have and what ages and genders they are. It struck me that nearly all of the recently-divorcing celebrities have children that are going through toddlerhood and probably bugging the hell out of them. (Along with doing plenty of cute things to soften the blow of random tantrums, like saying new words you know you never taught them.)

I’m not saying that the innocent toddlers were the causes of these Hollywood breakups, children are never to blame for a divorce. It’s just an interesting coincidence. Here are the latest celebrity splits along with the stats on their children.

rockdivorce.jpg Chris Rock and Maleek Rock: double toddler trouble
Chris Rock was said to have filed divorce papers in early November of this year, but that turns out not to be true. TMZ reports that Chris and Maleek seem to be giving their relationship of ten years another try. They were photographed out at a charity dinner together last week and have not made their divorce official. They have two toddler daughters, Lola, 4, and Zahra, 2.

katechrisreunitedheader.jpg Kate Hudson and Chris Robinson: two year-old son
Chris Robinson has finally filed for divorce from Kate Hudson after this unlikely Hollywood couple announced their separation in mid August. They have a two year-old son, Ryder, who is such a handful that they don’t even dare cut his hair.

reeseryan.jpgReese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe: one toddler son, an older daughter
Reese Witherspoon wasted no time filing divorce from Ryan Phillippe, who was presumed to be cheating on her with his younger co-star, Abbie Cornish. They announced their separation at the end of October and Reese made it official less than two weeks later. They have two children, Ava, 8, and Deacon, who just turned three.

heatherpaul.jpgHeather Mills and Paul McCartney: one toddler daughter
Heather Mills and Paul McCartney seem as ill-suited for each other as an evil harpy and beloved legendary rock star could be. They managed to procreate, though, and it was undoubtedly great sex that got them together in the first place. Their daughter, Beatrice, just turned three.

britneykfed.jpgBritney Spears and Kevin Federline: one soon-to-be toddler, one newborn
What recent celebrity divorce list would be complete without Britney and K-Fed? I almost didn’t include them, though, because Sean Preston turned one in September and only just entered toddlerhood. According to the Wiki, toddlers are between one to three, or maybe two to five, so little SP counts.

These breakups during their children’s toddlerhood may serve a biological purpose. Anthropologists have found that couples typically break up when their children are toddlers, with a peak in breakups after four years together. Having seen their children through the vulnerable baby stage, they are free to find another mate and reproduce again, which is our biological imperative.

The four-year pattern, as well as a tendency to divorce at the height of one’s reproductive years, also makes sense from a sociological point of view. “For instance,” Fisher says, “a prehistoric male who ‘divorced’ his partner after seeing one offspring through infancy would have had the opportunity to pick a younger ‘spouse’ more capable of bearing and raising babies. A female might leave one mate to ‘marry’ a better provider for her and her forthcoming children.”

Notable recent celebrity divorces that did not involve toddlers include Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson, Eminem and Kim Mathers, and Richie Sambora and Heather Locklear. Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards have two toddlers, though, and I didn’t include them since their split is old news.
