The National Enquirer reports that Brad Pitt is feeling confined within his fishbowl life with ever-shrinking starlet Angelina Jolie and their three children. They use his understandable grumpiness at paparazzi in the days following Angelina’s mother’s death as evidence, and drag out the old story that he’s frustrated with Angelina’s jealousy over his ex, with the added detail that he wants out of the relationship.
I don’t really buy that, and think they’re just jumping to conclusions based on public knowledge about the couple.
The one thing they do say that seems like legitimate news to me is the fact that Pitt initially refused to kiss a pretty redhead for a scene in the movie he’s currently filming in New Orleans, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. He eventually gave in, but why would he say no at first? There must have been some reason behind it.
Here’s what The Enquirer says about Brangelina’s relationship and Brad’s refusal to kiss an actress for a scene:
“I just can’t take it anymore. I want out!”
Those are the anguished words of Brad Pitt – who’s in the middle of a meltdown and desperately seeking a way out of his fishbowl life with Angelina Jolie.
Concerned pals say they realized Brad had nearly reached the breaking point when the normally mellow actor exploded at photographers – twice!
And they blame Brad’s emotional crisis on the constant public scrutiny connected to having too many kids too fast, his guilt over dumping ex-wife Jennifer Aniston and Angelina’s raging jealousy…
Some insiders are wondering if the effects of Angelina’s jealousy have now spread to the set of Brad’s latest movie.
According to a source on the set of “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” the highly professional actor stunned director David Fincher by refusing to kiss a gorgeous redhead specifically chosen for a scene filmed on Jan. 22.
“Brad looked at her and said, ‘Nah, I don’t think so,'” explained the set source.
“David had actually picked the woman personally and didn’t understand why Brad didn’t like her.
“The feeling among the crew was that Angelina didn’t like the girl because she was a stunning redhead. Obviously, Brad has been known to fall in love with a co-star, so he may havebeen trying to avoid any problems at home.”
In the end, Brad was convinced to do the kissing scene, said the source.

It could just be that Brad thought his character would never be able to score with a woman like that or that he didn’t like the way the scene was unfolding.
I don’t really believe this story because it’s all publically known details about Brad and Angelina – they mention Angelina pulling Brad away from Courteney Cox at the Golden Globes – with the emotional details filled in.
One cute real story about Brad and Angelina is that they wanted to escape incognito from a New Orleans restaurant near their new home there, and staff gave them Mardi Gras disguises so that they could make it home without being recognized.
Star also reports in this week’s issue that Brad and Angelina are not safe in their new digs in New Orleans because they live in a house that faces the street in a crime-ridden area. One of their neighbors was murdered in a foiled heist on January 4th. Brad and Angelina have gotten rid of most of the strong-armed security that got them into trouble in Namibia and India with abuse toward the paparazzi, but they do seem to have a bodyguard or two on hand.

I agree with you. This story is total bullshit. Angelina seems like the least jealous person I can thinkg of. I don’t think for one second he regrets his decison to leave Jen and he’s crabby because they just lost an important member of their family and the paps won’t leave them alone. I’d be crabby too! Some of these quotes these magazines use are so bogus it is ALMOST funny.

I mean all the stories about her being jealous of Brad’s parents being close to Jennifer are all made up as well.
Every time they come out with this stuff I always think that the party most likely to be jealous is Brad – of attentions paid to Angelina. I mean she springs for both teams, and I remember when Jennifer Aniston posed with Jake Gyllenhaal for promo pics for The Good Girl her body language was so distancing it made me think she was trying to to trigger her then husband’s jealousy.
I think it’s more likely to be the other way around.
I’m sure he’s short-tempered with the paparazzis but it’s mainly because of the stress of her mother’s passing and the fact that they won’t leave them alone. I wonder if he really refused to kiss someone on the set-it seems weird and unprofessional. Maybe it’s more about artistic differences about the scene rather than being afraid of AJ being jealous. The tabloid is probably making this part up.

Brad was upset with the paps in LA in the week after AJ’s mom died and he and AJ had to deal with all the details when someone dies. Anyone would be tired of paps at that time. The paps can’t get to them easily in NOLA so the NE is making up stuff as usual (which they have admitted that they do). NE and Star circulation numbers are really low. The Jolie-Pitts seem to be living mostly peaceful lives in NOLA. Saw on another website that Brad and Maddox went to the IMAX in NOLA last Sunday-a father son activity. Brad seems to really love the kids and Angelina and his life now. He keeps saying he wants even more children, and AJ says the same thing. But that does not make exciting news for a tabloid to print.

What a crock. If AJ is jealous with her looks and good fortune, what hope is there for the rest of us mere mortals? I think she’s way too cool to be the jealous type and the on-set quote was taken out of context.
Of course Angelina wouldnt mind Brad doing a movie with Gwyneth Paltrow…he dumped her donkies ago and now Gwyn’s happily married (some would say devoted) to Chris Martin with two kids. Gwyn’s hardly the type to run off and dump her family for someone who originally dumped her… I think Gwyn’s just about the safest person for Brad to make a movie with in Angelina’s eyes…he’s been there and done that already!!!
I also believe that there’s no smoke without fire and even tho Angelina and Brad are amazingly beautiful people, it doesnt mean to say that they dont have insecurities like the rest of us. Angelina seems like a woman who knows what she wants – she’s confirmed that by being a go getter ie pretty much getting what she wants when she wants it and I believe that out of the two of them, she definitely wears the trousers in her relationship with Brad. So it wouldnt surprise me in the least if Brad’s concern about kissing a beautiful redhead was due to getting a roasting at home from the Mrs.

Are you serious about believing anything written in the National Enquirer? Please. The “stunning redhead” the Enquirer is referring to was Cate Blanchett in a wig and there was no refusal to kiss her. If you need proof that it was Cate Blanchett, then I suggest you go to any number of Brad Pitt image galleries and find the photos from the CCOBB shoot that show that Blanchett is wearing a red wig for this movie.
The National Enquirer’s claims that Pitt wants out of the relationship are so seriously flawed that you ought to be ashamed for repeating their story. I dissected this story myself and can explain away every so-called fact they present. If I can do that, then YOU as a professional blogger ought to be able to do the same and arrive at the same conclusion that I did – it’s total bull and not even well-written bull at that.
Uh…Brad is NOT acting in the movie that Paltrow is doing – Dirty Trick. His Plan B production company is producing it. At the moment Brad does NOT have any firm commitments beyond CCOBB. Whether this story is true or not, I personally think Angie is the jealous-type. Being the world’s most beautiful couple doesn’t guarantee perfection. Everyone thought Brad and Jen would last forever because she’s beautiful (which I think is so plain jane she’s effing boring) and he’s beautiful and would have beautiful children together (which never happened) and etc. Well, THAT didn’t last, did it? I knew it wouldn’t anyways. So what makes you think him and Angie would too? Because they made a freaking baby together?? PLEASE!!! Brad is a cheater and always will. Even his high school buddies said Brad was known to break girls hearts.
