Madonna is set to play 10 European dates starting in August on her “Sticky and Sweet” tour, which will last just under a month. She knows that in order to remain relevant she’s got to pull out all the stops, which may include bringing in a younger tabloid target in a blatant attempt to get press. For her last tour Madonna rehashed some of her tired old blasphemy, and that worked slightly, but this time she’s ready to really get people talking.

The Sun reports that Madonna will record a video with Britney tomorrow that will be shown as a background during her upcoming show. Madonna has also reportedly asked Britney to join her as a walk-on guest on the tour. There’s some analysis that this will help Britney’s stagnant career, but unless she can pull it together in less than a month that’s doubtful.

MADONNA has asked troubled BRITNEY SPEARS to join her on tour — and pals hope she will give guidance to the young star.

The Queen Of Pop, 49, is set to record a video with Britney, 26, in New York tomorrow.

The footage will be broadcast on huge screens as part of Madge’s Sticky and Sweet tour, which kicks off on August 23.

Madonna has also invited Britney to appear in person on some of the world tour dates.

A source close to Britney revealed: “They are recording a video together on Sunday that will provide the backdrop for part of Madonna’s show.

“And they are talking about Britney taking the stage on a few of the dates too.

“There’s no doubt that her [sic] and Britney together will spell fireworks again.

This is all about Madonna, and no matter how Britney performs she’ll bring attention to Madge and her show. This woman likes to rub her crotch all over the Catholic church and staged a mock crucifixion while wearing a crown of thorns for her last tour. She even invited the pope to come see it. Madonna doesn’t give a shit if Britney is mentally or physically prepared to go on stage with her. She’d prop her up on a platform and wheel her around if she could get away with it. Madonna puts on an amazing show, there’s no doubt about that, but she also does whatever she has to do to stay famous, and it sure has worked for her so far.

Okay, I know she’s 68 and I know she’s a legend and I know I reenact Private Dancer whenever I’m alone and cleaning the house, but can we talk about this for a minute:

With all her hundreds of millions she couldn’t have someone bring her a dress that cost at least $20 to wear to a ceremony that has been preceded by such notables as Dwight D. Eisenhower, Josephine Baker, Winston Churchill, Barbra Streisand, Victor Hugo and Julia Child? (I love me a notable that’s a culinary goddess.)

I mean I KNOW her skin is freakin’ porcelain and her blush is the perfect shade of warm apricot and she’s got fabulous cleavage and gams for days, but you’re a Buddhist Tina Turner: Your hair doesn’t have to be closer to God!

Two years ago Eminem beat up a guy in a strip club. No big surprise, right? Right. We haven’t heard a lot from Eminem in a while, but it makes sense that when we would, it’d be for some kind of fight. Well even though the guy laid low for a couple years, he’s decided that NOW is the time to sue the rapper – for the gigantic sum of $25,000.

A man has sued Eminem, claiming the rapper punched him two years ago while they were in the bathroom of a Detroit strip club.

The Detroit News reports Miad Jarbou of Royal Oak filed the lawsuit Thursday in Oakland County Circuit Court seeking more than $25,000 in damages. The suit claims Eminem punched him July 13, 2006, at Cheetah’s On the Strip Gentlemen’s Club.

Eminem spokesman Dennis Dennehy declined to comment Friday on the lawsuit.

Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III, wasn’t charged following reports of an incident at the club in 2006.

The strip club is located on Eight Mile Road, the border between Detroit and the northern suburbs made famous by Eminem’s hit 2002 film “8 Mile.”

The incident happened after Jarbou and a friend approached Eminem for an autograph in the club’s bathroom. The rapper was at the urinal, and his bodyguard turned Jarbou away. According to his account, he was trying to explain to the bodyguard that he wanted to meet Eminem when the rapper turned around and punched him.

He’s claiming the classic lawsuit issues due to the incident; that he’s undergone physical pain and suffering, emotional distress, has dealt with ongoing serious injuries requiring medical treatment and suffered embarrassment, humiliation, the burden of medical expenses, wage loss and other economic and non-economic damages. So pretty much that one punch ruined his whole life.

Normally I’d think a lawsuit over this was stupid, but the guy’s only asking for$25,000. That’s like a weekend in Vegas to Eminem. I’m surprised he hasn’t just paid it. It seems fair for punching a guy for pretty much no reason.

George Clooney just gave a pretty funny interview to In Touch magazine, in which he talked about the pressures of being as high profile – and damn sexy – as he is. And he admitted that looking like George Clooney takes a lot of work – but he’s happy to do it.

Do they [George’s friends] ask you for advice?
Mostly the usual stuff. What does it take to appeal to women?

What’s your reply?
I can only talk about my own experiences. With me, it’s the hair. If you have beautiful and strong hair, then you’re successful with women.

So you wouldn’t be sexy bald?
In the case of hair loss, it’s all over.

How long does it take you to get dressed?
I spend at least three or four hours a day in the bathroom. Being sexy day and night is a big responsibility. And I like taking it!

George also pulls a John Mayer and says that his player reputation is undeserved. And he notes that while he was quick to always profess his hatred of marriage after his divorce, it never even occurred to him that he might have a problem with commitment. Clooney also says that he hasn’t dated nearly as many women as he’s been linked to by the press.

Still, he insists he’s capable of settling down. “For a long time I took every chance to say that I was not going to marry again,” says George, who divorced actress Talia Balsam in 1993. “So I became very careful after a failed marriage. But am I afraid of committing? It’s never occurred to me.”

So you’re not anti-marriage?
What do people say: A good wife at the cooker is worth gold!

What’s it like being one of Hollywood’s biggest playboys?
I’m not a playboy. If I had been with all the women that I was said to have been with, I wouldn’t have had the time to shoot one single movie.

I don’t know if I quite buy all of that, but I don’t think George discards women nearly as quickly – or as easily – as a lot of men in Hollywood. I’m sure there’s plenty out there that go through women much faster than they can possibly be linked to, even by the aggressive press. Ever since he broke up with Sarah Larson, George has had to defend his lifestyle and relationship choices quite a bit in the media. I’d say “poor guy” or something like that – but clearly he’s still doing fine. And just working on maintaining his sexiness.
