poor thing… i almost feel sorry for her. i could only imagine the translation.. it probably left out the intelligence bit.
although part of me thinks that even if they did put it in it would have went over her head anyway.
for someone who gets around a lot she seems rather naive.
wetten das was fun when i was a child, the show looses viewers and gets lamer everytime. several (and i mean like 15) years ago the show was huge, check wikipedia for the guestlist…
I’m studying in Erfurt, where the Paris Hilton bit was filmed. Fortunately, I had no idea she was here, but some friends saw people carrying bathtubs through the town for the bet. *Sigh* And I thought I left her behind in America.
“When Paris came on stage she kissed the five guests that were already there on both cheeks, although thats not a custom at all in Germany.” –> I have been living in Munich, Germany for 8 years now, and yes it is a custom here. I can’t stand her either so its not like I wanna defend her, not in the least, but it just happens to be custom here, thats all 🙂
kissing on both cheeks is not a custom in germany traditionally, but became popular when russians, spains etc came to the country, it´s also widely spread under young people as a cool gesture to replace the more common hug.
It was so lame – this cow is so stupid it’s a wonder she knows how to speak – I watch the show since I was a kid – and I hate it when people like Paris are allowed to be in it.
She should just disappear or stay at least far away from Europe.

BTW, the host is called Gottschalk not Gottshank 🙂
Ach du Lieber!
Thanks Miss Behave I will correct that 8)
And the goalie’s name is Kahn, not Khan. 🙂

Thanks Sarah, I am trying to work too quick today and will correct that.
i’m amazed to be saying that but Paris looks pretty on those photos. About the show – it isn’t all that. Paris handled it nicely.
And i don’t like her.

Paris in Europe looks…..wrong
Hilton that is
Hate to be nitpicky, but you might want to check the spelling on your headline as well. “unintential” should maybe be “unintentional”?

Nice dress.
I wondered where my curtains went.
Even though I hate Paris, I studied abroad in Germany for a semester and yes, it is common practice to kiss on both cheeks when greeting someone.
