This story made me laugh out loud. I mean… I’ll buy that Lindsay Lohan is a victim of her predatory parents, of Hollywood, of her various drug and alcohol addictions. But let’s not gild the lily, okay? She’s not poor, pathetic Lindsay who is a victim of everyone and everything – she’s a cold little sociopath, a crack hustler who will lie, cheat, steal and f-ck her way into getting what she wants. Case in point: Lindsay has been given leeway to leave her “Sober House” for her LA “Crack House” several times already. How did she talk her way into that, especially given that she’s supposed to be in rehab past the holidays, by court order? Ugh. Anyway, Radar reports that the latest “Lindsay is a victim, for reals” story is that Lindsay Lohan has secretly battled… anxiety. Yes, she’s anxious. Just wait until you hear WHY she’s anxious:
Lindsay Lohan is making “remarkable progress at Betty Ford”, but her treatment team is now turning their attention on an issue that has yet to be made public.
While her substance abuse problems and history of family-related strife have often made headlines, RadarOnline.com has learned that the Mean Girls star, 24, is also struggling with anxiety associated with the continued fallout from her infamous 2007 DUI arrest.
On the night of her arrest in Santa Monica, Lohan allegedly chased Michelle Peck – the mother of her former assistant – and Tracie Rice – Peck’s passenger.
Lohan also had three male passengers in her car who, along with Rice, are suing the actress for assault and negligence among other claims.
There is a status conference for the case next month, and a source with knowledge of the situation told RadarOnline.com that while the “case will be likely going to trial next April,” it is currently “causing Lindsay a great deal of anxiety”.
The source said, “Lindsay is taking responsibility for her actions, but this group of people just won’t be happy until they can drag Lindsay’s name through the mud. Lindsay’s legal team has made reasonable settlement offers, but those have been rejected.”
Lindsay’s Betty Ford team “working with Lindsay to specifically deal with the anxiety, and the stress she is feeling about this. Lindsay and her doctors don’t want this to have a negative impact on her sobriety. If this was anyone else besides Lindsay Lohan, this lawsuit never would have been filed,” the source added.
Financial constraints also have LiLo concerned.
The source revealed: “The fact is Lindsay has no money. The amount of money they are seeking is outrageous. Lindsay could be on the hook for punitive damages, and that is causing her even more concern. Lindsay is scheduled to begin filming Inferno early next year and she will show up to court to when the trial begins. Lindsay will do what is asked of her,” the source added.

She’s anxious because she hijacked a car! Poor, poor Lindsay. She’s the real victim in all of this, now I can see it! Now, don’t get the impression that I’m making fun of people with genuine anxiety disorders – I’m not. I went through a stage where I had some very scary panic attacks and I was briefly put on antidepressants (which I swiftly went off of). I’m just saying, it sucks, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I’m also saying that Lindsay needs to stop with the drug-seeking behavior, because this sounds suspiciously like she’s making a play to go back on some prescription meds.
One last thing about the crack hustler: she wants to go home to New York for a Crackhead Christmas. It’s like she didn’t hear one word that her judge said – that she needed to be in rehab through the holidays, because that’s when many people seek out drugs and alcohol.

Single parents; military AND their spouses; veterans; anyone living paycheck-to-paycheck who needs a dartboard to determine which bills will get paid this month; teenagers; college students; hell, even small children get anxious over things that are big to them…
I could keep going, but I think I’ve made my point. We all know Blohan isn’t equipped to handle life (without drugs & alcohol); and she hasn’t learned a damn thing other than how to further work the system. I’m thoroughly disgusted.

I’d say 99% of American’s suffer from anxiety. Look at the days we were living in….the economy, lack of jobs, not to mention the fear of terrorism. It’s a natural thing, I believe. I just say, you sew what you reap.
I do hope she gets help…addiction is a terrible thing – and I wish here nothing but success.

This has dragged on since 08 and the plaintiffs weren’t hurt or injured and Lindsay has offered them reasonable settlements.
Lindsay had Blair Berk as her lawyer there is no way the D.A who said there was no evidence and the witnesses weren’t credible was even going to attempt to add the “carjacking” charges.
They are asking for millions and complained that Lindsay only served 84 minutes.
Now after the July 6th verdict were she has since spent a fortune on legal costs, rehabs etc they probably wish that is all she did.
I love this entitled Queen Crackhead! The victims have now become a wild bunch – not stopping until they sully her name, which she has OBVIOUSLY never done herself. She doesn’t want to lose the rest of her $$ in a suit, because then how’s she going to pay for all that coke (which contributes to anxiety and paranoia)?

That is too funny. No offence to my neighbours to the south but Americans sue for EVERYTHING. This lawsuit would’ve been filed, regardless of the parties involved.
And like everyone else said, I have no sympathy for her apparent “anxiety” either. I’m certain every single person facing a court case feels some type of anxiety, she is no different.
I’m with everyone that said anxiety is common and that most people with anxiety don’t behave in the manner that Lohan does. Her feelings of entitlement and obvious delusion that her suffering is worse than anyone else’s, sickens me. What a waste of skin.
Yet another excuse for bad behaviour. The only time anyone recovers from alcoholism, other addictions and being total dickwads is when they admit that there is no excuse for their behaviour except that they had decided not to control it.

If she doesn’t want to spent thousands of dollars on legal costs and have anxiety etc, than maybe she shouldn’t crash her car, or she shouldn’t hi jack cars with occupants inside and speed down major highways, or drive drunk on more than one occasion, or fail multiple drug tests etc etc.
Maybe they are so keen on making their lawsuit to go through because no one else seems intent on prosecuting a repeat criminal in a manner that makes her understand that her behavior is unacceptable and she is LUCKY it hasn’t had more serious consequences, like KILLING herself or someone else.
And for the record, I LIKE Lohan, but this chick needs a reality check and maybe firm law suit and having to give up a big chunk of money (since jail time never seems to stick) is a way to help that reality check along.
This chick has had a free ride as far as I’m concerned, multiple second, third, and fourth chances and the opportunity to live a life which most people on earth can only dream about.

Well, I don’t like her but I do remember when she had talent and was pretty and seemed like she had a bright future ahead of her so I sincerely hope she manages to get and stay clean.
It doesn’t matter if she carjacked them 2 years ago or 2 months ago, there is no time limit on civil suits like this (I’m pretty sure anyway).
If she is so anxious about it, think about the plaintiffs, she DID injure them; she carjacked them & tore through the streets of LA with no regard to anyone or anything & then when she finally got caught she said the black kid did it. How is that not injurious to someone? And she did run over some guys foot, remember.

who doesnt have anxiety today?? when i was getting treated for my anxiety issues, i dont recall ever chasing my friends[assistants] parents down in a car full of hijacked and completely terrified passengers; and if they are sue-happy, i say more power to them! this trick will only “get it” when it hurts [her bank account]

I’m just saying they complained she only spent 84 minutes. Well now because of the excessive July 6th sentence she has spent 15 days in jail and 3 weeks in a psych ward. Then more jail, bail and rehab.

Maybe most people couldn’t afford Blair Berk but anyone else would have got the same charges as Lindsay in the same circumstances if they had her as their lawyer.
i have super severe anxiety disorder and my boyfriend has ADD. put those two together, go to the doctor, and you’ve got a drug addict who can scratch her itch for $4 a refill at walmart. the xanax and adderall and ambien and klonopin that they hand out to those of us who do have legit emotional problems can get anyone hooked. trust me.
lindsay, QUIT IT. just go sit in rehab sketching leggings for a couple more months, wait it out, don’t take any pills. you could theoretically recover from this addiction nonsense if you just take it seriously for a few months.

I’m from Germany. i always read the lindsay-related posts and i don’t know if it is my german”ness” or lindsays general crackhead”ness” but in which parallel universe is it possible to get away with kidnapping three people in a car? in germany that means jail time not rehab. just because she is addicted to something (crack,meth, adderall, cocaine, anxiety, herself, her mom- take your pick) doesn’t mean she should be allowed to play the pity-card or in crackhead logic: I’m addicted and that was my way of saying i need help. Interesting. Maybe i try my luck at the Green Card lottery and move to the US.

As someone who has battled debilitating panic attacks over the years (and never got addicted to Xanax or any other drug for it either!) her “anxiety” makes me want to punch her in the face.
