I cannot stress enough how much Robert Pattinson needs to take a class on red carpet posing. The boy always looks unhinged and ridiculous on red carpets, because he’s always making crazy faces. I get that he thinks it’s funny (maybe), and sure, I had a giggle when I was sifting through all of these photos, trying to find pics of Sparkles where he didn’t look like “ZOMG SPARKLEDONG CODE RED”. He needs a class. Or just someone should sit him down and say “Dude, there are millions of photos of you on the red carpet where you look like an idiot.”
Anyway, these are photos from last night’s premiere of Water for Elephants. Reese Witherspoon wore a lovely Jason Wu cocktail dress (with beading!) that I kind of love. Yes, it’s a look that we’ve seen from Reese before, but there’s a reason she comes back to this silhouette time and time again: it really, really works on her. Reese told People Magazine that it is “great” being married again, but that Sparkles still hasn’t sent her a wedding gift: “Not yet and I am waiting… Tell him tick-tock, I am waiting!” Reese also let her Twihard come out a bit, telling People on the red carpet that she was “so lucky. We had great time. Not only is he super sexy and obviously incredibly handsome, but he’s really a lovely, nice person.”

Aww, poor Sparkles. I find it kind of endearing in a way that he’s a big goofy mess on the red carpet. I’d definitely be the same up there, although obviously it’s not part of my job to bring it at high profile events…

I’m laughing at how unflattering all these pictures are! Is Reese’s chin getting even MORE prominant as she gets older? I don’t really have any animosity towards either of these two, but I seriously hope this movie fails miserably- mostly to spite whoever is to blame for casting these two. WFE was a great book and I’m so annoyed that it’s being portrayed by Sparkles and R.W.
Who cares about the two “leads”. Give me Christoph Waltz any day. He puts them both to shame.

I love Reese dress but her make up sucks, she seems 40 years older.
I like it a lot, although there are a few things I would change. The hemline is odd (she’s too small to have that much going on) and the neckline should have been slightly lower.
@mia girl; agreed. Sparkles has a very animated and expressive face. I find it charming. And my guess is he knows full well how to pose for photos (didn’t he have a stint as a model when he was a teenager?)but the funny face ones appear to be when he’s responding/talking to people.

Or maybe he thinks he’s being endearing by appearing idiotic. Eh, he still hasn’t won me over. I can’t help feeling his interviews and such are a schtick. Not saying he’s a bad guy, but…he doesn’t do it for me. In the end, he just looks drugged out.

Didn’t Reese say something not so flattering about RPattz while they were filming or shortly afterwards? Now that it looks like the movie won’t be her next huge hit, she’s backpedaling.
I like the dress minus the attempt at the bubble skirt, don’t like her make-up and wonder what happened to her chin recently, as it seems to have gotten more prominent. Dieting for the wedding?

have nothing against reese or pattinson but the main reason i will watch it is waltz! ever since inglorious basterds i have an appetite for anything he is in!

I don’t get how they could have cast HIM in this movie with Reese and the uber Brilliant GOD I LOVE, LOVE LOVE him – but not that way – Christoph Waltz! What an actor! I can go on and on and on about him all day.
@xxodettexx I WANT to see it because of Christoph and I like Reese but I cannot pay money for a movie with HIM in it. I don’t want to contribute to anyone thinking HE can open a non-Twilight movie. It’s my *ahem*th b-day this weekend. I really don’t want to endorse HIM.
Boring. Everything and anything having to do with Reese Witherspoon is completely and utterly boring. Ditto for “Sparkles.”

I agree with whomever said they didn’t feel any real ‘chemistry’ between Sparkles & Reese.
Seems like she has a lot more ‘confidence’ than he does (which makes sense), but it shows in the way they play their characters as well. Not bad acting, just… bad choice of pairing.
I hate to be shallow, but if I were her, I would get that chin surgery, like Heidi from the Hills show did. As she gets older and loses the fat from her face, that witch’s chin is becoming more pronounced.
I don’t care for the dress. Maybe if it didn’t have the beading on it I might have liked it. Other wise meh.

I love all of it except the bubble-skirt thingy. I don’t like bubble-skirts. But she looks lovely. I’m really digging the woman in the background in the last shot of Reese by herself. LOL!
PS–if R.Patz is really pulling those faces on purpose because he thinks it’s funny, that makes me like him even more. I kinda hate the whole “look at me, I’m People’s sexiest man alive and I know it and you know it and they all know it and I can squint my eyes and look off into the distance because that’ll make y’all even more in love with me” sort of thing. If he isn’t taking his whole persona as the sexiest vampire hero too seriously, then that makes me super happy. Can’t wait to see this movie. I hope it’s good.

i don’t like Reece dress, it look like a prom dress ,i like her hair though in the picture.Sparkles look extra excited though ,he looks cartoonist,or maybe because he knows Kristen is inside the theather waiting for him or something,he can’t help to be giddy!
