Bedhead already covered one of the first interviews with Woody Allen to come out of the Cannes Film Festival. Woody is there to promote his latest movie, Midnight in Paris, and these are some pics from the photo call. In my humble opinion, Rachel stole the show in this Maxime Simoens dress with floral appliqués. While the dress is kind of bridesmaid-y and bridal in general, Rachel looks stunning. She’s just… so pretty it hurts. I’m not a huge fan of her as a blonde, but this current blonde she’s working isn’t so bad. Not bad at all.

wow! what a treat, loving these beautiful ladies today, it’s nice to be able to give positive comments on fashion and persona, she pulls this dress off, no one else would be able to, beautiful inside and out.
It’s her make-up that I don’t like. Not subtle enough.

Can someone enlighten me? Please tell me why Adrien Brody is a douche? I’ve never heard or seen anything that convinced me he is one. However, I don’t manage to follow all celeb gossip, so I could be really wrong. Someone explain.

He is not a douche. And you’re right: there has never anything (other than his poor taste in clothes and women) that could confirm the “douche” tag attached to his name. I have to attend a class in a few minutes so I really don’t have the time to explain it better, but you can check the other posts about Brody here on Celebitchy. I’m among the regulars who feel the need to defend him (Liana as well, and she has stated, more than once, that she has worked with him and that he’s more than “easy to work with”, professional, nice and kind). The douche label may be based simply on the fact he doesn’t know how to pose for pictures at red carpets (see his pouty lips above), his clothing style and some of the girls he dates.
P.S.: Lainey — from Laineygossip — started calling him a douche some years ago (he was photographed talking to Paris Hilton at a club, and attending one of her Halloween parties). She calls him a douche because he looks like a douche sometimes, not because she has actually seen him behaving like one. Maybe she started a trend.

Love her as a blonde. It reminds me of Regina George. She was so stunning in Mean Girls. She’s just so. pretty. The dress is not what I would have chosen, but it works for her. I love how it’s very romantic, but still perfectly tailored and figure flattering. Lovely.
