Jennifer Aniston got a tattoo of her dead dog’s name on her foot

aniston15

The weirdest thing happened with Jennifer Aniston. She’s a HOMEWRECKER!!! No, that’s not the weird thing, honestly. She got a tattoo on her foot. Because her boyfriend of just a few weeks – the one that she took to her taping of Inside the Actor’s Studio – has lots of tattoos, and Aniston can play with the big, hardcore boys, right? Why is Aniston so full of conspiracies lately? Anyway, we don’t have the photos where you can make out the blurry cursive on right foot, but you can see them here, at Dlisted. According to People Magazine, who got the word from Aniston’s rep, the tattoo says “Norman” – after her recently deceased dog, the one whose death announcement came, oddly enough, weeks after he died, and on the same day Brad Pitt’s film premiered at Cannes. When Aniston did her taping of Inside the Actor’s Studio, she also said that “Norman” was her favorite word. So… did she really get her dead dog’s name tattooed on her?

Here’s the thing: the recent photos out there of Aniston’s feet are kind of blurry, as I said. I gave them a cursory 10-second examination, and it honestly doesn’t look like it says “Norman” despite what Aniston’s rep said. Life & Style recently noted that one of Justin’s tattoos says “Odi et Amo” (Latin for “I hate and I love”) – I swear, it looks like Aniston’s tattoo has a big “O” at the beginning. Maybe she just got “Oprah” tattooed on it. It would make more sense to me.

But, whatever. I’m sure I’m wrong. If her rep confirmed it to People, I guess she really did get her dog’s name tattooed on her. Norman really did see Aniston through a lot of stuff, and he was her longest relationship ever. I wonder if Justin went with her to the tattoo parlor? I wonder if Justin thinks getting your dog’s name for a tattoo is HARDCORE?!

Bleh, I love my dogs to pieces, but it seems like shes using poor Norman to generate as much positive press as possible.

  2. katnip says:

I had a loved pet and grieved the lose. But I don’t think I would have done the tat thing, but that is just me. Why are they talking so much about Norman now and not when they released the news of his death. Oh well. I’m sure people will go on and on about how beautiful it is and all.

And I’m sure we are going to hear a lot of Norman in the coming week or so.

  3. Jackson says:

It’s a lovely and tastefully done tribute to the only faithful man in her life up to that point. I can totally understand her reasoning.

  4. mln76 says:

Hmm I’m not going to hate on her for this if it’s genuine that’s sweet. If it’s some attempt to suddenly be a hard ass at 40 it’s too pathetic to comment on.

  5. nnn says:

I personnally find that creepy to tattoo the name of a dog or any other animal, even if it’s your closest companion.

But to each his own. It’s her body and her prerogative and her feelings.

  6. Boo says:

As someone who has lost an animal who was her soul mate, I can totally understand it. I also admire it. I got my first tattoo after age 40, not to be “hardcore” but because something profound happened, and I had always wanted a tattoo, and I finally decided to do what I wanted and not care what others thought about it. i suspect she is in the same situation.

  7. brin says:

It’s a sweet tribute to her beloved pet.

  8. i have lots of tattoos and would totally get my pets’ names and/or their paw prints tattooed on. i have gotten tattooed for less significant reasons. i find it sweet that she got “Norman” tattooed and i love the placement.

  9. The Truth Fairy says:

I called this! I knew she would start dressing differently and getting tattoos to match her new boyfriend. Pathetic.

  10. teehee says:

I would hesitate to claim that this is to generate positive press.

Personally I wanted to tattoo my dog’s names or likenesses onto myself even years after their passing; or at least wear charms with their initials as tribute. The bond between you and your pets is intense and you never forget them!

  11. Chloe says:

“Jen decided to honor Norman, the only love in her life who never betrayed her, says an insider.”

Okay, okay, I’ve just made that up. And whatever it says, it does not matter. You got a tatoo Jennifer! You so loco.

edit: The announcement of the pup’s death came oddly after a few weeks because Jen needed her time to heal before going public! It had *nothing* to do with the Pitt’s movie.

    *smirk*

  12. B says:

LoL she’s still hurt over Norman so let’s forget about that Heidi Bivens person. She doesn’t matter anyway.

  13. Louise says:

This is more funny than sweet to me. I don’t understand why people tattoo pets’ names or likeness. Isn’t Jennifer one of those people who’s like “my body is my temple”, wouldn’t defile her body with one. Or was that coming from her fans who bash Angelina for having tattoos? Sorry for bringing up Angelina but it’s so funny and ironic that Jennifer is doing things that her fans have been bashing Angelina for the past 6 years.

  14. Jennifer says:

Initial reaction was “weird!” But the more I thought about it, the more I liked it. Norman was a more loyal and better companion than some of her boyfriends/ex-husband. Plus, the tattoo is in an easy to conceal location and is a nice tribute to him.

  15. naturegirl says:

THE MEN RUN AWAY BUT THE POOR DOG HAD TO DIE TO GET AWAY FROM HER. R.I.P. NOW NORMAN… R.I.P…

  16. really says:

    This crazy BEE-oooooooooo-tch.

  17. Maritza says:

So now every time one of her pets dies she’ll be getting a tattoo?

  18. Becca B says:

That’s the weirdest thing! If the tattoo really says the dog’s name, she’s offically crazy.

  19. The Truth Fairy says:

    @naturegirl — LMAO!!

  20. Turtle Dove says:

It’s a nice tribute. I agree with the OP that this is an easy place to conceal if needed.

  21. Cheyenne says:

Why on her foot? She’s got some ugly feet and a tattoo there won’t make them look any better.

  22. Alix says:

I’ll never understand the fascination with this incredibly boring woman.

  23. Laughternrain says:

Unlike some narrow-minded people I don’t have a problem with tats. But if she got this, I question why she put it on her foot? I hope she has it on her outer foot, and not underneath? If it were me I’d be feeling like I was walking *on* him. Even so. Imagine, on your dirty feet! I could NEVER put a tattoo of my beloved pet on any part of my FOOT! I would be insulting his memory. Not a very nice thing to do, if its true.

  24. jc126 says:

It is sweet. I adore my pets, but I wouldn’t get a tattoo of their names or likenesses (or that of my loved ones) for the simple reason that I don’t believe it’s healthy to constantly remind myself of their passing. It’s like people who put memorials in bumper stickers on their cars. To me, it would be a constant jab, so I prefer the memory to the physical memorial.

  25. Lucky Charm says:

So does this mean she’s finally done blaming Brad & Angelina for taking away her A-list life? Do we have “Five Years After Norman: Frumpy, Fading & 47!” to look forward to now?

  26. lilred says:

I think this is a nice tribute. Theres nothing wrong with having a pets name tattooed on you have you seen some of the other stupid tattoos other people get.

  27. Kiska says:

She marred her lovely skin with the name of her dead dog? Well at least it wasn’t one of her short lived boyfriend’s names.

  28. Dglandroy says:

Wow, you people are seriously jaded. I feel sorry for you, not her. Just a bunch of mean girls with a pack mentality. You should be embarrassed by the things you write on here.

  29. Lady D says:

    jc126, agree completely.

  30. dfsdg says:

She has some wrecked feet! Also her face looks so bloated, it is hard, no softness to her face. It is actually painful to look at her face.

It seems like a mid life crisis. She and her publicist are so desperate to shove this relationship down everyone’s throats. There are daily updates on her, she is not even trying to have a private life, instead every detail of her life is on People . com.

  31. Sunshine Daze says:

Better her dog than a boyfriend. At least the dog can’t break up with her. Maybe she can date Jesse James now… well, after he marries Kat Von D of course.

  32. blonde on the dock says:

@Dglandroy: I was just going to say the same thing. The comments are really just a reflection of themselves. Sad they have to stoop so low.
She loved her dog. What a sweet tribute to Norman. He was adorable. She gave him a good life he might not have had otherwise. He was a rescue dog. Says a lot about her heart.

  33. munchies says:

    shes not pretty to me…

poor dog, even to his death is still tied to Aniston. Let him rest in peace.

  34. original kate says:

meh. if i were a tattoo type i would probably get my dogs’ names somewhere. they are true friends and loyal companions, and one of them scared off a burly man who was trying to break into my apartment at 2 am. it’s not like jen got some enormous marilyn monroe portrait (megan fox) or some big writing that was mispelled (rhianna?).

  35. kira says:

Her PR Rep is making announcements to People magazine about her tattoos now? Call me jaded–but this wouldn’t be to divert attention from all those cheating reports? And the tacky PDA pictures taken by Terry Richardson only a week after the girlfriend moves out? Funny how her Rep can talk about her tattoos, her pets, and everything else. But, he never once mentions Justin’s girlfriend and the cheating allegations. Hmm… 😉

  36. Michelle says:

I love the idea. I would do the same. She walked with her dog alot. Her foot is a perfect place for the tatoo.

  37. layla says:

People have Lady GaGa’s face, Elvis, Marilyn etc tattoos. General public that don’t even KNOW these people. They also tattoo tribal scripts to which they have no connection or heredity.

I hardly think a tattoo of Norman’s name – her companion of 15yrs! – is absurd.

I am not a JA fan, but her love for her dog is undenyable and it is quiet possibly the one thing that makes her somewhat more than an over exposed hair tossing 2dimensional shell.

I’d take a Norma n tattoo over a pompous Latin quote … oh wait.

  38. Violet says:

    Tribute to Norman? Sure.
Suck-up gesture for new douche? Yup.
    Attention-grabbing PR move? Definitely.

For someone who hasn’t had a career since Friends ended all those years ago, it’s amazing how she much media attention she still gets.

  39. zesty says:

Wow, I honestly don’t get the bitterness and hatred directed at this woman. Especially considering 99.999% of you have never even met her.

  40. kibbles says:

I’ll file this into “who cares” news. I don’t see anything offensive or heartwarming about her decision to get a tattoo. It’s her body and a personal decision, just as boring as everything else about her. Moving on…

  41. Anonymous says:

    Jen’s new image…

It just seems all too contrived.

For so many years it was the same old, same old – same old boring Jen with her same old boring color palette, same old boring outfits, same old boring hairdo, same old boring personal storyline, same old boring movies. Stuck in a rut Jen.

Now? A whole new Jen, complete with a whole new relationship with an “edgy” guy (and enigmatic ring), homewrecker scandal, “shady” new friends, plumped up lips, and, gasp, a tattoo! You wild thing, living on the edge. Next up? A dark, edgy movie maybe with some nudity.

I don’t buy that this isn’t a PR contrived spin – where individually, it would mean little to nothing; but collectively, it adds up to a carefully crafted revamped image.

  42. Rachel() says:

For a long time, I’ve disliked Angelina Jolie and liked Jennifer Anniston. Nothing to do w/ the Brad thing. But today, I see a story on AJ showing an ad talking about all of the numerous things she does for charity, and see a story on Anniston about how she got her dogs name tatooed on her foot.
So this begs the question, is it worse to be a superior, husband stealing, somewhat inconsistent actress, or a whiny, media whore who dates only hipster douche bags? Jolie wins.

  43. Runs with Scissors says:

“the tattoo says “Norman” – after her recently deceased dog, the one whose death announcement came, oddly enough, weeks after he died, and on the same day Brad Pitt’s film premiered at Cannes. ”

    @Violet: “Tribute to Norman? Sure.
Suck-up gesture for new douche? Yup.
    Attention-grabbing PR move? Definitely.”

Yeah, unfortunately, I have to agree.

Is there any relationship this woman HASN’T exploited?

I think Norman predictably got her some good press (who doesn’t love their pet?) so she’s hitting it up as much as possible (mentioning it on Actor’s Studio, tattoo, etc.)

Thank god this post hasn’t been overrun with endless personal pet stories.

Also, she and Norman really do have an uncanny resemblance (that’s not a put down btw, just an observation).

I think she probably loved her dog very much, but not enough to forgo exploiting the hell of him.

  44. Boo says:

NOT HAD A CAREER since Friends? Seriously? Since 2004 when the series ended, she has appeared–often in a lead role–in eleven films (according to IMDB)…including decent hits like Marley & Me. It’s fine if you don’t like her, but that’s an out and out lie.

  45. lizzy says:

    @Dglandroy – agree

It is a bit sad that some of you completely dehumanize her and box her into all your preconcieved notions of celebrity, not so much her as a person. Yes, I understand it is her choice to be a celebrity, but since when does that allow us to dehumanize her, even if she chooses to place herself in that position.

To say that its better that he died to get away from her etc. is just ignorant. She seemed to really love and care for that dog, and trust me if a dog is mistreated or unloved its easy to tell, and Norman in no way ever showed anything but love for his mommy Jen.

Also to say that getting a tat of a pet is crazy, well to each his own, just because it isn’t to your licking it doesn’t mean its crazy or should be taboo. Its that type of thinking even in little things that creates such intolerance in the world.

  46. Camille says:

She’s working hard to change her image isn’t she.
That or she’s going through something of a mid-life crisis. LOL

Wonder if she will get bashed now for having ‘trashy tattoos’ like she-who-must-not-be-named. Hehe

Nice tribute to her dog- if that is what her tattoo says (I didn’t bother to look at the pics).

  47. zest says:

    Totally, totally sweet. Love it.

  48. notafan says:

The tattoo does not say Norman, it says Needy, Needy, Needy.

  49. Lisa Turtle says:

    She looks old.

  50. Lucy says:

I was looking at the pictures of her walking with the tatoo on her foot and its not very clear, but honestly it doesn’t look like it says norman…I mean it probably does, but I would like to see it close up…if it does say norman I think that is sweet. I lost my beautiful german shepard after 13 years and I cried and cried…

  51. werty says:

lizzy: well to each his own, just because it isn’t to your licking it doesn’t mean its crazy or should be taboo

hehe licking, seriusly i want tattos and i dont see a problem with getting your late dogs name on your skin.
Its a matter of personal taste, but i wouldnt be surprised if it was for PR reasons to get a little sympathi (spelling?). And to impress her new bf but then again dont actually know her so i dont know, i just think its fun to speculate

PS lizzy i wasnt making fun of your spelling, i just thought it was funny and if you see any of my comments youll see that im not the best speller (in english).

  52. 10 says:

That’s because she is old, her skin looks dried out and wrinkly

  53. MB says:

Im no Aniston fan but I actually like that she did this.

Being a dog lover myself, I feel that this is a rather touching tribute. Pink went a step further and got her dogs face tatooed on her body after she found him drowned in her pool.

Dogs are the most unconditonally loving creatures who take you for what you are. I cant imagine how amazing and important that kind of relationship must be for celebrities who live in a world of make-believe, superficiality, and fakery.

Good for her. Possibly the first genuine thing she has done since becoming famous.

  54. Katherine says:

    ROTFLMAO . . . still rolling

    Please! How oddly predictable.

  55. werty says:

MB: Pink went a step further and got her dogs face tatooed on her body after she found him drowned in her pool.

Aww didnt know that, only knew she had “sir corky” on her forearm.
When i was a kid we had 2 ducks and one summer my stepdad built a little “duck mansion” in the stream that went through our property and one day the i found one of them dead with her head stuck to the fence, she had drowned and i felt so bad because i nagged alot about wanting them to have their own house so that they could have their own home when they started having babies (i was 8).
And i still tear up when i think about it.

  56. Chicken'sMom says:

Let’s hope she doesn’t get a tankful of exotic fish…she’ll be covered in tat’s in a few month’s time. This is just SO stupid.

  57. Chloe says:

    @B 12

“LoL she’s still hurt over Norman so let’s forget about that Heidi Bivens person. She doesn’t matter anyway.”

    ————-

    Behold the MAGIC of PR.

Before I get yelled at for being insensitive – no, I don’t find anything wrong with the tattoo, or hurting over one’s dog. Actually that one I can totally understand and empathize with.

It’s just.. Suddenly the gossip is no longer about JA doing to that Bivens girl exactly what she’s been so vocal about and condemning for the last 6 years. What really matters now is that she got the name of her dog tattooed on her foot!

And JA’s publicist clarifies the puppy tattoo thing within hours but issues no apology for that r***d slur on public television. I’m not gonna vilify Aniston for it, but seriously.

    Seriously.

    *shakes head in disbelief*

  58. lrm says:

wtf? why do people always say dogs are the most unconditional and ‘accept you for who you are?’
WTF WTF does this insanity mean?
I mean, are they going to see ‘gee, you left the toilet seat down and you are a little neurotic about your mother; I think I’ll get my alpo elsehwere?”

    Seriously-I JUST.DON’T.GET. this dog fascination.
I’m not saying pets are not wonderful, good company, protective, loving, etc.
    They are.

But, at what point did we decide that they somehow are more loving than humans, simply b/c they don’t leave us for being who were are?

    It’s effin bizarre.
Why WOULD they be conditionally loving?
Honestly, children are unconditionallyh loving too…they HAVE to be. They rely on the adults/parents in their life to care for them.
    Jesus.
It’s the same with dogs-hello? Of course they are unconditional. They need their ‘owners’.
And anyone who thinks otherwise is fooling themselves.
Seriously. I feel sorry for people who are so over the top about animals. Don’t forget that you are of the human species, are are children. Pet ‘companions’ [shudder at these terms-and who said their dog was their ‘soulmate’? wow. just wow.] are great company in life, but they are not unconditional in the way that your human psyche defines it. For real.

back to teh post-i don’t care.
I’m not a big tatto person, and i’m not ‘closed minded’ as another poster alluded to.
At this point, I am glad i never got one-b/c they are so trendy as to be no longer interesting, and they are certainly not edgy.

In fact, my not liking them is just as much my perrogative as someone liking them.
It is an aesthetic thing, not a lifestyle or political thing.
why do people somehow think they ar emore ‘open minded’ or liberal for liking or having tattoos?

I just dont find them attractive. Doesn’t make me Newt Ginrich.

Carry on with the dog tattoo/JA pontificating. I won’t stop you.
    ZZZZZ….

  59. Ell says:

I know this has been mentioned many times before, but the fact is there was not ‘annoucement’ about Norman passing, is was in a response to a question. I don’t understand why it’s being reported otherwise, and yet I do sadly.

I totally understand why she would have a ‘Norman’ tattoo, it’s a sweet tribute to a loyal companion.

Over the years I’ve been more and more disgusted by the hate for Jen. In fact it’s made me like her more, probably a sense of injustice.

People talk about her as if she has no feelings/emotions at all, as if her every move and life is planned for the public. It’s crazy and would be laughable if it wasn’t for the fact you are talking about another human being, a another woman. I suppose the poisonous comments have much more to do with the mentality of the poster than Jennifer.

  60. Mix-alot says:

Niiiice… her new biker tat is probably on the foot she kicked Normans ass with when he pooped the floor. Next she’ll have some tear drops on her cheek and some spider webs on her elbows. She’ll be a biker babe before you know it… Lol!

  61. MB says:

    @Wert: omg. Heartbreaking! *tear*

  62. I can totally understand the tattoo of Norman. Being a horseman I have seen countless ways of how people regard their animals.I have a fellow horseman who named her daughter after a horse that was dear to her. That being said, what I don’t understand is this:How can a person be such an animal lover, and never take a stand against the horrid racial attack her friend hurled at the Jolie-Pitt children?I’ve never been a fan,but I can honestly say thats when I started to dislike Aniston. And don’t hand me a bunch of crap, saying chelsea isn’t her responsability, because if ANY of my girls pulled a stunt like that,I would shove their heads in a water bucket,While I applaud all animal lovers,I think this is more on the side of a pr stunt.Animal lovers = awesome.Racial bully supporters = pathetic

  63. Crystalline says:

I agree that it doesn’t appear to actually say “Norman”–some of the letters appear to be a bit too tall for that. I’d sure like to see a clear picture soon. I hope she really meant this and isn’t doing it to impress that jerk. While I think she is pathetic, she would be disrespecting her dog by “honoring” him just for a boyfriend. I don’t think terribly of the idea, I get how moving a strong connection can be, I just hope it is what her rep says.

Also, this screams PR move to make her whole romance disappear a bit and to remind everyone how much they need to be sad for her.

  64. Venice says:

Ell- How about the death threats and evil wishes for Angelina while she was pregnant for both of HERS???? The evil wishes for her and her babies were disgraceful, and will not be forgotten!!1

  65. GeekChic says:

@werty, aww, that’s so sad. Made me tear up a bit. I’m so sorry. 🙁

I can completely understand getting a critter’s name tattooed on your body. If I were someone who wanted tattoos, I would probably do the same (I have no problem with tattoos, they’re just not for me). Of course, I’m a critter-rescuing sap who will take in just about anything in the kingdom Animalia that needs a home, so that would be a hell of a lot of names. At present I have five dogs, five cats, six snakes, a turtle, and two pet rats, all rescues. I would end up looking like Kat Von D (I think that’s her name?).

As for Aniston’s motivation, well, I won’t speculate. Maybe it is genuine, maybe not. It’s pretty clear, though, that she dearly loved that dog. I can’t and won’t fault her for that in any way at all.

  66. thegorilla says:

i don’t get what people have against her either, and i don’t think this is weird, pets are family members, i have my dog’s footprints tattooed on me – and oh my god that dog was sooo cute, with the blue eyes, aww

  67. lizzy says:

@werty – No offense taken, didn’t notice it when I posted it, but it does make for a funny sentence.

@Hanna of Machars – Just because she didn’t do it publicly it doesn’t mean she didn’t do it “behind the scenes.” Sometimes my friends say things that I don’t agree with, but I can’t walk around apologizing for them, or making statements about how I completely disagree with them. Had she sent out a press release it could have gone a few ways, people would think it was an insincere PR stunt, or could have taken it as proof she was behind it etc.

P.S. Not a Jen lover/supporter etc. I enjoy entertaining speculation and being “bitchy” at celebrities, but after a while how “bitchy” can we be towards a person before its just petty.

  68. stella says:

I wrote my cat’s name into a screenplay, and used my dog’s name in the title of a novel.. Some of us do things differently for our beloved pets that have passed on. Jennifer is obviously still hurting from the loss of her dog. I feel for her. Glad she has a new guy to help her move on.

  69. vanessa says:

Bunch of bitches on here. I think it’s super sweet she did that. My deceased mother in law had a pawprint of her dog in clay after she passed and had it in her house. I realize it’s a dog but to people who don’t have spouses, this is their constant companion. She loved him, cared for him, fed him, took him to the doctor if he was sick, as any mother/spouse would. The fact that people are turning this into a conspiracy makes me sick, get over it people. This woman wants nothing to do with BP or Jolie, her dog passed away. Next people will say she killed Norman for news. what is wrong with you crazy bitches?

  70. Josephina says:

    All doglovers–

I do not think anything is wrong with demonstrating love for the remembrance of a loved one. Jennifer supplies info about her dog’s sickness and subsequent death to the press. OK,so…

Why was the death of her dog news? Don’t most celebrities own a pet? Furthermore, why is a tat on her foot that says “Norman” news? Why was it important for her PR team to release a statement? Norman was not a celebrity dog, was he?

  71. april says:

To each his own but I would never do it.

  72. KatieM says:

I don’t think it’s odd at all! My wonderful yorkie, Taz, was with us for over 20 years. He wasn’t just a pet, he was family. We had a headstone made for him after he passed away, and had a little memorial. I think the tattoo is just a way to keep a little part of him with her.

  73. Overya says:

@KatieM totally agreed with you! I would consider ( consider only!! hahaha)to have a tat for my beloved and only dog if he passes away… so I understand Jen’s action, this girl has been through a public humiliation of her marriage and being betrayed, Norman was always with her but not other man so plz those boys wont waste our skin n inks . Hey no haters plz 😛

  74. Ramona Q says:

Obviously, JA doesn’t handle loss or change very well (exhibit: the divorce). Her perhaps overly-emotional reaction to her dog’s death seems on par for the delicate flower that is Jen Aniston.

  75. Addie says:

The fact that she loved her dog is a beautiful thing and I really don’t think it is fair to say he was freed from her with his death.

The problem that I personally have with this is WHY release such information?
It is news like this that is not really that important to the general public. So she got a tatoo of her dogs name. Fine. Why tell the world about it through your publisist??

  76. Laughternrain says:

Overya, WHAT ‘public humiliation’ and ‘betrayal’ did Jen go through? There was no affair, thats pretty well been proven. In FACT, it was Brad who was humiliated and betrayed, by HER. Any humiliation and betrayal (positive publicity) Aniston got, she did to HERSELF by making a fool of herself through milking her divorce which she helped cause, for all the sympathy she could get, and gullible fools like you fell for her ACT. The sympathy for this conniving and vindictive woman makes me really hate her, I don’t get how people can’t see through her phony act.

  77. (Dear Hanna of Machars,This is Norman.I heard what you said about my person up here in doggie heaven. My person may have offended you and others, but I did as a good dog should-I loved her unconditionally.I was a ray of sunshine that brightened her day.Wag Wag!Love,Norman)***After posting my first comment last night,I started thinking about my own departed furball.I could leave the house, and while I was gone, I could boot-kick an old lady, pull the wings off a butterfly, and poke a baby in the eye, come back home, and he’d be thrilled to see me.(Rest in peace Norman)Goin’to work.Hope ya’ll have nice day!

  78. Ell says:

@Venice your quote ‘Ell- How about the death threats and evil wishes for Angelina while she was pregnant for both of HERS???? The evil wishes for her and her babies were disgraceful, and will not be forgotten!’

Confused by your response – Please explain how other people’s online sick behaviour justifies all the hate on this thread for Jennifer and the spiteful things being said about her dog dying?

  79. someone says:

I hardly think she got a tatoo just to promote herself….she can’t walk out her front door without getting press….she had Norman a very long time, and if your an animal lover, you would know how attached you get to them.I see nothing wrong with what she did…its on her foot, not written across her forhead, so the haters need to get over themselves.

  80. Jessica says:

Jen shows her true colors after all these years … she better knocked up soon, 42 is pretty old to start having babies.

I don’t see Theroux sticking around.

I feel bad for her that her dog died and see no problem with her getting a tattoo of his name, if that’s in fact what it is.

But I’m just tired of this woman overall. She has done nothing of note in her entire life, except popularize a hairstyle that she later said she hated.

  81. shawna says:

what the hell people? I think it is super sweet of her to get norman’s name tattooed on her. I have always said once my dog goes to heaven I will get her name tattooed on myself as well. Why can people get tattoos of fucking butterflies but getting a name of something that was meaningful and so important in your life is so horrible??? I swear, after reading some of these comments the haters write on here, you all must have shitty lives. animals never judge you and love you unconditionally unlike people who can turn their back on you real quick

  82. Laura says:

“Wow, you people are seriously jaded. I feel sorry for you, not her. Just a bunch of mean girls with a pack mentality. You should be embarrassed by the things you write on here.”

Excellent post. Is it weird for people to get tattoos of their children’s names? No. Some people get portraits of their dead children’s faces on their bodies (I’ve seen it on those tattoo shows).

Norman was as close to a child as she had.

What is wrong with some of you?

  83. Sue says:

I love my pets, but tattooing their names anywhere on me is just a little too weird for my taste

  84. Sue says:

Reply to Josephina’s comment…. THere is nothing wrong in remembering one’s pet… perhaps starting some kind of fund in his name, a donation to an animal shelter – something that would benefit animals who need it, would have been a fitting tribute to Norman.

  85. Kim says:

Forget the tattoo – look at how different her nose is now from back in the Friends days! Whole new nose. Deviated septum my butt, she has had it worked on many times!

  86. honestly says:

I think people need to pay more attention to people’s needs – dogs, cats are all animals – and we all love them – I have pets and I take care of them. But they are still only animals, no matter how cute, smart, intelligent or behaved they are – be real – they still are only animals!!! The money people spend on their pets is astronomical and out there are millions of PEOPLE starving in the world> How can you justify that – you people who treat their pets like they are gods???? They go bunkers over them and spoil them! You tell me – what gives??? And I do like animals too!!!!!

  87. Bronson says:

…not everyone who gets tattooed is trying to “hardcore”.

  88. kira says:

    @Chloe and Hannah. Totally agree.

I think she’s trying very hard to take over the news cycle. The news about her cheating, and dating Justin while he was still living with Heidi was never denied by her PR. Instead, we are getting the “happy couple” publicity pictures, and her PR is talking to People magazine about her dog.

Even worse for Aniston, Cameron Diaz’s movie scored a huge hit with a BIG 31 million opening for a film that rested solely on Cameron’s shoulders as the lead and no big male co-star. This is something Aniston has never achieved by herself. And coincedently, also yesterday, People magazine talked to Aniston’s rep about a lunch date Jen had with Justin. They even told People exactly what she ate for lunch. Today she’s on GMA talking relationships. Anything to get into the headlines. She’s got a movie to sell and it looks like she’s going to exploit everything she can. Like I said, tacky, tacky, tacky . . . 🙂

  89. Micki says:

I have a dog and 2 cats and another 2 cats and a dog already dead.I love all of them dearly but won’t tattoo their names.
Anyway does JA have something else in her life (apart from the dog)worth getting tattood?

  90. Ruffian9 says:

Totally harsh comments here – WTH?

I think it’s sweet. I haven’t done it – and I’ve lost a beloved pet. But I understand the sentiment.

  91. fizXgirl314 says:

man, some of you people are really crazy… GET HELP!

  92. Laura says:

kira: Every actor goes out and promotes their films-they are contractually obligated as the stars of the films to sell it to the public before it comes out.

And you have to think about what kind of audience she’s trying to appeal to when her publicist gets info out about her (which all publicists do-it’s kinda their job).

Talking to People? Talk about what she’s eating-women who read People magazine will be interested to know what someone in such good shape eats.

Talking to light and fluffy Good Morning America folks? If you actually watched the interview she talked about fluff topics like her wardrobe, workout tips and what she would be doing if she wasn’t an actress. All she said about her personal life was that she was very happy and very lucky.

You must think all actors are tacky going out and shilling for their films like they are contractually obligated to do. I mean, jeez-next you’ll see those tacky Harry Potter kids doing interviews to promote their films.

  93. Pounette says:

Why doestn’t she just get another tattoo across her forehead saying Brad Pitt and get over it.

  94. Sherri says:

I think that’s way sweet! She really loved her dog, Norman.

  95. Barbara says:

Who cares who gets tatoo’s period, what’s the bigh deal. I think they are all goofy but lots of people get them so once again big deal………

  96. duane says:

I submit that it is quite touching that the ever-adorable Jennifer Aniston got a tattoo of her dog upon her foot. It shows that she loves animals and has a soft spot for her pets. Such warm-heartedness should be highly commended, and I for one heartily do so. Good for you, Jen!

  97. Laughternrain says:

“ever-adorable Jennifer Aniston” Please. Put down the koolaid.

  98. Jolie says:

Why hide it on her foot? She should have had it tatooed on her forehead.

  99. Unquestionably imagine that which you stated. Your favourite justification appeared to be on the net the simplest factor to keep in mind of. I say to you, I certainly get irked while folks consider worries that they just don’t recognise about. You controlled to hit the nail upon the highest as neatly as defined out the entire thing with no need side-effects , people can take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thank you
