Julia Roberts & Lily Collins look terrible, hairy in the ‘Mirror, Mirror’ trailer

snow1

The first trailer for Mirror, Mirror is out – that’s the Snow White film starring Lily Collins as Snow and Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen – we bitched about the production stills a few weeks ago. First, let me just say that I do think Lily Collins is a pretty little girl. She is! And don’t start yelling about how she looks, for real. But, I have two big problems with Lily Collins as Snow White. One, she was simply miscast. Lily Collins looks like a 14-year-old mall girl – a pretty mall girl, but now really “the fairest of them all”. Secondly, HER BROWS. Did all of the production costs go to busted costumes and Julia Roberts’ paycheck and NO ONE could afford a pair of tweezers? It is absolutely ridiculous to me that no one thought to tweeze Lily’s brows. They’re so unruly, it’s distracting, and I swear she has a unibrow in some scenes. OK, here’s the trailer:

Much like Snow White and the Huntsman, it seems like the Evil Queen is the star of this bitch, and that’s how Julia is playing it. Unfortunately for Julia, Charlize Theron now kind of owns the Evil Queen, right? What else? The costumes look even worse in the trailer than in the stills – I guess the vibe is supposed to be “live-action cartoon” and comedy. You know who I thought was rather cute? Armie Hammer. He looks completely unsuited for both Julia and Lily, though. Seeing him get all starry eyed for Hairy McUnibrow is unsettling. Poor Armie.

i’m getting a bollywood feel when i look at the trailer. it’s kind of unfair to compare the two since they’re sooo different. i don’t know it seems lighthearted and fun. not oscar worth but decent.

  2. I.want.shoes says:

    This looks bad.

And swan, peacock… what’s with the bird costumes?

  3. Addie says:

Why are both the snow white movies being released at the same time?

How are Lilly Collins and Julia Roberts beliveable as the “fairest” and “2nd fairest” of them all. Lol

  4. brin says:

    Ugh…two beaks down, no thanks.

  5. Jem says:

I don’t know how much better it is to tell us not to mention her appearance when you make fun of her eyebrows and call her Hairy McUnibrow.

I still think it looks terrible though haha.

  6. truthSF says:

Is that Lily girl really just 14? If she is, would’nt Arnie Hammer be too grown to play her love intrest?

A for t this movie, it looks good. More like a light hearted comedy aimed for children, as opposed to the darker theme version aimed at adults.

  7. sl says:

Trying to hard and boring, just as Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland with Johnny Depp in my opinion

  8. Eleonor says:

That eyebrows… it’s Snowwhite, not Frida! BTW Charlize Theron rules as evil queen, even if there’s no way Kristen Stewart is more beautiful than her.

  9. Anna says:

#7, it’s interesting that you say that. I was just thinking that after seeing Tim Burton recreate so many classics over the past few years I’ve developed a taste for his movies. They’re always so bright, the costumes are spectacular, and the script is on point. This movie looks like it was made in another time. Is it even in HD? It looks like it was made in someone’s basement.

  10. kikay says:

I think this one with Julia Roberts is a comedy Snow White, whereas the SWATH is a dark action drama.I think i’ll watch both, but i’ll watch Kristen on a big screen and watch Julia on dvd.

  11. Kaiser says:

truth – Lily is like 18 or 19, she just looks super-young.

  12. TheHeat says:

Before I even read this article, my first thought was “Somebody, ANYBODY, get that girl some tweezers!!!!”

  13. Mila says:

I actually think that Julia is funny and actually good as Evil Queen.
This is comedy and the other one is kind of true Grimm brothers horror story.
I like thicker brows since i see a lot of girls have two lines and kind of ridiculous looking brows. But Lily’s brows are too thick even for my taste.

  14. neelyo says:

Julia had to get that laugh in there somehow though it really doesn’t sound wicked, just out of place. Anyone else think she looks wan and tired?

This whole enterprise looks and feels like one of those ABC Disney tv-movie musicals of the late 90s. And that’s not a compliment.

Oh and that Collins girl is only working because she’s Phil Collins’ daughter. There are many other prettier girls in Hollywood.

  15. Sandra says:

I’d say the pre-hatred for this movie is unwarranted, seeing as the two Snow Whites are completely different in look and tone. One’s a dark and moody action flick and the other is a more family-oriented, almost Ella Enchanted-esque, holiday-type movie. I think it actually looks pretty fun, although I’m 100 percent on board the tweezer train – just a little trimming can make all the difference!

  16. adams says:

Actually I really liked the trailer, it’s more like a bit fractured fairy tale interpretation of Snow White. But and the same time I really loved The Fall so I am a bit biased. I know that Twigirl version is more action based. However the Huntsman is a little too serious, with a dash of Leon mixed in. Snow White is a bit comical in a sense. I think that Ms. Theron although a great pick for the Evil Queen is syphoning way to many anime evil characteristic. If anything The Huntsman is basically an anime but live action. They practically stole a shot from G.I.T.S. in one the of the scenes with the Evil Queen. Ms. Roberts is having fun with her roll. We shall see when the two go head to head. I think that more parents and kids are going to Mirror Mirror and more teens and young adult are going to the Huntsman.

  17. emma says:

Charlize’s Snow White definitely looks better but this one looks really funny. I want to see it despite the costumes looking so cheap. Shameful for Tarsem to be honest.

  18. Fifthpocket says:

I think her eyebrows are gorgeous! Plus, this is a Tarsem film so I have high expectations. Production stills never have the full lighting, look and feel of the final movie and his costume designer has always done over the top costumed looks. After “The Fall” I’m really looking forward to this production.

  19. Schnauzers!!!! says:

I think the movie looks super fun. 🙂

Not commenting on looks at all.

  20. Kellie says:

I like her eyebrows, they look natural. The movie looks like I would enjoy it more on DVD.

  21. Elvynn says:

I love this trailer because it is so fun and old school. I will see it.
And it is not fair to compare both Snow White. They will havé different atmosphere.

  22. kiko says:

i didn’t hate it .looks fun.have to admit the eyebrows really annoy me…

  23. truthSF says:

Thanks Kaiser, it’s good to know theres no eek factor involved.

  24. tapioca says:

I think Lily is very pretty and looks perfectly Snow White-ish, whilst the humour seems of the so-bad-it’s-good variety so this one’s my pick. And at least this cast will turn up at the premiere looking happy to be amongst the plebeians who pay their mortgages.

Even if Julia R is faking it…

  25. keri says:

    Budget.

  26. Lizzy says:

    Agree to disagree

I actually thought the trailer was good, definitely lighter than SW and the huntsman…two different atmospheres but both seem enjoyable.

As for her eyebrows, give her a break, not everyone is obsessed with hair removal like Kim K.

  27. ds says:

Oh this is just something for the kids… costume are too much but little girls will love it. I don’t undrestand the need to compare the two films since they are for the different audience- the only thing that bides them is the story that inspired them. Having said that – will not see either. Both look like typical Hollywood trash

  28. RocketMerry says:

The two Snow-white movies seem so different. They both may have a chance at doing good at the box-office, since one is comedy and the other one is more dramatic. As in, I’ll probably see both!

  29. Riana says:

After seeing the trailer I think the complaints are kinda high school. Was there a law that passed recently stating the acceptable amount of thickness for a woman’s brows? Eye roll. They look fine. They’re shaped and arched, if you want them to be a certain milimeter amount in diameter then that’s a bit silly.

I’d kill for brows like that.

In any case I just don’t get it. Nothing seems budget or cheap to me, the stills actually don’t do justice to what’s captured in the live action. I’d take good acting over “Do they really qualify as fairest?” and what I’ve seen makes me think I’d actually enjoy watching this and seek it out.

Give the ladies a break, eyebrows are a weird thing to harp on.

  30. faye says:

Come on now. Why do you have to hate on a girl who probably has some ancestry from this part of the world? Some ethnicities have thicker brows. Get over it.

    http://media.lonelyplanet.com/lpimg/25745/25745-23/preview.jpg

  31. S says:

I will def see both movies. Theron and Roberts as evil bitches, that will be great entertainment.

  32. The Original Mia says:

As much as I hate to admit it, I thought the trailer was funny. Wouldn’t pay to see this movie, though. And I want to pluck, wax, and shape Lily Collins’ eyebrows. Man…she’s really rocking the Freida brows.

  33. Katie says:

this snow white seems to be more tween/kid friendly so I’m happy there is another one coming out for their sake.

  34. PJ says:

I have to admit I like both queens very much. Evil cold blond vs. bitchy patronizing redhead, they are very lifelike (that´s not so surprising because both ladies play basically themselves). However the Mirror, Mirror version looks very theatrical. The cheap lookimg costumes, awful setting – the rooms look so cardboard-ish (not sure if that´s a word)even the forest looks like studio. I guess Julia asked for too much money.

  35. Riana says:

I just clicked on the Charlize link because I never saw the trailer for that film and think it’s kinda funny/ironic the whole ‘Destined to be Fairer’ qualifier they used for Kristen Stewart. Funny for…obvious reasons, but ironic because I think it would also work for this film.

I don’t get mall girl from Lily at all, frankly I feel like she’s a beauty in the making. Meaning she’s lovely now but 5-10 more years and I suspect she’d be a real knock out.

  36. Denise says:

Julia Roberts is so awful. She ruins everything she’s in with her self-awareness and ego. Her fake accent is in and out throughout the trailer. I will stay away from this disaster.

  37. wunder says:

This is gonna bomb big time. The trailer already stinks to high heaven!

  38. Mi says:

I think this looks like it’s going to be fun to watch. And Roberts Evil Queen seems to be a really bitchy so she gets points from me.

And to be honest they are to really different movies, so I’m not going to condem either one of them until I’ve seen them both.

  39. ladybert62 says:

I simply cant get past the eyebrows, the swan on the head and ugly julia roberts and her ugly costume.

I predict this movie is a disaster and will get ridiculed by the critics.

  40. LittleDeadGrrl says:

It looks like a comedy which may not be a bad thing. It’s very campy and if they pull it off it may be worth a viewing. I don’t know about a theater viewing but it’s fun enough for a rent maybe?

I think Lily Collins is very beautiful and is suited for this kind of campy production. You can’t make her like this ethereal sex kitten. It’d look totally strange with the type of movie they are going for.

The other trailer I have to say looks a thousand times more interesting. I don’t know if KStew is the right one to play Snow White but Charlize Theron looks amazing as the evil queen. I’d see that one in theaters but I’m not much for campy.

  41. Jane says:

I think Lily Collins is cute as hell and certainly more fitting for Snow White than KStew (but that is not hard to achieve at all..)

  42. Rhiley says:

Ugh, Julia’s cackly laugh of course has to get its 2 minutes. I bet her laugh costs a couple of million bucks. I hate how it has become its own character in all of her movies. OBNOXIOUS.

  43. Maya says:

Armie Hammer is the perfect fairy tale prince. But other than him, this movie does look pretty bad.

  44. Nina says:

    Dwarf: Who are you?
    Snow White: Snow White.
    Dwarf: Snow way!

Really? REALLY? God, this looks horrible. I do like how Julia Roberts goes between an English accent and talking as she normally does. ACTING!

  45. Adrien says:

GAh! Julia Roberts just can’t disappear in films. That’s no evil queen, that’s just Julia in medieval costume. And why is her accent different each scene? M,M’s evil queen is adorable and likable. I don’t see anyone rooting for Snow.
Kaiser, I see nothing wrong with her brows. She reminds me of Jennifer Connely in Labyrinth. But yeah, she’s beautiful but not that stunning. Unlike her dad, she has no Invisible Touch.

  46. Lupe says:

I like the strong brow too! Obviously it was a stylistic choice, no one “forgot” to tweeze them. Seeing as Lily Collin’s hair is not naturally that black, they probably added to them with makeup. She looks beautiful with them.

That being said, I just can’t with this trailer. It looks so cliche. I absolutely loved director Tarsem’s The Fall, so I’ll still give it a try on dvd.

  47. Suzy (from Ontario, Canada) says:

I was pleasantly surprised by the trailer. They are going for a completely different vibe than Snow White & the Huntsman. This one seems funny and quirky in a kind of Princess Bride meets Monty Python way, and I like that it’s doing that and not trying to compete against the other Snow White in the same vein.

I don’t know Lily Collins as an actress. I agree the eyebrows are a bit much, but I think she’s pretty enough. Frankly, I think she’s more Snow White than Kristen Stewart. The latter just doesn’t project “the fairest of them all” to me, especially not when compared to Charlize Theron. Pleeeze!

Kristen Stewart, to me, always projects a kind of hard look and I find her looks to be average-pretty at best. Personally I think they should’ve found an unknown gorgeous young actress to play Snow White in the Charlize Theron movie. Theron looks like she is able to carry the movie herself, based on her amazing performance in the trailer I’ve seen. I hate that Hollywood seems to always feel that just because an actor is “hot” they have to cast them in everything, whether it’s a good fit or not. This could’ve been a big break for an unknown and there are a lot of beautiful young actresses out there waiting for that break …and probably would’ve fit the “fairest of them all” more than Stewart!

Still, I’ll likely go see both of them. Funny how fairy tales are suddenly a big deal.

  48. Ana says:

I was hoping the costumes would look better on video, oh well…

This is more of a kids oriented movie, so I’ll probably won’t be watching it.

Her eyebrows are thick, indeed. But she looks pretty, maybe we have grown accustomed to those thin lines that look like they have been drawn with a sharpie, trying to pass off as eyebrows.

I say welcome to eyebrows in all shapes and sizes!…Except uni-brows mwahaha

  49. wunder says:

So thick hairy eyebrows are back ‘in’ then?

Just flushed my Tweezerman down the turlit!

  50. Beatrix says:

why has no one said a word about Julia’s atrocious “British accent?” – was that on purpose?

  51. geekychic says:

the movie looks awful, but i wasn’t planning on seeing it anyway. i’m definetly the SWATH public. BUT, i like her brows: actually as a girl with srtong brows that i choose not to tweeze (bc i think they are part of my look, and io don’t want to look like every single young thing), the uniform “unruly brows=ugly, ahhhhh” stance slightly bohers me.

  52. Rose says:

Oh come on, this is perfect for little kids.

  53. Girl says:

I love how on JRs red dress, the peacock feather makes it looks like her boobs have eyes.

And yes! Them eyebrows! Holy cow! Did they not notice through the entire duration of filming?

  54. BORED says:

Everytime I see Lily Collins, I see a young Liz Taylor, this movie looks terrible though, and Julia Roberts Irks me these days.

  55. jinny says:

THE QUEEN WAS MISCAST!! What a travesty! This movie might have been good, but Julia Roberts cannot pull off the queen. Roberts is neither funny nor deliciously wicked, which this role requires.

Helena Bonham Carter!!! should have been the Evil Queen.

  56. fabgrrl says:

This is obviously a kid/tween movie. It is not trying to be anything else. I think it looks fun!

  57. dorothy says:

I’m just so over Julia Roberts.

  58. AZ says:

I will see this movie for Armie Hammer 😀

  59. Alix says:

Happily, Julia’s sad attempts at an accent seem to disappear five minutes into the film. But why does Hollywood assume we’re all in love with that donkey-like brayish laugh of hers? ugh!

  60. wunder says:

JR’s bad British accent further CHEAPENS this already budget film to the point where I might just have to go see it.

  61. L says:

Look there’s a difference between thick natural brows, and unruly natural brows. I feel like the arch is good, but there are some weird wispys at the ends that make them look sloppy. The powder they used to darken them (all makeup artists do this on movies) were a little to dark. And the unibrow is NOT cool. Seriously.

That said, the drawn on eyebrow look is just as bad. Other than the unibrow and wispys-all the girl needs is less eyebrow powder and some eyebrow gel. Keep them thick and natural, just don’t let them get out of control.

  62. L says:

And JULIA. My god. She’s playing herself, right down to the annoying laugh. Awful

  63. F5 says:

So is there like a makeover in the movie, so unibrow is “before” picture? Too lazy to look @ the trailer

  64. Reece says:

I kinda like this. It’s absurd and made me giggle. It’s the Disney on crack version.

And yes Lily Collins and Jennifer Connelly(sp?) need to have a talk.

  65. Kate says:

    I am Lily’s full-brow sister. Go, girl.

  66. Vera says:

Meeeh. It looks like it’ll be amusing, but it doesn’t look great or anything. I’m really hoping the KStew one will be as good as that teaser trailer was…

  67. Lisa says:

There is no way that I can miss seeing Madame Roberts playing the role she was BORN TO PLAY!!!

I think the little girl looks sweet…I am NOT going to go there regarding her eyebrows…even though last Thursday I got my eyebrows threaded, waxed AND tweezed…because mine looked JUST LIKE THAT!!! (they grow wild in colder months!)

  68. sara d. says:

i love that armie hammer! he’s so gorgeous. i can’t wait to see this movie!

  69. joancrawfordhangers says:

Love the trailer. Love Julia. The end.

  70. My Darling Pinkett says:

It doesn’t look great, but it actually looks funny. These two adaptations are so different, and they both have things going for them. SWATH is serious and high on special effects, and Mirror, Mirror is goofy and family friendly. I’m not as bothered by Lily Collins’ eyebrows, but I do agree that she isn’t the fairest of them all. But I prefer her to Kristen Stewart, who is even less of a Snow White than Lily. Julia Roberts, well, her accent is bad, but she has the funny vibe going. She might not be half-bad in this. And remember, Charlize is playing a dark, evil queen. Julia’s isn’t as dark. They’re both interesting in their roles.

Anyway, it’ll be months until we find out if either is any good. I’ll save my full judgment until then. Right now, I’ll say that they both look okay.

  71. Katie says:

All I can see on Lily Collins is eyebrow. I can’t focus on anything else!

  72. Lairen says:

They definitely should have released this trailer before SWATH. It would have looked slightly less terrible if we didn’t have something to compare it to.

  73. anne_000 says:

    JR ruined the trailer.

@36 Denise: “Julia Roberts is so awful. She ruins everything she’s in with her self-awareness and ego. Her fake accent is in and out throughout the trailer.”

    I AGREE COMPLETELY. WELL SAID!

I guess someone thought her caustic personality would make her an able evil queen, but that someone was wrong. She screwed up yet another role.

  74. Jackson says:

If she is the same person I just googled, she is 22 years old – certainly old enough to be criticized! And I think calling her ‘Hairy McUnibrow’ is not exactly complimentary.

  75. Marr says:

Rarely is a trailer so bad that I simply cannot watch it full. Actually I only got that with ‘The Hottie And The Nottie’ before this. And that says something…
P.S. Imo Tarsem Singh is way way overhyped (and yes, I’ve seen his ‘best’ work).

  76. Redd says:

Julia Roberts looks ridiculous, like a low budget Reba McIntire. Good grief, what has happened to her face? She seems to have aged suddenly, terribly.

  77. jennifer miller says:

it will be interesting to see julia roberts in a not-so-julia-roberts role. the costumes look really great, i wonder if they will ever be in an exhibit to see up close? some of the handiwork is amazing.

  78. Camille says:

    Awful, awful, awful.

  79. Alexis says:

Looks silly but in a self acknowledged sort of way. The eyebrows remind me of Jennifer Connelly’s character in Labyrinth so…I LIKE IT.

  80. Olivia says:

I adore Lily Collins! She is such a cute girl and growing to be beautiful in the future, so just like Snow White, love it! I wish they have the traditional outfit from Disney and put it on Lily, but her costume is adorable and goofy, love love love!

  81. tracking says:

    Holy hot mess, batman.

  82. bored says:

Big eyebrows seem to be a ‘thing’ lately. Particularly those Olson girls seem to be trying to make it happen. I kind of like it. So much more interesting than the old pencil line…

  83. Charlottean says:

    The costumes are ATROCIOUS.

    That swan headpiece?!? I can’t…

  84. NM9005 says:

Wow *stares with open mouth at trailer*. Wow.

That is so amazingly bad. It doesn’t even get funny. What an utterly insane crapfest! I watched it three times and I can’t…

    Julia Roberts <<<<<< Charlize Theron:
She is weirdly enough miscast. I thought that “playing” a bitch would be natural for her???

Lily: She doesn’t do anything for me. So bland even with all that action and colour going on, it’s lacks energy (and a good script). Just no.

The dialogues, the jokes, the action…the whatever the hell that is supposed to be. It’s just so bad.
SWATH already killed Mirror Mirror based on the trailers (and I’m one to wait until the film comes out to state such a “heavy” opinion).

  85. Melissa says:

I really love the costumes and the sets of this. They’re breathtaking! It looks cute and fun but I think the trailer confuses me a little bit because of the mishmash. Nonetheless, I think the movie will be fantastic!

  86. Kendall says:

I’m sorry but my hands down favorite Snow White movie will always be Snow White: A Tale of Terror. I know it’s ridiculous but somehow always draws me back.

I’m not a huge fan of Julia Roberts…I honestly think she’s one of those actresses that blew up early and for some weird reason someone’s still keeping her career afloat. DO NOT GET IT.

  87. Babalon says:

Wow. This looks to be a really, really stupid version of the story.

Julia Roberts playing Julia Roberts with an accent is just…annoying with a side of annoying. Ugh.

  88. Zigggy says:

I hate the costumes. Julia’s accent/no accent is stupid. I will probably at some point watch it though, when it’s free on TV. Come on- it looks kinda cute! ?

  89. JT says:

I’m a little disappointed by the trailer. After seeing the stills I was actually looking forward to the movie. But they’ve given a very good impression of what kind of movie it will be, predictable and totally uninspiring, completely forgettable to anyone above the age of 12. But I still think that Lily Collins is the perfect choice for Snow White. I remember her in the Blind Side. She is a very stunning girl.

  90. ol cranky says:

I’m really embarrassed I know this but Lily Collins is 22 (she was born in MArch of 1989)

  91. samira677 says:

This movie looks horrible. I thought it was too goofy. The casting is horribly miscast. Lily does look too young. Especially compared to Army Hammer. Julia is pretty but not beautiful.

  92. ferst says:

Well, if you want to look at it that way, Julia is hardly what you might call ‘the fairest of them all’ too. The movie seems funny though, and kids-friendly.

  93. Kara Ann says:

Awww, c’mon people it’s like a Disney cartoon! It ain’t the Huntsmen which is a good thing for everyone. Who wants to see 2 of the same movie? I can’t stand Julia either but she fits as a bitchy queen, not evil per se just bitchy. Lily looks lovely. I agree with whoever said that the nitpicking with people needs to stop esp. young girls. Leave her eyebrows alone!

  94. sierra says:

I don’t know I’m kind of digging it. I like the other one, it’s supposed to be dark and all, but I’d rather watch something lighthearted and fun like this. I don’t think anyone is taking themselves too seriously here. And I like the girl She is pretty and she has a lot of character…compared to kstew.

  95. ZenB!tch says:

Julia Roberts looks hideous. She was never very pretty so I don’t get the casting at all but they made her look worse.

Lily needs to get to the threader or the waxer ASAP. She could be pretty but….

  96. ZenB!tch says:

Julia Roberts may be a bitch IRL but she is also annoyingly goofy. She has that big dorky cackle and she’s whatever the opposite of graceful is (clumsy isn’t right and can a 45 year old be gawky?). She is not pretty (nevermind beautiful she is not now, nor has she ever been pretty) and the role of the Evil Queen is one of a fading beauty hanging on to the last strands of her youth. I see the fading but she never had the beauty. I would cast Nicole Kidman or Angelina (she looks old, sorry).

  97. Valerie says:

I find it disturbing how much this website continually condemns and scrutinizes women for how much plastic surgery or fillers they’ve had, and then turns around and mocks someone who is beautifully real. I don’t know which is worse: the hypocrisy or the flat out sexism. I mean, if you’re going to be against plastic surgery so much, it would make sense to admire someone who decided not to bow to the pressures of society to look a certain way. Maybe you should take some responsibility for the starlets, who, without enough self confidence, end up jacking their faces at a young age: your relentless and thoughtless criticism contributes to the culture of women feeling valued only for their appearance. (Escapism is not really smart it seems.) I like her “natural” looking eyebrows because they defy the rigid, plastic, Barbie doll standard of beauty that we’re still subjected to and which seems to be getting worse — just look at the style of platform heel that’s popular now. In the 80s, if you recall, Brooke Shields had eyebrows like Lily’s and they were considered lovely.

  98. Zay says:

Very unfair all this hate for the movie…it looks fun and kids will love it…also none is going to cinemas to watch it cause of this lily anyways….

  99. Amy says:

SWATH looks so much better and better cast. I actually think Kristen Stewart is very suited for Snow White, especially compared to Lily Collins.

Have to say, I’m a bit confused why so many people are obsessing over eyebrows? I think they look fine, certainly heavier than what’s fashionable, but I really detest this idea that this blog seems to promote that everyone should fit this “Hollywood” image, especially when it comes to women, and even young girls. It can stray very close to a misogynistic comment, sometimes (although I’m sure that is not the intention)

  100. coffeeisgood says:

This movie could have actually had some potential, but Lilly Collin’s eyebrow ruins it completely. The other snow white seems more dark and serious, while this one seems light and funny.

  101. Donald Dyer says:

You hit the nail on the head when you said “Live-action cartoon and comedy.” That’s exactly what this film will be, enjoyable to all ages.

The problem is that “Ever After” did it better and had Leonardo Da Vinci. No one is eviller than Anjelica Houston!

  103. brendan says:

Damn, I didn’t realize her eyebrows were so thick. This looks so bad! SO BAD

  104. Cupcake says:

I don’t see what’s so bad about her eyebrows. I think natural beauty is better than all of this tweezer junk. I like Lily Collins because she doesn’t care about how she looks. And making fun of her eyebrows doesn’t really help anyone, does it? Lily Collins is beautiful, and I think the casting directors made a good choice.

  105. JakeD says:

Seriously?! Wtf?! Lily Collins has gorgeous eyebrows. They’re very sexy and NATURAL. gosh, all the women nowadays pluck ’em to death. She’s a gorgeous actress, and you bitches are just jealous.

  106. Emily says:

Lily Collins’ eyebrows are so strong and beautiful. They’re very 1950’s. I guess people these days can’t appreciate classic beauty. Lily reminds me exactly of Audrey Hepburn in Mirror, Mirror. So beautiful!

  107. Somebody says:

Yes, Collins is a pretty girl, but not Snow White Pretty, plus she has a tan in most scenes, and i know she prefers a tan anyhow. I don’t want to be mean, i just wish Lily Collins hadn’t played Snow White, she’s nothing like her. She’ll do better in “City Of Bones” anyhow, red hair looks good on her. Those eyebrows would be fine if she’d have them properly shaped, meaning get rid of the uni-brow territory and other messy hairs keeping a perfect arch. I’m not saying she has to have thin eyebrows, just tidy them up coz they’re messy! I wish they’d gone with Saorsie Ronan for Snow White, she was the first choice and would have been perfect! And lord those costumes are terrible! Not gonna bother with S.W.A.T.H. Kristen Stewart is not a nice girl and is very nasty, therefore i can’t see any outer beauty in her, so she can’t be “The Fairest of them all”. Not going to see either films, i’m sticking with “Once Upon A Time”, that has the best Snow White and awesome costumes!

I love a fun romp and this looks just like that. Yes Julia’s getting old but I still think she commands respect which is what the role calls for.

But yes, that lily girl’s brows are uber distracting. I even went on a net search to ask why her brows were so thick?? If this was intentional I don’t get it.

    Armie Hammer is hot!
